In what will surely be one of the most bizarre transfer deals of all time if it hapens (at least for me), Kasper Schmeichel is close to joining Nice. It has credibility, the source is L'Equipe.

Apparently he's accepted the deal - but Leicester will allow him to leave once they find a replacement.

He was a starter in a decent PL team so the only reason why he'd leave is that Nice is a way way waaay nicer place to live. Still - quite surprising to read this.

Ronaldo behaviours towards his transfer is now looking some how greedy and selfish,  what I think about Ronaldo is that he always want to be in a club that is doing fine already but not always to remain in a club that is striving to do better when the club needs his presence badly. I think because of this attitude that is why most big clubs may not have interest to sign him, he is looking for a big club to make name to his carreer but not to help clubs to stand strong.
I honestly can't fault Ronaldo's ideas, neither will i call him greedy or selfish, he does not want to leave Manchester United because he is not happy financially, he wants to leave because of the club's inability to compete for trophies, and their absence from the Champions League, no player of Ronaldo's status and level will be excited to play in the Europa League, so why should he. Big players play in big clubs, that is how it has always been, it is not peculiar to Ronaldo, Manchester United is a big club, but they are doing pretty bad at the moment, and the thing is, nobody knows when they will come good, they don't look like they can compete for the EPL next season.

Ronaldo himself is not a youngster, thus he doesn't have too many years left ahead of him, i am pretty sure he doesn't want to spend the few years he has left in his career struggling, and i can understand that, imagine Ronaldo not playing in the CL next season, and Manchester United still miss out on top four again at the end of next season, which is very possible.

I don't know why they bought Ramsey at the first place. He is well known for being a fragile player having lots of injuries and he misses lots of goal opportunities. His career is basically over.
It prolly is, Aaron Ramsey has struggled for fitness for quite a long time now, to be honest i do not blame Juventus at all for terminating his contract with them, they bought him with a lot of hope and optimism, and made him one of their highest earners in the club, i think Ramsey was earning around £400k every week, thus when a club pays you that high, you are expected to deliver for them on the pitch, and that is something Ramsey did not manage to do at all; even when he was pushed out on loan to Rangers, he didn't perform too. I do not know what the next chapter is for Aaron, but i think he will prolly move to a smaller club, so that he can get enough playing time and see if he can revive his career. I would love to see him in the EPL again though, maybe the recent 'money-club' Newcastle can sign him. Grin
Aaron Ramsey is a very good player, even at his age he can still play very well at top level. It is really unfortunate that his time at Juventus didn't go as he had expected. I don't know what the future holds for Aaron Ramsey but a move probably to the premier league will be good for him. Clubs like Chelsea, Newcastle, Manchester united, Fulham could be interested in signing him on a 2 years deal or more.

I am of the opinion that Ronaldo should be left to go, infact no one is holding him, it's just because clubs are not coming for him, if not Ronaldo would have left Manchester United. We can say that clubs are coming for him but the terms of agreement is not harmonising.
Ronaldo didn't join the preseason training and matches, how can he successfully integrate with the team. This season that Manchester United talents like Martial wants to glow. I wish Ronaldo can leave Manchester United.
I guess that's just about it, clubs aren't coming for him and that's not because he is aged or isn't a good player anymore. I think it's more to the fact that, his salary range is probably unaffordable by most clubs or should i say won't want to pay him that Hugh and supposedly the demand that Manchester United would ask for the player. We know Manchester United are not ready to loose the player just yet with the team stil trying to gather itself and Ronaldo is very much unwilling to play for a side that isn't competing in the UCL and that's kind of hard for a player of his caliber too. If Ronaldo could look into reducing his salary,he might get a number 7 in a good UCL team.
That is if he will lower his salary and how possible will it be that the acclaimed GOAT will be in a club and another person earns more than him. This is the problem Ronaldo is facing. It is obvious Manchester United is not willing to lose him either but he didn't help the new manager, his departure would have distracted the young man if not that he is determined.

On the other hand, number 7 is not his problem. Any clubs he joins, whoever that has number 7 will be willing to give it to Ronaldo, maybe except Mbappe in PSG.

33 years old is not the end of a footballing career, Costa is a player full of experience so far and he has had impressive performances when he was a player at Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, Costa current status is without a club and reportedly there are several clubs from Arabia, Turkey, Spain and England are indeed interested in signing him, but of these clubs so far only Rayo Vallecano is serious about getting Costa and even now Rayo Vallecano has submitted a proposal to Diego Costa agent, although Costa is still one of the most dangerous strikers and honest I really miss all the controversies that have arisen due to the high temper that Diego Costa has had all this time.
It may not be the biggest deal or it may not help him retire early at 33 years old, but it is damn clear that he will not have a big career after this. Sure he could go to arabic clubs, turkish ones, even MLS if he wants to but that's about it, he is not going to be an important player of a big European club anymore. Hell he could even go with like 9th of a big league type of deal, it would help him stay in those leagues for another year, but that is a risk he is taking instead of signing a 4 year deal or at least 3 year deal with a club that would want him there, even when he is like this, because his talents may not be enough for ATM right now, but it is certainly good enough for a lower level league.

By this transfer, Barcelona will have stolen another player from Chelsea's targets indeed. And I've heard that Chelsea won't sell Azpilicueta and Alonso to them just because of this reason.

Business wise, I dont think Barcelona would be able to them as well though. They even forced some players to take a pay cut or leave the club so that pretty much tells us their financial situation. Aside from this, why would Xavi even need another old left back on his team when he already has one that is on par in term of quality. That just doesnt make any sense though

Principle Agreement  has been reached between Barcelona and Sevilla for Jules Kounde for a fixed fee of 50 million euros plus 10 million euros in variables. Agreement was reached yesterday after Barcelona improved on their first offer of 40 million + variables of 5 million. Well, Barcelona are on a spending spree at the moment. I guess TV rights money did come in handy and they are using it mainly to improve the squad.

Finally, this the deal saga is eventually coming to an end and Barcelona are the winning team, yet again, Fabrizio Romano also confirmed how close the deal is being to getting seal with all parties involved reaching an agreement, the prize wasn't stated in Fabrizio's report, but what you said is true that bring Barcelona transfer spending sum to a figure of €143.00m, It's so surprising for a team in financial woes, but I like the ways things are working out eventually for the club. Barcelona are really try to get under Chelsea's skin, Romano confirmed that Barcelona have stated again to César Azpilicueta their intention to negotiate again with Chelsea in order to sign him, it's will be very surprising if that happens to Tuchel is said to be keen on keep Azpi. I personally really like Azpilicueta's versatility he could play multiple positions and on both sides of a fullback, it will be equivalent to getting another Jordi Alba in the squad, If it happens I'll betting outrightly for Barcelona to lift the La Liga this season, the sign are very promising already.

Ronaldo behaviours towards his transfer is now looking some how greedy and selfish,  what I think about Ronaldo is that he always want to be in a club that is doing fine already but not always to remain in a club that is striving to do better when the club needs his presence badly. I don't think Ronaldo want to go to an already successful club, Man Utd were struggling before he came back, he was back because he could compete at every level available, greediness would be him seeking a club offering an higher pay, perhaps you can call selfishness, but I'm pretty sure would be fine with taking a pay cut right now just play in the champions league. He's probably concerned about his goals records in the UCL and wouldn't want anyone catching up with him.

An agreement has been reached between barcelona and kounde and they just need to finalize personal terms before introducing it to the public, kounde would be a great addition to the barcelona defense and I think kounde and christensen would make a pretty ideal duo for the barcelona defense next season, barcelona have signed players new to every line at the moment and kounde will probably be their last transfer of the summer.
If it is true that Barcelona have officially brought in Jules Kunde, then we can be sure that Sevilla managed to make a big profit from the sale. But there is no official news on their twitter or website about Kounde yet, maybe wait for it now.

Kounde might add to the list of Xavi's best choices for central defenders even though there are 6 central defenders at Barcelona so far. Óscar Mingueza, Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Piqué may be left this season from the main squad if Kounde is sign. But I wonder why Barcelona are chasing too many centre-backs while Alba also needs good protection at left-back.
If you look at the reports from Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have now reached an agreement with Kounde for a transfer fee of £50.5 million.
This is their third purchase at a price that is quite expensive at the moment after Lewandowski and Raphinha.
Umtiti has always had problems with his feet and we know Pique that he is still at odds with the higher-ups so it is clear that this will be a good opportunity for Kounde in the Core squad if he can join there.

btw I'm still thinking, do they really want to make this very risky by focusing on this season to win the title there? because if they don't, I can guarantee that their finances will be very chaotic.

After reaching an agreement with Sevilla, Barcelona is set to sign Jules Koundé. Barcelona definitely needed to strengthen their defense, so this is great news. A great job has been done by President Laporta in hijacking players to build a strong team. Barcelona team is handed Chelsea front and back. Right now, Barcelona is interested in signing every Chelsea player. A lot of players are being scouted by Chelsea, and some are being signed by Barcelona.

It has made me really surprised. Only four days ago I saw that Chelsea were closing in on finishing this deal. But now I see that it is almost done for Barcelona as Fabrizio Romano stated that with a tweet as well (https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1552310149527789568?s=20&t=rs93t6mYZigwEhyOE3VkwA). He says that Xavi has played a big role in this transfer. By this transfer, Barcelona will have stolen another player from Chelsea's targets indeed. And I've heard that Chelsea won't sell Azpilicueta and Alonso to them just because of this reason.

He just had a meeting with the club and has told them that he doesn't want to be a part of United anymore and is pressing for a move to teams that are in the Champions League. It seems like a really good opportunity for Bayern Munich to get Ronald's services for a fairly cheap price, since Ronaldo wants to move and it is public knowledge by now. Bayern just sold their prominent striker and Ronaldo could potentially play in that position alongside Mane. Would definitely bring up the quality of the squad for sure. At least on a bench role, if not as a starter. If not Bayern, how about Dortmund? with Haller out indefinitely.

In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo deserves better but at this time most of the teams are rejecting. May be high salary is the main reason. Teams which are playing UCL, there is a small chance to get huge playing time because there has good players already. I think he will stay in Manchester United.
In my own opinion, I think it is a bad idea if Ronaldo stays at Manchester united. This is because to me at a very important time he caused nothing but distraction especially for the new manager coming. Getting to grips with a new style of play and you can see the changes in attitude morale and comradery. Ronaldo comes back and as usual make it about him his legacy not the team or the teams rebuilding cause that's were we are at he doesn't get his own way he throws his toys out of the pram. His body language changes and that rubs of other players. They should let him go, if not now then when his contract ends.

Is it possible for Atlético to sign Cristiano Ronaldo? Whether it's Atletico Madrid or another club, we are concerned that the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Manchester United is fading. As a 37-year-old, he is still chasing individual records, but teams are now looking for team players. Suppose he is chasing the Champions League and ends up with a team that finishes 3rd in the group stages and goes straight to Europa. Cristiano, however, thinks differently. There might be a better plan in his head.

This is what Atletico Madrid's president said : https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1552005952777474057 . So they also have ruled out them being interested in Ronaldo. At this moment lot of talks going on inside Manchester with coach, agent, management, Ferguson  discussing about it and Ronaldo still wants to leave but at this point of time it is hard to find a club. Every big club in CL are already happy with what they have in that position.

There are rumors about Christiano Ronaldo joining Atletico Madrid, but the Atletico fans don't want him, so they have started a petition on Twitter. Grin I totally understand them. Ronaldo scored lots of goals against Atletico in the past. He's not the player he used to be, so he can't be a leader or a top scorer anymore. He will turn into a substitute player with a big salary and this isn't what Atletico Madrid needs right now.
The rumors of Ronaldo joining Chelsea are most likely false.
Rumour was just rumour. The same thing was happening once rumour about chelsea interested to brought ronaldo was pretty much the same like atletico madrid. The thing that makes it different is if all of these clubs were rejecting ronaldo. It seems like that ronaldo has no chance other than still stay at old trafford. So many rumours about him even some said that he will be going back to the real madrid but real madrid was also rejecting such rumour as well.
Ronaldo wanted to play champion league at all cost that is why he is so eager to play for any team participating in UCL, Atletico Madrid seems to be making an underground bid for him which eventually leaked out to their fans which prompted their protest, from some of their tweets they kicked against his signing which might affect other players and believe he is already in decline in term of his  performance and having previously played for their arch rival Real Madrid, from my own point of view Ronaldo should stay at Man Utd and play Europa league that is the possibility of him breaking more record in that competition.

Well that is another Chelsea target heading to the Camp Nou, crazy summer transfer market isn't it, i am pretty sure Chelsea will be sweating now on what their options are, they have less than two weeks till the league starts, and they are pretty far from being ready, either in defense or in attack, Kounde was on their radar for quite a long while, at one point we all thought he was going to Chelsea, but at the moment, it is almost certain that he is joining Xavi's men in Spain.

I don't know if it is TV right's money that has enabled Barcelona to spend this much in this window, we would see what the effects of all these will be with time; having said that, i think Barcelona are now strong enough to compete, it is going to be a very interesting season for them, i do not think they will struggle like they did at the beginning of last season, they have enough quality players to compete with the very best teams. As for Chelsea, i hope they do not go into panic buying and make mistakes, well there is still a long time before the window shuts, but it is much better to finish your transfer business before the season starts, i don't think that is possible for Chelsea right now, they'll prolly buy players, even deep into August.

Still shocking to me as Barça hijacked the blues deal, although the Sevilla haven't given Tuchel's side greenlight in the deal after dropping their bid last week. Sometimes I wonder how a club in debts are actively buying players in the transfer window. It's twice in the transfer window as Xavi's have beaten Tuchel to sign Players. First it was Raphinha from Leeds United where Chelsea reach the price tag for the player but Raphinha choose barça as his ultimate move. Kounde move to Barcelona will be a done deal in the next few days but Xavi's squad will be about competition to fitin inother to start games next season.
