With every day we are more and more closer to World Cup 2014.
First day: Brasil - Croatia Smiley
Yea baby, can that be better? I think not Smiley
European Brasil, against American Brasil Smiley At least they say that for Croatia, and it is not far from truth when you see form of Mandzukic, Modric, Srna, Rakitic etc etc. First and already great event, one word - epic.

Fifa is the most corrupt sports entity in the world right now. Not only have they let a horrible racist culture develop within there league but the take bribes and do horrible rigging with betting.

I went to the 2010 world cup and the whole stadium BOOED so hard when Blatter came to present the cup to Spain everyone hates him. I've never seen such hate for a commissioner. You never see this when David Stern (NBA) or Roger Gadel (NFL) comes out.

Argentina beating Brazil in there own country will be amazing!!!

To be fair, Sep Blatter has done a lot of good things. But recently, he (as well as his friends) appears to be involved in too many murky things. The 2022 World Cup bidding is a prime example.

You are so true about corruption of FIFA and big sports organisations. Do we really need them? Argentina beating Brazil would be really something! But it would never happen Cheesy

Well we don't need them, but it's amazing entertainment. Watching these athletes do amazing things we wish we could do. The team camaraderie, the fans coming together to support there teams. Plus violence goes down 10% during major sporting events.

It's just sad that greedy assholes control these entities.

Golf is the best. Even though it's rich person sport. It can't be manipulated unless a player throws on purpose. After playing it and watching it live you have a good appreciation. Plus is the only sport that you can get front row with a 30 dollar ticket.

A senior Fifa official’s son was given a job at a private Qatari hospital shortly after the decision to award the country the 2022 World Cup. Pieter D’Hooghe, who is the son of the Belgian executive committee member and medical officer Michel D’Hooghe, was approached by a surgeon at Aspetar hospital in February 2011 and asked if he would start a “visiting surgery” at the clinic. In 2012, he started working at Aspetar permanently and moved with his family to Doha.

guys what do you think about Belgium team ? Do they have chance to surprise ?

every country has a chance to surprise
Yes its a big event and every country can do this any time we have a history of big upsets surely this time we have some good upsets and Belgium is also can do something big

The Belgians will be expected to top Group H, but that is no certainty. They will face South Korea, Russia and Algeria in the group stages, all of which are tricky ties.

I think Portugal will do well to, I'm sure they will have some good support to, and Ronaldo is always getting better lol

Portugal is basically a one man army, with an extreme over-dependency on the shoulders of Cristiano Ronaldo. They don't have much of team co-ordination between them. So... very little chances.

Yeah, Cristiano Ronaldo is very strong recently!

He's always been a very strong player, but he doesn't make the entire team. Can''t rely on him. Plus he starts crying when things don't go his way.

Brazil is very strong of course. Strong team and they are "playing home". I think Portugal will do well to, I'm sure they will have some good support to, and Ronaldo is always getting better lol

Portugal had issues even with the Russian team - I doubt they will do well on the Championship Smiley
