Yes Onana was a very good goalie before moving to Manchester United, he holds the record for most clean sheet kept in the EPL so far this season and also won the November save of the month, but I’m afraid his errors has overshadowed his good performance at the club. Manchester United fans are questioning his ability as a goalkeeper, his errors in vital matches can't be overlooked simply because he hold he highest number of clean sheet. I think Onana should up his game if he still wants to keep his job at the club.

I saw his Instagram story this morning and I just smile, the picture he posted was epic and not disrespectful but if you watch yesterday's match, anyone would have understood the message he passed. Onana is good than some goalkeepers in Premeir League but the performance I'm seeing in him isn't what he has done in Manchester United, it's what he has done for Inter and his career, if you ask me his presence in Manchester United, it's not good but not bad but that doesn't mean he can't be change.

In football, a player that play brilliantly with a team, might be totally the opposite with another club. Onana isn't the exception but he managed to find some stability in Manchester United comparing to his old mate Maguire where you find infinite compilation about his fatal mistakes.. Onana might not continue for a long time with Manchester United in my opinion and he deserves to get another chance in another reputable club if this happens one day.
Meanwhile, Manchester City was surprised by the defeat against Manchester United in the end of the game and Guardiola will have health issues after these catastrophic failures this season!

If you see what Salah said in a recent interview that said if he was dominant out rather than in, signalling that he might leave Liverpool even though he intends to stay at Anfield, Salah has experienced a salary increase in the previous contract extension and he is as the highest paid player at Liverpool at this time, so I think salary is not the main problem that hinders contract extensions, unless maybe Liverpool wants to cut his salary given his 32 years of age at this time.

As for the not yet-renewal of Trent Alexander Arnold contract, he reportedly wants be the captain positions as a condition of the contract extension, so that it is a complicated situation for Liverpool because on the one hand they also want to keep Van Djik in the squad and guarantee his position as captain at Liverpool.
Three Liverpool big stars in talk currently due to their contracts ending at the end of this season we have few reports Liverpool management in talk with Trent Alexander-Arnold as Real Madrid is also interested to sign him which is worrying them so they are trying to have extension, but things are not working while two stars are not under any discussion which is also interested but as situation going most chances we will be having two players will leave and Liverpool management will be able to secure only Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Mohammad Salah wants increase in salary which is not possible for the club so he could be left for the Saudi League while Van Djik is having no interest to go for more he wants to go for any other club which could be into his home country, so things are pretty clear about, but officially announcement will become after end of January window.

Really want Liverpool’s owners FSG to open their wallets in January. Cheapskate bastards barely spent anything in the summer. The title is there to win if we strengthen in January.

I think Man City are out of the race now and Arsenal are on the verge of slipping away. Chelsea are there but they have a mediocre defence and a crap goalkeeper. I think if we buy a left back and a midfielder nobody will stop us. Surely the owners will spend.

Recent reports in Manchester suggests that Manchester United have decided to put Marcus Rashford up for sale. According to the statement, it's part of the club's "cultural reboot deemed necessary to transform the club after standards were allowed to decline in more than a decade."
Rashford have been the club's highest paid player for for too long but the England international have failed to contribute as much as he receives. Do you think this decision by the club management is a good one or do you think it might likely backfire and leave them in regret? Let me read your thoughts

Previously in the past few seasons maybe I would oppose the decision if Manchester United sold Rashford but for now especially seeing the performance he has done in the last few seasons which has not made much change or increase in performance I think this could be a wise decision and not only Rashford but also several players must begin to be overhauled by Manchester United now because indeed their performance has not increased or seemed to decline making overall Manchester United not develop.

He is currently priced at 45 million for the sale and obviously this is a fairly significant decrease in terms of value especially when compared to previous rumors for PSG who have prepared fresh funds of almost 100 million to bring Rashford from Manchester United.
In the end, it seems that Manchester United always have problems in transfers because they are sometimes always fooled and spend a large price for a player but when trying to sell a player they always lose money and this is not the first time something like this has happened to them.

He deserves everything the club decides on, Rashford has been a really bad investment for the team when we look at the long run in Manchester United and just how he has not proven any clutch moment recently. Selling him is the best option for the team if they want to build back a strong base, they got lot's of talent in the team and keeping Rashford there to occupy space and create less input is not deserving, giving him to a less club division might help rebrand him, still not sure if any other Premier League team will want to sign him or best for him going to Saudi, at least he can earn more and as much farm the league.

Real Madrid's coach is managing the players well. If Vinicius and Mbapp get injured, then Arda will play a lot as a starter. Also, if Rodrygo gets injured, it opens up space for Arda to play more. The young player who is in the worst situation is not Arda, but Endrick, who has not even played at least 5 minutes in most games. Arda will have a place as a starter soon, but in Endrick's case, I doubt very much that he will have a place at Real Madrid. In my opinion, Endrick should accept being loaned to a Premier League team.
In my opinion, Real Madrid needs to keep Arda Guler for urgent substitute because he is talented player. In the future he will be one of the best striker in the world. Therefore it will be good for Carlos Angelotti to keep him as a second options. Many players of Real Madrid have already joined the injuries list, the absence of key players can impact the performance of Angelotti team. So Arda Guler should not be kicked out from the Real Madrid squad. Arda Guler can be very beneficial for Real Madrid in the role of substitute player. This far far Edrick is also a very good player but I think he will not get much time to play because Real Madrid has many spare players who can contribute much better than Edrick.

Yesterday match was very good but I think we all can agree that many players need replacement otherwise Amorim wouldn't have bench Rashford, Gernacho and Casemiro. This is how it should have been, you don't have to force connections that is not working, this is whatcoach don't want to practice and as long as there is no improvement, they will suffer the consequences but I'm glad Amorim see to it, replace the ones that are no longer effective.

I’m sure Manchester United is not the only club in the Premier League that’s interested in Tyler Dibley. He’s a very talented player but 70 million is expensive for a player who’s not going to immediately get a starting spot in the team. Southampton are either being too greedy or are simply taunting clubs who want to sign Tyler Dibley.
According to Russel Martin, United cannot get Tyler’s left foot for 21 million lol.
Chelsea is also reportedly interested in Southampton's young talent. He is a player with speed and the way he runs while controlling the ball is extraordinary for his young age.
MU certainly has the ambition to get him, but with the funds provided, the club has clearly rejected it.
The high price asked is certainly for the effort so that the player can remain on the team and is willing to extend his contract. Southampton would lose a young player like him.

He's gradually developing into a better player and such quality would definitely be admired by several big club, especially Manchester United that are in a transition stage and needs younger and proven talents that would replace underperfoming players. It's not going to be easy getting such player that's in high demand by several top clubs, the quest for him alone would make his price increase and based on how well the plays in his current team, they'll try as much as possible to hold on to him or sell him for a higher than the initial proposed £21m. I see several news saying that Southampton would demand a fees thats roughly 70m but i doubt they (Manchester United) would pay up to that amount for him, the figure is too much for Dibley and i feel the price is overhyped therefore Southampton would have to reduce the offer they're demanding if the want to cash in on him.

When a team has a faulty defense, it could affect the performance of the goalkeeper. Manchester United's poor run has affected his motivation. It seems he looks scared and jittery in some games. For me, I would have suggested that the club should keep him till the end of the season to check if his performance will improve. Having this number of clean sheets shows that the Cameroonian has potential.

Since his impressive performance in the 2022-23 season when he scored thirty goals in fifty-six games, Rashford has not been up and doing. I also think that his pay is no longer commensurate with his performance. I think Amorim doesn't want to work him so he has to leave. Except for clubs like PSG and the Saudi Professional League, I don't know if any club can afford his huge pay.

It seems like Manchester United has already completed the signing of Diego Leon.  Smiley

I have never heard of the name of this 17-year-old LB. But it is a really cheap signing of course. It would be very profitable too in the long term if he turns out to be a wonderkid. It isn't a common thing to see the Red Devils paying low sums like this though.  Grin  Jokes aside, I hope Amorim would be a big help for this team to make reasonable signings. Because they have spent tons of money on many useless players so far.
From what  I have read and the clips of Diego León I have watch so far, I will say Manchester United are very lucky to get such talent for a relatively cheap price. Diego León is regarded as one of the promising young left back of his generation and I must say Manchester United sporting director did a very good job scouting the player. I am confident that with Ruben Amorim as head coach he will surely utilize and bring out the best in Diego León.

Before Onana moved to Manchester United he was certainly among the best goalkeepers in the world and has been proving that since his Ajax days when they were knocking out big clubs out of the champions league. David De gea was a great goalkeeper and servant to Manchester United but was definitely passed its best in the last two to three seasons in Manchester United Jersey.

As for Maguire, he has proven today that this formation by Amorim will favor him as he wouldn’t get exposed too much, today he had his battle with Halaand and he kept Halaand silent all day which was a good sign after returning to the team. For now both players haven’t done much wrong

Man United are rumored to be interested in Tyler Dibling from Southampton. Tyler Dibling is 18 years old and Man United are ready for £21 million. Southampton management has actually proposed a new contract for Tyler Dibling but they have not yet reached an agreement. If he leaves then Sothampton want a price tag of more than £21 million. Because reportedly he is also wanted by many German and Italian clubs.

I don't understand what was wrong with Salah. The term of his contract is known, naturally, in almost every interview he was asked about the future, so there is nothing wrong with his sincere answer. I think Liverpool were dragging their feet because they felt they couldn't afford him. That's what led to this situation.
I hope that maybe the club and the player will find some kind of intermediate solution, like a one-year contract with or without an extension option.

As regards to Salah contract situation at Liverpool, it will be right for Liverpool to offer him a contract extension with an improved salary. Salah has been their standout player for years, consistently contributing to the growth and success of the team. Salah has consistently delivered at the highest level both in domestic and European competitions. His goal scoring record, creativity and work rate has been instrumental in Liverpool success under Klopp and Arne Slot. By extending Salah's contract Liverpool will secure a proven performer and solidify their position at the head of the EPL table.
Extending Salah contract will be a smart move in my opinion, because after all he is one of the mainstay players who has made a significant contribution to the team so far, but if we talk about the possibility of extending the contract with a better salary, I think it will not happen, because after all he currently has the status of the highest paid player at Liverpool, so the possibility of this will not happen unless Liverpool plans to cut his current salary considering his age is no longer young.

It would be difficult if neither one of them gave in. Salah is no longer young and Liverpool feels that his salary should not be as high as before. While Salah may still feel he can make a significant contribution, so he hopes to get a decent salary in the extension. There could also be a consideration that Liverpool could possibly get a replacement for Salah, a younger player with a smaller wage than Mo Salah.

I know Salah is not young anymore, but he's the only one who carried his club.

Believe me, Liverpool ain't nothing without him. His 350k weekly salary is nothing compared to the his contribution to the club. Also, the majority of Liverpudlians totally disagree to not extending his contract.

You can get other players to replace him, but no guarante the new player can carry the club like him.

Tyler Dibling is a promising young talent. For a player that don't play regularly for his club his price tag is relatively on the high side. Irrespective of the teams monitoring his situation at the club, I don't think he is worth that amount. Southampton are not ready to part ways with their young talent because if they really want to cash out in him they would have put a reasonable price tag for the player.

Liverpool problem will begin from the selling key players in the team, like losing Salah and Arnold. Salah is just 32 years old, i don't think he is old enough not just from knowing his age but what he brings to the team is something that majority of players currently will find it difficult to do. Salah is on the same level of goals with a young star like Haaland, with 13 goals to their name, same Salah currently is one assist down from equally being in the same level with Saka, with this stats what should hinder him from still receiving his maximum pay. Using age to judge on his input is never worth it, if the club decides not to retain him then he should join the Saudi and make lots of money before retiring.

Maybe I should be made merit source in the gambling section so I can merit quality gambling post like this  Smiley. I'd rather ignore than argue 9mor should I say have a conversation with half backed football fans who watch football with lots of hate and bias.

The post made me smile good. I must say that I fell in love with Harry Maguire today,  maybe he'll deserve contract extension after this game. Solid performance. Much I'm to say but I have to keep my thing brief.

Sometimes I feel like the discussions here or rather most people here are actually analyzing football base on what games they stake and if they lose they don’t appreciate any other thing again, some of them analyze with hate they have for such player or luck. While others simply just can get past the ex players.

In the case of Onana many people continue to bash him even though he has been excellent this season, he is definitely right among the best as he was years ago. De Gea was excellent but definitely not worth it now. Having him as a backup wouldn’t be bad but his wages were definitely not for a player on the bench.

As for Maguire, he seriously deserves praises on how he has actually handled the criticism many have given to him, he is an elite of a person in character, this was just a minimal of what Sancho was shown and he ran to the media, right now I want a contract extension for Maguire

Liverpool could sign a young player with a lower salary than Salah. They have tried something similar before. They paid 75 million euros for Darwin Nunez. And now they can pay 120 million euros for Gyökeres. But Salah is very good statistically. I don't think it is the right choice to look for someone better than him when he is producing very good statistics. Salah is the best in this team. And he deserves a good contract.

Liverpool should make the right decisions and not regret their actions later. Sallah wage is big but he is also doing big things for the club, and he deserves it. Last season the Suadis made an offer to Sallah, but he refused it because he still loves playing for Liverpool and believes in them. It will be a big disappointment to him if his contract is not renewed or they cut down his wage.
