Even if the Ligue1 is basically already over Roll Eyes Lyon got one new player.

It is official Shaqiri will join them.

Congratulations to Shaqiri and Lyon. Shaqiri wasn't my best Liverpool player during his spell at Liverpool but he's certainly not the worst either. He had some pretty good moments in Liverpool which I won't forget in a hurry especially that superb counter attack he assisted Salah with the long range pass than sealed our 3-1 win against West ham last season. He was also a pivotal part of our PL winning team in 2020.

Manchester City are preparing to make a final push to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane this week. Daniel Levy still seem to be decisive about holding on to him. Harry Kane played for Tottenham for the first time against Wolves but it was for a short time period. He still seems like he wants to leave if possible. I can feel the tension between Kane and Levy now. Let's see what we will get until the end of the transfer window.

Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams officially moved to Norwich City on Monday, on loan for a season, .
The 20-year-old passed his medical today, and will wear the number 21 shirt this season.
Shocked he didn't make much appearance last season I don't know if he was injured( anyone?) The young lad was one of the key left-back in Mourinho Europa league glory with manutd. Well this could be a good move for his playing time since Telles is the backup left-back to shaw.

Kimmich renews for Bayern to summer 2025 for me he is one the top 5 players in the world in his position.
He can play in multiple positions on the field and masters his roles in a excellent way.
One of the best decisions of the Bavarian administration is to renew his contract and not lose it, as happened with Kroos one day, as it was one of the worst management decisions in his time.

Spurs are in talks with Wolves for Adama Traore. I think it would be a great transfer given the attribute Traore possesses- his physique, his pace so it would be a strong man in wing which Spurs need right now. So I can see what Nuno is thinking there by adding another pacy winger in the team. Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, Son all have tremendous pace and adding Adama Traore in there would make their team extremely strong on counters. Now they just need to keep a hold on Kane and that's it- a perfect team.

Besides traore, actually Tottenham are targeting several wingers to strengthen their squad this season, tottenham hotspur are also trying to get Madueke from Psv eindhoven now, in my opinion, Madueke's performance at Psv eindhoven is no less good than traore, because apart from being young, Madueke is also a fairly fast and dangerous winger, until now Madueke has scored 9 goals and 6 assists.
But it looks like traore is a target player that will be easy to get by tottenham considering both traore and Wolverhampton have a close relationship with the current tottenham coach, namely Nuno Espirito Santo.

According to latest news Beşiktaş want Umut Meraş as left back. As you know Nsakala had a problem in the pitch last match and he may be unavailable for some time. Beşiktaş also need Turkish players because of local rule. Teams need to play with at least 3 Turkish players in all matches. Beşiktaş have a great attacking players but they are all foreign so Turkish players will be used in defense. Umut is a decent left back and I think he is better than Rıdvan, so I believe this transfer might be good addition to the squad.
Beşiktaş is also interested in Kaan Ayhan but Sassuolo don't want to sell him. I expect a transfer move this week, only one week left if they want to add new players to Champions League squad.

the latest talks over Mbappe mouve according to the Spanish network, "Defenza Central", Real Madrid still hoping that Paris will open the door to negotiations on Mbappe's departure before August 31.
The Spanish network indicated that Saint-Germain wants a lot for him for the conditions to agree to Mbappe's departure this summer.
It explained that Paris would request 150 million euros, in addition to two players from Real Madrid, one of whom would be Ferland Mendy or Casemiro.
Devenza Central said that at the present time, Real Madrid would not agree to the departure of Mendy or Casemiro.
I think the deal for 150 million + casemiro + mendy is not bad because of the players but because of the amount. I feel like if it was like 50 million + casemiro + mendy then Madrid would have accepted that in a second, which means that it is not about the players, but the fact that they will pay that much AND give two players.

I guess anything more than 100 million is a bad deal for them, they are going to get him next season anyway, why pay this much money to get him one season early? They probably already talked to Mbappe and they know if he wants to play for Madrid or not, and with all the talks about how him wanting to leave for Madrid even we know that he wants to go there. Which is why I honestly think that we are talking about some rudimentary thing here, why would real pay 150 million even without two more players, when they can wait for 1 more season.

Spurs are also in speculations about moving Ronaldo from Juventus. Portuguese connection.
If you look at Traore statistic in last year, he scored just twice and have few goal chances created. nothing special. he knows how to flash for a moment, but then becomes invisible for a few games. He is not a player for something more serious.

That's an interesting one. I think yesterday Juventus coach Allegri declined rumours regarding Ronaldo leaving Juventus so I don't think he is moving out of Juventus. Furthermore, I also don't think any clubs are interested on him maybe due to wages?

As for Traore, last season was a horrifying one for Wolves as they were not far from the relegation zone. Their main striker Jimenez had a skull fracture and had to sit out the whole season and Traore had to see a shift in his positions or play along side striker who was inexperienced- Fabio Silva. So I can understand the stats but I think Traore is a great player. I still recall the contribution he made in the comeback win against City and how he played part in that one goal.  Cheesy

And if City can’t close in on the Kane deal and Mbappe does leave on a free transfer next summer then maybe expect a plot twist.  Pep is desperate for an elite striker.

The City hasn't given up on Kane yet, I read just now that they are preparing a "final move" to convince Tottenham to sell him.

I'm predicting that Pep Guardiola's team will make a heavy counter-proposal to City, but still possible to be accepted of City... They know Kane's departure is inevitable they may not have another chance to make a big profit in a deal for this player.

Let's see how many "zeros" this negotiation will be.

Harry Kane wants to leave, Tottenham Hotspur can make a huge profit if they sell him in this transfer window. I don't think they refuse another big offer from Manchester City. It's only a matter of time we see Harry Kane in Manchester City jersey. We know that Manchester City need a great striker and Harry Kane is the best option they can get with a big chunk of money. Tottenham Hotspur should decide fast because if they sell him they have only a little time to find a replacement.
Tottenham will receive Manchester City's final offer for Harry Kane this week, according to sources. If the deal goes through, Tottenham Hotspur will be able to make a decent amount of money. The question is whether they will sell or keep the England captain. Apparently, Harry Kane is more in love with Manchester City than they are with him. It would be great to sell him and make good profits if his heart is not at Tottenham.

Speculation about Kane's move is still a good topic to talk about, but I don't think Tottenham will let Kane go this transfer season, because it will be very difficult for them to find a replacement for Kane at this time, especially  the transfer window is only a few days away. But as you say, if current Manchester City haven't given up on Kane and it's been reported that Manchester City have upped their bid by £150m to bring Harry Kane to the Etihad Stadium, would that amount of money make Daniel levy change his mind?
Of course all will be answered after the transfer market officially closed.

PSG can play hardball here, and probably will. They are a club that does not need any more money and as crazy as it sounds, I think they would not sell Mbappe for anything less than 150 mil euros even if they know that next season he can leave for free.

Nobody else can do that, not even City or Chelsea. PSG wants the CL and I think that 150 mil means nothing to them when Mbappe staying increases their chance of winning it.

^  I think real Madrid is lining up and getting ready to get him either on January or for free.  Real has not really been active in the transfer market, no huge acquisitions that I’m aware of at least.  And if City can’t close in on the Kane deal and Mbappe does leave on a free transfer next summer then maybe expect a plot twist.  Pep is desperate for an elite striker.

Shaqiri, who was also sought by Napoli in this market window, eventually settled with the French club.Shaqiri didn't perform bad with Liverpool: he collected 45 appearances topped with 7 goals overall.
He is one of those players that needs to find the right environment to give his best but Lyon could be the right place for him today.

I also think that this is by far not a done deal. Real Madrid isn't what it used to be and neither is Barcelona. He can now play with the best of the best. On paper PSG has a strong team and now it remains to be seen what they are able to make out of it. If you were Mbappe, would you go Real or Barcelona? Maybe Manchester City, yes, I would consider that, but the Primera Division won't by far be not as attractive anymore.

For a young player like Mbappe, performing consistently in a top, competitive league should be his target and the La liga isn't one of the most competitive leagues now that top players like Ronaldo and Messi have exited the league. My guess right now is that, Mbappe might still sign with Madrid but that won't be happening anytime soon. Maybe when his new contract (which he is yet to sign) expires. Until then, I reckon, he would want to stick with PSG and go on to win the champions league now that he's this close.

I don't know what their financial situation is, however I am guessing that if selling Laporte actually provides them with enough money to get Kane? Then in that case I do not care who their defensive players are at this point, they can cover that up with any player, could be walker, could be Fernandinho, could be a youth team player that is trying to showcase his talents at that point.

Giving Laporte and getting Kane is worth the risk we are talking about. Kane is by far one of the best strikers in all of premier league, which is a very big praise and definitely not one that many players can say in history, so if you can get him then we are definitely fine with whoever player leaves, that is good for City, they can get Jesus out of the way to make room for Kane all I care and that comes right after Jesus had one of the best games ever under his belt.

I cannot disagree more. Football is a game of balance, you cannot have a great offensive line and have kids from the academy or fringe defensive midfielders playing at centerback positions. Kane is great, yes, but even without him City is strong enough up front. Without Laporte they are risking too much in case if something happens to either Stones or Diaz.

City has a lot of players to sell - especially in the offensive positions. I'm not saying they should just give up on Kane, I'm saying they should try and sell other players instead of Laporte.
