Just to clarify I get this:

(snip)

That is the error message.

Also are passwords limited to numbers and letters?

No.

EDIT: your system does not accept symbols in the password field I guess this is why I got the error above, you may want to specify this somewhere I would think, just a suggestion. Thanks for the response, as soon as I heard that it should work I tried different passwords.

Password field does accept symbols.  My personal password has symbols in it.  Once again please send an email with details on what exactly you attempted to create an account with.

Is there a reason we cannot sign up for a new account? Get some blue screen when trying to do so.

EDIT: guess not

I am unable to duplicate the issue.   Just created a half dozen new test accounts without issue.

Trying this again.  Have some sanity checks to prevent orders when quotes become stale.

Update:
I made the call to suspend new purchases.  We don't like to rely on MtGox and use other exchanges to liquidated acquired coins however the spread between exchanges has grown.  This indicates an uncertainty on where MtGox will open.  bitstamp has dropped to $134 vs $141 MtGox last price.  Without solid price discovery we would be taking too much risk accepting new orders.
If MtGox fails to open in the next hour I will redirect the pricing engine to bitstamp and open using their quotes.

Online again.

And offline again.  Quote API is missing giant price moves.  Can't operate on nonsense data.  Sorry.

Fun fact: You don't need special MICR toner anymore. Checks now are read optically, not magnetically.

Are the limits, per order or per day?

Limits are per transaction.

The check printer is not working this morning.  First day working full time and I have spent three hours troubleshooting our MICR printer.   Sad
I am 99% confident checks will go into the mail today. A couple of our regular clients (who are use to the status happily changing to paid by 8AM or so) have already emailed support.  Will provide an update once I got todays batch of checks printed.

Update:  Checks printed and shipped.

So I just sent you 2.5 BTC @ 95.24 at 8:23 Eastern Time this morning, and got no confirmation you received it, payment addresses match 100%, and now my offer has expired yet my bitcoins are on the way to you.  What gives?  I sent the coins at 8:26 per my client on the same computer.

Issue has been resolved and confirmed by Fastbird, hopefully posts an update.

ACH and the respective gateways are no problem under the MSG guidance?

I wouldn't say "no problem" there are regulatory requirements for all transactions however transactions involving "cash" (meaning the physical currency of the United States or other foreign government to include certified instruments like cashier's checks and money orders) have a much higher regulatory burden.  Our initial legal consultation has made it clear that the requirements are so excessive that it doesn't even warrant considering.  I can't provide more specific details on our future policies for "non-cash" payments as we have an open inquiry with FinCEN right now however it is safe to assume FC4B will not offer any payment method that would be defined as a "cash transaction" by FinCEN (to include cashier's checks and money orders).  The requirements would make any such offering unattractive and the costs would make it excessively expensive.
