Speaking as a Manchester United fan, I never expected the team to get better this season because of the current squad, the management of United saw all the struggle in the team last season they still allowed some players that has little or nothing to offer for the club to remain in the club this shows that they are not ready for improvement.
Manchester United is a finished club this season, they are completely not responding to the good signs of improvement, always reluctant and behind when it comes to winnings this season. Erik Ten Hag should be sack? Then what will happen next? The board just have to take precautionary measures when handling with the affairs of the club, because the Red Devils we all know is at the bricks of losing every confidence and standards from other oppositions in the EPL, watching them struggling and losing points hurts pretty bad. Everything is wrong with Manchester United this season, fixing the club will require more work than necessary. The board just have to make crucial decisions towards making improvements for the club this season. Erik Ten Hag have been given enough chances and odds to maximize but looks he's also relenting in his managerial role, zero positive impact to the club.

Poor Man United, they are lack of many things, they are too complicated. the loss today from Tottenham, worsen the condition.
I think with Man United's condition not improving either, they will sack ten Hag, many speculations like that. Well, but this is one of ten Hag's answers

And again they still keep him. Yes, maybe there are many preferences for Man United to choose another coach, but it seems like they are still waiting for another big loss, haha
I can't believe that Man United's management continues to maintain Ten Hag as Man United's coach even though under Ten Hag's coaching, Man United's quality has not improved and can even be said to be the worst compared to previous coaches. I hope that in the middle of this season Man United's management will fire Ten Hag and recruit another good coach so that Man United can return to competing in the Champions League next season.

Either Ten Hag is very beautifully telling them fairy tales that everything is about to work out, or the management has lost its mind, because it can't be otherwise, I don't understand how they keep him in office for such a long time. Winning the FA cup is only a small part of what they could have achieved and it was probably premature to be proud of it. I don't even believe in sacking him anymore
Actually it's very obvious for all to see that Eric Ten Hag has failed as the manager of Manchester united, because with the level of support he has been given by the board of Manchester united, if Jose Mourinho, Luis Van Gaal or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was given such support in the acquisition of players, Manchester united would have definitely return back to their glory days, but the management still believe in his abilities, though they might be forced to sack him in the nearest future if result don't improve, but as for now sacking him is not on the minds of the hierarchy of Manchester united. That's what I see.

I just believe that the next five games will definitely determine if he is going to still be the manager of Manchester united till the reverse fixture or not.

When Erik Ten Hang has decided to be emphasizing on this very agreement he has with the management, he forgot that decision could be changed at any time. That same management who made the decisions to allow him remain no matter what results he get can change their mind and dismiss him. No matter the clause in his contract, Manchester United is big enough to pay anyone off. If he likes he shouldn't be concerned on how to make the team improve, he should be relaxed that he won't be sacked. Someone who is in the 12th position and not doing great should be targeting 15th position and when that happens, he knows what follows.

Manchester United management has actually spent some money this transfer window and made some additions to the squad, this should rather act as a booster and not otherwise to ETH

I'm just waiting and I want to see how they want to wait for Ten Hag to maybe see a better performance from this coach. He already had enough time in Manchester United and he bought a good player for this tam also he spent too much money there for any player he hired for Manchester United but in the end he couldn't get good results and other than getting bad results he also had a bad relationship with many players in this team and he made players loke Sancho leave. Maybe the sooner they hire another coach and get Ten Hag fired the better result they will get.

It is true that Erik ten Hag has been receiving criticism as results obtained by Manchester United in more recent times paint a sorry picture. Despite the fact that he has spent many hours plus lots of money arguably on hiring talented athletes, the team has not improve its perfomance. Also internal issues like conflicts with several players like Sancho, acknowledged poor morale in dressing room which naturally affects footballing on the field.

Manchester United of such stature must not continue to record poor performances such as this one for any long term. The temptation ‘fix it now’ is always very strong and applying it to tactics and leadership can make matters worse. If the management does not solve the problems of bad relations with players and does not get a positive result right now then there can be a searching for a new coach who can bring changes faster.

This happened because they were too quick to sell players just because they wanted the benefits they had which resulted in De Zerbi inevitably becoming a victim to be fired by Brighton before.

Brighton had always been one of the clubs that produced stars and they became one of the dark horse clubs that were very wary in the De Zerbi era but mistakes in transfers that released too many star players such as Trosard, Caicedo, MacAllister, Bisouma, Cucurella or even Ben White actually became the beginning of destruction where they increasingly lost momentum because their core players left and there was no good backup as a replacement.
Now they are back to trying from scratch but of course it takes time so for this season I don't think we can expect much more from Brighton as it would be great for them to be in the top 10 as well.
that's true, and that's the main reason why De Zerbi resigned from Brighton, he avoided dismissal. The transfer policy taken by the management is likely to be the trigger for the manager to decide to resign, it is clearly not in line with his plan to build the team. However, most mid-table teams maintain their existence with a business model of buying and selling talented players in every transfer window.

Brighton performance so far is still quite good, even better than Manchester United who they defeated in the second week of this season. Brighton has the opportunity to finish in the European zone if they are able to create many surprises when facing elite teams, and get full points when facing other mediocre clubs. De Zerbi is now performing impressively with Marseille in Ligue 1.

The fact is that spending a lot of money to recruit players does not guarantee a club to be successful as you can see so far Brighton has not been fully consistent, Manchester United and Chelsea have also spent a lot of money they have not been able to compete in the title race, buying a lot of players is not the only best solution they also need to hone the abilities of their players to be more effective and the coach factor also has a big influence on team performance the foundation lies in the coach's strategy and the players only do what their coach says if the coach can't provide a good strategy it's useless for them to buy a lot of players they are just wasting money.
This happened because they were too quick to sell players just because they wanted the benefits they had which resulted in De Zerbi inevitably becoming a victim to be fired by Brighton before.

There’s no sign that Manchester United will want to sack Eric Ten Hag any moment from now. From his interview, he’s so confident that he’s not even thinking about being sacked and wants to improve and encourage the condition of the team despite conceding a lot of goals in the league. Most of his big defeat where aging big clubs and not small clubs and only drew with some small teams which is still considerable. The management knows better why they’re keeping him and we won’t know what they’ve discussed after losing so much points in the league from the start of the season. I just hope they can do better and improve the condition of the team soon because that’s all they need now to be on the top of the league table like other top teams contending for the league title.
Elsewhere, I said Manchester United did not want to pay a compensation fee to Ten Hag if he was sacked. So the deal will probably be honored for a while while hoping for a positive impact on the way the team plays. The squad depth that Ten Hag has for Manchester United so far is not very good, but the team is always expected to do a lot.

I think it's time to lower expectations for Manchester United's change of form while Ten Hag manages the team, of course because I'm not sure he really can. Ten Hag is good in some parts, while this team needs someone better than him. However, in fact, many coaches can make their team survive in the Premier League, but find it difficult to win the title.

No one can understand what Man U's higher authorities and Management think and why they put that kind of trust in Ten Hag after such a humiliating loss against Tottenham on their home ground.

Trust at this moment? If you watch Manchester United matches for the past 2 seasons and this is the reasonable excuse you could bring about Manchester United management and Erik, them I'm disappointed for real. I have said it with my United fans that unless there is more to this, contracts alone can't make Erik to remain in Manchester United upto this moment, they ought to have pathways since last season immediately they finish the last match but everywhere went silent and then boom, he was reinstate as the manager.

Xavi did all it takes to keep the club bit because of some unsatisfactions of the management and not taking Laliga, they free him of his duty yet someone with some mild trophy stays. Some united fans are even given excuses that in Manchester United they don't sack coaches the way they like and I just had to laugh so hard. I don't know why they are defending him at this moment when there should be a caomain to free him but that's their business, I'm concerned about my tickets that are been spoilt because of their incompetence.

The high confidence proves that he can still be in control so that no matter how bad his performance is, he will still be at Manchester United for several reasons, especially the management's trust in this coach seems to be very large even though it looks like a ridiculousness in the end.

Losing to Tottenham should make them realise that there are still many things to improve and Manchester United should not be too forceful to keep Ten Hag because these 3 seasons he has been at Manchester United we must be aware that his performance is quite stagnant.
Although in the end changing the coach will look risky, it could be the right choice when there is a coach who is more suitable to provide direction than Ten Hag then why not do it.

Ten Hag has been getting a lot of backing from upper management for reasons I cannot comprehend. From what I read on this page, Manchester United would have to pay £17.5m compensation to Ten Hag if they sack him now. This news is unverified but I believe it to be true, the release clause is probably the reason why Ten Hag is so confident about his job security in Manchester United.

That news is actually true because if you look at his contract it was just renewed this summer which means a new and even a longer term contract would he be agreed, for them to sack him now they will need to actually pay him off for the reminder years. In as much as I will say the current board to me have done better in almost all areas they actually were in haste to hand in Ten hag a new contract. There reason was to actually get him committed to the club since they found out that they couldn’t get a proper manager to Coach the team and other clubs were after him the likes of Bayern Munich.

But still with respect to this Manchester United still have their plans, the arrival of Ruud Van Nistrooy was just to actually get him learn a thing about this players before they sack Ten Hag. If the result of this team doesn’t changes in like next two to three matches I think the change will take place

He dares to say that, it means that there is certainty that he holds from the management, or the management has promised him something. I don't know what Manchester United is thinking right now, instead of making a decision that leads to dismissal, they seem to pretend not to see what is shown by Mannchester United's performance under Erik Ten Hag's direction. Maybe they will wait until they are in the relegation zone or they will wait until they are relegated. Lol
If I were in Manchester United's management, then I would decide Erik Ten Hag's future now. Don't make the championship he won last season (in the FA Cup) as a reason to keep him. Trophies are not the only thing to consider, especially if they are obtained in a lucky way.

Erik ten Hag is the luckiest coach that's managing a team in any of the top five leagues in Europe at the moment because I don't think there's any other club that plays in any of these leagues that's gonna still keep a manager that's underperforming like the Dutchman. This news didn't come as a surprise to me after the management of Manchester United failed to sack the Dutchman during the summer. Manchester United play away at Porto on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League competition and I won't be surprised if they get thrash again.

I wonder how many years of failures must pass before he himself says "I failed"? Yesterday United had no injuries, had an optimal lineup, but the game was terrible as always. Today I read a stream of opinions (former United players, football experts, trolls like Morgan, etc.) and everyone is surprised that he is still a coach. United shows shameful results and shameful play, it is high time to fire him, even if Nistelrooy is the coach until the end of the season.

This is just ridiculous. How can he be so sure of his seat at Manchester United? Does the chairman really guarantee it? If he is then this is just unbelievable... Get ready for another horrible placement by the Red Devils in the Premier League at the end of the season.  Smiley

If I was a Manchester United fan I would really get frustrated. They really have all the right to be angry with ten Hag. If you are still messing up despite spending hundreds of million dollars then you deserve to be given the boot.  Sad  They just continue to lose. 7 points in 6 games is just awful statistics. I wonder how much longer the new owners of the team want to see this terrifying image. Seasons pass and there is still 0 development.

Ten Hag is a very confident person although Manchester United has displayed poor performance since he was arrived but confidently Ten Hag says he will bringing Manchester United to performing better again although he says it required process but Ten Hag believe Manchester United can compete against big teams such as Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal in Premier league but although Ten Hag can give two trophies for Manchester United but in fact their performance in Premier league is similar to mediocre team

Indeed i have seen the news that Ten Hag position is still safe in Manchester United so the owner probably will not sack him early but if Manchester United will suffering several loses from their upcoming matches then not impossible the owner will really sack him and according to the rumour some of famous names such as Massimiliano Allegri, Gareth Southgate and Thomas Tuchel are linked to Manchester United and besides these managers some fans also want Manchester United bring Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back because they feel Manchester United is much better under Solskjaer rather than under Ten Hag
In my opinion, Ten Hag should not be in charge of the team right now anyway, he has already done the most damage he could to Manchester United. Manchester United now has the impression of being a ruined team. They couldn't even win against the Dutch team in the Europa League. They are also seen as one of the few teams that can be champions in the Europa League. They still have tough teams to face. If they fail in both the Premier League and the Europa League, it will be something that will damage Manchester United's reputation. I still can't understand why the management hasn't changed the manager. I think he should have left the team long ago. The transfers he made are criticized as much as he is.

^^ I don’t know what it is but for some reason, it seems like the owner of Manchester United definitely likes Ten Hag a lot. I said that because there was a very good chance that if it was any other club, the coach would have been sacked. I understand that he was basically able to save his career because he was able to win the FA Cup final. But a lot of people including me thought that it was not going to be enough for him to save his career. But of course, the Manchester United owners thought otherwise.

As we can easily see the situation in the Manchester United dressing room is not the best. They just got thrashed by Tottenham 3-0. And Bruno Fernandez got a red card in the 42nd minute of the match. I do not understand how the owners thought that the coach was going to do well when he is not going to have good money even though he was unable to do well in the last season when he actually had access to very good funds.

It seems that Man United has to suffer from the same problems as last season when many players faced injury issues, and now Maguire, who is a key player for ETH, has to deal with an injury.
So, will this be good news or bad news? IMO, it's time for Manchester United's management to address every issue, such as Maguire, who should actually be replaced due to his slightly older age. It would be better to recruit younger, more aggressive players who can make a significant contribution.

Are you sure Maguire is a key player in Man United?  Huh
I assume Man United key players for center backs are Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martínez.
It is strange if Man United relies on Maguire and makes him as a key player. Having him on the lineup just increases the chance of a lose.

I personally think it is good news. If Maguire can't play, Man United removes 1 internal problem. Maguire has the most error player record in history, he actually doesn't deserve to stay in Man United anymore. But Ten Hag always keeps him every season because Ten Hag seems having no motivation to improve Man United performance.  Grin

I hope Maguire will focus on his injury for few months.

Manchester United in my opinion has a capable squad depth and is better prepared to face the competition than Manchester City or Arsenal today, most of the injured Manchester United players are defenders such as Maguire, Leny Yoro, Malacia and Luke Shaw but they currently have De Light, Martines, Mazraoui and some other players who are better at defending,  Maguire's injury I think has never been a problem from their weak defense at the moment because Maguire is the player that fans expect the least Grin, if you watch Manchester United play in the last two seasons, of course you understand why Maguire is actually considered the least important player by fans today, Maguire is a player who was previously bought quite expensive from Leicester City,  But in fact, his performance is below the current standard and even he often makes ridiculous blunders that result in Manchester United's goal being conceded.

It must be admitted that Manchester United squad depth is quite good, but in terms of competing for trophies, I would put Manchester City and Arsenal at the top.
Since last season, Ten Hag has often lost his defenders due to injury, making him one of The Red Devils weakest points. Ten Hag even had to rely on Maguire, who was actually no longer wanted, although he often made blunders and quite often get teased, last season Maguire managed to make the contribution as expected. The removal of the captain armband from his arm encouraged him to play better, I think Ten Hag should learn from his former captain about mentality.
Currently, only three players in the squad are injured, one of whom is new recruit Leny Yoro, who is predicted to make his debut at the end of October. With an almost fully available squad, Ten Hag should be able to lead his team to perform consistently, not the opposite.
