totally agree fairlay has become somewhat a joke since this rule change.

can you guys name another exchange or sportsbook that holds your winnings for 24 hrs?

whoever came up with this idea, should be fired.
Bitcoin as payment, no KYC and instant cashouts really require us to have such a rule as explained in the FAQ entry.

We could however offer accounts that pay an additional fee (probably arount 0.1% on all winnigs) but are exempted from the "on hold" rule. If there is enough demand for it, we will do it.

It's live. The additional commission is 0.1%  (except for dice / altcoin exchanges and independent from your reduction) if you want us to take over the risks associated with the "on hold" rule being deactivated. You may change this setting for your account every 7 days.

Wow, that's called acting quick Cheesy
Took you only a week!

i really wish management would do away with this hold on funds anytime there is a winner

i used to use your exchange everyday

now i find myself lucky to make a bet a day waiting for my funds to be released off a hold

just double check the games you grade and hire intelligent employees.

dont know why we have to suffer because of misgrades

other than that, fairlay would be my best sportsbook

Today I had a wager misguided and I'm receiving very little help in correcting the problem.

I placed a wager on an MLB money line. Both starting pitchers listed did not start, therefore money line wagers should be deemed no action. If someone from Fairlay can give me a hand with this that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello fairlay I have a question, how can I convert my "on hold" balance to "available" ? I'm asking this because one of my bets got settled yesterday but the amount went to "on hold" instead of "available".  I looked at the faq a couple of times and I haven't seen anything mentioned about the on hold balance.

If you wait 24 hours without making another bet, your on hold balance will be zero.  See our FAQ entry #40.

Trollbox and support box are back working!

How about that Trump market?  Are you actually going to settle it years before the event is over?
https://fairlay.com/market/trump-exit-date-2-1/

I was interested in putting some mony into it. But not without some settlement rules clarification.

We do not settle runner seperately unless there is very high demand (probably not the case here).

You may however request a settlement of one runner via the paid service.

I tried the support box and got this message:
"Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://fairlay.com/support/."

Couldn't connect to trollbox either.

Is this still a problem?

Trump exit date 2018 - 2025 - how can this market be settled on May 16, 2018?

https://fairlay.com/market/trump-exit-date-2-1/

There is a minute chance he resigns before then.

How is settlement handled in this case?

I'd like to know more details related to commissions and deposit Undecided, and I found that the website is not user-friendly somewhere Lips sealed.

The standard commission can be found on each market page.  However, each user can reduce their commission up to 92.5%.  The exact terms and your current reduction (most users start from 50%+ reduction - so will pay less than 0.125% on a standard sport market) will be put on the website very soon.

@hamsiu
What can we do better in particular?

guess who's back

It had to be expected that they would not run the 0 % fee for sports forever.
With 0.25 % they are still cheaper than every traditional betting exchange.

Nevertheless I think that they should update the FAQ on the Fairlay website,
because the FAQ still reads like this:

Quote
In the Sport, Live, Horse Racing, Exchange and Dice sections we take 0% fees.

just now I realized that Fairlay stated to charge fees , but as you said the faq still not updated
is that fee for all the sports in your experience ?? also is it charged on winnings or on each single stake

up to 2% on winnings is still good especially if the liquidity in Fairlay improved , last time I checked the site for horse racing the liquidity was really low
