I don't know why Manchester United will want to bring in another left back to the squad when they have Mazraoui, Luke shaw and Tyler Malacia. Their main attention should be trying to bring in a perfect replacement for Bruno Fernandes and also a winger and probably a striker too. But if they choose to being in another left back to the club. Alphonso Davies is one of the players that is currently linked with the club. It will be a difficult task for Manchester United to convince him to sign a contract when Real Madrid are also interested in him.
The pattern is same, just like Ten Hag who want to train his ex-players.

He has not yet prove anything, but he's very aggressive after he joined Manchester United, honestly it doesn't sound good. Who does he think he's? he's just a coach in Portugal league, not in Real Madrid or Manchester City, he might not able to perform to coaching in Premier League teams.

Look at Liverpool and Chelsea, no bullshit recruiting new players and they can perform.
I hope for Manchester United sake that Amorim is not a repeat of Erik Ten Hag but for the sake of banter I wouldn’t mind seeing them struggle once again. I honestly believe that no one can be worse than Erik Ten Hag. Amorim is different, he already said he’s not going to bring players from his former team to United, Erik Ten Hag made it a point to bring his players from Ajax to Manchester United. I don’t think it will be a problem if Amorim does the same and get the results. Manchester United needs an overhaul, in order to move forward they may need to get rid of the players from Ten Hag’s era.

Amorim seems to understand Manchester United weaknesses very well, he has evaluated the players when under Erik Ten Hag guidance. In front of the Media Amorim has explained that being a Manchester United coach is a tough job so he doesn't care about people who doubt his quality, Amorim only wants to focus on his target to return the players to their proper positions.
Ruben Amorim have talked to media will not bring any one Sporting Lisbon player yet at January window transfer but he can't speculation at the next window transfer.
But Amorim will sign any new players on January window transfer regarding how Manchester United current composition still need back up several players on crucial position from defender and central forward.
Manchester United management must be loyal for their manager Ruben Amonim when signing new players, regarding how much money spending under Erik ten Hag position likely need around 200 million euro if Manchester United want return to the top fourth race in this season. The management have target with their manager must be success bring his team finish at the top fourth position or make opportunity keep in the domestic league race.

Every team is looking to strengthen their squad a bit but i think Manchester City really needs to add more players and the likes of Wirtz is what they need because they lack creativity in their midfield and it gets worse when De Bruyne is not around so bringing in Wirtz could make a difference but they have competition from Real Madrid which is a team that everyone wants to play in so it will not be easy for Manchester City to sign Wirtz. I am sure some teams might also join the race soon.
Manchester City already have everything, they're strong, but if they have Wirtz, even better.

If they can't get Wirtz, I think they should reach Maddison, Maddison is only 28 years old and he's in Tottenham, a team without journey, definitely Maddison will interested to play in Manchester City.

Osimhen for United could be a big deal but could help them a lot. They could start with unloading some players too, they do not need neither Zirkzee nor Hojlund if you ask me and spent a lot on them, nor Antony. I understand they may have spent a lot on some of their players, but they could unload some of them and open up roster space and make some money, even if they could sell like 3-4 players to get Osimhen for free, that would be more than worth it.

Osimhen is only 75 million euro, which means that we could see them getting that much from just 3 players, 25 million each, and it would benefit them more than those three players ever could. They need players in many positions but they have a good deep pocket with a lot of assets (Players) that they could get rid of to make that money back. I believe we could make this work, there isn't really any way they could get any worse, so the only way for them is up, and if they do good transfers, they should be profiting a lot.
Osimhen great desire to play in the English league can of course be an opportunity for Manchester United to recruit him in January, but I think they also have to really know the needs of the team at the moment so that they are not rash in spending money like as ten hag era, previously gyokeres were also associated with the Red Devils and compared to osimhen actually gyokeres can be a better choice although it is a little more expensive in my opinion,  Selling some players who are less contributing such as Zirkzee, hojlund, Antony, may can be a good strategy to open up space in the squad and get the necessary funds, but in this case I don't agree if they should sell Zirkzee, because how he still needs time to prove his quality after being signed some time ago from Bologna, in my opinion,  Manchester needs smart and strategic steps for them to be able to strengthen the team significantly and return to compete as title contenders later.

The arrival of Amorim certainly makes the Management have to understand what he wants. I heard that Amorim will move a lot to strengthen the team in this transfer season. Reportedly, Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diomande will soon join Amorim at Man United. Actually, Man United competes with Man City, but Man City's problems make Ousmane not want to take much action with his future.

Now there is a dispute among the Manchester United management about why Ten Hag was not fired in the summer, because this decision was wrong and he spent 200m in the off-season, in addition they lost 15m when Ten Hag was fired and 10m in compensation to Sporting, so Ten Hag cost them a lot. I think this issue arose because Amorim will definitely demand new transfers, and maybe they already do, and the management understands that this is new expenses.

Liverpool and Newcastle wants Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford
Manchester City are aiming for Florian Wirtz with Real Madrid and Liverpool
Geovany Quenda could move to Manchester United.
Liverpool is moving for Rayan Cherki from Lyon

According to BBC
Every team is looking to strengthen their squad a bit but i think Manchester City really needs to add more players and the likes of Wirtz is what they need because they lack creativity in their midfield and it gets worse when De Bruyne is not around so bringing in Wirtz could make a difference but they have competition from Real Madrid which is a team that everyone wants to play in so it will not be easy for Manchester City to sign Wirtz. I am sure some teams might also join the race soon.

I don't think it would be a wise decision for Bryan Mbeumo to make a transfer to Liverpool because he won't be guaranteed a regular football  instead he should favour a move to Newcastle where regular playing time will be guaranteed.
You’re right Mbuemo might actually suffer from adequate playing time unless if Salah leaves but then Liverpool is much bigger team than Newcastle and he will get to bigger stages with Liverpool than Newcastle and probably receive more wages at Liverpool so all this is what a player considers and all players want to play in a bigger team.

I agree with you, I think the Saudi Pro League is the best option for Pogba. He can earn a lot of money there and play in an easier league. Also, Europe's elite leagues have many question marks for Pogba. But the Saudi Pro League can hide his flaws. On the other hand, the good scenario holds many hopes for Pogba. But if things don't go well for Pogba in Arabia, his career could suddenly take a turn for the worse. Whatever league he plays in, he should make the most of this opportunity.
If there are no big teams in Europe to make an offer, Pogba is better to move to Saudi teams. Sure, Saudi teams will give a higher salary for Pogba. They also probably guarantees Pogba to be the main player there. Pogba is still in prime age, he deserves to play regularly in the main lineup. Al Nassr and Al Ahli seem to try signing a new top midfielder because they still have lack of top players in their midfield line. Meanwhile Al Hilal and Al Ittihad seems to have enough top players in their midfield line currently. By the way, if Pogba can play well in SPL, he may get another chance to play in France national team anymore.

Although he is good player but his scandal will makes him hard to earn trust from big teams in Europa and based on the experience of the players who has the same cases as Pogba they usually will be difficult to find new clubs even those players eventually has decide to retired because there were no clubs who willing to hire their service and it think similar condition will be happened to Pogba because i am sure there are no big clubs will want his signature and i do agree with you that if Pogba still want to playing i think he should be considering the offers from Saudi Pro League clubs and in that league he must prove that he is able to bounce back and return to his top performance again

There is no need to flog a dead horse, they cannot change the past so there is need to move one. Majority of football fans and pundits expected Erik Ten Hag to be sacked after last season. But the management decided to keep him after he won the FA Cup. Maybe they thought the performance of the club would improve after the transfer spree.

Some players in Sporting Lisbon' might be willing to move with Amorim to Manchester United. But Amorim has said he doesn't have any intention to buy new players from his former team in January but he might move for some after this season. He might decide to work with the available players till the season clubs have some good players that he can maximize.

Maybe at the beginning he hoped Erik Ten Ha could make a change with his evaluation but in fact it got worse and the management had to accept the fact that they had to spend a lot of money to fire Erik Ten Hag and compensation to Sporting CP, maybe the club's finances were getting thinner it would not be bad for their finances.

After Amorin is brought in, the coach will ask for some players he wants, including Erik Ten Hag who used to bring Ajax players and now Amorin wants to bring Sporting CP players to be part of his new club.

Inevitably the club management must fulfill his wishes so that Amorin's plans go according to his wishes.

Pep Guardiola is reported to have extended his service with Manchester City until 2027. It is known that his contract with The Citizen will end at the end of the 2026 season and many speculate that Pep Guardiola will leave Man City and he will switch to become a national team coach to achieve new challenges and achievements that he has always wanted to conquer, namely the World Cup, but because of his love for Man City, it seems he wants to stay longer and win many titles so that he can become a historic coach for Man City and this must be happy news for Man City fans because they have loved the coach.

Source : Pep Guardiola extends contract at Man City
Great news for Manchester City and possibly for Guardiola himself.
For 8 years Guardiola won 16 trophies and it turns out that at least 2 trophies a year he brought the team, you can compare for example with PSG, which spent more money on players, but the result is much more modest.

Guardiola said that he has everything in Manchester City and we see that other teams just can not offer him such. In Manchester City Guardiola is an absolute authority and none of the players can dispute this and the players also realize it.
This is a unique case, because often the management or the players can dictate their will to the coach, like in the Real Madrid, where the team management actually imposed Mbappe Ancelotti, although apparently he did not strongly want it.

While we were all thinking Pep Guardiola was going to leave Manchester City because of the recent bad performance we saw from this coach in the Premier League but it seems Guardiola is going to stay for a longer time. So far Guardiola achieved many titles with Manchester City which made the team and the owners happy however so far during this season he hasn't had had the same good performance anymore but still, Guardiola said he is going to stay there.
Since Manchester City wanted to prove their trust in Guardiola, they extended the contract of Guardiola for 2 years until 2027.

This would be a good plan for the Red Devils honestly. Let's check out the current alternatives in the position.

Luke Shaw... He has suffered big injuries especially in the recent years. This just finished him. The team can't rely on him in the long term anymore. Otherwise he was a quite decent LB. Injuries hit him hard.

Tyrell Malacia... He is another alternative who is much younger. However he couldn't even play in last two seasons. He suffered a huge injury period which lasted nearly a year and a half. I don't think they would like to trust him as the main LB either.  Sad

Playing Diogo Dalot or Noussair Mazraoui at left-back is unlikely to be an option for Ruben Amorim, meaning that if Man United does sign a new left-back, one of Dalot and Mazraoui will be benched. There are no specific names, so it will definitely be a lot of speculation here. Alphonso Davies is one of them, and he is currently being linked with Man United, but I think Man United really has to fight hard if they want Davies because besides having to prepare large funds, Man United has to compete with Real Madrid which also seems interested in Alphonso Davies.
I don't know why Manchester United will want to bring in another left back to the squad when they have Mazraoui, Luke shaw and Tyler Malacia.

On the contrary here, I have a different opinion about this here, to be honest bro, since Patrick evra left Manchester united, they haven't had a decent left back that is as quality and good as Patrick evra, even luck shaw that is manageable is an injury prone player, so on my own opinion the left back position is one of the key areas Manchester united are seriously lacking, because all these names you made mentioned aren't good enough for a team like Manchester united.

Quote

Well it's true that a direct backup is needed for Bruno Fernandes, but a replacement will be quite difficult, because it's going to be very difficult to see a very good player that is way better than him right now in the market, the players that can relegate him to the bench in this Manchester united side are off the market right now.
Then as for a winger, I don't think it's necessary, what I think that they are seriously lacking is a creative midfielder and a backup striker to complement the injury prone player they bought from Atalanta last season.

I mean Saudi league could still make that happen. Look at Kante, he plays at Saudi league and gets paid a huge sum of money while still keeping his position at French national team as well and he was still amazing at euro 2024 as well, we are seeing this becoming a very important situation for the players because they are getting paid a lot but still getting the national team level as well.

Kante was even considered to be bought for a while, but then the salary was way too much and didn't really look like it was a smart move to do that for someone at that age. So, if Pogba goes to a team like Al Nassr for example then we could definitely consider him playing well enough and help Ronaldo and also get back on national team as well. This of course depends on how good he is playing as well, otherwise if he plays terrible then it doesn't matter how many minutes he is getting.
I agree with you, I think the Saudi Pro League is the best option for Pogba. He can earn a lot of money there and play in an easier league. He probably knows this too, so the only question that remains is if Pogba wants to get back to big clubs again or not. If he does want that, then being at some conference league or Europa league team would guarantee him getting watched by those teams and next season or the season after that he could get back to top teams if he plays well.

But considering he was injured before this ban, and he hasn't played football in a long long time, we could safely assume that he is not good enough to be in a top club anymore. So that means we could see him not be that good at all, we could see him change a lot, and this could mean that we could potentially see him in a Saudi club since that would be the only logical place left for him.

When Man United's board changed to a new coach, they spent a lot of money on transfers. I don't know if that's right. Or just keep throwing money into the fire. With Evans, Lindelof, and Maguire all entering the final year of their contracts and not showing their best form. This reason favored Amorim to seize this opportunity to include Diomande in his project.

The race for Ousmane Diomande promises to be one of the most notable deals in the upcoming transfer window, especially as the season approaches its fierce stage. I don't know what problems Man City has that Diomande didn't choose Man City? He should have gone to Man City where his future would be more certain than Man United. Pep Guardiola has renewed his contract with Man City, with his quality enough to help Diomande reach new heights. Or because Diomande doesn't want to work with Pep Guardiola. The close relationship between Diomande and Amorim could be why Man United has the upper hand in this transfer.

Wow, though the link you drop is not in English, so I can't go verify it, but if this piss of news is true, then I think that it's the best news and the best transfer dealings of Manchester city this season, though Manchester city isn't as dominant as they are used to this season, but retaining the presence of pep guardiola at the club is the best transfer dealings they have done this season, because I believe that the ability of the head coach determine how strong the team is going to be, and when it comes to coaching in world football, pep guardiola is among the top three best managers, so retaining his services at the club is really a good thing for all the citizens and those that loves the club.

If you look at the Manchester city squad right now, it's very obvious that the team needs rebuilding, and the best person in the business that can do that is pep guardiola, so for the hierarchy of Manchester city to be able to convince pep guardiola to stay put at the club, it's a massive win for them no doubt.
You can search in your local media or see the latest news on twitter in the post Fabrizio Romano to get more accurate news, with this contract extension of course Man City is not worried about the future of the club for the next 2 years because Pep is the coach who made Man City successful so far and also there has been no coach who can provide what Pep can do so it is very natural if the club will do anything to continue to maintain Pep.

Since you know that it wi take some seasons for Amorim to win a title, that's the reason why Amorim needs good and professional players like Osimhen who he can work with so that they can both put United back to their glory days.

If Amorim can get the players he wants ASAP, I believe that he will do his job perfectly and we would see a new Manchester United. Osimhen is a player that loves playing with passion for his club and that has always paved way for him in scoring goals.

If United wants a change in a short time, of course, the club must support the program desired by the coach. bButmaybe United have some considerations for their finances. But if Amorim intends to get Osimhen, I don't think the club will lose. Except with what Ten Han did, some of the transfers that were made were not successful enough.
Amorim must have seen the performance of his players and saw some parts that still need to be strengthened. In this case of course there will be players who leave and some will come. Napoli asked very much for Osimhen.
A party's status will not change in a short period of time. Manchester United have underperformed in the last few seasons so whoever takes over as the new manager of Manchester United will have to give time and if he is given financial freedom he will surely be able to mold the team to his liking. Since a manager is the mastermind of a club, better team performance is obtained if he arranges the team according to his wishes. After taking charge of Manchester United, this manager has not had much time to implement his strategy, but based on what kind of strategy he is applying in the upcoming matches, we can get a clear idea about this manager. But I can say that this manager will definitely do better for Manchester United than the one who was in charge of Manchester United before.

He's going to be a top striker playing for Manchester United, but I hope he'll be willing to wait for Manchester United to get things together before he start demanding the club gives him a major trophy as Manchester United aren't in a position to start competing for titles as they're yet to get the club in sharp. They have a new manager and it'll take some season for him to start showing strong contentions for the premier league title or even the champions league title but still, a move to Manchester United is going to be a great move and an upgrade for him from the club and league he's currently playing at. Napoli shouldn't sabotage this deal if Manchester United are serious about it.

If Manchester united are ever going to get another striker and are willing to spend €100m on one ( that's Osimhen release clause except Napoli brings it down) I think Amorim would want to bring Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon with the same release clause, he's also as good as Osimhen but Amorim would like to work with him instead.

They already have Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund what else do they need a new striker for?
Zirkzee and Hojlund unfortunately fell short of expectations. Both Osimhen and Gyökeres are much better forwards than them. Hojlund, who they acquired from Atalanta, was an early transfer in my opinion. He was transferred to Manchester United before he had even proven himself. I couldn't show the performance he expected at Manchester United either. Since Manchester United had forwards like Rooney and Van Nistelrooy in the past, the fans are looking for forwards of this quality. Maybe Osimhen or Gyökeres can meet this expectation.

Of course he will try to improve the red devil squad by taking some players and throwing away those who are not needed, Amorim will definitely try to get Ousmane because he is Sporting mainstay defender who has quite good quality so that it will help Manchester United to get better defense.
This will be interesting, two English giants will fight for one player and indeed they both need strong defender, but I think Ousmane will prefer to join Manchester United and can return with Amorim, the coach who previously handled Sporting.
