Indonesia was removed by FIFA as the host of the U20 World Cup due to the rejection of several government figures who did not want Israel to come to Indonesia to participate in the U20 World Cup event and had become quite a heated debate because this issue, in terms of the U20 World Cup, was football sports event and it should not be associated with the political problems that are currently happening between Indonesia, Palestine and Israel.
I actually have an opinion that with this mistake that was made by Indonesia until FIFA decided to revoke Indonesia's name it would have a big loss impact on Indonesia.
It's funny to see a government that prioritizes politics but forgets the achievements of their own nation's sons.

A few months back, more than a hundred people died during a stampede in Kanjuruhan Stadium in East Java (during a match between Arema Football Club and Persatuan Sepakbola Surabaya). An enquiry by FIFA found that Football Association of Indonesia was partly to be blamed, as they failed in crowd control measures. Indonesia was removed as the hosts for U-20 world cup a few months later. But there is no doubt that government intervention in sports bodies is a big issue all over Asia. Even here in India, there have been several controversies as a result of this.

Some time ago I heard that the U20 world cup failed to be held in Indonesia because FIFA decided to revoke Indonesia's name as the host due to problems that occurred in Indonesia.
Actually it would be a shame if Indonesia failed to host the U20 World Cup because the development of Indonesian football is actually quite good and Indonesia is also one of the countries with a good national football team in Asia.
Until now I have not heard which country will replace Indonesia and I am also still wondering why FIFA was able to pass a decision that Indonesia's name was revoked as the host of the U20 world cup.
Here does anyone hear and know the update on this U20 world cup issue.

They promised to have new rules for the world cup visitors because most people who come to this country don't same religion and traditions that's why forcing people to respect the hard rules is not a wise to move they forced people to somehow respect rules they don't have money but for the visitors who got enough money they can drink alcohol without problems, that's why I hope to don't see Qatar and similar countries hosting any special tournaments
I'm sure fans from the Middle East won't watch too much live at the 2026 World Cup later because they definitely won't feel comfortable when alcohol is allowed to drink freely by fans while watching live

Mutual respect for fellow fans is also very important, usually supporters from Latin America have slightly bad ethics and are very disturbing, I hope security can guarantee the safety of supporters who come from various ethnicities, races, cultures, religions

Everyone should respect each other culture and religious values. I think FIFA should devise some rules where the visitors are allowed to have alcohol and everyone in certain confined area (not in public) while at the same time convincing the locals to bear such acts and ignore if they see some of these things which are not normal to their religion.

Also, the argument that fifa world Cup should not be hosted in an Islamic country or in any Asian country is vague because football is played in these countries and they have the right to host the world cup just like the American, African, and European countries.

You should respect the country's rules after you enter any country and it doesn't matter if that country is European or American whenever you enter the country you accept some rules, but I think when they are hosting the world up they have to make some changes for the football fans who visit these countries.

I quite enjoyed Qatar 2022, I think it was an entertaining world cup, and pretty much all the teams, except Qatar, played really well.

I guess what makes it exceptional is that many people had lower expectations because of all the controversies, but it seems that it didn't matter too much.

Well.. for those who watched the matches live on TV, Qatar 2022 was a spectacular experience. But for those fans who actually traveled to Qatar, it was not a very nice episode. Certain sections, especially unmarried couples and LGBT people faced a lot of discrimination. And all the fans had to spend extra money out of their pocket, as services were priced at a premium. And the less talked about the migrant workers who built those stadiums, that better. They never received any recognition for their efforts, and throughout the tournament the Qataris refused to mention about them even once.

I don't understand this logic. Leave all the controversies related to alcohol and LGBT behind. What makes you think that Qatar 2022 was better than Russia 2018 or Brazil 2014? Personally I believe that the 2014 and 2018 editions were organized in a much better way compared to the one in 2022. And then the horror behind staging the world cup in Qatar. They splashed close to $300 billion in an effort to showcase their wealth, at a time when the children of the 6,000 plus dead laborers were going empty stomach in Nepal and Bangladesh.

We must accept the fact that they did really well. People are always criticising them for no reason

In accordance with its customs and religious beliefs, Qatar enforced strict compliance. I surmise there were no ladies from Qatar permitted to watch those matches live. Prior to the start of the matches, beer was also banned. Despite the fact that the event was still a huge success, I doubt it will ever happen again due to the severe restrictions placed.

The upcoming World Cup will make it easier for European and American fans to get in. They may also be able to obtain a visa with ease and cheaper flights. Fans from Africa and Asia will have to travel a long distance in order to watch these matches and obtaining a visa will not be easy.

LOL.. the same lame excuse again and again. Qatar initially promised relaxed rules for the visitors and then they went back on their word. Initially they were saying that beer will be available during the duration of the match. Two days before the tournament started, they suddenly made an announcement that drinks will be available only for the top-tier ticket holders. If religion was the excuse to ban beer, then why the drinks were not banned for everyone? Reason is very simple. Qataris bother only about money and not about religion.

Regarding the preparation of these 3 Beautiful countries, I think they should do something that will leave us all stunned, because the World Cup in Qatar was very good.

The world cup in America, Canada, and Mexico will be amazing because I think these three countries have enough sports facilities and stadiums to host the world cup and they won't need to spend much money for the contraction of stadiums while these three countries are tourist-friendly, especially Canada and America that's why any visitor who goes to this country will enjoy much more than the time they had in Qatar.
I believe the next world cup that will be hosted in this countries will be one of the best world cup,  I don't see this countries be lacking anything for the world cup.

This countries has more than enough to provide to make the 2026 world cup to become best

The biggest relaxation they gave is to allow alcohol in the state. It is an islamic state and they don't allow alcohol what else is needed.

What's been said is right, these countries have got good infrastructure for sports and there is no need of big spending on renovation. It is to be noted that Canada, America isn't less expensive as Qatar. This means certain level of people will be able to enjoy. Next thing is the travel expenses and ticket cost. With Qatar these are really low and many common people got opportunity to enjoy football. Qatar is very small compared to these countries, so planning for the vacation along with football will be good choice.

I am not sure if that's true. Latin American fans has been to plenty of world cups so far and never banned anyone from anything, whereas middle east hosted it just once and banned it a million times over. We are all aware that teams wanted to wear LGBT armbands to support them and it wasn't allowed right? I mean if you say that "you are in Qatar, so respect them" then why not give the respect back? It's their arm, it's their armband, if they want to do it and you do not allow them, then you do not respect their decision as well.

Expecting respect and not giving it back is the main problem. If Qatar do not want to allow LGBT people, then do not allow them, it's your nation, but if you stop other nations to support, that's disrespecting other nations and their decisions as well. So if you disrespect me and my decision, I am sorry but I will do the same to you as well. Latin American fans never did anything like that to anyone.

When you have endless money, then you want something intangible like fame, world recognition, etc. Otherwise, why are these sheikhs competing in crazy projects (including buying up European football clubs)? It was something from the same area. It's not economics, it's closer to politics where rational considerations don't work.
It is not only politics, or at least it is just a part of all of this, countries which are rich on oil  and which depend on it to sustain their economies know very well that one day such bonanza is going to run out, so they need another source of income for their countries and they cannot wait until that day comes as it would be late at that point, so they are trying to build their countries as touristic attractions and for that they need to spread the awareness of their countries, and Qatar found on the world cup a way to do this, after all there have been studies made which demonstrate many people cannot even find their own country on a map, then how we can expect those same people to know where Qatar is unless they did something extraordinary like hosting the world cup?

If their strategy is such, then it is doubtful - I don’t know how they can lure tourists, for example, from countries with Western European culture. Too big differences. For example, I won't go there even for free.

Indonesia supports Palestine and they don't even have diplomatic relations with Israel. They didn't want Israel to come to this competition (idiots lol) and of course in the end they were denied the championship. It would be very strange if FIFA banned Israel because of the inadequate requirements of another country. The most moronic situation - what were they thinking in Indonesia when they wanted to host this competition? They thought that they themselves would distribute permits to participate in it?
Its not reason why Indonesian removed from FIFA World Cup U20 host due not inadequate infrastructure and security conditions after the Kanjurahan tragedy which resulted in the deaths of 130 fans. Beside has issues about politician reject Israel national due respect for Palestine and Indonesian has got consequence loss participants in FIFA World Cup U20. Should not mixing between football and political but seems different viewed what happen with Russian national team after suspending from UEFA and FIFA competition, not only with their national team but also all their club got suspend until right now.

Ofc it is. Or do you think that if that tragedy hadn't happened, Indonesia would have been allowed to choose participants who can come and who can't? It was a natural and inevitable ban.
As for Russia, I don’t see any problems - all suspensions are absolutely correct and logical. The aggressor country cannot participate in any competitions because participation in competitions is, among other things, economic cooperation, and they try to isolate the aggressor country by any possible means.

To be honest Qatar World Cup was a bad experience in letting a rich country without stadiums host the world cup. They spend lots of money and invested to earn more from it but still, many workers died and many people were unhappy there because of their hosting, however, I guess this time the countries where they host the world cup will not have the same problems as Qatar in 2022.
Honestly, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 most amazing and there are not any problem yet when first until last games and seems last World Cup edition have been success, issues about many worker die is not true and Qatar become most amazing host with single host they can manage well with amazing stadium.

For FIFA World Cup 2026 I don't see have any great stadium looking on MLS League many team playing with bad stadium and used for the other sport, I doubt with United State, Mexico and Canada will be host better than Qatar with good stadium and all player never complaint about what facilities getting when Qatar became the host of World Cup 2022.

Well, in part what you say is very true, one as a person feels the deaths that occurred in the Construction of those stadiums, but it cannot be denied that a tremendous world cup was launched there, apart from everything was very Controlled and it became Widely known that Arab culture and well in fútbol terms things went well, each team showed off in its own way, we all expected more from the other teams or maybe a little more effort, but in general terms in terms of preparing Everything for me It was a Success, and other things, the Way to have fun or Something in that country is limited, but as they say, if you enter someone else's house you must abide by the rules.

Regarding the preparation of these 3 Beautiful countries, I think they should do something that will leave us all stunned, because the World Cup in Qatar was very good.

And I still believe that it is easier to travel and settle in American countries (besides being cheaper) than it was in Qatar.

Getting a hotel room in Qatar during the 2022 World Cup was insanely expensive, according to reports from many of the fans. On the plus side, getting a Qatari visa is relatively easy. But then, there are additional restrictions such as complete ban on unmarried and LGBT couples. Such couples are not allowed to stay together and need to book separate rooms. In the United States and the other two countries, there are no such restrictions. But getting a US visa is going to be hard, especially if you are from one of the third world nations. Mexico and Canada doesn't have too many restrictions on the visa, but these two countries are not going to host a lot many matches.

Unfortunately, it will be increasingly difficult for ordinary fans to personally participate in world cups and cheer on their national teams in the future, the financial costs will be astronomical for ordinary people.
Obviously, only rich fans, who have enough money and free time, and can easily get a visa, will be able to participate in world cups in the future.
In this way, FIFA will probably get rid of problematic fans who cause problems and do not spend much, and will get rich fans who spend a lot and do not cause problems at matches. Is this actually FIFA's long-term goal?

Because I come from Indonesia of course it becomes a hot debate and it's quite sickening to see all the debates on television or the media because all the debates are only about politics and that's politics they don't understand sports they need to do what the majority likes because there will be elections in less than 2 years so that seeking the attention of the electorate is important even though in the end it sacrifices other things for things that are not even important.
The development of football in Indonesia is not as great as what you might get in the media, even in Asia it is still quite behind, so when Indonesia is no longer the host of the U-20 World Cup, it is actually a loss for this country's football, not FIFA or other participating countries because if we have to go through qualification the chance to advance is very slim or even impossible, because the football competition here is not as good as imagined.
If I'm not mistaken, Argentina replaces Indonesia and Argentina has quite an advantage because as far as I know, their U-20 national team did not qualify, so with this appointment, they will automatically qualify and play.
