It's really shame that with Google's advanced technology it can't perform the relatively simple task of filtering out the spam sties that populate the first page of results. These spammers promote the false religion of earth curvature and ignore actual science like the physics of water because they're trying to trick you and scam you. Earth curvature can't be observed or measured; it's a faith based belief system.

Still waiting for notbatman to admit he doesn't perform any experiments himself, has no degree in any science and simply believes what the internet or a few youtube videos tell him and he laughs at us because we simply believe the mainstream scientists when he does literally the same, dunning kruger at its best.

^^^ Since Earth curvature has been observed and measured, it's faith that keeps you believing in a flat Earth.

@odolvlobo,

   Saying the Sun is a spotlight is an over-simplification, you're just knocking over a strawman. The Sun is a holographic projection off of a concave mirror (the dome or firmament) and that's exactly the pattern one would expect to see. Not only that, the animated cycle you've shown appears to be in the southern summer and, it perfectly illustrates how 24-hour light works in Antarctica on a flat Earth; it wraps around.

Get a lighter and a metal bowl and observe the reflection of the light inside the bowl as you move the lighter around, it's not the most accurate simulation but you'll get the idea.

@Darooghe,

   As I stated you're seeing an apparent Sun (not the Sun's actual position) from the perspective of an observer on the ground. The atmosphere creates a lensing effect due to refraction and, perspective along with convergence also effects the apparent position of the Sun or any celestial objects that are visible. The only time refraction doesn't come into play is when viewing an object directly above you at 90 degrees.

The next time you're swimming dive underwater and look up at objects on the surface, again it's not the most accurate simulation but you'll get an idea of how refraction works. Try to grab objects above the water, you'll find they're not where they appear to be.

A close and small object (like sun) at 3000 miles altitude can not explain equinoxes.
Research it!

OK I researched it:

   The apparent position of the Sun during the equinoxes (caused by atmospheric lensing combined with the perspective of an observer at sea level) is consistent with an approximate distance of 3,000 miles as measured directly by a sextant.

Proof your sceince and explain more!
On a equinox sun sets due west and rise due east for every observer. it can not happen for a small and close sun at azimuthal map projection even with atmospheric lensing combined with the perspective of an observer at sea level.

Around the winter solstice, the sun shines on the entire edge of the Flat Earth for the entire day. The claims that the sun works like a spot light or that its range is limited are not sufficient explanations. It looks like this (yellow is day, blue is night, the red dot is the sun):

But there would have to be multiple projectors to avoid seeing partial suns like we see waxing and waning moons. Since we don't see the projector rays, but only the sun's rays, there aren't any projectors, right? If there were only one projector, we would see waxing and waning suns, right?

The crazy life and crazier death of Tycho Brahe,
history's strangest astronomer

   "He lived in a castle, where he kept a rather unusual group of regular entertainers. He employed a little person called Jepp, who Brahe believed possessed psychic powers. Jepp was his court jester, and spent most dinners under the table. It's probably best not to speculate on just why Brahe preferred that arrangement. Then there was Brahe's elk, a tame beast that Brahe kept as a prized pet. The elk met a rather bizarre end, reportedly drinking a lot of beer while visiting a nobleman on Brahe's behalf, after which it fell down the stairs and died. Yes, that entire sentence was about an elk."

So many globe trotters here.

Yet Flat earth lives on ! Cool

Yes, indeed but they are harmless and seems that they will never be able to learn the truth.

Truth always overcome a lie as light always overcome darkness.

I will believe in the Flat Eart theory if you can justify the earth angle in that theory. Let me explain.

Earth has a 23.5° Inclination, and that's how we explain the 24h night in South pole and 24h day in North pole.

https://scienceblogs.com/files/startswithabang/files/2010/06/axial-tilt.jpg

So, in the Flat Earth theory what's the angle? Our planet has an inclination?

The Earth is a stationary plain and the Sun is a small, optically projected object off of a mirrored dome that moves in an circular path above us. It's about 32 miles wide with an altitude of about 3,000 miles according to direct measurement with a sextant. As the Sun does its 24 hour daily cycle, throughout the year it moves closer to the central point at the north pole, then back again. This yearly cycle back and forth creates the various seasons and the changing length of day and night.

A close and small object (like sun) at 3000 miles altitude can not explain equinoxes.

Blasphemy, we don't do research here, we only use youtube videos that contain ''flat earth explained'' in the title, otherwise it's not research. Quit talking about scientific stuff.

^^^ Not that I agree with notbatman...

... but the substance of a scale inside a Faraday cage will be affected by the change in EM influences so as to reflect the same weight for the object when it and the scale are outside. And if the scale is outside, but the object inside, and the whole cage is weighed, the cage, itself, transmutes the EM influences as they are passed from inside to outside. That's why we detect no difference.

Cool

LOL, you are about the same IQ.  So I am not surprised.

^^^ Relativity/Gravity has been falsified by Sagnac and Dufour & Prunier, the rug has been pulled out from under your counter-argument of muh grabity; you've got no valid explanation for why objects fall/sink. As a bonus Sagnac confirmed experimentally the existence of a static aether, it's this aether (a superfine gas-like material) that gets displaced in a vacuum and pushes on objects.

A compass works inside a Faraday cage so clearly it doesn't remove all electromagnetic influences.

So you agree that it removes some 'electromagnetic influences'?  If so, the objects should weigh less inside the Faraday's cages, according to your 'electric field pushing objects down theory'.

^^^ I'm not ignoring anything you absolute twat. Images taken with a fisheye lense are proof you're a fucking retard or a shill, that shit isn't science goofy. You should have the steel wire the astronauts are hanging from wrapped around your neck with one end tied to the back of a truck.

Listen buddy, you are not answering the question. There are a dozen of failed scientific theories, you picked to believe 2-3 scientists that say aether is real and the earth is flat and chose to ignore all the others, you never gave an explanation of why, why did you pick those guys and why do you believe them, what scientific degree do you have to know what they did is real?
