Pep will be responsible for this, therefore he did not leave Man City and is ready to prove everything. Pep will not let this losing streak continue.
The manager is always the one who feels the most pressure, the players cannot be sacked, but the manager can, i am not saying that there is any chance in hell that Pep gets fired, but he has a lot of work to get his serial winning team back in hunting mood. The verdict on the 115 charges is expected in no distant time, i don't know if this is playing in mind of the players, knowing the verdict is so close, i am not saying City is guilty or that they will be found guilty, but i hope the mental worry has not gotten into the heads of the players.

Guardiola is a genius and he knows it, but fact of the matter is that he is still a human being and he can lose! And he does.

But I ask myself what his next stop will be. Will it be a new club or a national team?

Personally as an ambitious man who has managed the great club teams in the world of football and as build or polished his portfolio over the years as one of the greatest managers of all time I think he will like to cement that status further by taking a national team role. Guardiola himself had hinted on one day been the coach of his country Spain as he believe it would be an honor but right now I don’t think Spain need a coach at the moment because of the success of the current one, as for Brazil the role is somewhat tricky as the national team fans still prefer their own country man to manage them.

Should Pep guardiola manages a national team and wins an international silverware then that will be the icing on the cake for his stellar career and will definitely place him as the greatest manager of all time, something I think he hiddenly cherishes. Moreover if not national team I don’t see him taking any coaching role.

If you look at the leagues he wouldn’t be moving to any new league aside the ones he has simply been too and he is such a man that he will never take a rival job so I think club football managerial role is done for and either a national team manager or a federation president role or even leaving European football to other continents

But the guy is a football junky, he said it himself when he was asked whether he considers stopping his career and whether he believes that Klopp will come back one day as a club manager. He is 53 years old now and it is hard to see him stop being a coach altogether. It is far more likely that he will become the coach of the Spanish national team. In regards to potential clubs, it is indeed true that once you trained Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City, there isn't really anything else to go for and as far as I know, Real Madrid is not an option due to the rivalry.

I think the Swedish striker is exactly the type of striker that Manchester United is looking for. He is having a great year at Sporting Lisbon. And he can continue to score until the end of the year. He has scored over 50 goals so far. If you want to get Gyökeres, Manchester United will have to pay Lisbon a huge transfer fee. Because Manchester United is not the only team that wants to sign him. Of course, we should also mention the factor of manager Amorim. Maybe the Portuguese manager can convince him.

What are the chances of getting him? Bringing him would mean letting players like Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee leaving the club for good. They're not good enough quality players who can play for Manchester United at a top level. Getting him this January transfer window would be tough. The coach has no such plans to force him out from the club,he has so much respect for Sporting Lisbon.
One of Hojlund and Zirkzee must be sacrificed, if Ruben Amorim is interested in working with Viktor Gyokeres again. Viktor Gyokeres will certainly be the hottest property in the upcoming transfer market, so of course the competition to get his signature will not be easy. Sporting CP will be happy to release their best asset, if they get a tempting offer for their striker, which of course is not cheap.

Man United chances of recruiting Viktor Gyokeres in the January transfer market are quite slim, there are many obstacles, besides having to release several available players first. However, it is possible that Ruben Amorim will try his luck with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. Overall, I think Man United current problem does not only lie in their attackers, the back line and midfield also need to be overhauled.

Indeed, Man City's performance is really bad, even this time they were slaughtered by Tottenham again and again, losing in 5 consecutive matches, it's irony and a new bad history for Pep Guardiola. Man City must find a backup that is indeed competitive, ready, and ready to strengthen the club. Moreover, rumors about Rodri's departure are increasingly emerging, although it is unknown whether it will really happen or not.

Source: Manchester City midfielder Rodri

But, I'm not really sure that Pep will let Rodri go, especially considering Man City's current condition. Let rumor be spreading and make this transfer market more exciting.  Grin Grin
Rumours have it that Manchester City's current poor results is as a result of Rodri's absence from the team as many believes the Spaniard is the engine room of the team and one of the major reasons they've been successful since he arrived the club so I don't think Pep Guardiola would want to lose such player. Real Madrid is the most successful club in the world so it's very normal for a player to want to want commit his future with them but considering the recent fallout between Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr and Rodri, I don't think the Spanish and European champions would want to bring the Rodri to the club.
Manchester City has suffered their 5th defeat in all competition now it has drawn the attention of people to that pointing hands on Rodri as the engine room of the team, If what is been rumored turned out to be true I don't see Pep Guardiola letting him join Real Madrid unless he intend to lose his job because his team is not getting better soon if they continue losing matches.
And you have a big point in the case of the fall out that you mentioned, Ancelotti cdn not afford to start another war unless he wants Vinicius Junior to leave Real Madrid to another club that's when he can think of bringing Rodri to the Real Madrid team.

Every team is looking to strengthen their squad a bit but i think Manchester City really needs to add more players and the likes of Wirtz is what they need because they lack creativity in their midfield and it gets worse when De Bruyne is not around so bringing in Wirtz could make a difference but they have competition from Real Madrid which is a team that everyone wants to play in so it will not be easy for Manchester City to sign Wirtz. I am sure some teams might also join the race soon.
Well, Manchester city have been not in good form due to the lack of the their crucial players. Their crucial players like Rodri have not been able to play due to injury. So I agree with you that Manchester city needs to sign something new I mean Wirtz. He is such a wonderful player his quality is impeccable. Probably he can play with pep boys. Despit Wirtz has not only attracted Manchester City to adopt him but has also made Real Madrid and Bayern Munich eager to sign him. Apart from Manchester, Madrid and Bayern Munich are also very determined to sign Wirtz, even Bayern Munich has made a bid of 100€ million. Now let's see who takes the initiative to sign Wirtz.

But anyway you are right that Manchester City can give their team a boost by signing Wirtz. Because Manchester City now needs new players. Kevin De Bruney may also could leave the club for next season and Rodri is also injured. So signing new players in winter can give a lot of boost.

Manchester City was a rich team and I think nothing has changed they are in a team where they can spend too much money like many other teams but the question about Manchester City and their palyes is how thy cannot hire some superstar palyers like they do in Arsenal and some other teams like Macnshter United but still Manchester City couldn't hire palyers Guardipla need and this made Guadiola to even talk about this.
Manchester City extedned his contract with Manchester City and this is how he said he is gongi to stay with even is the siation is not good in this team but they also need to hire some palyers and give Guadiola enoghu tools in Manchester City to have better performance.

In the past, Victor Osimhen had made clear his intentions to play in the English Premier League but his desired destination was Chelsea but since the London club couldn't meet his financial demands during the summer, a move to Manchester United I think is possible. Joshua Zirkzee since he arrived Manchester United have struggled to announce himself so if he'll be sold to make space for Victor Osimhen, then i think it'll be a great move for Manchester United. Under new manager Ruben Amorim, I think Victor Osimhen will flourish effortlessly.
I agree with you. It is well known that Victor Osimhen was looking forward to playing for Chelsea before the deal was cancelled, I think Osimhen really wants to play in the English Premier League. It will be good for his career if he comes to a more competitive league and he is able to perform. Victor Osimhen’s physicality, pace and clinical finishing makes him an ideal striker for the Premier League, it is important for Osimhen to choose the best club to join. If he makes the mistake to sign for a “wrong club” just because they are a big club he will regret it. Manchester United needs Osimhen but Victor Osimhen do not need Manchester United.

This is just a mere speculations, and even though it might be possible that Rodri might said that, but I am very much positive that it's not now, not even three seasons to come, because Manchester city is very much aware of how important Rodri is too them, so letting him go to real madrid wouldn't look ambitious on their own part, so I believe that before something like that is even considered, it would be that Rodri will have past his prime, which is like three to four years time from now, but as for now, it's just speculations, nothing more.

Because we all know how important he is to this Manchester city side, just because of his absence due to injuries, look at how they are struggling, so I believe that Manchester city isn't stupid to that extent of letting him go when they all knows that he is the brainbox of the team.

Rodri is one of the main players who is always relied on by Pep Guardiola, the absence of this player has quite an impact on their performance in the last few matches. I am sure that Rodri will stay with City, at least for the next one or two seasons. Moreover, Rodri is one of the key players in Pep Guardiola's squad. So far we can say that whatever is spread in the media is all just speculation, or maybe just rumors linking Rodri to other clubs such as Madrid. Moreover, Madrid actually has the option of players in the same position as Rodri. Unless, Madrid does release some of its players and then tries to bring in Rodri. However, is it possible that City will release him before they get a player as an ideal replacement. I think this is very doubtful, even if Real Madrid is really interested in bringing him in. Moreover, the transfer window is still quite long. So, like other professional players, I am sure that for now Rodri is only focused on recovering from injury and returning to the main team, especially since his presence is really needed at this time to help his team which is experiencing poor performance.

The arrival of Amorim certainly makes the Management have to understand what he wants. I heard that Amorim will move a lot to strengthen the team in this transfer season. Reportedly, Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diomande will soon join Amorim at Man United. Actually, Man United competes with Man City, but Man City's problems make Ousmane not want to take much action with his future.

It seems that Ruben Amorim intends to bring some Sporting players to join him at Manchester United because Sporting has some good players in it, proven when Amorim trained this club the players could fit in very well with his coaching scheme so Ruben Amorim really wants to recruit the players needed to be able to build Man U club. Not only Ousmane Diomande who is being targeted by MU, it is known that Ruben Amorim is also targeting Sporting striker Viktor Gyokerez, a striker who is quite productive at Sporting and as we know Man United's front line is not very good at the moment.

We will feel strange with Man City's result. That's because so far Pep has been able to perform well and does not have a bad record like this year. With great financial backing and fulfilled players who want to make Pep like the perfect angel. But this season is a little bad, Pep has struggled to compete in the EPL and UCL. Man City has difficulty without the ball, Pep's strategy has been read by Man City is difficult if he gets high pressing from the opponent. In fact, I saw that Man City's defense was very weak when losing to Tottenham. The player injury factor also makes it difficult for them to develop the game. This condition does not seem to make fans and management angry, I read that Pep's contract will be extended.

There's no excuse for losing as Tottenham too weren't with some of their best players and they brought in young players and still they defeated Manchester city again. What I think is happening is what always happens to Pep Guardiola that's why I was suprise he extended his contract at Manchester city although it was just for another year. Pep Guardiola has a record of dominating everywhere he goes to for some years but other managers soon begin to figure him out and he doesn't have a plan B. The premier league managers has figured him out just as they did in La Liga and in Germany. His time in the premier league should be over by now as he isn't dominating their again.

We should stop exaggerating players' market values; Wirtz isn't worth anything close to €100 million yet; he only had one good season and a good performance in the EUROs, but he hasn't done much this season to justify that price tag, and Bayer will not let him join another team in the middle of the season; what Pep desperately needs is DM backup for Rodri so they don't have to rely on him too much.

Wirtz was the best player in the Bundesliga last season and before that he was regularly included in various versions of the best: the best player under 17, then under 19, he also gets into the symbolic teams of the Europa League, the Bundesliga of different years, the best assistant of the German Cup last year.
He consistently proves that he is much above average, it is obvious that he is worth at least 100 million, by modern standards this is an ordinary amount, nothing special.

I think the player is going to be actually at a loss. Because at one side he is with Manchester City which is arguably one of the best teams in the world right now and on the other side if he does move he might have to go to Manchester United which is not that stable. But I think it is better to actually move to a team which is going to give you good playing time instead of winning trophies without him that is not giving you good enough playing time. Yes, you are winning trophies but what is your contribution? But going to Manchester United obviously does have its own risk. Any player going to Old Trafford will only have to hope that the team is going to improve and bring good results. It is literally a leap of faith.

The provision of the new coach of Red Devils does look clear. But that is something we have said about Manchester United coaches previously.

Yeah! It was reported yesterday that Paul Pogba and Juventus have mutually agreed to terminate his contract at the club following his return to football after serving over a year ban from football related activities. The French midfielder will now have to get another club for himself ahead of first quarter of next year when he'll be able to play professional football again.
About a potential return to Manchester United, I think that decision will be left for the new manager of the club Ruben Amorim to decide of he'll want to work with Pogba or not but if he for any reason decides to sign him to Manchester United, I think it'll be a good transfer deal for the club

Well, the thing about Pogba is something that is very recurrent, I would say that he still has a lot of opportunity to do things better and that some team wants him, for example MU, Chelsea, any of these teams could interest him because he plays very well, to me personally it seems that he is a great player, but he has a lot of temperament and that is something that harms him, it is a shame that players like this do not give him the opportunity to be in a good club, because he has a lot of quality and I am sure that he will go for it.

Paul Pogba told to sign Arsenal contract as Man United return decision made

Quote
The 31-year-old terminated his contract with Juventus last week and hasn't played a competitive minute of first-team football since August 2023 after being banned for four years following a failed doping test. However, following an appeal, the ban was reduced to 18 months with Pogba available to resume training in January ahead of a return in March.

Pogba arrived at the United academy ranks in 2009, making just seven appearances, before leaving for Juventus in 2012 on a free transfer. His performances in Turin earned him a lucrative move back to Old Trafford for a then-world record £89million.

If Pep does not agree to extend his contract with Man City, it is like he left Man City with a bad name. Now his job is to create momentum for Man City's revival. If it is felt that the points are far enough from Liverpool and it is difficult to catch up, then they can target other trophies. Pep will be responsible for this, therefore he did not leave Man City and is ready to prove everything. Pep will not let this losing streak continue.

Some would argue that Man City's recent performance has been bad without Rodri, and if Guardiola also thinks so, he will desperately try to keep Rodri from leaving, and as I know, when Guardiola extends his contract he has a request for Man City not to sell Rodri. But if Rodri decides to leave the door open to Real Madrid, I don't think Man City could prevent him from leaving because when the player is no longer comfortable that could create tension in the dressing room.

But still, all of this is still a rumor, and until Real Madrid actually makes an official offer or gives another statement, then the speculation will keep growing.

So many players want to go to Real Madrid according to the media. Even if it's true, I don't think Rodri will leave as long as Pep is still in charge. Even some players who leave come back to City because Pep is a very good coach. Maybe things will be different if Pep goes to Madrid, though I doubt it will ever happen.

Speaking about Pep, I checked out Twitter and it seems like after losing to Tottenham the tag #PepOut is trending again. It's funny since the people behind that tag are likely not a City fan. Even if they wanted to kick him out, I don't think there's a good replacement to fill his shoes.
Pep is a coach who usually will keep his mainstay players as long as he is still the coach of the team, so I agree that this player will be one of the players that Pep Guardiola will keep.
Regarding the hashtag out aimed at Pep Guardiola. I agree that it came from people who want to see Manchester City slump. Because it is too soon when they are really Manchester City fans to make a hashtag like that. With what has been given to Manchester City, it is extraordinary and it should be remembered that this season Manchester City started not well enough.
Guardiola has led Manchester City to many achievements in the Premier League so far, so indeed a bad season like this one will not affect the trust of fans and management to keep hoping and extend Guardiola contract as a coach, as Guardiola said if in the last 8 seasons, this season is the worst season of their with consecutive defeats but I don't think we will see #guardiolaout  of Manchester City supporters Currently, because he is one of the best coaches in the world,  Guardiola have a high Loyalty to his mainstay players and even before receiving a new contract, he asked Manchester City to keep Haalaand and Rodri in their squad for as long as he coached, besides that he also asked the management to bring in Zubimendi (Real Sociedad) and also Musiala (Munich) to be recruited in january later.

I have never seen Manchester City having such horrible streak so far. They conceded 13 goals in those 5 games if I'm not wrong. Just horrible...

The first time in Pep's career to get five consecutive losses in a row. This never happened to him since the start of his journey as a professional coach. I think he's still feeling so chill despite getting a bad record for the first time in his coaching's career.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

About Rodri topic, I also am curious about his future. He is leaving the door open for Real Madrid which is quite natural. But he is still a critical player in Manchester City midfield. Guardiola would do his best to convince him to stay. I don't expect Real Madrid to give up easily though. They are building an incredible squad these days. Seeing Rodri and Vinicius Jr at the same team would also be interesting after the recent incidents related to Ballon d'Or.  Smiley
Rodri has confirmed he didn't wanna to talk about his future until the end of his contract. His contract ends at 2026, and it's still long way to go. There will be many things can happen until 2026. If real madrid will able to find someone who could properly played at his position, they don't need him.

For a manager of Pep Guardiola's status, I wasn't expecting him to extend his contract with Manchester City knowing fully well that the club is currently facing legal charges for alleged breach of transfer rules and if they're found guilty, they'll be relegated to the second division of English football. I think his decision to stay and even promise to remain with them should they eventually face relegation is a testament that he actually have a very good relationship with the club management and fans. Manchester City is currently struggling in their games but I trust them to bounce back to top form in no distant time
This club has experienced many demands for years but it is still difficult to prove it, I have read the news which says that this case must take a long time so maybe when this problem has become a conclusion maybe Pep Guardiola is not at Manchester City.

I'm sure Pep Guardiola has considered this contract extension, maybe he is ready to accept the consequences if it is proven wrong in the near future and relegated to division 2.

But now Pep is only focused on their project to build a better club, and I believe Pep can return things to normal.
