The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.

The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.

It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.

Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.

The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.

Face up to reality, the party is over.
Honestly, it does not matter. This is the crypto world where everything is unpredictable. I am in this market since a long time now and all I know is it keeps getting better. Yes, the prices may fluctuate but they become higher than before. If you see prg coin, it is low right now but after the launch of PRG space, it shall rise.

that's not easy dude. bitcoin is a hard thing to understand. if we can know what thinks in their (whales) mind, we can do better.

I won't say that the game is over, but maybe some regulations will help the market

How else, we as small players can only see and wait, the rich get richer. Sometimes looking like this is very disappointed and sorry, eager to stop from the world of crypto.

Well if it is over why bitcoin market price is still expensive. Why it can't go back down drastically meaning to say that there are still so many people holding crypto especially bitcoin that is so expensive for now. This is something that is nothing to worry about. Bitcoin market price volatility is just normal and some experience investors are saying that bitcoin is dead 100x and now it will make as 101 deaths of bitcoin and still counting.

Bitcoin will be dead only when investors stop investing in bitcoin.  But it will not be soon.

bitcoin has been declared dead 150 times. the king has always returned to the throne. its protocol is inviolable. if there will be improvements of its weak points then we will have a strong use and obviously an increase in its price.

ENCRYBIT — FUTURE OF CRYPTOEXCHANGE
June 21, 2018, 07:40:31 AM
I don't think the game is over. Panic selling is surely the reason for the drop as the ones not believing completely in the fate of crypto will take such foolish steps.

There are plenty of potential investors and optimists with crypto and we'll see a high probably by the end of the year of mid-2019. The journey of crypto has been of ups and downs and every time
it has bounced back with positivity.

I don’t think it is over no one can predict what will happen in the market for as long as there are investors and they still believe in bitcoin and other crypto currency the Coins will long live. The flactuation happening right now in the market is normal and soon it will recover so let us just be patient.

If you say the game is over, but for me the game is started. So everyone's point of view is different. I believe it is the future of finance and it will forever change how we use money. However, I would say that bitcoins is just a jump off point of sorts and I think governments will just adopt the concepts and frameworks it has laid down. What will happen is that governments will ditch physical paper money and coins and go with cryptocurrency in their own way. So do you think the game is over because the price has fallen? There are many factors that make the price drop every day, but I think the game will never end as long as Bitcoin is still there.

Bitcoin has received its share of  devaluation overtime thanks to the activities of the wales who are going out of their way to get the value down, I however don believe that all is lost for BTC there are still chances that it will regain value and get to the to. We all have sen the potential BTC has, i don think its even near its death bed

We have not even seen a fraction of blockchain technology's potential yet so I think that cryptocurrencies are only just beginning to change economics and finance as we know it.

I have experienced four big drops since I am into cryptocurrency. After every drop the price raised a lot and it went higher that it was before. I don't think the game is over now
Indeed, maybe the OP hasn't experience those dip that we have been encountered because he's anxious in this phenomenon. Bitcoin has been always in these kind of situation but it doesn't give up, I mean after of horrible situation like a big dip it doesn't take long but rather it comes back and become more even better before. The games isn't over, all we should do is to keep hold what assets we have and we can pass through this nightmare.

Although bitcoin has shown the great fall since December I still believe that it will surely rise up again, like the usual terms since its price were never stable it will be hit in the market in a couple of months.

I don't think so, from a previously has too many people have such a similar comments, your most agree that the bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, so when these people profit, we will lose money, but in fact, in the long term, the bitcoin has been in a rising stage.

Well maybe it is over for you. The crypto world has experienced many up and down period. During the correction, the price can fall sharply but then it rise again. Even though it is hard to get back to the top like the end of last years, but it is too soon to make a statement like that, don't be panic and scare off people like that. 4 years ago, BTC is about $25, and  it got to the highest peak, $19000, and then dramatically decrease to $7000, but come on, if you look at the price of 4 years ago, that is a big raise. The flow of market gonna change , sooner or later.
