Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, will become the highest-paid player in Premier League history when he completes his move from Juventus to Manchester United. Will he also become the greatest player in Premier League history?  Grin

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/58371837

Most likely not. He is 36 years old and Premier League is still the toughest league around if you compare it to Serie A. If somehow Ronaldo pull through this season and become the top goalscorer, that would put a shame onto Kane's face lol.

lol, Of course even if they don't feel lost by releasing Mbappe for free, surely Madrid will really benefit from PSG's decision.

The reason why Real Madrid kept on pressuring PSG to accept their offer is because they know that it will be harder for them to sign Mbappe next year when he become a free agent. There are alot of other clubs out there that could afford to pay him high weekly wage so chances are Mbappe might even sign a contract with another club from Premier League

Transfer rumours:

Borussia Dortmund's Norway forward Erling Braut Haaland, 21, is another on PSG's radar should Mbappe move to Spain's capital. Haaland and Messi along with Neymar and other stars? What kind of atomic team would that be? Will that happen?
Juventus are interested in Hazard as a replacement for 36-year-old Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has joined Manchester United. Who will be faster and more skilful in this business, Juve or PSG?
Former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson played a big role in tempting Ronaldo back to Old Trafford 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid. It is an open secret that Ferguson and Ronaldo have maintained a very good relationship and it is alleged that a personal phone call from Ferguson ruled in Ronaldo's decision to come to Manchester United.
Manchester United's Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani, 34, is "still very much in United's plans this season" and there are "no plans to sell him" in the wake of Ronaldo's arrival. Very interesting decision, can they play together in the team?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/58363461
PSG are unlikely to sign the Norwegian, I think he is not in their interest because he is not experienced enough, although who knows, the transfer window will close in the next 24 hours, maybe teams will make a couple more cool transfers. As for Hazard, he's definitely not moving to PSG. Could not play at Real Madrid, unlikely he can at PSG, but that's my opinion

It seems like Manchester United are thinking of a late move for Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier. Atletico Madrid are demanding 40 million euros from every club which want to sign him. Manchester United have Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot as right-backs now. It is rumoured that Dalot might leave the team to join Dortmund. So, it would be better for Manchester United if they end the deal successfully.

Transfer rumours:

Real Madrid have given Paris St-Germain until Sunday to accept their bid for France forward Kylian Mbappe, as the Spanish club are not willing to offer more than 190m euros (£163m) for the 22-year-old. Will the clubs eventually agree or will this saga continue until next year?  Grin

Manchester United are planning to make a late move for 30-year-old England right-back Kieran Trippier, with Atletico Madrid said to be demanding 40m euros (£34.3m) for the former Tottenham player. Manchester United are bringing in a lot of new players again but will it help them to finally win the national championship?

Willian will become a Corinthians player in the next 48 hours after walking away from his Arsenal contract

The Gunners have been unable to attract suitors for the Brazilian midfielder this summer because of his huge wages.

Sources close to Willian insist that the Brazilian "wants to do the right thing" and is set to "walk away" from his contract, with Arsenal potentially saving £15-20million due to the early termination.

https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/arsenal-news-transfers-live-arteta-21429169

With how things are going at the Emirates no player would want to stay but they sure need to come up with a solution and fast.

Given how Arsenal started this season, they have every chance of getting into a protracted crisis - if the best players avoid this team, then I do not know what size of investments will allow Arsenal to return to the top of the English Premier League, especially given the enormous level of competition.

PSG look not need money because they are rich club and never get any deal for Mbappe transfer to Real Madrid, although PSG know next season Mbappe become free transfer player but never agree with Madrid price ask for mbappe, I think Real Madrid use fresh money to buy other player because guarantee Mbappe will be Real Madrid player for the next season.

Indeed, PSG do not need money from the sale of players, but when the player no longer wants to extend his contract, and there are clubs who are interested in the player, at least they don't waste the opportunity to earn extra money, even if it's not much for them. At least the money can be used to pay the gardener's salary. lol, Of course even if they don't feel lost by releasing Mbappe for free, surely Madrid will really benefit from PSG's decision.

Dortmund are interested in signing Chelsea's 20-year-old left winger Callum Hudson-Odoi. But it is said that Tuchel wants to keep him at the club. In the last season, he played in 37 matches in total. He got 5 goals and 5 assists. He is still very young and he still seems to be in Chelsea's plans. Chelsea maybe want to see him developing there and after that they might think of selling him for a really high price in the future.

I don't think Ronaldo is what he was. He still scores a lot of goals, yes, but many of these are penalties. I don't think he really improved Juventus when he was there, and yes he is getting older and towards the end of his career. He is still a good player, and will add something, but it's not enough to turn Man United into title winners.

I think a lot will be made of the fact that he is returning to Man United, but I don't think he has any special feelings or loyalties there... because a few days ago he was genuinely considering joining Man City, their biggest rivals.
I do not think United needed a lot to be title contenders, they were already title contenders in my point of view and they still are, not saying that they will definitely win it or they are the biggest contender out there, but being in the top three teams of a league usually means you are a contender.

With Liverpool having one big injury, or city having one, that is going to make United a bigger and possible championship contender (not championship league, champions of the premier league), so it is really a great transfer because they were already good, and they added someone to make it even better. Plus, I do not think that Ronaldo is washed as you suggest, dude is still Ronaldo and he can bring so much to the team, he is great on and off the floor as well, he could be both great while playing, but he could also be team leader to help the younger people on the team as well.

Question: Haaland next club?
Manchester City   - 11 (22.9%)
Real Madrid   - 15 (31.3%)
Barcelona   - 7 (14.6%)
PSG   - 2 (4.2%)
Other, pls. post   - 13 (27.1%)

PSG: no, because of Messi, Neymar, Mbappe.
City: I don't think the young and strong offense (Sterling, Foden, Torres, Grealish and Jesus) needs reinforcements.
Real: I see a small chance because benzema, bale and hazard are over 30.
Barcelona: Here I see the extreme gap that messi has left. Griezmann is 30 years, agüero + fati + dembele injured. With depay the only current strong player, that is too little. Something will have to happen at barca.

Welcome back 🙏
Haha, quite an interesting bluff, this is also makes PSG need to do something for this transfer, because so far only madrid is most likely to be able to buy Mbappe, like it or not they have to make a decision so they don't lose momentum to get money from selling mbappe. When madrid withdraws their offer, then madrid will start thinking about signing mbappe next season for free.

PSG is indeed one of the richest football teams in the world, even though they don't really need money but rejecting the potential income of 180 million euros is an unreasonable act. 180 million euros is not a small amount of money and with this money, PSG can buy another world-class player.

Maybe PSG has a reason why they still insist on not releasing Mbappe, maybe they still hope that Mbappe will change his decision and accept the contract extension offered by PSG, but I think this is very unlikely to happen.
Yeah exactly how can they refuse the potential income of 180 million Euros man does not matter how much rich the team is they could surely use those funds for the benefit of the team specially getting a world class player in the team could make their team a lot more strong.

Real Madrid are looking to sell Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and Rodrygo as they have started preparing for the arrival of Kylian Mbappe from PSG. As far as I know, the last offer for Mbappe was around €180m but I didn't see any answer from PSG side. They might want a price over €200m. But Real Madrid shouldn't have problem on paying that much also as long as they are decisive to end this deal this week.
And by the way, Juventus are interested in signing Eden Hazard. It is a nice coincidence and chance for them now.
psg never need money.
their business model kinda weird considering of the club owner is an oil king , no wonder if they ignoring 180m or even the 200m bid for mbappe , i didnt see this coming.
but when hazard officially out to juventus , this rumor could be near to a real mega transfer one 200m transfer fee that is insane modern football.
psg ruin these transfer market since its oil king era.
There is information that Paris Saint-Germain has targeted Haaland in this transfer window and seems to be ready to pay 200 million euros, so there is a high probability that they will not ignore all the proposed amounts for Mbappe. At least, the PSG president had previously stated that the club wanted 230 million for Mbappe and he did not change this position. There is also information that Real Madrid has issued an ultimatum, informing PSG that if the deal is not agreed by the end of August 29, the club will refuse this deal. Therefore, at least very soon there will be clarity on this issue. On the one hand, I agree with you about the destruction of the transfer market by Paris Saint-Germain, but on the other hand, I would like to ask you. And how else can clubs from other countries compete on transfer issues with Real Madrid, Barcelona and English clubs that skim all the cream from this market?

If there's anyone leaving Man Utd this season following the signing of Ronaldo, my best guess is Anthony Martial. Now that Man Utd squad is complete, they need to offload some of the dead weight.  My guess is that:
  • Martial leaves and Cavani stays.
  • Ole alternates between Cavani and Ronaldo for CF and other days, replace Rashford with Ronaldo for RWF.

Martial has very little to offer this current Man Utd team and I don't see why Ole should keep him and use instead of other players that are ahead of him in the perking order. Cavani will most likely leave at end of the season.

Just 3 days left, maybe all your mentioned could go on January 2022. for now, they can't do anything, I still confusing about the back number of Ronaldo, is he still use for 7?. because Cavani used that number. when he wants very much, possible Cavani give in for him, but the rule, that can't happen or another way is Cavani must go to another club.

Ronaldo is back at his best place at the moment, I'm very happy for him and MU. I hope he stays and retires there.

Le Parisien claims that Real Madrid have given PSG until Sunday to make a decision about their last offer which is €190m. The La Liga club don't think of offering more than this price.
This is the right step done by Real Madrid. They mustn't waste the time to negotiate for Mbappe transfer. If it looks like will be no deal, better to focus on another possible player. Or Real Madrid prefers to wait until Mbappe contact is over. Negotiating like this just makes PSG increases more prices for Mbappe, Real must give an ultimatum to remind PSG management about the last offer.

I think that PSG will accept this offer. Because they were demanding an amount around €200m. This is really close to that level
Who knows? I don't think it means automatically to be accepted, PSG management may decide not to sell him yet. As we know, PSG owner basically is a rich person, money isn't everything for them. But I have heard a rumor that PSG begins to look for the replacement of Mbappe if he really leaves the club. One of the targetted players is Richarlison. So, it indicates a chance for Real Madrid to sign Mbappe.

It was the thing that people were curious about whether Edinson Cavani would leave or stay as Ronaldo has joined the team. I guess that Ronaldo would play as a CF here in the end. But it seems like Cavani is still in Manchester United's plans. They will continue with him in this season also. But maybe they could sell him at the end of the season.

I agree with what Allegri said, Juventus is a great team that can progress without Ronaldo. It must be admitted that Ronaldo scored a lot of goals
for Juventus, but there are many other players at Juventus who are good and can score goals too.
Yes. He is correct. Actually, there are many other strikers in Juventus who have the ability to score as well as Ronaldo. They have Álvaro Morata, Paulo Dybala, Federico Bernardeschi, and Federico Chiesa that can replace Ronaldo's role in Juventus attacking line. Allegri just needs to give more chances and trust to them to play with their best performance. They have no problem on attacking line, so I don't think they need a top player to replace Ronaldo.
