Transfer rumours:

Inter Milan are willing to sell Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen. Where he will eventually go? AC Milan, Roma or Lazio?
Brazil international Neymar has told Paris St-Germain he wants to stay at the club and talks have started about a new deal. Is it finally a sign that this football saga has come to an end or are some surprises still possible?
Will Isco really go to Everton?
Liverpool urgently need reinforcements in defense and it seems they want to bring in Perr Schuurs from Ajax.

These links with Koulibaly are from irrelevant sources. Liverpool has no money left to pull a deal for him during the winter window.

They will probably bring a centre-back, but I assume it will either be a free transfer, a loan deal or some stop-gap solution for a smaller fee.

There's an outside chance we might be interested in a deal for Alaba, his contract is running out in the summer so Bayern might want to sell to get some money during the winter window.

Koulibaly? In my opinion, no chance whatsoever.

The Alaba deal could happen, I think you’re right & he becomes a free agent in the summer. Bayern might be happy to get some money for him whilst they can. Nat Phillips was good yesterday but realistically we can’t have him playing there all season. Matip & Fabinho will be back soon, I’m desperate to see Thiago playing regularly too.

Liverpool continue to try to approach Kalidou Koulibaly (napoli) to fill the position of Virgil van Dijk who will not be able to play this season due to an injury he sustained. Liverpool are trying to reach negotiations as quickly as possible, so that by the next January transfer, Kalidou will officially become a player for the Reds.

@masulum Koulibaly is the perfect replacement for Van Dijk, and if Liverpool manage to get him then they’ll become very strong when Van Dijk returns from his injury.

There is already a transfer confirmed for the upcoming winter transfer window: Man City will sign the 18yo Filip Stevanovic from Partizan Belgrad (Soure: https://metro.co.uk/2020/10/31/man-utd-lose-race-for-partizan-winger-filip-stevanovic-with-man-city-set-to-complete-deal-13511571/).

Lets just hope he'll actually get the chance to play for City and won't be a part of their loan army and gets transferred from one club to the next all over Europe.

Can they even do market operation right now?
If I'm not mistaken you can't and you can be punished by UEFA if you are doing so.

The transfer market sessions are created for a reason  Huh

@coinlocket$ officially they’re not doing any negotiations hence they can’t be punished, but unofficially they’re sealing their deal and then they will purchase him once the transfer window opens in January this happens all the time.

AC Milan planned to re-discuss with Real Madrid about Brahim Diaz, the new proposal is Loan with Buy option or Buy for Permanent. Currently status Loan only without any option.

This is quite shocking news in my opinion, I think Stevanovic will join Manchester United. It turned out that Manchester City moved
faster to get Filip Stevanovic. Hopefully Stevanovic can play in Manchester City's main team, because some of the young players who
have brought Manchester City are usually on loan to other teams. Actually what a Manchester City needs is not a winger but striker,
seeing that some Manchester City strikers often experience injuries.

Transfer rumours:

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he gave former Germany playmaker Mesut Ozil "as many opportunities" as he could before leaving the 32-year-old out of his Premier League and Europa League squads. Is this definitely a goodbye and a parting?
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, whose contract runs out next summer, has downplayed speculation linking him with a return to Barcelona. It seems that it is no longer questionable that Messi and Pep will reunite, we just don't know yet in which club?  Grin
However, Barcelona will make a renewed attempt to sign 19-year-old Manchester City defender Eric Garcia in the January transfer window. It seems that Barcelona is going shopping in a panic again.

There is no guarantee that new president will be friends with Messi ~
Of course, it depends on who will be selected as the next president of Barcelona. Also, it should depend on what is the vision or the goal of the new president. If the new president can have no special plan for Messi and even Messi isn't one of the important ones in the club for the next season. I know that Messi has a big role in the team, but the new president may think that the club must have a new icon in the next season.

I do not see a guarantee Messi staying at the end of the season, he could be gone at any time.
Indeed, if Messi doesn't feel good playing in Barcelona anymore, he can go anytime. Moreover, if Messi has a problem with Barcelona management, he can consider leaving Barcelona very soon. Well, it depends on the upcoming situation.

The value of players is changing again.
Neymar is out from the top 3 world for the most expensive players.

Fun fact, the top valued player is Mbappè with his age, 21 but he can be a free agent in just 15 months.

In a world where players like Calhanoglu could get as much as 10+ from bad teams around the world in places like qatar or china, the only reason why these players play in these good teams like Milan is to have that reputation and not play in a bad team that nobody respects. Falcao is getting 6 million euro from Galatasaray, a team from Hakan's country, you think they wouldn't mind giving him 6 million as well?

If offer was possible they would kick Falcao to any qatar team or wherever they can send and in return pay 6 million to Hakan instead, so Hakan knows he can get the money from somewhere, it is not about "if" he could because he can. However he would rather get 5 million and stay in Milan instead of get paid 6-7 and play in china, but he wouldn't be accepting 3.5 million versus 7 million, that would be silly to leave that much money on the table, one or two? maybe but double? that's just stupid.

So when it's all about money for him he should probably go to China, Quatar or wherever. But there are other things you have to consider besides "just" money. Calhanoglu needs to have the ambition to play on the highest level possible to improve himself. He's only 26 and when he leaves Europe now, chances are that he will be out of the focus of both the media and his national coach. If I were him, I'd stay at Milan or find another club in one of the European top leagues.

There's no guarantee that the new president will be friendly with Messi and other club members. Mind you, Messi was not the only person that complains about Bartomeu's leadership Messi only makes his own criticism public cause he was the club captain and I am sure the person who will be the new president and his board won't want to make the same mistake done by Bartomeu.

That's right. He was the only one who went public about it, given how big his position at the club is. I'm sure lots of others weren't happy with how things were going, but it's silly to speak up when you obviously don't really have any influence, unlike Messi.

Anyway, I'm happy whatever the outcome, as long as the ship starts to stabilize and we get back to footballing as we should.

There is no guarantee that new president will be friends with Messi neither, nobody assumed this president would have such a big fight with Messi neither but it happened and now he is gone, nobod would want to work with a president who is having a fight with arguably one of the best players in history, so it was an obvious outcome when the fight happened but beforehand nobody expected that.

Maybe new president will have a fight with Messi as well? Maybe he won't be kind to what happened to this one and will want to prevent same thing happening to him so he could potentially lower Messi's influence over Barcelona or at least try to do that but may fail like this one too, who knows?

Barca president Bartomeu retired.

This is was fun guys, now Messi can stay at Barca till the end of his carrier.
Messi is not comfortable enough to stay and playing as energetic before at Barca. This is a good news that President Maria Bartomeu reports the resignation of the FC Barcelona Board but this doesn't mean from now Messi and entire team can start performing well and conquer the world of football. Actually we've been waiting for this for so long, let's see if there make any difference.

coinlocket is right in my mind. I do not know Barca or Messi well but this is exactly what Messi asked for and he got what he wanted. I mean to me as an outsider this is all it boiled down to, a rotten piece of the top level board,,, and now it is gone they can rebuild. Messi and others in the team at least can feel that evil eye gone from above.

Barcelona is actually in great chaos, both in terms of management and finances and needs urgent and fundamental changes.
These changes will not happen overnight and a new president and board will be elected in a few months.
This season is most likely lost for Barcelona and I’m not sure how much longer Messi can or wants to wait for something to change.
He is aware that his career is coming to an end and wants to win new trophies and not wait for a new beginning with a new management.
My bet is that Messi will go to Manchester City next season, for free, to join Pep  Grin

It looks like the contract negotiations between David Alaba and FC Bayern remain very difficult. Alaba has rejected another offer from FC Bayern. He continues to demand a higher salary (comparable to the salary of Lewandowski, Müller or Neuer). The German newspaper Bild reported the following today:

A third round of negotiations between Bayern and David Alaba's Agent Pini Zahavi took place in Munich on Friday, but still without agreement. Bayern have offered a 5-year contract instead of 4, but didn't increase their wage offer (€11m + 6). Offer was rejected.

For Alaba's camp, the fixed salary is still too low. The Austrian wants to be on a par with the top earners Lewandowski, Neuer and Müller. The Alaba camp also consider that Bayern didn't fulfill the promise made in 2016 to move the player to midfield.

The new contract negotiations have now become even tougher and the player can sign a pre-contract with another club as early as January [@SPORTBILD]
