Why does the flat earth idea hang on, even though globe earth has been proven? It's a test. I mean, if people in the modern world of today can fall for evolution, let's see if they can be talked into other ridiculous things, like flat earth.

Earth cann't be flat. It's shape is as like as orange. People believed that earth is flat and Atlantic Ocen is it's limit. But prove that earth is not flat.

Two issues, first issue:

Second issue part 1, you've spammed that spirit LEVER meme like ten times now. WHY DO YOU KEEP SPAMMING A MEME WITH AN OBVIOUS SPELLING MISTAKE?

Second issue part 2, refraction causes a slight change in horizon elevation depending on atmospheric conditions and, attempts to use the spirit level for a "dead on" reading of the horizon may be unsuccessful.

NASA recently partnered with a Montreal company and they both explored the earth. It was shown in VR. Maybe that will answer the question whether the earth is really flat or not.
