Manchester Utd manager Solskjaer says they are still following Haaland to try signing him. They are also aiming to sign Jadon Sancho too. I think Manchester Utd could succeed in bringing Sancho to the club but it is doubtful when it comes to Haaland. There are many big clubs that are after him also and I see especially Real Madrid as more ahead to make it.

I personally hope it happens. Haaland is NOT ready for premier league and he will make OSG's headache at choosing Rashford and Greenwood even bigger with yet another young talent entering. Sancho and Haaland? Stars for sure but they need to develop more and they have not done that yet.

I say this because I am not a United fan of course;)

Lasse Schöne moved to Heereveen. After leaving Genoa he trained at Ajax but he got a contract at Heerenveen where he played at the beginning of his career.

It is fine that Bayern got one of the best upcoming defenders in the world, if you find a player and you convince both the team and the player you can get anyone, however it is really horrible that they got him for such a cheap amount from one of the richest clubs in their league as well.

Not like Leipzig needed the money asap or they were bankrupting, this is RB we are talking about here, they spent more money just on building the team with grounds and so forth, it is really sad that they allowed Upamecano to leave for a wealthy 42 million euro, which is a lot for you and me but it is really nothing for these clubs. I was expecting him to be at least 100 million honestly, not because he deserves that amount right now because he is not THAT good but the kid is just 22 years old, so you may pay 100 million now but use him for 10+ years which worths the extra amount.

bayern munich has now also announced the signing of another defender today. from fc reading comes Omar Richards and receives a four-year contract.

Another decent transfer from FC Bayern Munich. Omar Richards could be a great backup for Alphonso Davies as left-back. Although FC Bayern will lose David Alaba, the defense looks really good for next season. I am excited!

Omar Richards to Bayern is done. Hasan Salihamidžić sees Richards as backup for Alphonso Davies next season. Salihamidžić is pushing plans for next season's defense after he also secured Upamecano. Lucas Hernández is set to move to CB as Alaba replacement in the future [Bild]

Great defender Upamecano, it’s just a shame for the competitiveness of the Bundesliga that Bayern cherry pick all the best players.

It is really annoying that Bayern are literally collecting the best players and the other teams can do nothing against it. But I think Bayern are really the best team in the European leagues. I see that as a reason for why the players choose to go there mostly. Bundesliga are not my favorite though. I like the Premier League the most. For example, I want to see Messi playing in the EPL too.  Grin
there is a no club faster and better than Bayern in sealing up its deals, especially from the German League. A club that precedes everyone by one step and knows exactly what they need and how much they will pay.
Bayern Munich officially settles the Upamecano deal by paying the release clause estimated at about 42 million euros .The deal teaches how things done as the player was a goal For the biggest European clubs first and an excellent alternative to the Austrian Alaba who decided to leave for free next summer.

After Bayern Munich reached an agreement with Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano, Manchester Utd have started to search for a different alternative and they are targeting Sevilla's defender Jules Kounde (22) for the summer transfer window.

I guess Man Utd want to find Maguire a new CB partner.

Bayern Münich found some money. Good deal?

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1360317205041324038

Yet again, Bayern Munich proves their worth in terms of player recruitment by getting one of the best Defenders in the world in Upamecano; The deal was even done months ahead to sway off potential suitors from europe. Time will tell if its a good deal for the player and bayern munich
I do not really remember any time Bayern ever made a bad decision in transfers, maybe it exists and I just can't remember it but they have always been amazing when it comes to transfers. Plus paying only 42.5 million dollars for one of the greatest defenders in the league and probably a top player in the world as well, shows that they are not only smart at picking great players, but they also negotiate very well too because they manage to actually get players for cheaper than they are actually worth.

I would say Upamecano should go for at least 70 million, probably 80 as well, he is that kind of player and he is going to be their defender for maybe 10 years or so, if they keep him and he stays healthy and continues to grow, 10 years is good estimate maybe even more because dude is only 22 years old, he has so much in front of him and with this transfer that is on Bayern.
Bayern Munich have smart and brilliant ideas how to manage transfer player but this season many player for Bayern buy with higher price but have loss them free like Boateng and Alaba, I think last name David Alaba have great value if extended for Bayern Munich and many club wanna buy him, now Real Madrid, Manchester United together wanna get sign from David Alaba for the next season exactly for Real Madrid after not any confirmation with Sergio Ramos extended or not.

Liverpool are counting the days for their midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum to leave the club. He is 30 years old now. They are planning to replace him with Gladbach's young midfielder (23) Florian Neuhaus. He has had a decent performance so far (6 goals, 6 assists in 28 games).

Spain forward Diego Costa, who left Atletico Madrid in December, is in talks to sign for Brazilian club Palmeiras - the club he supported as a boy. It 's strange to me that he is leaving Europe, isn't that a step backwards in his career?

I think he should go to another nice club in Europe so in my opinion it could be a bad move for him. Some of nice players choose to go to USA or different countries after a certain age. We might see him at an Europe club again in 1-2 years. By the way, he hasn't had good statistics for a long time.

Borussia Dortmund's England winger Jadon Sancho is almost certain to be playing elsewhere next season but the German club have little chance of getting £100m for the 20-year-old which they demanded from Manchester United six months ago. It's obvious that the German club has recalculated and will earn much less on this business. Where Sancho will continue his career?
Bayern Munich have agreed to sign Liverpool and Chelsea target Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig, with the France defender, set to sign a five-year deal. Very good job for Bayern who always planned well.
Liverpool are preparing for the departure of Netherlands midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, and are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach's Germany player Florian Neuhaus, as a replacement. Is this a good replacement and a good deal for Liverpool?

I don't really rate him because I feel he can be too clumsy in possession, but it is overall a great deal for Bayern. Physically he's a monster, and he's fast as well.

Bayern are losing both Alaba and Boateng so they needed to bring a defender that is better than Sule and Hernandez. I think they did that.
David Alaba have issues will sign for Real Madrid next season after Bayern Munich not extended for hi sign and Boateng will be free transfer player at the end of this season but still not have any new contract giving to Boateng, I think bad for Bayern Munich loss two great wall defender Alaba and Boateng without any issues who will be new defender player for replace Alaba and Boateng, Maybe become most wonderful moment if Boateng and Alaba keep be the player for Bayern Munich.

It looks like Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is not under the danger of getting sacked for now. But I want to indicate that they got quite poor results in the recent times. They actually put up a good fight against Everton in Fa Cup. But in general, they are having big problems in the Premier League. In my opinion, he is not the most appropriate manager for Tottenham and they need a manager who likes to make the team play a more offensive game all through the match.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/jose-mourinho-safe-tottenham-despite-23484660
From your own impression, you believe Mourinho couldn't handle Tottenham? The Tottenham problem didn't start now and if could it started long ago when they are unable to win any major trophy since the year 2008 and haven't won the FA cup since 1991 but it shocked that whenever the team is having a problem the whole blame will be on the manager. They ought to let him stay till when his contract is over on Jun 30, 2023.

You're right about the thing that Tottenham haven't got a major trophy for a very long time. But in my opinion, their performance is way worse than before. I don't like Mourinho's playing style. It is not just about him. I don't like managers who prefer making the team play a more defensive game after scoring one or two goals. It is not good for Tottenham too. Still Son and Kane are playing great but the team can play much better than this.
You make a good point about Mourinho style of game but if you remember he does the same thing when he was in Chelsea and the club won a lot of major trophies. If the Tottenham official could give him more time and the players he requested for he will definitely make the best out of the team.
Mind you, we can use the suffering of today to judge the promising future and this is what some people look at in Bitcoin and sold when the market was at $1.

According to some rumours, Chelsea are looking for ways to bring Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen back to the Premier League. He hasn't been playing good since he left Tottenham. I think he was a big loss for Tottenham. If Chelsea manage to sign him, they are thinking of making a deal like they will send Jorginho to Inter in return.

https://www.calciomercatoweb.it/2021/02/10/calciomercato-inter-chelsea-sarri-eriksen-jorginho/

During his last season with the Spurs you will see that Eriksen wasn't playing as what he used to do that is why Tottenham weren't able to sell him on the price they were asking which I believe was 40 million Pounds back them and eventually they have let him leave for 27 million Pounds which is really a bargain for Inter. Now if right now Eriksen is not working out well with Inter I believe that he won't work out well going back to the premier league, maybe going onto a much lower league with a greater role like what Memphis Depay did is a better option for him. Going with Chelsea will just bury his value for good.
