Paul Pogba situation is quite complicated at the moment after he was involved in doping, although he continues to deny that the use of doping he did was accidental but I think the punishment given is actually appropriate because after all we all want athletes who are clean from cheat, Pogba is lucky enough that his current sentence has been reduced from four years to 18 months, So there is still an opportunity for him to improve his current career
Pogba is an established name in football, though what he did was disappointing, a reduced sentence is a long way to go to calm him. For him to have continued to deny the allegation and also pursue it to a reasonable point to the extent that 4 years ban has now been reduced to a 1.6-year ban could mean a lot.
I can't side with Pogba due to his way of life but I can insightfully pick that he might have committed it unknown. This can only make him have a valid case with the last judgement, those attending to this case are not fools but professionals. If I were him, I would stop it right there because, judging by the time the ban started (the first day of a positive test) and now, he has almost completed it, it's just a few months to go.
This is a lesson to those guys who like a carefree lifestyle, Pogbas's case is light, but it could be severe with many others, they should learn from other players and athletes that doping has ruined what they've worked for and their entire career.
