The England match is paying just 1.32 odds for a win, but the Australia match is at 1.96 odds
I think I'll just bet on Australia tomorrow

Hehe, I'm pretty happy because I won a bet with 1.96 odds  Grin
Finally I'm in profit again after some losses in group stage

So far I got 5 right guesses and 1 wrong (USA vs Sweden) in the round of 16

I believe France will win against Morocco. Jamaica vs Colombia maybe is the most balanced match, but I think Jamaica is more prepared, the team managed to hold 2 draws against France and Brazil.

Maybe this edition of world cup will have a new champion, I'm surprised with some results, I didn't expect to see USA out of quarter-finals at least. And I didn't expect New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and Germany out of round of 16.

Australia women's team attacked well from the start in Denmark vs Australia match and in the last minute they won 0-2. Between the two teams, we know that the Australian women's players know how to attack exceptionally well and they fought back in the last minute to win against Denmark. Although Australia scored a goal in the first half of the game Denmark women's team had chances to score but they were unable to attack with Australia, and Australia scored another goal later in the second half to put Denmark under pressure. And Denmark could not score any more goals and level the game due to which they were not selected for the quarter-finals and had to be eliminated. Australia's women's team qualified for the quarter-finals with a huge 0-2 win and they were jubilant at the end of the game.

I never thought the game was gonna extend to 120mins as many of us football fans were nursing the prediction of England starting to lead from the first half but the super falcons fought harder than expected Showing great tenacity, wonderful tactics and clinical tackles with their goalkeeper helping to save the game to extra time.
Congrats to the England women's team.
The women from England also play good soccer, not only in the Premier League plays the best men in the world. Today the women from england had a luck, but nice to see that they are in the next round. In the stadium today were 50,000 people to see the game, that is a lot. I have also seen a few games and that was not the case in the past. Now currently Australia plays against Denmark and I also watch this in tv. A few moves in the tournament are strange from teams like morocco or zambia.
Women football players from every country is doing their best. Today's match is something big for both the teams. The tough fight ended with the penalty shootout. The performance throughout the match showed both the teams no down to the other team based on the statistics of the match. With this one more African team on the list qualified for the knockout have gone.

In the Australia vs Denmark match, from the beginning te dominance of Australia was seen and finally a win with 2 goals during the 29th and 70th minute have confirmed their spot into the quarter finals.

With the way the super falcons are dominating the game, there's a possibility that the game might end in their favor because I don't really see what the Lionesses are playing. Nigeria has made five goal attempts and one on target while the English have nothing.
So far, Lauren James has been kept quiet by the midfield and defense, especially the midfield and I hope for it to remain that way because she is another tricky individual who doesn't take mistakes from the opponents lightly. A great finisher, it would be deadly to keep her on the loose.
Sadly the super falcons has been terminated by the lionesses despite a one man down in the person of Lauren James in an unprofessional behavior that landed her a red card. Despite England having the victory at the end, I won't hesitate to point out that Lauren's behavior did put her team's victory at risk giving their opponent a high momentum at her absence on the pitch.

Fatigue has finally caught up with Alozie and this has cost her. First, the goal that she missed in the 98' and then the penalty. I'm all, it was a good game and I must say Nigeria performed better than England and they know it. Even though the falcons were not able to qualify, at least they were a worthy match.

Today against England, Nigeria continues to play brilliantly with neither team scoring until the last minute. There was enough fighting between the two teams and one of England's players was sent off with a red card which is very unfortunate for England. However, after 90 minutes of play, now the lost time has been given but the attack is still going on between the two teams as before. I am watching the game, two teams are really playing great game, looking at their attacks, it is impossible to say for sure which team will be confirmed in the quarter finals today. Since no goal has been scored yet, it cannot be said for sure which team will advance to the quarter finals if Penalty shootout is at the end of the lost time. But today's match is really a great fight between the two teams as England Women vs Nigeria Women is a tight battle between the two teams. Both the teams are attacking enough but their attacks are not succeeding today the winner will go to the quarter finals and the loser will be out, and in this situation both the teams are fighting exceptionally to win.

This tie would now have to be settled from the 12 yards out, I believe the England are the favorites as far as the penalty is concerned but then still, it's a game of luck and I think the Nigeria goalkeeper is quite impressive having saved one already in the opening fixture against Canada, so she be able to make some attempts at saving one or two, but then it's the Nigeria penalty takers, I can't be so confident in, fingers crossed btw!

In less than 5 minutes from now, England  and Nigeria lock horns in the bid to get into the quarter finals, and with so many surprising results coming from this competition already,  I honestly  see Nigeria ( the super falcons) 🇳🇬  getting passed the "The Lionesses 🇬🇧 " because women's football seems to favor the underdogs and they want it more!
Though the last 16 has seen the bigger teams pulling the big results... But Nigeria seems to be the best African team out there and they want to carry this flag for them which should be enough motivation for them and I would like to see them beat the over hyped English team to make history!

Prediction: England 🇬🇧 0-1 Nigeria 🇳🇬
I support you on this my friend, Nigeria is my preference on this but the England team should not be underestimated too as they are always on fire on the pitch as well. As things are now, they are dominating the Nigerian team in possessions but it's still good that the African side is holding them tightly, there is no way to score for pn both sides now and it's already the 59th minute. If the Nigerian team could not score, let them hold the defence tightly and try their luck with the penalty. This is because, with the pressure the England team are now mounting, it could be dangerous if they relax. Who knows, the penalty shoutout might favour them.

I'm very impressed by the Super Falcons performance so far, they've played so very well and limited England best players while creating decent chances of their own, and the introduction of Oshoala now should help them create even better opportunities, and she's very calm and composed on the ball, and another player that I would commend so far is Ayinde, she has comfortably kept Lauren James at bay, and making almost every touch on the impossible for her to make any decent decision so far.

Am looking at these stats and wondering how England has better looking statistics  Embarrassed but from what am seeing on the screen, Nigeria has looked more threatening in front of goal and generally looked more hungry to win this game..are we going to be getting a goal in normal time, I don't think so, penalties could be the decider here as the game isn't presenting any chances in open play...

England is showing a sense of desperation which is forcing them to make mistakes and not allowing  themselves to play freely...if Nigeria can capitalize on this we could get a result 😉 in their favor  Cool.

The Nigerian national team coach Randy Waldrum seems to good tactician. It is quite obvious that Lauren James is the powerhouse of the English side, sihe had assigned Halimatu Ayinde, and Chiamaka Nnadozie to curtail her excesses. The Nigerian team has hit the crossbar twice and they are dangerous in the attack. I don't know how long the Nigerian team can keep up this positive momentum because the English team shouldn't be underrated. They can capitalize on any blunder to punish the Super Falcons. If the Nigerian team can get a goal first in this match, then they will have the deserved advantage. But for now, the Nigerian girls have exceeded the expectation of many people. I just told my friend that even if the Falcons finally lose this game, they have made an impact in this world cup.

Serious that's how it seems and the England team are always over hyped I just don't know why they get to feel satisfied with that. Is a strategy or something that makes them feel motivated? Even the 3 Lions do get that, that's why they have player who are over hyped but play less.
The Falcons are really keeping it cool and making the Lioness play less than they played in their last game.

Nigeria Super Falcons facing the Lioness of England in the round of 16. With England being the favorite in this encounter doesn't mean the Falcons would just lose the game like that. I feel this isn't going to be easy for the Lioness because I see the Lioness underrating the Falcons but I'll tell you for free that this game will bring the best of the Super Falcons that we haven't seen since the beginning of this tournament, the Lioness may have the best players but I assure you that the Falcons will use this game to shock the world, IMO is a win for Nigeria.

I had a whole lot of optimism ahead of the game, but I really can't say I feel the same way with Asisat Oshoala being left on the bench yet again, and Onumonu starting ahead of her, she'll likely be on the flank and Uchenna Kanu playing upfront as the lone striker, and meanwhile England have opted for a more dynamic formation with their 3-4-2-1, defending with 5 players and also get to extra bodies up the flank when in possession.

I believe England are playing to mitigate Nigeria's midfield efficiency, and I think the coach needs a striker like Oshoala that would put the English team on their toes and disrupt their game style, I really have not been impressed by Onumonu's performance so in this tournament, whether on the flank or as the striker, she's lack quality touches and decision make instinct, unlike Oshoala who seemed to have a very terrific partnership with Rasheedat Ajibade and other supply from the midfield.

I’m just glad we don’t have to hear from that weird colored hair freak of a woman on the women’s team anymore. I’m so tired of her saying men should be able to play women’s sports and hating on our country. Her career ending this way with her losing the game for her team seems like the perfect ending if you ask me.
According to several sources first time  the United States will not  advance to the next phase of the  FIFA'S women's world cup. It is a pity, they are like one of the strongest teams in the world.  What I found odd, just an observation though is that some Americans are happy about the outcome of the game with Sweden. Nobody seems to like this woman, Megan Rapinoe.

Although everyone was surprised by the defeat of the USA, since they were two-time champions, in their country it was not so surprising.
The fact that the US team is not renewing and insisting on keeping players with a high age, shows that they need to do a renewal. Megan despite her quality and having done a lot in women's football, it's time to retire.

Overall, I think it was the worst performance in US women's soccer history. They really weren't playing like we used to.

The Swedish goalkeeper Zecira Musovic was to me the person (woman) of the match. Absolutely stupendously brilliant display of goalkeeping. Looking forward to their next game with Japan. I personally don't like penalties and I hope it doesn't get to that. It takes the fun out of winning during regular time.

What I could say of the USA situation is that they are not lucky this time, they actually played well and defended right too. But as we all know, the penalty is a game of luck, and the Swedish side had the luck this time as fate would have it. I only share the pains of the USA team which is the defending champion, it's so sad that they were knocked out at the very beginning of the knockout stage. And as for your analysis, dream on, Africans might surprise you this time, especially the Nigerian team, they are far better than their men.
It was a match between the first and third rankings so we can see that both teams played very well, there was no dominance even though the United States had more chances than Sweden, but Sweden's main goalkeeper Musovic played very impressively by saving his goal several times from USA attacks.
Penalty Shootout USA had taken the lead when the shooter from Sweden failed, but the pressure to take the penalty was so strong that it often became an obstacle for the players and they failed to complete their task, and that's what the last kickers from the USA experienced
Sweden will face Japan in the quarter-finals, and Japan, which has been quite impressive in several matches, will make it very difficult for Sweden.

In today's match England will face Nigeria, the best team currently in Africa and this will be an interesting match, Nigeria, even though they are not seeded in this match, cannot be underestimated because they performed quite well in the group phase and managed to draw against Canada, which is one of the teams strong in the group.
Another match that will be quite exciting is the host vs Denmark, and this will be a balanced match considering the strength of the two teams which are quite equal, Australia is superior because they are playing in front of their own public and that provides extra motivation to be able to move on to the next round, but that will not be a guarantee for Australia to beat Denmark easily, and from the two matches this time have the possibility of being determined until the extra time round and penalty shootout.
The USA losing really opened up the field. The USA should have won easily since they dominated the match. I see another upset here with Nigeria.

I’m just glad we don’t have to hear from that weird colored hair freak of a woman on the women’s team anymore.
