The lioness are just taking things slow and steady with a 1 nil win in today's encounter, I still don't know why the performance of the lioness is not that impressive to me, I expected them to do more like they have all it takes to make opposition be scared of playing them. If they (England female team) get to meet a team like Japan I don't think they can escape the force of the Japanese, to me the Lioness are too sluggish and they can't go far if they continue playing in that manner. Let's see how their next game would be like.

For South Africa this is a disappointing result especially that they were in the driving sit and had several opportunities to get more goals to secure maximum points ,but it seems excitement got the better of them which resulted in loss of concentration and allowed the Argentines to salvage a point out of nothing!
Otherwise great comeback for Argentina hope they mange to get out of the group stage.

The worldcup being the worldcup, these games have turned out to be difficult to read and am impressed with how Haiti played as I have never thought of them to be a football nation, better luck next time girls

Hehe, it was not so easy, only 1x0 for China against Haiti and the same for England, both struggle to win but at least they got the victory, 3 points and are almost at round of 16 hehe



This match will be hard for both teams, while Brazilians never win against France, I´m sure Frenchs will respect Brazil and know that past results don't guarantee the future
A draw can be a good result for both teams, but Brazil need to win to play against Jamaica with less pressure, from what I saw, Jamaican team is good and will probably win against Panama and make 4 points to play against Brazil.
But like you, my bet in on Brazil and I hope we both win our bets 

despite having a very poor performance in soccer, women are improving albeit slowly, in that I recognize and yes the players from the USA, Netherlands, England play very well, but even they have problems in defense, the goalkeepers have had a very poor performance and I see it happening in all the national teams that are participating in this world cup, for example in this game between the Netherlands and the USA that took place yesterday, July 27th, both teams played well in the attack and it was noticed that they played with 60% of the same quality as the men, but the same cannot be said about the defensive players, especially the goalkeepers

playing with one player less because they received a red card, surprisingly china managed to win the game even though they were in a very difficult situation like this, without a doubt china has a good team, but they have serious problems in defense, that's why i doubt it long enough to get far

Nigeria, Canada and Australia are all fighting for a place in the next round of the competition, so the Nigerian super falcons know what is at stake here. They will be treating their next game against Ireland with utmost importance, they need a win or a draw to book a place in round 16. After a poor showdown against the Canadian on the first game, they were able to put up an impressive performance against the Australian team to pick all 3 point. I hope they can build on their recent win and try to be injury free because the games are going to get tougher as they progress to the knockout stages of the competition.

Ausralia could have ended in 1-3 against Super Falcons of Nigeria if not for the 90+ minutes extra time, Super falcons defensive midfield became stronger after they lead Australia with extra goals in the early second half but what were you expecting from super falcons that made you have less expectation in Nigeria players, you should track back their earlier matches from Feb to date, you will understand that Nigeria is different from other African countries, we Oshoala that is representing Nigeria and she is one the best Barcelona ever had, she was among the players thats scored yesterday.

To be clear, African countries are not the only ones that are underperforming in group stages, Argentina are in groupG and they will be going home after the group stage, Vietnam is also from South America and they will be going home, Ireland also has zero attempt in goals, and Norway will all be heading home after this group stage.

In FIFA Women's World Cup, Argentina vs South Africa two teams played very well. I thought South Africa will perform well in this match and will win the match. But Argentina team's performance was amazing because of which no team could win this match. Argentina if  South Africa could have easily won this match if not for 2 goals. The performance of South Africa team was very good in the first half but at the end of the game the match was drawn due to poor play. The players of both teams played very well.

The Group F match between Brazil and France will be one of the most exciting matches and of course the two clubs will play to their full potential, especially for France because they are still below Brazil with a difference of 2 points, while Brazil with 3 points and France only 1 point.
At their last meeting in the Tournoi de France, Brazil lost to France with a score of 1 - 2 and later maybe Brazil can get a win over France if they can put out better playing skills considering that France is the only toughest competitor for Group F.

Yes I think the kudos to Haiti part is the important one. I like it a lot when the smaller soccer nations resist to be run over and they can celebrate that game despite the result being a loss statistically. But these surprises are becoming a rule rather than being coincidence all the time. Argentina vs. Saudi Arabia? The only goal Argentina scored was also a penalty, and oh oh, that one didn't end well and Saudi Arabia converted both their shots on target into a goal.

Today's game England again tried to win with minimal effort and they again got away with it as Denmark hit a post very close to the end of the game as I just found out. But this is also nothing unusual, the top favorites not playing better than is actually needed to win, but in both cases against Haiti and Denmark, England took it a bit too far. They did deserve to get punished, but as I said they got away with it and they are still among the favorites to win the tournament.

Wasn't that an emotional roller coaster? It's safe to say that everyone was confused by England's "stellar" performance versus Haiti. Imagine the school bully trying to open a milk carton and failing miserably. It's humorous, but also sad in a way. They had given Haiti all they had, but the only goal they had scored was a penalty kick. But kudos to Haiti, and particularly to the young dynamo Melchie Dumornay. Incredible skill! I can't deny feeling a little bit of envy

The Brazil women's team is regarded as one of the best women's national teams in the world and history clearly states that they're very much better of a side than the French women's national team.
That being said, the French team has been performing greatly lately and would certainly want to make a big statement when they face their Brazilian counterparts today. It'll be an entertaining game to watch especially for neutrals

Denmark still have a chance to make up for the one-goal deficit. And although England performed well, the hardest working player was the Danish player. England found themselves a goal early on but they didn't attack much in the latter half but Denmark were still based on attack. If Denmark wants to score against England, it must score through counter attack. Although Denmark got a corner kick but could not succeed in any way. I think if Denmark lost it must have been fate that forced them to lose.  Because today's game Danish team players have worked hard enough.

The South African female team lost a golden opportunity to get the maximum three points that would have given them better hope of moving to the next stage. The first goal was firstly disallowed as offside until the video assistant referee (VAR) confirmed that the referee's decision was wrong. The second goal also came through Kgatlana in the 66th minute but this lead didn't last for a long time because Braun's 74th strike gave the Argentine side the needed motivation to keep fighting. That goal will be one of the best goals in the tournament because it was scored from an unbelievably long distance. Five minutes later the Bayana Bayana lost their lead after a good display by the Argentine female team that led to a goal by Núñez.

Both Argentina and South Africa have an equal chance of qualifying because they both lost their first games against Sweden and Italy. The game against Sweden and Italy will determine who tops the group and how the next game will decide who moves to the next round.

Brasil Women vs France Women

A big match awaits tomorrow in the Women's World Cup where Brazil will face France. This Women's World Cup match will be held at Suncorp Stadium. These two teams are very strong among the teams participating in the Women's World Cup. It is difficult to predict the match between Brazil women team and France women team. I don't want to favor any team in terms of victory. If Brazil women's team and France women's team can play at their best then I think neither team will be able to surpass the other team, that means this match will be more likely to be a draw. The performance of the Brazil women's team against Panama in the last match is expected to give them a lot of confidence in the result of the match against France.

At the end of this first half England were only able to score one goal even with the many chances and shots on target that they were able to create. They played well and were able to stop Denmark from having the ball within the first 30 minutes of the game, but as the Denmarks started to get chances, they grew more confident and started to be more attacking. If the lioness do not try to extend their lead, Denmark have a very good chance of scoring in the second half. If they do so, It will be trouble and very unsettling for the lioness.

It looks like the games are getting more and more fun each year, I think in about 10-20 years we are going to see full stadiums for these games and a lot of people who are fans as well. I know that if we go back like 10-20 years it was barely there, 20 years ago it wasn't even considered, 10 years ago it was just picking up some seriousness, and today it looks like there is some actual great talents there, like some people are making decent name for themselves.

One thing missing right now is the revenue and that will only happen if they consistently go at it and do their marketing and keep fighting for it, and in about 10-20 years we will probably see this turning into some serious deal and have them actually play for a whole stadium every time.

During the first match, in which England could only win by a very narrow score, it was quite surprising because the opponent, Haiti, was a team that was quite weak in that group and in this tournament, so many predicted that England would be able to score many goals, but it turned out to be not easy for England, who even the only goal was obtained because of a penalty prize, and their second match against Denmark who was lucky enough to be able to beat China in the first match with a score that was also thin would be a tough match for both of them, especially England, who if they only drew or even lost would face China in the third match which is decisive, because it is very possible for China to win against Haiti. England and Denmark will target victory to ensure themselves qualify for the group phase. Argentina 2-2 South Africa

A four goals thriller match. Argentina did an incredible job fighting back from being 2-0 down and managed to level it before the final whistle.
Disappointing for South Africa at the end. Their game management, substitutions, and goalkeeping were not up to mark and cause this result. They should have comfortably won this match, but things didn't go their way. There's another match ahead, so still have a chance to bounce back. South African girls are talented, but they need to work on concentration and determination. They should believe in themselves that they can do it.

Nigeria was the better team and solely deserved their win, but South Africa having to settle for a draw today shows that they haven't not learnt their lessons from the first game against Sweden a game where they had the lead but eventually lost the game, but they had it worse today, throwing away a 2 goal lead, with just 14 minutes to go plus extra time, It's game over for South Africa, they blew it all today.

England vs Denmark should be an exciting affair, I'm expecting a more clinical England today, unlike the utterly wasteful team we saw against Haiti, although we already know the teams that would emerge from this group.

Disappointed with the outcome from Australia vs Nigeria match yesterday. I was hoping that Australia would win, but despite opening the scoring, they went down with a margin of 2-3. BTW, African teams in general have performed poorly so far. Nigeria is topping the Group B points table, while the other African teams (Zambia, Morocco.etc) have failed to get a single point till now. South Africa did well to hold Argentina to a draw, but qualifying to the next stage would be tough for them. Right now they are behind Sweden and Italy in Group G.
