Manchester City also made a lot of transfers in the early days of Arab capital. But they didn't win the championship in those years. Then they realized that first of all they had to find the right transfers and the right manager. They are a good role model for Newcastle United today. Newcastle United are following their strategy today. Also, Manchester City and Newcastle United were never dominant teams in the last 30 years. Manchester City have done it in the last years. But Manchester United were always the dominant team. So they have more pressure than Manchester City and Newcastle United in this regard.
That is why they agreed to deal with Pep, because no matter how much you spend, if you do not have a great manager then it's just for nothing. Look at how much United is spending, and the yare still bad.

I always say "fifa based transfers" for big clubs, sure in smaller levels that's not good, but a team like United, spending 50+ million on a player that is barely 80 overall at fifa? That's a bad move, I know fifa is not the real world, but if you are spending that much, you might be looking for a huge potential, and for a potential player do not spend that much today, it rarely works, give him "potential player" level of money.

Biggest example, Mazuairi or whoever that back they got, terrible player, well not terrible in general but not going to help with United back, and they spent so much on it, we already knew he wouldn't be great and we are just fans and it was known before the transfer and every fan warned the team, and they did it anyway and look at the result.

It's so clear that teams like Newcastle, United, even sort of Brighton, do not know what they are doing with the money they are spending. I think for United, they need to get a manager known for greatness but at a poorer team, like maybe Emery? Villa seems great and that would be awesome for United.

Recently Arsenal has been linked with Florian Wirtz I would be happy if this club recruited the attacking midfielder who would help the team strengthen the front line while Man City lost Rodri for 1 season and this is Arsenal's opportunity to break Man City's dominance but what I know is the price is very expensive but the management might be able to discuss it with Leverkusen management to get a suitable price.

Source: Twitter
Who wouldn’t want a player like Florian Wirtz? He is an incredible player, one which every club will want to have in their team and the fact that he is just 21 years old increases his demand in the transfer market. I think many clubs will be willing to meet Bayer Leverkusen’s terms because Wirtz is so good that interested clubs won’t want his price tag to be a hindrance to getting him. I believe they will be quick in reaching an agreement but in the end Wirtz will go to the club he chooses.
Florian Wirtz has amazed many clubs with his performance and consistency with Leverkusen at the moment, playing as an attacking midfielder but he actually has many positions in the front line that he can play very well, besides that his young age of course allows him to continue to develop and become one of the stars of football in the future, so it is quite natural that currently he is priced at a price that is quite expensive for a team that wants to recruit him, with his slick performance in the Leverkusen midfield, of course currently teams such as Arsenal, Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City are scrambling to get him, an expensive price with proven quality will certainly not be a problem for the teams, but we have to be realistic about which club Florian Wirtz will choose later because indeed a young player like him will of course only play for a team that has a champion mentality, so I think Manchester City and Madrid could probably be his next club.

I also still don't think how the Ineos Group can be hypnotised by a bald head who clearly has a vision of making Manchester United play in the 2nd tier of the Premier League. If that's the goal it doesn't matter then I will accept and support Erik Ten Hag. The Premier League is too hard to live for the Man United he currently leads. From the beginning I suspected that no matter how bad the results Manchester United got, Erik Ten Hag would still be retained and he seemed to have strong supporters within the United Management body whether it was the Ineos Group or even directly from the Glazer Family.

Everything is clear Manchester United are playing badly, there is no improvement despite having poured billions of dollars to buy players whose contributions are very below standard and even busy being injured rather than playing on the field. Maybe it is time for Manchester United to get out of the Premier League if there is no talk of sacking Ten Hag.
I think they are not, they just couldn't find the courage to fire someone who just won the FA cup, that's not nothing, sure it's clear that he did that on a bad season, they finished terrible at premier league and they were terrible at UCL without a doubt, finished last in their group, so it was a bad season but he won FA cup so they couldn't fire him.

While I am sure that Erik Ten Hag is saying that they agreed to stay together and he doesn't fear being sacked, that doesn't mean that INEOS isn't thinking about sacking him. This is a very bad result from United again, and I am sure that management is considering their options.

Tough part is that they do not have anyone in mind, but if they can find someone better, I am sure that ETH will be gone in a minute. INEOS won't just go to ETH and say "we are thinking about sacking you", that would never happen, when you are fired, you are fired that day, you don't know about it weeks before, you suspect maybe, but not know.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag have very bad approach with his own players, Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo were both forced to leave Manchester United because they had a bad relationship but Sancho was able to impress quite impressively while on loan at Dortmund last season and has been brilliant this season with Chelsea.
A bad approach also affects the performance of the players so that tactics are difficult to run smoothly. Ten Hag is currently under the spotlight due to his team current condition, The victory crisis that is currently hitting MU is considered to be the result of his tough approach to the players. Jadon Sancho is one example of Ten Hag inability to handle and bring out player talent, now he is performing impressively with Chelsea and his assist record beats all MU players.

I think Erik ten Hag need to change his approach with their players if want bring his team reach the higher standings position after have bad trend performance in the early this season start.
Fans were already too disappointed with the poor results achieved by MU, the players began to be reluctant to be trained by Ten Hag again, this was evident when they played without a vision and goal. A change of coach is inevitable, recently there have been rumors circulating about the appointment of a new manager from MU, one of which is directed at Graham Potter, has anyone heard this rumor?

Either Ten Hag is very beautifully telling them fairy tales that everything is about to work out, or the management has lost its mind, because it can't be otherwise, I don't understand how they keep him in office for such a long time. Winning the FA cup is only a small part of what they could have achieved and it was probably premature to be proud of it. I don't even believe in sacking him anymore

I'm just waiting and I want to see how they want to wait for Ten Hag to maybe see a better performance from this coach. He already had enough time in Manchester United and he bought a good player for this tam also he spent too much money there for any player he hired for Manchester United but in the end he couldn't get good results and other than getting bad results he also had a bad relationship with many players in this team and he made players loke Sancho leave. Maybe the sooner they hire another coach and get Ten Hag fired the better result they will get.
The fairy tales he tells in front of the press are not enough to treat the frustration of fans who see their favourite team playing like they don't have any vision on the pitch. Ever since Erik Ten Hag became United coach, we have never heard him apologise for any defeat either in front of the press or in front of United supporters. Is there any evidence that Erik Ten Hag apologised for the team poor performance? it doesn't seem to exist and indeed he wouldn't say that. Ten Hag always feels he is on the right track as a coach, always thinks he has given a great achievement under the pretext of 2 FA Cup trophies. That's all he always talks about to cover up his mistakes. So don't be surprised that Manchester United cannot be saved except by changing the coach.
Someone very influential in the Manchester United management board must have been backing Ten Hag up, as he is not feeling tensed up about his sack each season. Last season, when he was asked about his performance as Manchester United's head coach, he replied by saying that he had performed way better than some of the Premier League coaches; at least he has won 2 league titles since his arrival in 2022.

That's what I think is giving him the courage to believe that his stay in Manchester United will be prolonged as no other coach in Manchester United after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson has won more trophies than him as he has won 1 FA Cup and 1 Europa League title. By so doing, he thinks he deserves more time to take Manchester United back to its former glory. Signing another coach doesn't make the situation look better than it is. That's always the thought of Ten Hag

He had problems not only with Sancho but also with Ronaldo and they sent the player off the team. We can see that the Erik Ten Hag selection was very wrong with his slowly decreasing success graph. Erik Ten Hag has now had his chance and the team said they will send him off the team if the expected results are not achieved in the next 5 games. That's why the next 5 games are very important for Manchester. In my opinion, it is ridiculous that they gave him a chance for 5 games even after the defeat against Tottenham.

Management keep patience waiting Manchester United back to top performance before taking decision sack him or not, recently last season have warned about Erik ten Hag after failure reach the UEFA Champion League spot standings position. In my opinion, the era Erik ten Hag with Manchester United have been over and management must looking for most competitive manager bring back United to the top fourth premier league standings team.

that's true, and that's the main reason why De Zerbi resigned from Brighton, he avoided dismissal. The transfer policy taken by the management is likely to be the trigger for the manager to decide to resign, it is clearly not in line with his plan to build the team. However, most mid-table teams maintain their existence with a business model of buying and selling talented players in every transfer window.

De Zerbi didn't resigned from Brighton because of the sale of players that Brighton did in the past. Brighton has always been a selling club even before De Zerbi was appointed. De Zerbi saw himself a an improved manager who shouldn't be managing a mid table club, whose ambition was just to survive the premier League without the ambition of becoming a power house in the premier League. De Zerbi was heavily linked with the move to Chelsea and because of this he refused to extend his stay at Brighton, but he was eventually betrayed by the Chelsea management when Enzo Maresca came into the picture. With De Zerbi already informed Brighton that he won't stay further, it was difficult for him to take back the Brighton job when Chelsea snubbed him for Maresca, that was why he went to Marseille. It was because of the Chelsea job that made him resigned his job at Brighton not necessarily that Brighton were selling off their best talents.

Any manager that aims at going higher would do same, Brighton as a club don't have the spending force to sign players that would compete well in top competitions in case they qualify for it but would rather buy young talents at cheaper price train them into prospects and sell them off to top clubs and that's why they settle for midtable. Zebri is a fast developing manager with good tactics he's someone that most top clubs would be looking up to when their current managers resigns or get sacked due to poor performance. Well, I didn't expect him to leave England cause I felt either Chelsea or Manchester United would sign him but he moved to a good club in the Ligue 1 and his team is doing fine over there. Well their's hope for a return to the EPL in future and I believe by then he might have won a trophy in the Ligue 1 and gained more experience over there.

So actually the change of coach is also not a problem. Those who fired the coach certainly have better expectations than the previous coach. Remember Man United has provided a luxury fund facility for Ten Hag, so if they fire because they are not satisfied it is natural. They should have done that immediately. I think he doesn't have the fit to coach an English club. I think there are many other coaches who understand the EPL better. Like Gareth Southgate, Tuchel and maybe Simeone Inzaghi even Man United legend Van Nistelrooy

Manchester United currently still have a lot of time to make a change of coach because the season has just begun, I think they should immediately consider to fire ten hag as the current coach before it's too late, because what happened to Manchester United last season actually can be a reference and a strong reason for them to sack ten hag but strangely when they slumped with the worst losing record in history last season ten hag was retained,  So it is indeed possible that the defeat against Tottenham will not affect Ten Hag's current position as Manchester United coach considering that the defeat is no worse than the record of 13 defeats in one season Grin, Manchester United trust in Ten Hag is a blind belief that is indeed difficult to see Manchester United poor performance.

This happened because they were too quick to sell players just because they wanted the benefits they had which resulted in De Zerbi inevitably becoming a victim to be fired by Brighton before.

Brighton had always been one of the clubs that produced stars and they became one of the dark horse clubs that were very wary in the De Zerbi era but mistakes in transfers that released too many star players such as Trosard, Caicedo, MacAllister, Bisouma, Cucurella or even Ben White actually became the beginning of destruction where they increasingly lost momentum because their core players left and there was no good backup as a replacement.
Now they are back to trying from scratch but of course it takes time so for this season I don't think we can expect much more from Brighton as it would be great for them to be in the top 10 as well.

Both Sancho and Ronaldo shine in their own new teams, but this bald guy is still same lol.

Manchester United was too late to hire Pochettino after Chelsea sacked him, maybe if he join Manchester United, he can change Manchester United and improve the team. In the upcoming match Manchester United will meet FC Porto, I really doubt they can beat them. Maybe it will end in draw, the worst case they will lose again.

De Zerbi is at a disadvantage because his career could be derailed by Brighton's indeterminate transfer policy as they are eager to keep selling star players which results in a drastic drop in performance. It is not wrong when developing a situation of buying and selling players for the financial benefit of the club especially for clubs like Brighton, it's just that they are too over and sell not according to the rules because they leave the line empty.
But, till now Brighton haven't sell their star players.

They mostly loan their young and B class players, they still play with their star players, unfortunately different coach, different results.

Speaking as a Manchester United fan, I never expected the team to get better this season because of the current squad, the management of United saw all the struggle in the team last season they still allowed some players that has little or nothing to offer for the club to remain in the club this shows that they are not ready for improvement.
Poor Man United, they are lack of many things, they are too complicated. the loss today from Tottenham, worsen the condition.
I think with Man United's condition not improving either, they will sack ten Hag, many speculations like that. Well, but this is one of ten Hag's answers

And again they still keep him. Yes, maybe there are many preferences for Man United to choose another coach, but it seems like they are still waiting for another big loss, haha
I can't believe that Man United's management continues to maintain Ten Hag as Man United's coach even though under Ten Hag's coaching, Man United's quality has not improved and can even be said to be the worst compared to previous coaches. Well that's right I would also really agree if Arsenal recruits this player because they actually need an active attacking line if they want to win the league race, I think it's okay to spend big money if Arsenal really needs this player so far I rarely see Arsenal waste money to buy many expensive players but this time they really need him, he is a great player and Leverkusen actually doesn't want to lose this player but if Arsenal is interested and willing to accept the price clause I think Leverkusen will find it difficult to refuse.
In last few weeks, we are having good intention about this new sensation of soccer as Florian Wirtz is having huge tag of transfer by Bayer Leverkusen with few big clubs are still interested and want to buy him even things are not clear, but we will be having good competition between Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid with Manchester United and one more club can also jump into this but as things are going anything is possible because money matters about this transfer.

Recently we are having statement from the Mikel Arteta as he is having good interest into this player and wants to buy him on any cost but still it's never been easy because we are having huge market and many clubs are also capable of buying him on this asked price by Bayer Leverkusen this season is important then surely we will be having all out about him as where he is going to land.
Yes Arsenal may compete with other top clubs to bring in this player but if Arsenal moves quickly it is likely that he will get it soon no need to be too long-winded if you really want him it is better to immediately complete the transfer of this player before other clubs take over because clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid will easily submit an offer to Leverkusen management and buy according to the price set so for now it would be better to reach a personal agreement whether he is willing to play in the Premier League or not and after that they can negotiate with the team management.
Florian wirtz to arsenal? No, I really don't think it's a logical move for the player and also for arsenal because he is actually too expensive and besides he is to upgrade on martin odegard, so for arsenal spending so much money to acquire his signature when he cant improve the team immediately is actually not a logical approach.

Though, most people may argue that his quality is needed in the team, and competition is also needed in the team for everyone to be on their toe, so as to get the maximum from everyone, sometimes in a situation like that, it might be healthy, sometimes it's not, because surely, their will be unhappy player in their mids which might bring so much unhappiness and destabilization of the team, so in my own opinion, it actually not going to be a right move for the player and too arsenal too, because he is definitely not an upgrade to martin odegard.

I think even though sacking Erik Ten Hag doesn't solve the problems that Man United are facing. It is true that Ten Hag is not the right manager to fix Man United's problems, however, if they sack him and bring in another manager, I'm not sure if it will change anything. If Man United really want to solve the problems that have been there for years, they should not only sack the manager, but the same players who have been at the club for years also need to be sold because they don't perform well when the going gets tough. It is unfair to blame Ten Hag alone because he doesn't get any help from his players. There are so many things wrong at Man United right now and have been for years. The players look lost on the pitch. They don't seem like a close or friendly group.

The decisions taken by the Manchester United board are truly astonishing. I cannot understand what else he needs to do to be dismissed from the team. Manchester United has lost its reputation in the last three years. They have had dozens of unsuccessful results. Last year they came last in the Champions League groups. This year they started the Europa League with a draw. Perhaps they will have worse results. They are a legendary team in the Premier League. A nightmare for a period of time. However, today Manchester United looks like a terrible team. They are like one of the average teams in the Premier League. The last straw was the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham at home. I think he has endured too much and he should be dismissed.
In reality, we are all disappointed with this decision, all the setbacks and declines in Manchester United performance have occurred gradually over time but even in the worst conditions, the management and team officials can still retain Ten Hag.
From several media that I read, it stated that the decision to retain Ten Hag was because the team did not want to spend more money when firing Ten Hag which might affect the team finances, but I think that actually doesn't have much effect because Manchester United itself has sufficient financial support behind them.
It just that if all this continues then I sure Manchester United will never be able to develop well and be able to appear impressively again, all team officials still believe in Ten Hag to be able to improve and increase the quality of Manchester United performance.
From the decline in Manchester United performance which is increasingly visible very clearly, I very skeptical about their future performance, whether it is in the Premier League or the European League which is the most important competition for them, it will definitely only end with bad results.

However, most mid-table teams maintain their existence with a business model of buying and selling talented players in every transfer window.

Brighton performance so far is still quite good, even better than Manchester United who they defeated in the second week of this season. Brighton has the opportunity to finish in the European zone if they are able to create many surprises when facing elite teams, and get full points when facing other mediocre clubs. De Zerbi is now performing impressively with Marseille in Ligue 1.

Currently 2 wins and 3 draws are not too bad but when looking at the draws against Ipswich and Nottingham which of course they are 1 player ahead which makes them now in 11th place then I think there must still be improvements if they really want to be one of the clubs considered a dark horse and become a stumbling block for big clubs in the Premier League.

Source: Ten Hag: “I’m not thinking about being sacked

And again they still keep him. Yes, maybe there are many preferences for Man United to choose another coach, but it seems like they are still waiting for another big loss, haha
I can't believe that Man United's management continues to maintain Ten Hag as Man United's coach even though under Ten Hag's coaching, Man United's quality has not improved and can even be said to be the worst compared to previous coaches. I hope that in the middle of this season Man United's management will fire Ten Hag and recruit another good coach so that Man United can return to competing in the Champions League next season.
