Furthermore, there are obstacles for Liverpool to sign David. The Reds have to free up their overseas Brexit quota to bring on the CanMNT striker. Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi are for sale. Lille would want to at least recuperate the fee paid to Gent last summer (€27m). Despite Lille's financial problems, the Ligue 1 champions would want at least his market value (€35m) to agree to a transfer.

As the article says and it's a fact from now on, Brexit brings changes that affect all the teams including the Reds. So, if they want to sign David, they must first sell someone from their transfer list. I really don't know though if it's a good idea to loan some out, since they will be legit to their FFP regulations as well...

Granit Xhaka's Arsenal U-turn seem to be a shock to Arsenal fans.It was reported that Xhaka is very close to joining Jose Morinho's  side,Roma.According to reports,Morinho Identified Granit as a priority to boaster his squad next season, and a deal was reported to be very close after agreeing personal terms, but the deal is said to have collapsed after Roma failed to meet Arsenal's valuation of the player.
I was a bit disappointed when I heard Xhaxa rumoured transfer move to Roma however I am now pleased that the move wasn't sealed, Xhaha has been a very good midfielder in Arsenal and occasionally deployed as a left back he is an asset that shouldn't be allow to let go at this point in time when Arteta is trying to strengthen the squad, we all know him with accurate shots on goals and final passes which can change games recall his clever pass that resulted to his country equalizer in the just concluded Euro2020, I he has more to offer this season  athough he more aggressive and prone to bookings I believe he will change that attitude.

Xhaka is a really great player but it is kinda weird to see him play at arsenal and then compare that to his performances in the national team. During the EURO 2020 he was one of the best players of the tournament for me and he was one of the main factors why switzerland managed to beat france in the round of the last 16. When he plays for arsenal though he seems like a completely different player most of the time to me. It seems that even he appears to be such a tough players that he is also very sensitive and needs to feel appreciated and valued and that seems to be the case in the swiss national squad but not at arsenal. I hope that he and arteta find a way around that so he can show some great performances at arsenal too.

Then Firmino for sale? It is a good idea to bring in some young player for future but they already have two players Jota and Firmino playing upfront. I don't see any transfer news regarding Firmino and Jota just came in and has impressed so far at Liverpool ever since he arrived so I don't think in any way he would. Oh maybe selling Origi will free things up.

Chiellini has signed a new contract with Juventus for 2 years, until 2023. I think Chiellini is one Juventus of Legendary, he creates many achievements among 9 scudetto, 16 years is a very long time, I'm also happy Juventus make him new contract despite his age is not young again. at the moment, Juventus has got for replacement Ronaldo, Kaio Jorge the young boy from Santos, but he still need have a lot to learn from Ronaldo which finished the contract in June 2022.

Chiellini is a living legend to me. He is an awesome player. His outstanding performance at Euro has fascinated me. He is also outstanding as a captain. Stays mentally cheerful and helps players to be mentally tough.
Is it at all possible to get a replacement for Ronaldo? Kaio Jorge is talented, it looks like his future is very good. If Ronaldo guides this young boy properly then maybe Kaio Jorge will become experienced.

Real Madrid may sell midfielder Martin Edegaard.
Are you referring to Martin Ødegaard?
Why don't just loan him to another club? It should be better than selling him now.
He is one of the most promising attacking midfield in Real Madrid. He showed a quite good performance in Arsenal in the last season. His value is also always increasing, he is a Real Madrid asset. There is no reason to sell him right now, just consider loaning him if Ancelotti doesn't want him on the squad.

Lionel Messi is on the closing on renewing his contract with Barcelona this summer. After his contract with Barcelona expired last June.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Barcelona reached in the last hours a final agreement with Messi regarding the renewal until 2026.
Sources close to Barcelona indicated that there were some marginal matters that were pending in the club's agreement with Messi, but they were resolved in the last hours.
The sources confirmed that Messi had already agreed to reduce his salary in the new contract by 50%.
The Spanish newspaper said that the official announcement of the renewal does not lack only an agreement on reducing salaries in Barcelona. And "Sport" added that Messi's contract renewal will become official in the next few days.
Are you sure that this endless soap series can be considered complete? In any case, Messi must agree to a salary reduction, because these are the new post-pandemic realities and requirements of La Liga. How this will be formalized is a completely different question, over which the lawyers of the Barcelona club have been fighting for several months. As far as I understand, all payments worthy of the level of such a big player and a club legend are spread over the years and taking into account the subsequent move of Messi to the United States of America, so I would advise to treat with great caution the rumors that say that Messi will earn as much as before the academy times. The market has narrowed and I am not sure that Barcelona will finish finishing its club budget even for such a player.

very lucky juventus can get kaio jorge at a fairly cheap price from santos, this season kaio jorge has appeared quite impressive by having recorded 6 goals and three assists in 23 matches for Santos, i saw kaio jorge match on youtube is quite good skill and my opinion Kaio jorge will be a mainstay for the Brazilian and Juventus national teams later, what I'm surprised is with Santos' decision to accept a transfer proposal from Juventus, while Juventus reportedly only paid a transfer fee of 3 million euros to Santos and the payment will be made Juventus twice, each 1.5 million euros this year and 1.5 million euros next year.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/15744530/arsenal-everton-transfer-schalke-matthew-hoppe/

According to the source, Everton and Arsenal are monitoring Schalke's young forward Matthew Hoppe (20) now. I feel like Hoppe really has a good potential. He got 6 goals in 22 games in the Bundesliga in the last season. As long as he continues to improve himself, I believe that he will be much more deadly on finishing. Arsenal and Everton both would make a good use of a promising CF.
Arsenal has been doing well in this recent transfer season, but I don't think that Hoppe is the type of striker Arsenal should go for, no doubt he's a good player but Arsenal needs a striker with much more experience, Everton will be a good place for him because I don't see him benching either Lacazette or Auba, Arsenal would have drawn the attention of top quality players if they had qualified for ucl

Let's be real. Aston Villa can get the money from Grealish transfer but who will they sign? It's clearly not an attraction zone. High profile players don't want to play there. They know they can't get any cups with Villa. You can only get unambitious Tier B players with money. I don't think Aston Villa have a plan to be in Top 6 teams in Premier League anyway. They will have another season ending in 10th-14th spots.
They'll just get the money and rethink their financials. They don't need to replace him, they can live without him as they're not a top tier team. Every year they survive in EPL, never showing much consistency. Presidency's happy to have made a huge profit that will get internalized. As you were saying I highly doubt they'll find a decent substitute for Grealish.
They do not have to replace him directly, they can replace him with 3-4 different players. I remember from "moneyball" movie (and that was based on real life) they had a great hitter, but he got bought by some other team, so they were down a great player but only one, what did they do? They replaced 3 worse players with 3 better players to cover the difference.

So let's assume Grealish goes, and they get 100 million for it, they could spend 25 million for 4 different players and improve 4 different places, 1 will be place Grealish played so that will be worse but 3 others will be better than what they have now, so that 3 total getting better could "hopefully" will cover that one worse.

Didn't have a good season? I disagree!

This loan to Arsenal wasn't "very good" for Real Madrid... because in my opinion, the boy showed that during this loan period he was able to have a great season and impressed at Arsenal. Despite the amount that Real Madrid stipulated for his sale, I believe that Odegaard will return to Arsenal.
I would also like to see him at Real Madrid this season, that's of course if he really gets more time on the field and can play as he deserves, but I think that's tricky to happen.
yes, if odegaard pushes on real madrid I don't think he will get enough playing opportunities because the number of midfielders in real madrid now is still very large and they have quite famous names like kroos, modric and casemiro besides that there are also isco and lucas vazques . and these names cannot be underestimated because their performance was quite good last season.
if odegaard pushes on real madarid i think he will be difficult to compete with the names above.

Some sources claim that Manchester City's pursue for Kane will most likely end if they are able to sign Jack Grealish. But I don't see the relation between these two situations. Kane is a CF but Grealish is a winger (LW). I guess they meant that Manchester City wouldn't like to spend a great deal of money again. But Manchester City are a very rich club as we all know. I've no doubt that they have an amount which can be enough for signing them both.

I think better to put the table like this to have a better look:
https://i.imgur.com/HAm3I4m.jpg
Indeed top 5 leagues shared the most expenditures with a huge difference between them and the others and even between them. EPL is like spending twice as much as the next in line. Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 spending 2x comparing to La Liga.
That simply reflects the economical situation of each club/country. We all know how much Barcelona and Real Madrid suffering. PSG is boosting Ligue 1 statistics and EPL contracts are ridiculously hyped for some players.
Three things that shows up to me. First of all Eredevise is almost always a good place to get young players and they always make a profit in transfers and that is why I never understood why they are not bigger, like why don't we see Dutch teams at the top of European competition at all times, after a while of making these kinds of profits isn't it more expected them to use it and buy super famous players and pay them big amounts and win many cups with that high paying way and eventually they will be known to be good so they will make more profit as well? Germany is still Germans, barely any profit/loss, they are taking care of it. Premier league lost so much money that it is obvious how unfair it is when it comes to premier league finance vs other leagues finances.
Dutch teams are doing the Dortmund strategy, training and making good players then selling them with profits. Unless they got many extraordinary players that fails to sell at once they will struggle competing in European leagues.
For EPL, teams there earn a lot from broadcasting, many have rich owners so it is normal to see them spending way more than making the money in Wink

Odegaard is a talented midfielder. He's also much younger. He is only 22 years old. Instead of selling Odegaard, I think it would be better for Real Madrid to hire a league that can improve itself like the Bundesliga. Still, Real Madrid may need the money and €50M would count as a very good amount. I don't think there will be a team that can give that money to Odegaard, who didn't have a very good season at Arsenal last year.

What doyou mean his support for City?  It’s more like he’s showing his discontent for the Spurs and how Daniel Levy is holding him like somewhat a hostage in the club.  But what Kane should’ve really done was not sign that new contract with the Spurs and left his options open.

I blame the agent.  He prolly talked Kane into signing the contract...

If a player is interested in the offer of another club that wants to sign him but his current club doesn't want to let him go or set a higher price for him then the player must show an intention to leave so that the offers made by other clubs can get good results and his desire to join that club can be successful.

I think, what Harry Kane did by not showing up at training is to show an attitude of wanting to leave Tottenham and this is a signal he wants to show to Man City that he also wants to join Man City.
