Hopefully the UCL will come to Paris next season. He's an absolute leader, let's see if he can bring them their dreamed UEFA Champions League glory they seek for long.
One man don't bring a trophy its a collective effort from the team PSG had the players needed to win the champions league I think their problem is selfishness in their games and most of the time they are being unlucky, they have been close to the champions league for the past two years now but end up screwing things up, Ramos is a winner no doubt, he would bring some sort of leadership to the backline but if the coach is shit nothing would change

^  I couldn’t see Ramos move to another tough league to play out his remaining years before retiring.  So yeah, PSG is a possbility.  MLS is also a possbility.  If he wants lots of money, China.  And maybe even go to Roma under Mourinho..?  How’s his relationship with Mou?

China isnt like it used to be after covid o most all of the teams have let go of their best players . All international players o most left their clubs after last season ended. You can see how Beijing guoan lost 7-0 in their champions league games and they were playing with all chinese players. Ramos is going to PSG i think there is no doubt

I think his preferred destination is  PSG.Roma and Morinho have not shown any interest in the player, and I don't even think Ramos will prefer a move to Roma by the way. But for his caliber of player,I think PSG is his possible destination that will even suit his style of play.

Every team in Europe has the Champions league as there main aim.
We just have to wait and see as it unfolds, good signing there for thr France side,i hope they concede less goals the season with double signature of teo good backline players.
Just wanting to be there is not the same as actually doing something to get there. Just to give an example look at how many transfers Bayern and PSG made, and look at how many Liverpool or Barcelona made. You think Barcelona and Liverpool do not want to win champions league? Of course they would want to, any team in the world that has a chance to get in will want to win it but we have to be realistic and some of them are eliminated very easily, there are like 10-20 teams that has even a slight chance, rest do not even make any sense and will be eliminated either before group stage or during the group stage.

From the other ones that we assume will go beyond the group stage, PSG is the only one that is making this huge splash amount of transfers, they are actually spending a ton of money and they are aiming for that title more than anyone else with how they are getting everyone they can.

If Manchester is willing to do that why would they pay 150 million pounds for Kane instead of 75 million EUR for Haaland? Kane is very strong, no doubt about that but Haaland is five or six years younger and at least equally strong. I think 150 million pounds for Kane is a bit too high, don't you guys agree? Given what the price levels have turned into in recent years, I would see him more in the 120 - 130 million range at maximum.

Haaland's 75 mil clause is not yet active, it will be from next season. He can potentially sign a new contract in the meantime with a higher clause so that 75 mil for him isn't yet an option.

Kane is more proven than Haaland, he's been dominating for years. I'd go for Haaland if I had to choose too, but I understand that Kane is really interesting to top clubs as well. Especially to English clubs who have English player quotas to fill.

I also think Kane will be sold for a little bit over 100 mil - not nearly close to 150. But I do think he will be sold this summer.

Kane has been dominating for years, yes, but Haaland is one of those guys (at least in my opinion) where there is no doubt that he won't deliver for a season if he stays healthy. He is one of those strikers where you know it is going to work out. It was quite early the case Messi and Ronaldo as well. After they had their first top season, nobody really doubted they will play another weak season in their lives. I am curious about Mbappé's next step.

And who knows, maybe we'll get to see Messi and Ronaldo in the same team next season! Wink

New Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants to meet Harry Kane, 27, to discuss the England captain's future with Spurs before the wantaway striker goes on holiday after Euro 2020.
Obviously, Tottenham will not let their most important player out of the club so easily.
If it was up to Spurs, they will have Harry play for them till the day he hangs his boots, but I believe Kane wants to leave White Hart Lane for a very obvious reason, such as his desire to lift a major trophy and I think Spurs have to understand that, the thing now is that whichever team is planning on taking Kane away must be ready to spend big, he is world class, and Spurs will definitely ask for too much, we'll see if teams back out as a result of that.

Transfer rumours:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United are considering offering 28-year-old midfielder Paul Pogba as part of a deal to sign his France team-mate Varane. Is that the final confirmation that Pogba is really leaving Manchester?
Arsenal are keeping tabs on former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and have asked to be kept in the loop regarding the 35-year-old Spain centre-back's talks with Paris St-Germain.
I think there is very little chance that Ramos will really go to Arsenal. What do you think?
Ramos rejected a £10m offer from Manchester United after talks with the Red Devils and now looks set to join PSG on a two-year deal. How much PSG is willing to offer him for a salary?  Grin

Although Ramos is not young, but Ramos' fitness is remarkable. He will be able to support his team very well for at least the next 2 years. He is more skilled and experienced than any young player. It would be good for PSG to include Ramos in the squad. They will become stronger.
According to report, Sergio Ramos has agreed to join PSG on a two-year contract in the coming days. Expectation it ends up being valid. Hopefully the UCL will come to Paris next season. He's an absolute leader, let's see if he can bring them their dreamed UEFA Champions League glory they seek for long.

PSG made a very good move by getting Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid. Moreover, PSG got Ramos for free because his contract with Real Madrid
had expired. We all know how good Ramos is as a leader at Real Madrid, and PSG expect Ramos to do the same at PSG. PSG also managed to bring in
3 other great players, namely Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi and Donnarumma. This proves that PSG are very serious about getting the Champions
League trophy, if we look at the current PSG squad, it is very possible for PSG to win the Champions League trophy next year.

if we look at the current PSG squad, it is very possible for PSG to win the Champions League trophy next year.
Two seasons back they were finalists, lost to Bayern, last season they were eliminated by City in the semis, so next season, they'll definitely go for it again, we all know it's their ultimate goal to win the UCL, and with the signings they are making, their chances could prolly be a little bit higher, but mind you that most of the players they are eyeing aren't really performing in their peak at the moment, but then they have the experience, Ramos for example, thus I'd not really be surprised if they help them go very far in the CL next season, but that's not to say they are going to win it.

Although the 2020/2021 season surprisingly failed to win the Ligue 1 trophy, PSG's main goal is still the Champions League trophy next season.
We all know how PSG's ambition is to become the best team in Europe, by successfully winning the Champions League trophy has not been
achieved in recent seasons. By bringing in many star players, it does not guarantee PSG can get the Champions League trophy, but it will make
their chances even greater. Although there are a few internal problems going on at PSG right now, which Kylian Mbappe rejected the offer of
a contract extension offered by PSG. But I believe PSG can solve this problem quickly, before the new season starts.

According to reports in the Catalan media, Miralem Pjanic and Samuel Umtiti will not wear the Barca's jersey next season.
Umtiti has had little or no playing time after his recent injury problems and loss of form, as for Pjanic, since moving from Juve to Barca, he has actually been a shadow of the player we knew him to be, the thing is which club will be interested in the duo, it would be interesting if English clubs make a move for them.

Ramos definitely had a tough time last season but he is a very experienced one with leadership qualities and one who would fill a role that Thiago Silva used to have once. I am also not sure about how he will perform but should go well in Ligue 1. As for Donnarumma, I think he is a great goalkeeper, he is also having a good time with Italy in Euros and he also had a good time in Serie A as well. That's a different matter that things went pretty bad later on with AC Milan with injuries and all. AC Milan didn't had a proper defense and in PSG he will have a good defense line to protect the nets. As for Hakimi, thats a pacy addition to the midfield. So IMO, I feel like they have really thought it well and its a good boost to squad.
Seeing what happens if it is true that PSG have agreed to everything, it is clear that their squad is very strong, maybe the French league will definitely win after many players were bought to defend the team and win prestigious trophies.
Ramos, Hakimi, Donarumma and I also heard that Messi is rumored to be going to PSG what happens next, maybe it will be the most powerful club in Europe lol.
What PSG do is want to continue to maintain stability as an undefeated club if all the players they hope for are there.
To be in the champions league this will definitely be a different story again.

They will definitely become champions of France. But in the Champions League, I don't think these players can help much. Ramos is no longer as strong as before. Donarumma does not play stably. The only boost is Hakimi.

since today (july 1st) some top players/stars are contractless and could change to another club without paying a transfer fee... L. Messi, G. Donnarumma, S. Ramos, J. Boateng to name but a few Shocked

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=388464
Honestly this team all by itself could have some good results in many top leagues. I am not saying they would be champions because 2 of the highest paid ones are also the oldest ones, but they do look like they are still a good team with it. Put this starting eleven and remove all the fatigue and injury and booking (because we only have 11 players) and put them in every game to say La Liga for example, I guarantee you they will end up in top 5 without a doubt, and that is with just free transfer players, not to talk about any additions they could make.

It is insane that some of these players are still not renewed contract or at least bought out by some other team already, they should be already contracted. Whole messi thing doesn't even make sense, give him 100 million a year if he wants to, it is not about money, it is about loyalty and respect for what he has done.
