I do not think that De Paul went for cheap, those type of clubs can't request like 100 million type of prices, that is just not possible for Udinese. At the end of the day there is just facts of life that smaller clubs can't request a lot of money. However De Paul wouldn't have worth THAT much higher neither, he worths around 50-60 even at the best of clubs, and that is why I do not think that this was as cheap as you make it out to be.

Besides the Covid pandemic situation, 35 for De Paul is a very cheap price, almost strange for a player of his quality.
Maybe Atletico and Undidese will do more operations in this session.

I think De Paul without Covid was easily a 50m € player.

Benzema + Lewandowski playing together? This will require a new tactic but might be a good combination Wink
I would say Benzma and Lewa would be perfect together because Benzema is not just a pure striker and he can pass very well, and having Lewa there to finish would be amazing help for Benzema, but do Real really want to spend that much money to buy a player who is that old? I mean I would rather keep focusing on that Mbappe deal, it is wildly known that Mbappe wants to leave, he feels like he could win with another big club and will fail with PSG and this last two seasons didn't really help neither, he wants to join other big names.

Real could be a way for that, but City would be even better, those type of teams could be better suited for Mbappe but PSG is also trying to get as many good players as they can this year in order to get better in one offseason and get the champions league title. I say there is one more year for Mbappe, if this current PSG doesn't win anything then he is out.

Dortmund has scored dozen of talented players who are contested by other team in Europe at the moment. Haland has so far been reported to have attracted the interest of many team who gave Dortmund the opportunity to profit from the sale. However, it is possible that Haland will be retained considering the season will start in mid-August while there is no suitable replacement for Haland's position. Haland will be for sale, but not for now I guess.

They are known for this. They right now still have lot of talented young players potential of becoming stars and being hunt down by big clubs in future. Take Jude Bellingham for example. Such a young talent and has represented England and right now transfermarkt shows market value of almost 50m Euros. There is furthermore young players like Reyna, Moukoko. Dortmund have really good scouts and they have been investing quite well lately.

Actually for Haaland, they have someone in striker place but yeah not a suitable some are young and some are old but no one near the form as Haaland is in. Right now, reports are that Dortmund are in stance that they won't sell Haaland and I think it is gonna stay like that for 2-3 years more.

I've heard that Chelsea are preparing to offer Tammy Abraham as part of the deal to sign Erling Haaland. Dortmund have been seeming really decisive about not selling him this summer. They must get a really good offer to think about it. And giving Abraham also doesn't make the offer more attracting I think.
Halaand and Abraham swap deal would make sense for both team, Abraham is a proven striker, Dotmund would be getting a good deal considering what Abraham has achieved in the EPL, his goal history is very good and Haaland on the other hand would be a great addition to the Chelsea team, they needed that killer striker and Halaand is the man. Great deal if it goes through. With Giroud leaving Chelsea for Ac Milan Chelsea will definitely go all way to make the Haaland switch a priority.

Yeah, he is a decent striker though. Especially his time at Aston Villa was really great for him. He scored 25 goals in the Championship in that season. After he's come to Chelsea, he hasn't been doing bad also. He's been better than Werner at Chelsea at least. But I don't know whether Dortmund would say OK to this deal now. I guess we will learn about it soon.

Raphael Varane and manchaster united have agreed on a transfer - if real madrid still wants to get a transfer fee for the player, they have to sell him already this summer.
in one year he would then be move without a transfer fee...

Raphaël Varane to Manchester United has been the subject of speculations for months. Reports now indicate that the Real Madrid defender could soon be on his way to England. According to a report by RMC Sport reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi, the Red Devils have agreed personal terms with the 28-year-old. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also tweeted that there has been contact between Man United and the Varane camp.

De Paul going to Atletico for only 35 euros! It is a coup and a terrifying gift for Simeone, who loves this type of fighting player.
I just saw De Paul, how he make Argentina to be champions for this year. I don't know why The other clubs like Manchester City, PSG and real Madrid didn't move fast to get his service. I congratulate Atletico they going to get big profit, who knows until next year the price could be 3x.

So long story short this was a good deal for Simone and ATM and that's about it, I doubt that they could repeat but they are trying their best to get as many good players as they can with the money they made in order to keep the streak alive and be top 3 next season guaranteed, sure Barcelona and real could end up playing a lot better next season and end up one and two but at least ATM will be three if they keep this up.

Leicester City have announced the signing of left back Ryan Bertrand on a free two-year deal following his departure from Southampton.
Bertrand spent 7 seasons with Southampton, during which he participated in 240 matches.

A new development regarding the future of Kieran Trippier.
He is still receiving great interest from Manchester United during the current summer. According to The Sun, Trippier wants to return to the Premier League, and will inform Atletico Madrid officials of his desire to leave this summer.
Atletico Madrid had previously rejected an offer from Manchester United this summer regarding Trippier, but the situation has now changed following the request of the English player. And the British newspaper pointed out that Atletico Madrid is ready to give up Kieran Trippier, if he receives an offer of 30 million pounds.

There was strong news about Chelsea's desire to sign Haaland, in the current summer Mercano, which worried Dortmund fans, who wanted the first-team star to continue for at least another season. But Dortmund already sold Sancho this summer I don't think that they are obliged to sell Haaland.
It's true that Haaland has a release clause in his contract, worth 75 million euros, but it will not be activated until next summer. So he could be available next summer for less money but I don't think that it's going to be a big matter for them.

According to Goal.com, the Spaniard will be on loan for two seasons.

Milan will pay him the full salary and will not receive the player's ransom rights. The estimated costs of the club are estimated at 3 million euros.

Tammy Abraham would be much more suited to a team like West Ham than Dortmund. I believe Dortmund probably feel the same way about the proposed deal. Its much more likely that Chelsea would need to offer around the valuation of Haaland i.e 170 million or the equivalent with a player that suits Dortmund, and cash to make up the amount.

Personally, I don't see Haaland moving this season, and it'll depend on how he performs this season whether or not he will get a move next season. Real Madrid, PSG, and Barcelona are probably the only clubs that could realistically afford him, and that's assuming the Spanish teams can sort out their wage issues, which looking at Barcelona offloading players just to resign Messi at a pay cut, probably isn't going to happen for a long time. Not until quite a few more of their players are off the books.

Paris Saint German are making great move this summer so far. Until now all these are lovely additions but if this sighings means them to win the UCL, they are making huge mistake. They will still find it difficult to win Champions League Trophy, just my thought.
They arguably have the best team in the world on a individual basis. Why wouldn't they be buying players to win the Champions League? They already have success within France, the only thing that's escaping them right now is the Champions League, which to further their chances of winning it, they probably need to keep investing, and improving their team like any other.

Antoine Griezmann should move out off the Spanish La Liga.
Its high time he moves to a new League and plays at he's best form.
Manchester City on the lookout for a replacement for Sergio Aguero.

Moving to Man City under Guardiola would almost be another grave mistake, it's going to Barcelona 2.0 all over again, Greizmann doesn't fit into such style as obviously witnesed in camp nou. He's better of at Man Utd, or a return Atletico might be better, imo.

I still dont understand why PSG even signed donnarumma this season.Kaylor Navas was one of the best players in the entire team of PSG some amazing saves this year.I know he is starting to get old,but still i think this is really early to get a new goalkeeper. But still Donnarumma is still very young and this is still a big signing from them

Cause they want to flex over everyone else.
Simple like this. Nothing more.

They have right now 9 Goalkeepers in the squad.

Over the last few years, I've seen PSG let go brilliant goalkeepers over the last few years, these are terrible transfer policies. Areola who also is a fantastic keeper is already keen on a move to West Ham, and Keylor Navas would also surely not be comfortable playing as the 2nd choice and that's why he left Real Madrid initially.

Why would it be difficult for PSG to win the Champions League trophy? La Liga teams are not in a position to compete fiercely for the Champions League. They have become relatively weak. PSG, on the other hand, are building a very strong and stable team for next season. Their forwards are stronger than the previous season. This season they want to strengthen the defense. With Ramos and Donnarumma joining the team, they have become stronger. They have the ability to win the Champions League title.

I would like to focus to AC Milan huge and unforgivable mistake about Donnarumma's contract. It should have been a huge priority to renew his contract at almost any given condition. Good for him and for PSG to start afresh but Milan could have tried to keep him playing in Italy.
When AC Milan started renewing all the other contracts but Donnarumma's one, it was clear to new European champion that his time in Milan was over.

What a coincidence in the Euro 2020. When Insigne, Verratti and Immobile play together in Azzurri. They all were grown up in Pescara.
You are right.
Things change in ten years. In 2011, Zdenek Zeman decided to entrust the hopes of Pescara to three young boys. Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne and Marco Verratti. One center forward, one left wing and one advanced midfielder. That was one of the most beautiful rides of an Italian Serie B team towards Serie A.

Fast forward ten years and they became European Champions, probably thanks to Zeman!

think so too. Griezmann was a very talented player. But he could not adapt himself to Barcelona's playing strategy. He should go to a new league. My idea is that the Bundesliga is suitable for him. Premier League teams play very fast, it is difficult to adapt new players here.

I believe the simple reason was Donnarumma was available on a free transfer, and at his age he can give PSG 10 - 15 year’s of football before they need to find a new keeper, and that’s a wise investment. Furthermore to elaborate his transfer value could easily be $50 - $60 million, hence even if they sell him later on they’ll get amazing returns on this deal hence a wise move in my opinion.

I think this is the most likely option too. IIRC even 2 years ago when United were looking for a replacement for deGea, they were also looking at this guy but his price was still too high at the time. It is all about long term cost for a goalie and I feel like this was simple math for PSG who want to refresh the squad.

Official Donnarumma to PSG.

They found the easy way to win.

Be promoted to president of ECA.
Spend infinite money probably violating the FPP.
Having 40 players in the squad.

It's definitely one of the best transfers that PSG have ever made I think. I checked their squad and I saw that they had 8 goalkeepers. But why? Do they really need that many GKs?  Grin  I don't know why they are signing too many players. They won't even be able to register them all in the end, right? It's hard to understand PSG's strategy.

The sole aim of professional players is to win trophies right?
Nice move to Paris Saint German Donnarumma.
I'm sure they'll get the League one title this season

5 more years with Messi, Barca secured the future. I told you Messi won't leave. Smiley

Yes, it was expected. I made decent money betting he would stay at Barcelona Smiley
He's been there since he was 13, he is loved by the fans and settled in the area. The issues that caused him to want to leave have largely been remedied. He has no need of a more lucrative contract, and there is no need for the world's best player to prove himself in another country.

He will likely stay at Barca for the remainder of his career... although there is still the possibility of a 40yo Messi going somewhere like the US afterwards.

He'll sure give he's best again this Season,i was expecting a move to Paris Saint German,i won't lie so the reunion between Neymar and Messi continues...its a wrong prediction from me then.
Five years signed, he'll win the Champions League one of this years.
Congratulations again GOAT.
