Infact most of the time. Morocco did surprise the world so does Saudi Arabia in one of their matches - and so does Japan.
The world cup fever was high people did enjoy visiting Qatar and has so much fun there. But not to forget the final too was so fantastic and people did enjoy that.

I believe this is the trend, it is clear that possibly more teams will be able to surprise everyone in the future, because they will be better prepared for the next world cups, and that is a fact, it seems that with each world cup that takes place, more teams (in general) are improving.

I suppose a compromise could be reached in which if a fan can show they have booked a flight and a hotel room already and they have a ticket for one of the matches then a temporal visa could be issued which could last only for the duration of the world cup, however this is just an idea and without a doubt it is going to be problematic to get into the US and assist to the matches, however it seems that the last thing on the minds of the FIFA directors are the fans and their problems as with the exception of Mexico the most recent world cups have been hosted in countries which do not really have a long soccer tradition, and this is a problem.

No One predicted that Morocco will make the history. But on the other hand - I think they will host the initial matches in Mexico and then the important matches in USA and maybe final in Canada.

Qatar didn't issued a tourist visa that easily for nothing, and USA wouldn't issue it for nothing neither. We are talking about one nation that is literally bribing Fifa to do it so they could promote their nation vs a nation that is already troubled with immigrants to begin with because they are a good nation.

I am sure that you could all realize that one nation being a lot better to live in and want to immigrate to versus the other is obvious here. Who would want to immigrate to Qatar where they literally killed thousands to build for world cup, but you would want to immigrate to USA which is a real thing right now. That's the difference between visa applications and a real thing.

Surly - they have been working on better customer services for the non immigrants visas. In our country they have waved off the interviews for the renewal of visa and that is a good step - for the visit visa I am sure they will have easy visa policy. Lots of people will move to the States and Canada. And the asylum rate will also increase.

That the sports which bring colour to the world and bring excitement and amusement to everyone. For a moment all the people in Argentina forgot their worries.

Most of the time people visit to go abroad. They wish to travel and work there but not in their own country.

Keeping in mind the ongoing scandal in Europe about politicians who seemed to have been under the influence of Qatar (a.k.a bribery and lobbying), one could expect some future backlash from European government towards the FIFA when comes to the selection of hosts for the World Cup. I am not an expert at FIFA policies, but I am sure paying for hosting and paying politicians is not part of the legal protocol.

Agreed, unexpected outcomes kept the entire tournament interesting. From the beginning to the last more teams that are expected to win came out earlier. Morocco is really good at its game and gained good support from people around the world, who were once in favour of the top nations.

Came across a video of Saudi players getting threatened by an official for losing a match. I don't know whether that is true or not. If someone have come across the video please post what is being discussed.
