I do not think that facebook will accept bitcoins because mark zucker berg today wants cryptocurrency advertisement to be removed on their social media because of some fraud ico's that are not continuing their platform.

there is not any kind of evidence regarding the facebook and bitcoin, as I know they are just rumors but if the other competitors accept it it would be inevitable also for fb to accept it.

This posts was really years ago, and for today's update I highly believe that Facebook already accepts Bitcoin since the advertisements were really good at this point which is very effective marketing strategy actually since most of the people nowadays were aware in what Facebook was having a profit in Bitcoin for also advertising some of its campaigns.

Facebook may be studying its own digital encryption currency, which is the main reason they ban the advertising of ico and other digital encryption money!

About accepting bitcoin i'm not sure but i heard somewhere that facebook is going to create their own cryptocurrency. If it's true we will get another useless altcoin probably.

Although one of the ways of earning btc is through facebook campaign in bounties, but sad to say that the rumor is not true. For now, not yet, but maybe in the future they will. Hopefully.

Sad to say, but it is untrue. It is still too early for them to accept bitcoin. If they do manage to accept bitcoin then it will give a major boost on the bitcoin prices.

Now this is true, and your post was 2014 , I guess four had gone successful cause Bitcoin was finally free in most of the countries worldwide, and even though numbers of countries who bans this currency were happening each other day I guess Bitcoin will still run whenever it will take. Nowadays Bitcoin is not only accept by the Facebook but it also introuduced in the medium.

I think that it was just a misunderstanding and facebook will still not accept cryptocurrency on their own site since most of the social media's today are banning any advertisement about cryptocurrency.
