Group E: Switzerland, Ecuador, Honduras, France
Group F: Argentina, Nigeria, Iran, Bosnia-Herzegovina

Balotelli is a liability though. It's easy to piss him off, and when he is angry it'll either make him play better or he become reckless and loses his shit. He gets sent off and does stupid shit quite often. It's a shane he's got such an attitude cos he's a great player.

Well... 100% of the time he gets angry. And 50% out of that time, that makes him play better and win matches for Italy. On the remaining 50% of the time he become reckless and loses his shit. But for the second occasion, we have the other 10 players of the XI.

^^^^ To get in to the QF, England should defeat either Italy or Uruguay. Italy is a much better side, with Mario Balotelli in good form. Uruguay and England are almost equal strength-wise, but since the matches will be played in South America, I believe that the former has more chances to win.

I want United States to upset the world so bad. But I don't think it's going top happen being grouped with Germany and Portugal. Fifa are a bunch of crooks and asshole rascists.

Huh How the FIFA becomes crooks and assholes for placing the US in a tough group? The group selection was done randomly and the event was televised. And for comparison, England is placed in an even tougher group.

Cameroon?
Uruguay?

Honduras hahahah Cheesy

what da fuck man Cheesy

Honduras was a bad choice. But right now Uruguay is definitely better than England. I think England will be kicked out in the group stage by Uruguay. Don't want to discuss too much about Cameroon... don't know much about the team.  Grin

I think Brasil will take it. But it's okay with me whoever wins.

But I'm 100% sure a few certain countries aren't going to win.

I think most people can say they're certain they know more than a few countries that won't win  Cheesy.

don't think Brasil will win, they're going to get far and they're going to be good but they aren't good enough to win the competition
Brasil isn't as good as it used to be..

FORZA SVIZZERA!!!!!!

Switzerland? For heaven's sake I don't think that they will easily qualify from the group stage. They are in a tough group, with France and Ecuador. The matches are taking place in Latin America, and who knows, Ecuador have better odds of beating the Swiss.

Hehe. Every four years it's either belgium or norway or sweden that gets hyped as some sort of surprise contender.

Well... the Belgian team has been strengthened by the arrival of Adnan Januzaj. And they are placed in a very weak group, along with Algeria and South Korea. Let's see whether they will make it to the QF or not.  Grin

Do you guys think that Belgium can be surprise contenders?
Or have they been overhyped in the run-up?

Hehe. Every four years it's either belgium or norway or sweden that gets hyped as some sort of surprise contender.

Sadly the times are over when underdogs could grow beyond their capabilities during a tournament. The top teams are FAR too professional in all regards to let something like that ever happen.

My expectation for the half finals is:

Brazil, Germany, Spain and Italy and either of them has the potential to make it to finale and get the cup.

Though I fear we will see Brazil and Spain in the finale and Germany will fail again.
