Yes, I even commented on that during my bets around here. Before the start of the competition, many people were saying that there would be many matches with 10 goals, that the United States and England would easily win the games, but what we are seeing is a much more balanced world cup, which is GREAT for women's soccer, as this shows the evolution they have had during these years, his must have surprised some users here and I hope they are enjoying the games as it is very cool to watch

Today, out of the 4 games, 3 of them had 4 goals, and only one ended in a 0-0 draw, but it's a far from the matches they predicted with lots of goals

For us bettors (at least for me), it is being difficult to predict these results and goals hehehe, but I'll not give up

Nigerian women have excelled in a group that they would have failed out without Hardwork. The worked hard for the qualification, that is why they got it. When they will play against the winners from Group D which will most likely be England, they will be very prepared to not get kicked out from the competition, since they have played some difficult games already. England has not been their normal self; they have not played at the level that thy are known for. If they do not try to improve before they play Nigeria, they may lose the game because of how tactical and physical the Nigerian team is.

When Canada could only draw against Nigeria in the first match and Nigeria managed to beat Australia where it was a surprise it was enough to make the move from Canada even more difficult, but when they lost to Australia it was not a surprise it was just that they lost by a crushing score that was quite surprising. Canada is the gold medalist at the Japanese Olympics, so many predict that Canada and Australia will qualify in that group, but Nigeria's qualifying makes this tournament even more interesting to watch because the winners don't just belong to the strong team.

Of course it will not break the mentality of the Nigerian players because actually just playing a draw is enough to get them through to the knockout rounds, and Ireland is a team that can only draw once and the rest they lose

Wow! I missed out the match. From the replay of the match, Ireland possessed ball more than Nigerian Super Falcons and the Super Falcons played a defensive game and they got the highest "shots on target" and also "shots off target". Ireland Goalkeeper is good. Super Falcons are best in African Football so they have to maintain that standard in the international football games.
Playing draw with Ireland will not kill their moral/zeal. They will do well in their next game. I also congratulate their victory to the next level.

Canada women's team in particular unfortunately had to lose today's game. Canada attacked many times but could not succeed due to which Canada lost against Australia. Meanwhile, Australia's few attacks were mostly successful but Canada had 52% of the ball for most of the match. However, the defenders of the Australian women's team are very strong, due to which the defenders of the Australian women's team countered almost all attacks by the players of the Canadian women's team. But this season the Australian team is very strong as proved against Canada.

To be honest I didn't expect the Japan women team to be a formidable squad and I was quite impressed with their comfortable 4-0 win over Spain. If I'm not mistaken, they have not conceded a goal neither have they lost any of their games. And if care's not taken, they could soar seamlessly into the quarters of the tournament.
 I too had Spain as the favorite considering how their performance of late has been and if there would have been an upset, at least it would have been either a goalless draw or Spain winning by a lone goal, but this was really not something Coach Jorge Vilda( Spain Coach) bargained for. But in all, it was an interesting one. At the end, the Japan side, came saw and conquered.

Nigeria and Ireland women's teams played out a 0-0 draw today, with Nigeria ahead of the two teams on points. Ireland Women's team is not very strong as they have lost both of their previous matches due to which they have 1 point in Group B. However, in today's match there were enough attacks between the two teams but neither team could succeed in the attack for which the match turned into a draw. However, Nigeria finished second in Group B points table with 5 points which gave them good assurance. Nigeria qualified for the knock out stage due to their points lead and the Ireland women's team had to be eliminated.

Australia's 0-4 win over Canada was truly remarkable and they were selected for the knockout stages. Australia topped Group B in terms of points with 6 points which enabled the Australia Women's team to advance to the knockout stages. If Canada would have won today's match then maybe they would have gone to town but unfortunately they couldn't score any goals. Canada's points were 4 where they finished third in Group B but were eliminated after losing to Australia before they progressed to the knockout stages. However, Australia produced a brilliant attack that saw them selected for the knockout stages, much to the delight of the Australian women.

In FIFA Women's World Cup today Japan vs Spain two team match Japan played very well. Japan won this match by 4 goals. Spain played bad from the start of the game. Spain tried a lot to score in this match but Spain could not score any goals.  I placed a bet in support of Spain team in this match, but I did not win today's bet because of Spain's bad performance. The performance of the players of Japan team was excellent. H. Miyazawa scored the first goal in 12 minutes. R.  Ueki scored the 2nd goal in the 29th minute. H. Miyazawa scored the 3rd goal in the 40th minute.H.  Miyazawa played very well in this match.

The first half didn't leave any strong impression. But, the second half showed improvement than the first half. Second half was more strategic and intense, despite it ended goalless. However, Nigeria's performance allowed them to make last-16 of the Women's World Cup. Now they must focus on making further improvements if they wish to go far in this tournament, especially in terms of their finishing skills. Otherwise, there is a risk of being eliminated in the round of 16.

Unfortunately, Canada, which was predicted to qualify from the group phase, failed to do so after suffering a crushing defeat to host Australia, Australia played very well even though, they only relied on counterattacks but it was a very effective counterattack. 4 goals without reply knocked Canada out because Nigeria would qualify with Australia to the knockout stage.

It's true that the two teams have made sure of qualifying regardless of the results in the third match, and Japan, even though they have made sure of qualifying, still plays well by scoring 4 goals without Spain being able to reply.

In this group, the Netherlands looks more confident that they will qualify, because facing Vietnam, which has not shown anything impressive so far, while the United States will most likely face a fairly tight match, even though they are considered a strong team, Portugal still has a chance if they win, but they must extra hard work to get 3 points from the United States, and this is the match for tomorrow which will be highly anticipated.

Thats a remarkable score with only 23% possession, that proves you dont have to have the majority
of the possesion to win a match and Japan were super efficient with te possesion they had.


Yea I was watching on and off, Ireland played well enough - better maybe than the previous games
but yea ball in the back of the net is what counts, I suppose a win today would have carried them
through then ahead of Nigeria?

Just looking at the table I see the Super Falcons in second place behind Australi and ahead of Canada
after they were beaten by Australia, very well done to them indeed.

Republic of Ireland 0 ------ Nigeria 0

Nigeria and Ireland ended the game in a goalless draw. Ireland was just playing for the honor because they were already out of the competition after losing their two past games against Canada and Australia. But they improved today holding the super falcons to a barren draw. The game produced few goal attempts because the two teams were desperate to get a point. The Nigerian team has now qualified with Five points and didn't lose a single game. Before now the Nigeria technical team and players made it clear that they will not underrate the Irish team even if they lost two of their games. Congratulations to the Super Falcons.

Canada 0 ------ Australia 4

In the other group B game Australia whitewashed Canada. The match ended with four goals to zero against Canada. Entered the game as favorites having won a game and played a draw earning four points. The Australia team had three points after losing their last game to Nigeria. The Australian girls have now topped the group with six points and Nigeria is in the second position. There will be a great celebration in Australia now after a devastating loss against Nigeria.

My bet lost on Germany vs Colombia match when I am confident Germany will win then Spain vs Japan here I don't want to take risks because both teams played well in the previous match so I decided to bet on Both teams to score Yes but again my bet lost Spain didn't score. Now my 3rd bet on Canada vs Australia I went with Both teams to score again, Australia has scored 3 goals but Canada has not scored less than 10 minutes the match will be over if this bet loses then I give up and will not bet here again    Somehow almost all matches in the women's World Cup are unpredictable as if they knew that I bet lol.

After checking all the matches in the group stage, my favorites are Japan and Australia in the final both teams look more consistent but just a prediction I will not bet again.

That is not aggressive in my opinion. I witnessed pure energy from but teams while watching them play, the two teams are good and measured their energy during the game was the same, but in attacks and defense, the ladies world cup appears to be more serious than the boys world cup.It's extremely challenging I was astounded by their defense scheme women do better than men, but Germany's players are good before the game, I underestimated Colombia's players. And Colombian players finish 2:1 despite how tight as well as challenging it was to score, they performed admirably. The game is getting more interesting.

Possession does matter if the team does not possess it for defense and constantly uses it for attack. Although if the attack is not coordinated properly then the chance of failure is also high. I would say Japan was incredible on the field and a bit lucky having 23% possession and still winning by a 4-0. This was the first time that Spain had lost so heavily in the world cup.

I don't think they Falcons can do better than they're doing right now, because a draw would still qualify them to the next stage and I feel they don't care who they meet in the next round all they are focusing on is ending this game against Ireland, but if it's England like you said I don't see the falcons losing to the lioness on that encounter.
The both teams are still trying to get a goal in this game, but I feel this encounter would end in a goalless draw or 1-1 draw.

It’s 0-0 at Halftime between Ireland and Nigeria. I think Ireland has been the better side so far. Ireland will beat Nigeria if the current trend persists, these Nigerian girls still have hangover. The only thing going for them in this game is their athleticism. They’re relying on counter attack and it’s crazy. That midfield is ghosting, i don't know what Waldrum is doing. They can’t even advance the ball to Ireland half, they need find a way to  move the ball quicker, these Irish maintain their shape at defense sharply. I think Nigeria have to win if not they’re going to play England in the next round and it’s going to be very difficult for them to progress.

Before Germany's match against Colombia started, Germany were certainly favorites in that match but the performance on the field proved all our statistics wrong. Within 7 minutes, all the stats were messed up. Colombia beat Germany in extra time. Although Colombia took a long lead early in the second half, Popp scored a goal for Germany at the end of the game to bring the team back to parity. Later, their equality did not last long. One such win at the end changed their team's momentum. Many congratulations to the Colombia Women's team for winning a thrilling match against the France Women's team.

The result of  game between Japan and Spain is a reminder that ball possession doesn't win a match until you scoring goals making good outcome of your chances converting them to goals is what matters more.
At the end of play who goes home with the three points is the winner of the match and not who's with the all the ball possession dominating the pitch. Congrats to Japan for a superb win.

Costa Rica vs Zambia, both teams have nothing left to play for, as they both have been eliminated already. while Spain vs Japan will be more tricky match as both teams are fighting for who would top the table, the winner of the group will face Norway, while the loser get to face Switzerland in the round of 16.

Zambia with an early lead against Costa Rica, while it's pretty much an even affair here between Spain and Zambia in the first 10 minutes.
