I read today that Nemanja Matic was offered to Juventus. His best days are behind him and he doesn't have what is needed to improve an already weak midfield.

Fake news already denied from High tier sources for Juventus.

Pogba style of play is more suitable in the Italian League, Pogba plays little slow, and the Italian League also adopts a slow game. The English Premier League is famous for its hard game and relies on physicality, it is difficult for Pogba to develop the game because of the different stretches.
I think Pogba can adapt well to the Serie A league because they played in Juventus previously. When Pogba was a Juventus player, they were supported by many skilled players and he was given the full trust of the coach. In this situation, he has high confidence and is free to move anywhere he wants in the midfield line. It is easy to improve his game (performance) because he has a good mood. While in Man United, he can't get the same support as in Juventus, too much pressure in Man United. That's why he can't play as well as in Juventus. So, I think it is not about the characteristics of the league only, but it is about the support from the team as well.

It is interesting to hear that Manchester City are interested in signing Paul Pogba. They weren't even rumoured to be linked with him anytime before. He was linked with Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG all the time. If Manchester City enter the race too, things can get more interesting. As Pogba is going to be free agent as well, Manchester United aren't going to be able to prevent him from joining their rival club.

This is the 5th time they have bought players from the Championship division after Ben Davies, Shaqiri, Harvey Elliott and Andy Robertson.
indeed this is like a gamble because the previous 4 players they bought were only Elliott and Shaqiri who had performed optimally and for the other two names they didn't even hear their names anymore.

Are you talking about Xherdan Shaqiri?

I don't ever remember him playing in the Championship. He did play for Stoke city at one point before moving to Liverpool, but as far as I know, Stoke city was playing in the English Premier League during that period.

Fulham manager Marco Silva talking about their wonderkid Fabio Carvalho future that he said next season this player is not belongs to Fulham again because Liverpool already deal will bought him and actually Silva said too he personally do not want Carvalho leave and it is heavy decission for him to let Carvalho went to Liverpool but he can't do anything because the player himself wants to move to bigger Clubs
Fabio Carvalho reminds me a lot of a younger Coutinho; I actually thought it will be good idea to loan him back to Fulham next season.
I love to see if and how he adjusts to English Premier League with regular game time. I hope he’ll able to stick around and working with Jurgen Klopp will improve his game hugely.

Even though he is only 19 years old, Fabio Carvalho has become Marco Silva's first choice to appear regularly at Fulham. Even this season
Fabio Carvalho played quite well, scoring 8 goals and 7 assists from 31 matches. Because Fabio Carvalho has the same position as Coutinho,
it is possible that Carvalho will be the next Coutinho at Liverpool. But a young player like Carvalho must have a lot of playing time, to be able
to improve his playing quality. I don't know if he can get that much playing time in a big team like Liverpool, if not it's better for Liverpool
to loan back to Fulham, which is clear at Fulham Carvalho can appear regularly. Because if Carvalho spends too much time on the bench,
it will hamper his game development and if that's the case it could destroy his career.

There is no doubt Pogba is good talent and any team will be happy to have him in his team with now next month he is going to be free agent most chances he is going into some big team like PSG or Real Madrid because these both can handle him without any problem with most chances he is going to join Real Madrid because it's the best option for his remaining career.
The last time Paul Pogba played club football on a consistent high level was when he was at Juventus. He is now on a €17 million/year contract and most clubs don't want to play those types of salaries to players they don't know will perform. And Pogba is such a player. He only has himself to blame for that. It's being reported that he would accept a salary cut of €3 million, but he is still expensive.

Paul Pogba did play very well at the world Cup 2014 he had the backing he needed and was played at he's best position.
All he desires now is too win the champions league, I look at how poor Toni Kross and Modric played against Manchester City, I think they need a player like him there.
Matic might not have the pace no more, but you see ball recoveries and vision he posses that still. Players complement players, he might be old but Field him with right player's and see his performance.

I am not sure if Pep would be able to turn his personality around. I mean Pogba is not a bad player, I would love to see him in any team, when he plays for real he is not bad at all.

But, he has personality issues, usually doesn't get along well with his teammates, and has issues with teams he plays for and wants to constantly leave as well. Remember Balotelli? I mean he was such a talented player when he played, moved as high as City if I am not wrong, he was super talented, but he had personality issues and that is why I believe that he is nowhere to be found these days. Pogba may not be at that level, but he is not far off neither if you ask me.

With age, Pogba has changed quite a lot and now there are practically no scandals around him (at least I don’t remember anything serious in recent years). The fact that he has a difficult character is normal, in a highly competitive sport it cannot be otherwise. Guardiola has worked with such players (Ibrahimovic, for example, even if it was not the best cooperation) so if necessary, they will work together without problems.

Matic would leave and yeah looking at him it really does seems like age is getting onto him so I would say moving into Serie A might be good if it is true. He can still play but the thing is that he isn't that fast with reactions but has a good vision so Juventus maybe find use out of him in some areas but I still don't get their interest going after him.

I'm still curious about Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona. There was some gossip that he could go to United and that Barcelona would get 2 players from United in return. I believe Rashford, and I can't remember the other player. Ten Hag and de Jong have been part of a team at Ajax with great success, I think Ten Hag would really like to have him. If Pogba leaves, you should find a good replacement. Frenkie de Jong or Modric, but Modric will not leave real.

After Chelsea threw Tammy Abraham under the bus, he seems to have gotten his swagger. I think this is the best version of him we have seen, all thanks to Jose Mourinho. It's just his first season in the Italian Serie A and he has scored 25 goals already and also at Europa Conference, he scored the goal that gave Roma ticket to the final.
It's very appropriate for Abraham to boast in front of Chelsea who have thrown him away,  25 goals collection so far is very impressive and even if he continues to consistently score goals in Rome of course his chance to become the main striker of the England national team in Qatar will be open wide for him, I think abraham has managed to show his best performance under mourinho and this will make chelsea regret not giving abraham a chance all this time, rarely play in chelsea of course people think he is a bad player but today abraham has proven himself if the decision chelsea selling him is a stupid act, abraham who was bought from chelsea at a cheap price is now starting to be priced at 100 million pounds by roma to prevent abraham from moving to other clubs.

Yeah its a big opportunity for players to move into clubs where they can have good challenges like CL and get to face the best competition out there. It's same everywhere you can't change that. Although I do want to see what Klopp has plans with Carvalho, one for the future? Or just start giving regular chances right away (which I doubt)

I doubt Pogba will move to Man City, it is Man United rival and Guardiola seems not interested in a typical player like Pogba. Pogba probably moves to another league (Ligue 1, La Liga, or Serie A). If he wants to have a better situation and play with a new motivation, he is better to move to a different league. I think EPL isn't the right place for Pogba, he probably more fits to play in Serie A or La Liga. But he also has a chance to go to League 1 if PSG is interested to hire him.

In last few years he spends here in Premier League he has never been in good touch which is the biggest concern for him so now leaving this league and going into some other place is not bad idea for him with most chances La Liga is going to be the best option for him as his style is also going to be fit here in this league instead of going for in any other team here in Premier League or French League both are not going to help him with his style of playing.

I believe the player has taken the right decision. Obviously, any player is going to prefer playing for Liverpool rather than playing for fulham.  and I really like the fact that the club,  the present Club of the player witch is fulham, did not present too many difficulties for the player to move to Liverpool because that would have been a really bad act by the club. I respect a club that respects the player's decisions.

In this case, Liverpool have bought several players from the Championship division, especially young players.

Carvalho is a promising young player but the problem is that it will be a little difficult for him because it will definitely be very difficult for him to enter the squad.

This is a good example of leaving your comfort zone to explore outside.
He should be back to premier league some day you know back to be like KDB,Salah who came back and her doing very well.
Jose Mourinho is responsible for this, you can remember how he produced and took Drogba to another level.

Manchester City already have a lineup that is full of world star players. But they still can't make it to the Champions League title. Maybe it isn't the players, it is Guardiola's system. Because we all watched Ancelotti's system against Manchester City. They managed to eliminate Manchester City. Maybe they need a manager like Ancelotti, I don't know. But his system might not work well with the current Manchester City players. Anyway, I'm sure that Manchester City would still look for strengthening their lineup more and they'd start with adding Erling Haaland to the team.

-snip-
I do not understand what exactly Manchester City wants to achieve in having a strong and formidable first eleven, second eleven and third eleven.
A player like Grealish is now a second team player because of over squad.
I wonder where Guardiola will play DeJong, Haaland and Pogba if he gets all these players.
Well, it could be that it is not a preparation to lift the champions league next season. It could be a ploy to have different teams that will lift all the trophies in England as Jurgen Klopp is about doing this season.
I'm sure Mancity wants to win the UCL so they're extravagant in spending, even if this doesn't cost the team the same thing as PSG, they do the UCL hunt for the trophy, no matter how expensive a player they buy.
Pep Guardiola already knows their tactics will definitely design their new strategy next season with some new players, but by adding the squad I think his mentality is getting stronger.
For the EPL Mancity can master it every season but for the UCL it's very difficult.
