I actually watched this all the way through. I had a sneaky smoke, and tbh I thought it would be a good laugh... And it was!
First of all, this is one of the worst documentaries I;ve ever seen, in terms of bias, propaganda and production values. The fact that the majority of the film is based on CGI is the first warning flag, and the second is the lack of narration and the distinct lack of scientific theories, and why and how they are wrong. Finally it has the classic dodgy "epic conspiracy music" and a far too blatant narrative of "you have been lied to, here is the truth!" These are all warning flags that you're about to be told lies.
It was literally just a bunch of CGI with subtitles telling me I was wrong, with no actual evidence to back it up. It also didn't give ANY reasons, motives or evidence for the alternative theories, apart from "an intelligent designer made it all". This leads me to believe the video is a shill, aiming to gain revenue from the demographic of people that have a distrust of government and organised science, and confused religious people.
Anyhow, let me break down some of the key moments in the "documentary"... that seem to be bullshit.
0.00 - Religious bullshit, claiming that TPTB don't want you to believe in a creator. But they don't say why - It seems to be working out quite well for the USA and the Middle East right now?
0.30 - Incorrect claim that there is no evidence for the speeds of our planet through space. Every astronomical observation shows this to be the case, and relativity shows that we would feel no forces acting against us as the acceleration is minimal.
0.54 - Do we wonder about the edge of the "Infinite Universe"? Of course we do, but we don't know that it's infinite. We do know that the edge of the observable universe is 46.5 billion light years away though. Evidence for this includes redshift electromagnetic radiation, amongst other things.
2.00 - No I probably won't be converted, because it's obvious that this "documentary" is already obviously bullshit shill propaganda. In fact I don't think I can watch it again...
2.00-5.00 - Oh jesus kill me now...
5.10 - Apparently the yin-yang symbol is evidence for the sun/moon spotlight theory. No explanation why though, just "it looks a bit like it, right???"
OK I was actually contemplating suicide, I just can't watch the video again, it was funny the first time round, but... nah. Like Columbo might say however, "one more thing..."
16.50 - Now this video clip blatantly shows the moon and sun setting and rising at similar times, in opposite directions, perpendicular to the horizon. This is literally impossible if we accept the spotlight CGI sun and moon shown relentlessly throughout this shitty video. There is no possible way that this could occur if the spotlight theory is correct. If someone can show me how, using a 3d model perhaps, then that would be interesting.
Even with a fucking MSPaint diagram. Come on guys, prove me wrong...
