Real Madrid may sell midfielder Martin Edegaard.

According to ABC, the Madrid club will consider a proposal for the Norwegian of 50 million euros and will try to include a buyback option in the agreement.

“Real” is ready to sell the player to “Arsenal” for this amount, but there are no offers to transfer Edegaard either from the Londoners or from any other club.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is counting on the midfielder and told him about it. Club sources say Odegaard is leaning towards staying at Real Madrid.

Edegor spent the second part of the last season at Arsenal on loan. In 14 games in the Premier League, he scored a goal and made two assists.
Odegaard is a talented midfielder. He's also much younger. He is only 22 years old. Instead of selling Odegaard, I think it would be better for Real Madrid to hire a league that can improve itself like the Bundesliga. Still, Real Madrid may need the money and €50M would count as a very good amount. I don't think there will be a team that can give that money to Odegaard, who didn't have a very good season at Arsenal last year.

Lionel Messi is on the closing on renewing his contract with Barcelona this summer. After his contract with Barcelona expired last June.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Barcelona reached in the last hours a final agreement with Messi regarding the renewal until 2026.
Sources close to Barcelona indicated that there were some marginal matters that were pending in the club's agreement with Messi, but they were resolved in the last hours.
The sources confirmed that Messi had already agreed to reduce his salary in the new contract by 50%.

The Spanish newspaper said that the official announcement of the renewal does not lack only an agreement on reducing salaries in Barcelona. And "Sport" added that Messi's contract renewal will become official in the next few days.

That's probably why Bayern is trying or spreading rumours about the possible interest of Juventus. Grin
Seriously though, if Juventus can't find the right (?) player for their midfield, I guess they can sign as much as they can afford...

Harry Kane did not show for training today from the spurs - man city is considered the only club that would pay the required €150 million transfer fee

Quote
According to unanimous reports in the English media, Harry Kane (28) did not show up at Tottenham Hotspur's training session on Monday. The captain apparently assumes a "gentlemen's agreement" with the club, according to which he may change despite a contract until 2024. Until now, only ManCity was considered a serious candidate to pay the price around 150 million euros.

Harry Kane should have supported Man City if he wanted to join them, so Tottenham will also be under pressure to accept an offer from Man City. The possible reason for Harry Kane why he is not attending training at Tottenham is because he wants to show his support for Man City and he started to feel worried that Man city will withdraw their offer and changing their target to Jack Grealish.

What doyou mean his support for City?  It’s more like he’s showing his discontent for the Spurs and how Daniel Levy is holding him like somewhat a hostage in the club.  But what Kane should’ve really done was not sign that new contract with the Spurs and left his options open.

I blame the agent.  He prolly talked Kane into signing the contract...

Three things that shows up to me. First of all Eredevise is almost always a good place to get young players and they always make a profit in transfers and that is why I never understood why they are not bigger, like why don't we see Dutch teams at the top of European competition at all times, after a while of making these kinds of profits isn't it more expected them to use it and buy super famous players and pay them big amounts and win many cups with that high paying way and eventually they will be known to be good so they will make more profit as well? Germany is still Germans, barely any profit/loss, they are taking care of it. Premier league lost so much money that it is obvious how unfair it is when it comes to premier league finance vs other leagues finances.

I think, Eredivisie isn't famouse or interesting because it's very rare for a team from this league to reach the UCL final. Then, star players from Eredivisie tend to be more famous after they leave their team and join one of the EPL, Serie-A or La-Liga. So, even though they could bring a lot of talented and young players, the Eredivisie were not in interest, as most of their stars had already left. A lot of fans need entertaint in football, playing style and strategy, Eredivisie, not meet these for now. Ajax most known team  from Eredivisie currently don't have star players like Zlatan or Huntelaar. Even they are have a talented players like them, then after few season, that players will go out to the leage i mentioned before. thats why eredivisie not famous IMO.

I think better to put the table like this to have a better look:

Indeed top 5 leagues shared the most expenditures with a huge difference between them and the others and even between them. EPL is like spending twice as much as the next in line. Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 spending 2x comparing to La Liga.
That simply reflects the economical situation of each club/country. We all know how much Barcelona and Real Madrid suffering. PSG is boosting Ligue 1 statistics and EPL contracts are ridiculously hyped for some players.

will Thilo Kehrer (psg) return to the german bundesliga?

Quote
Bayer 04 Leverkusen is still in need of defensive personnel and would like to kill two birds with one stone - a player for the defensive center and the right side. The Leverkusen club is focusing on two professionals for this purpose: DFB international Thilo Kehrer (24, contract until 2023), whose future at PSG doesn't look too bright, and Ecuadorian international Piero Hincapié (19, AC Talleres, contract until 2025).

Aston Villa has a great window of opportunity to sign new players, in any case, Grealish gave his best years to his native club and now both the club and the player himself can now deal with their future development.

Let's be real. Aston Villa can get the money from Grealish transfer but who will they sign? It's clearly not an attraction zone. High profile players don't want to play there. They know they can't get any cups with Villa. You can only get unambitious Tier B players with money. I don't think Aston Villa have a plan to be in Top 6 teams in Premier League anyway. They will have another season ending in 10th-14th spots.
They'll just get the money and rethink their financials. They don't need to replace him, they can live without him as they're not a top tier team. Every year they survive in EPL, never showing much consistency. Presidency's happy to have made a huge profit that will get internalized. As you were saying I highly doubt they'll find a decent substitute for Grealish.

And people suggesting that Aston Villa probably doesn't need that money
who doesn't need 100M? 😂 people saying that are just salty that a top class player is going to Man City. But 100M might be what the villans needed to finally push for something more than a mid-table position at the end of the season. Hopefully [and if the deal goes through] they'll spend that money on good signings, i've seen way too many teams waste that kind of money on nobodies who bring poor results.

If I were part of Aston Villa board, I'd suggest signing Coutinho (Barcelona), Belotti (Torino) and Bakayoko (Chelsea). Barca want to get rid of the brazilian and Villa would need a creative player, belotti's contract is expiring very soon and bakayoko doesn't have a place in Tuchel's team, plus he would add some muscle in the midfield. Good signings, eh?  Cool

They'll almost certainly get all the mentioned player for maybe less than 100M, although the wages might be seem an over stretch but that's definitely a smart move and other teams would consider them to mean business. Keeping on to Grealish with 100M on table is pretty dumb to me, to be candid!

Aston Villa can get the money from Grealish transfer but who will they sign? It's clearly not an attraction zone. High profile players don't want to play there. They know they can't get any cups with Villa.

Getting a top tier coach gets you players attention, No big players would really consider Arsenal now unlike a few years ago, Man City was once an unattractive zone too, with even 100 you'd sign quite a number of players across Europe who would do anything to play in the PL.

FC Bayern is still trying to sell its midfielder Corentin Tolisso. It looks like not only Juventus Turin are interested in signing him, but also West Ham United. According to transfermarket.com Tolisso's current market value is about €20m and Bayern is willing to let him go for a price in that range.

In addition to Juventus, Corentin Tolisso's name is also linked with a potential move to West Ham United. Bayern have not lined up a replacement for the Frenchman so far. The club wants to avoid the scenario of another player leaving for free [@SPORT1]

I would really welcome a transfer of Tolisso, as he was never able to really show his full potential at FC Bayern (even though he was often injured, of course). Hopefully one of the clubs will pay the €20m and we can finally get rid of him.

Where do you hear the information? I think it is a rumor only, there is no way that Man United to sign Haaland. Besides the price is too expensive, there are many competitors to sign Haaland. I doubt if Man United management wants to spend $£100 million more for a single player. AFAIK, Man United isn't a typical club that signing a player at a very expensive price. They are a bit different than Man City and Chelsea. Also, I see no reasons for Haaland to join Man United since they are difficult to win any prestigious trophy with the current squad. I don't underestimate Man United, it is in my viewpoint.

As far as I understand, the club has already agreed to the terms of the transfer and now the choice is up to the player himself, whether it is worth changing the club that brought him up and gave him a start in life and go to a new level, which is presented by such a super club as Manchester City. Josep Guardiola has already adapted to the conditions of the English championship and is eager for the Champions League title and Grealish can help in achieving these goals.

It is really a weird situation that we get to see these high numbers for players and think it is normal, it is not normal, 100 million for just one player, did you know that you can build top of the notch everything perfect and latest high tech hospital with it

Seriously, this is football transfer thread so what are you expecting? These numbers are actually small because most of us are still waiting for that mega transfer to happen. Its either Kane or Haaland and the amount would be atleast 150 millions for either of them

In 20 years from now on, there could be a new rising star that would be worth atleast 300 millions or more so get used to it. These numbers are part of the entertainment in football industry and it will keep on increasing, thats a fact.

it just makes me realize how unfair the world is for people at the top and people at the bottom, the difference is so funny that it is not even funny anymore.

Life is never fair get used to it. I'll give you a perfect example for that although it is off topic. Elon Musk decided to spent his money to send people to Mars instead of using all those money to help the world

Starling, Kane and Grealish in the starting line up of Man City will be very potent in the attack and their midfield difficult for any team to handle,  pep is probably aiming to win UCL this season after losing the last edition final to Chelsea

They didn't win it with De Bruyne, Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus and Aguero in the front and throwing a bunch of new faces on the pitch probably won't help either. It all comes down to Guardiola's tactics and playing style (e.g. how did he manage to get beaten three times last season by Tuchel?)

Jack Grealish: Manchester City make £100m bid for Aston Villa and England midfielder

According to this bbc report Man City are in for another surprise bid this time tabled a bid of £100 million if the bid is sealed that will be a record signing in EPL is Man City following financial fair play? the club is almost spending £200 million on Kane and Grealish despite the low income from other clubs due to the pandemic.
Starling, Kane and Grealish in the starting line up of Man City will be very potent in the attack and their midfield difficult for any team to handle,  pep is probably aiming to win UCL this season after losing the last edition final to Chelsea, interesting let see if Aston Villa will allow Grealish their most outstanding player let go with that mouthwatering offer of €100 from Man City.
It is really a weird situation that we get to see these high numbers for players and think it is normal, it is not normal, 100 million for just one player, did you know that you can build top of the notch everything perfect and latest high tech hospital with it, on the other hand, did you know you got get nearly 20 of that made for 100 million? So, we are talking about a hospital with thousand sick capacity at any moment, with the utmost high technology, cutting edge stuff, and 20 of them all around the country.

One player for all of that. I get that we are tired of hearing these type of comparisons, it is entertainment, entertainment worths money and I get it, but every time I see these it just makes me realize how unfair the world is for people at the top and people at the bottom, the difference is so funny that it is not even funny anymore.

What do you think with Arsenal transfer window in this season? I see they have bigger budget for uknow player, although Arsenal success get many player but looks not have any potential player success get by Arsenal, many player not interested playing with Arsenal because they not participated on Champion league or EUROPE league.

What I think Arsenal lack is a leader first of all. Xhaka could be a leader but tends to be aggressive most of the times. Secondly a good poacher is what we need. Lacazette is a good striker but we need another option as poacher who can deliver when things are difficult. I think rest we have everything we need. A good central defender will also we need. That's all that I can come up with now.

That's actually smart. Right now they are going on for star of Bayer Leverkusen Leon Bailey. Every thing seems to be almost completed in that. Yeah sign players who are good but aren't getting much chances.
