Yesterday, it was confirmed that France international Paul Pogba's four years doping ban have been reduced to 18 months which means that the French man will be eligible to play professional football again by next March. That being said, there's a another report that Juventus are in strong negotiations with Pogba to terminate his contract so he can freely join any other club. I'm curious to know which other top European clubs that would be interested in signing him or is he going to join one of the clubs in Saudi Arabia? What's your thoughts about this news?

That's quite a difficult situation for Juventus Turin, but I agree with you that it doesn't seem as if they really want him back and I understand that.

He was having injuries almost all the time when he played for Juventus Turin. Now he has been out of serious competition for such a long time and in addition to his questionable physical condition, I expect that Juventus Turin will instead try to get rid of him. Maybe it also depends on how much he will be asking in salary. But my guess is that he won't be holding back and instead will try to reap in as much as possible.

He is now 31 years old. turns 32 early next year. I think there isn't much to be gained from him from the point of view of Juventus Turin.
The news is that Juventus and Pogba will agree on a contract termination and it will be done tomorrow as stated by Fabrizio on his social X.

Indeed Juventus do not expect him to return again, he will have many obstacles after coming back especially at an old age of course it will be vulnerable to injury again after a long time not playing.

If Paul Pogba becomes a free agent then maybe that is what is expected, there will definitely be offers from several clubs but it is not certain whether European clubs will be interested again? Or just go to the SPL to boost popularity again?

That is probably the best solution for everyone, but I had to admit that I wonder how much doping there is going on in professional football. I think it would be naive to believe that Pogba was an exception. Instead I guess that he is one of the few who got caught.

Does anyone know why they reduced the penalty at all? What is the reason behind reducing it from 4 years to 1.5 years when someone provenly cheated and took prohibited substances?

The injured Madrid players are David Alaba, Thibaut Courtois, and Brahim Diaz plus Carvajal today. It seems that Ancelotti will have to add several players to replace injured players in the winter. It may take a while, but Madrid must prepare it so that they can still compete in the League and Europe. He only has Lucas Vazquez in place of Carvajal. There is also news that Madrid wants Trent Alexxander-Arnold from Liverpool, he has a contract end in January next year.
Ancelloti just have to manage the team's injury-free players well so as to compete at the highest level with Barcelona now that it's only 3 points that separated the two clubs  with three months to January transfer window it's unfortunate that those key players would miss action possibly for both short term and long term, now that Toni Kross has gone it seems Real Madrid midfield is not as formidable as it was during Kross days and aging Modric has limited impact in the team, hopefully if Trent Alexxander-Arnold is signed definitely he is going to add more depth to their midfield if he is drafted from his usual right back to the midfield.

Ronaldo wants to see De Bruyne right beside him. He wants Al-Nassr to sign him at all costs.

Source: Mundo Deportivo

I mean even if it is an offer like 1 million dollars a week... It sounds really insane after hearing it first.  Sad  But when you remember how rich these teams are, you start to normalize it. There wouldn't ever be a European team that can or would like to afford this amount.

It is just for show of course. I believe De Bruyne will seriously think of leaving next summer. He is a superb player but it looks like he will have an important part of this season as injured. I feel like this is his last season at Manchester City.
These are football fast approaching rumors? Cristiano Ronaldo admired the playing style of Kelvin De Bruyne, because the player in question is the best playmaker in the English Premier League but currently, very versatile in major roles given to him, unfortunately he's been sidelined due constant injuries. Ronaldo playing in Al Nassr jersey and would be very delighted to see Kelvin De Bruyne joining him also in Saudi Arabia. What's this Saudi elite side cooking in the transfer window? Do you even know what it means to add one of the best attacking midfielders to your club?

The big questions pops up, Manchester City willingly to let go of one of their most standout player in past decades? Kelvin De Bruyne is mute concerning his contract renewal in Manchester City, we know he has achieved and completed European football with Manchester City, probably the time has come for him to reach out for new tempting bids coming in from other clubs, would he accept them or remained loyal to play for Manchester City?

It is a good initiative from Ronaldo, he suggested his team to buy a great player who may bring big impacts to the team performance. We know Al Nassr has some top players but they have no playmaker or a pure attacking midfielder who has the ability to control the game and deliver accurate passes. If De Bruyne really joins Al Nassr, I think Al Nassr becomes stronger and may have a chance to beat Al Hilal in the future.

De Bruyne must be positioned on the attacking midfielder. Talisca will be on the right winger, Mane in the left winger, and Ronaldo plays as the striker. I think Otávio won't be needed in Al Nassr anymore if De Bruyne really comes in the next year. Al Nassr can put Otávio on the transfer list, so Al Nassr can have 10 foreign players only.

By the way, currently De Bruyne salary is about £400,000 every week. I am sure De Bruyne will be difficult to refuse Al Nassr offer if they really want to pay him $1,000,000. It is a fantastic amount of money, De Bruyne will never get that amount of money for his salary if De Bruyne stays in European leagues.

This is De Bruyne last season with Manchester City and apparently most likely he will leave Manchester City at the end of this season because until now there was no news De Bruyne is willing to extended his contract with Manchester City and since last summer we have already discuss about his future because although Guardiola personally want De Bruyne to stayed but he was thinking possibility to leave

De Bruyne has been admitted that currently some of Saudi Pro League clubs has showing their interest to him and De Bruyne also said not impossible he will accept the offers from those clubs and regarding Al Nassr want to bought him indeed Ronaldo personally asking to the owner this because Ronaldo is really likes to how he was play in Manchester City and i think this rumour could possibly happend
This rumor has been discussed since last season and everyone also believes that KDB will end his contract and prefer to join the Al Nassr team to be able to appear with Ronaldo. That is KDB wish since long ago who wants to appear with his favorite player and maybe this will come true because KDB seriousness to join the SPL team is very convincing. And Guardiola understands De Bruyne's wishes and will definitely let him go and Guardiola must have prepared players who will later replace KDB position.

I think it's a bit early to leave Manchester City. He's still 33, I think he can play for at least one or two seasons and then he can leave. He's a good player, but he's quite fragile and injuries sometimes prevent him from playing, that's the only reason for me to leave for the Saudi League to finish his career.

I don't think so that Kevin De Bruyne would stay in Manchester city for next year. I sure he will definitely leave the club because Saudi Arabia clubs are just hungry for this guy. They are offering huge money which is good greed for an old player like KDB. Kevin De Bruney has already finished his career in Europe, now he will be able to play another 3/4 hardly. Therefore, he will definitely accept the offer of Saudia Arabia. As a frankly fan of Cristiano like me, Kevin De Bruney also has the same wish to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. So if Kevin De Bruney is really going to Saudia Arabia at the end of the season, then Al Nassar is the best option for him because KDB the assist machine, will get a teammates like CR7 the goal machine.

Manchester City has also not given any positive single for Kevin De Bruyne. That is, there is no such news yet that says that Manchester City is giving a contract extension to Kevin De Bruney. So therefore I believed he would leave the club at the end of the season.

Seems Cristiano Giuntoli is not eager to welcome back him anyhow.
source: https://football-italia.net/juventus-motta-giuntoli-same-5-words-pogba

His 4-year ban is reduced to 18 months, seems next year he will be free to continue his career again. I do not think that this is going to be a tough decision for him because if he actually wants to play football, he will have to let Juventus go. It’s basically two choices for him, if he wants to play football he will have to downgrade in terms of clubs. And if he wants to play for big clubs, he will not play football. So there is really only one choice for him to make., that is if he wants to continue playing football.

I don’t understand why Pogba going to think twice about it. If he is actually able to play in the Saudi league, he will get a huge amount of money which he probably wouldn’t have got in Europe. For a player who has been banned from football because of taking performance-enhancing drugs, playing football and getting so much money obviously does not look bad at all.

That's quite a difficult situation for Juventus Turin, but I agree with you that it doesn't seem as if they really want him back and I understand that.

Juventus it will be a tough decision for him because not only Juventus is a great team, but they are also going for championship, and I do not care how good or bad of a player you are, if you haven't been playing organized football for so long, you are going to be a bit worse, you need to be in shape and he is not in match shape, no matter how much you train, it is not the same as being in the game, you lose focus.

So, he will have hard time getting back and I believe some Saudi league team would be a much better suited for him. Being back with Ronaldo could be great actually, he could pass the ball to Ronaldo just like they used to and would perfectly fit with each other, I feel like that would be something they can benefit together.

He has also said that before he retires, he'll want to playa alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and this could be the best chance to fire up Cristiano Ronaldo with assist towards his chase for 1000 career goals. I want to see them play too, but it's so stupid of City not to cash out from him. He'll definitely make things easy for Cristiano Ronaldo if they play together and I can see  Cristiano Ronaldo scoring 50+ goals of they finally get him signed up for Al Nassr. He's worth th figures offered to him and I'm sure he'll play more than that.

Do you thing Paul Pogba will be signed by any top teams among the European top leagues?

Who knows, his ban is quite ridiculous if you know the situation.
He got positive for a drug when he was in the US.
While the drug was legal in the US advised from an American doctor it is not legal in EU.

But again he has been banned in a weird way.
Never before a football player at 1st positivity was banned for the max of the "detention"

Something is weird in this situation.

United will remain a mystery as everyone expects them to perform tomorrow and yet everyone knows they could fail tomorrow. It has been the same now for a while and can it be expected that they will change? Smiley I guess we agree that they will mess up every once in a while and they won't be competing for the PL title for a very long time.

I don't know if I should call the MU's agonising draw against a Porto that looked much more eager a failure, but I am aware that there are many players who have earned my respect more and more, I was hurt by the departure of Bruno, but at this point something like this is not well allowed, however things can be different when you have management that is not the right one, I personally would say and bet that MU will not go very far, and it is a good team because they have high level players like Garnacho, Antony, Casemiro, but basically this team lacks a good coach.

The era of competition has changed and it is very unfortunate that Man United are far behind other teams in terms of the quality of players and also coaches. It is very difficult to see Man United in the top 4 this season, even I am worried about Man United reputation now which is constantly threatened to experience a more terrible period if they continue to retain coach Erik Ten Hag. For whatever reason he has run out of time to fix the club. I know everything takes a process but when you talk about Man United the word long process no longer applies, because Man United has gone through 1 decade without a Premier League trophy.
When Manchester United brought the Dutch coach to the head of the team, they expected him to win the championship. They even gave up on many players for this. Cristiano Ronaldo was the first of these. He was a perfect player for the team, but he left the team after arguing with the coach. However, Cristiano Ronaldo had rejected Manchester City at the beginning of the year for Manchester United. If he had gone to Manchester City, he would have still shown a perfect performance in the Premier League. However, Manchester United has been in a constant decline with the Dutch coach since he left. If things continue like this, the Premier League championship can only be a dream.

Who has missed  Paul Pogba's absence from football action?
Well, Fabrizio has it that According to top journalist Tariq Panja, there are suggestions that “his four year doping ban has been drastically reduced on appeal”.
After already serving a year or so of his sanction, thier are speculation that he might be back in the next season. If this happens, it's going to be great having him back even though he's 31.
I did miss Paul Pogba and asides me, France National Team did during the European Championship. Have you forgotten Kylian Mbappe made a statement about it? And if you can remember how they played, all that was lacking was Paul Pogba's creativity. It's good to see that he has been granted pardon to reduce the four years ban to 18months. God is good! But then, he'll be back training but no longer with the old ladies Juventus as they're both coming to close agreement to terminate his contract with the club, we do not know what's next but then, MLS seems to be his possible destination. Good luck to him and good to have him back soon enough.

Paul Pogba has just been a player who never delivered to their fullest extent. His start was good, but as time went by, I think he struggled to keep up. Slowly, when so much was expected from him, he started doping, and things just got worse from there.

I don't think he can return to his prime ever, but it would be good to see if he can start playing football again, maybe at the MLS or Saudi, whatever fits him. But he was a really exciting player back in the day, and the football world really does miss him.

Actually there is already an awesome candidate that can be a good fit for that position: Florian Wirtz.  Wink

A short time ago, I made a post related to his being on the radar of top rich teams for a summer signing next year. Manchester City was also among them which was making total sense.

De Bruyne was the main AM in Guardiola's system until getting injured. Now Foden is in charge there. However he hasn't contributed much so far.  Sad  He is mainly a RW of course. If they get Wirtz somehow then it would be a superb addition to the attacking strength.

Florian Wirtz is indeed very suitable to fill the position. but according to the news many big clubs are interested in him. he is an important player for Leverkusen. it certainly won't be cheap for rich clubs to get him.
For a big club like Man City, it won't be difficult for the high price that Leverkusen is definitely asking for. moreover, this purchase is a necessity that will really help improve the team.
But other rich clubs like Madrid also want his signature. both are not weak clubs with a history of extraordinary achievements to date. in the end, everyone is waiting for Florian Wirtz's decision.

This is a lesson to those guys who like a carefree lifestyle, Pogbas's case is light, but it could be severe with many others, they should learn from other players and athletes that doping has ruined what they've worked for and their entire career.

that's the problem with some people. They think you can just leave a carefree life and it wouldn't have any effect in your career. Pogba's case is one that should be a lesson to others most expecially the ones that are using Vudu or some unknown source in addition to thier skills as an athlete. Even these attitude by some players that's not ethical should be backed with some sanction that goes beyond red cards to missing out in upto a season so they will behave better. Now that he's back, he has lost a lot regarding his reputation and he's no longer going to be at his prime again regardless of the effort he puts into place to recover after the ban has been lifted from him. Had it been that he's to serve the complete 4 years ban, coming back would have mean almost an end to his career. Let's just hope that he's learnt his lesson and coming back, he will absent from any form of drugs related stuff.

Many people are still curious about Paul Pogba who has been absent for a long time due to serving a long sentence whether he still fits Thiago Motta's rules, logically we see that his performance has declined and his age has also continued automatically, it is no longer in line with the system implemented by Thiago Motta.
currently Juventus still has the opportunity to sell him to another club in the future if Juventus uses his services again he will sit on the bench throughout the match, so which team will accept his services who are already 31 years old with a performance that has totally declined.
he might not be too useful in the English league or laliga but he's definitely going to shine well if he goes to soudi Arabia and joins any of those leagues. He's just 31 and wasn't a bad player while he was still playing.  He might not necessarily play the way he use to while he didn't take the break but he will definitely outplay a lot of the over hyped players that are still in the league.

Will Juventus want to keep him in the team? That's likely not going to happen and like you've said, if he is allowed to remain in the team he might stay too long on the bench for most of those games. Juventus have started looking for solution to release him out into other clubs and I'm certain teams are very much ready to take him into Thier squard. Instead of some of these weak Manchester United players, I even prefer to have pogba in the team and surprisingly, he might make a better impact that these tied players.
The release would happen if both parties agreed to it, meaning that Juventus wouldn't want to pay his salary when he leaves, so they can't terminate his contract, and Pogba needs to agree to not take a dime if he ends up with something, he needs to have a guarantee that he will be at some good club. Dude is young, I am sure that he will find some club for himself, maybe it would be in Saudi league, or maybe it will be somewhere else. I think it is not impossible for him to find a team at bigger leagues, top five leagues do have bad teams too.

But there are other teams, like for example maybe Juventus wouldn't want him anymore but Como might, or maybe real or Barcelona may not want him but Sevilla might etc etc. These type of transfers could happen and if Juventus lets him go for free and he doesn't want huge salaries from anyone then he could still play at the big five leagues, only for worse teams than he is used to. United could still get him lol, since they are a bad team Cheesy.

Pogba is a player who is expected by many teams because of his abilities and even Mbappe once said that Pogba's presence did not make him have to work hard because he was always spoiled with measured passes from him when defending the French national team. Luckily his sentence was reduced to a lighter one after getting an examination and even so he had to work hard to regain trust.

This is a lesson for any athlete without exception because using doping will ruin their own careers as has happened to several other athletes. Intentionally or not doping has ruined the careers of most football players especially because if caught they will definitely get punished.

De Bruyne wasn't stable last season, so I think it will be a big mistake for his career to sign a new contract when he is not even fit yet. There is no need to rush contracts when there is many doubts and beside, we have seen a player sign a new contract few days to the expiry of the previous one, so that doesn't mean anything, he can choose to stay if he wish and he can renew the contract immensely they finish the league.

Quote

I remembered when he said this of going to Sauidi Arabia if offered big money, he said many players are there for the money and he dare not reject it too but I think what they win this season will depend on if he is going to stay in Manchester City or not because I can tell you, the guy is good but no recognition with trophies and if you are good in making football skill in the pitch without trophies and recognition, you better be making money along so you don't lose.
