Why a lower salary?
How much Pogba takes in ManU? 15 year?
In Italy, with the new tax law, Juventus will pay only 15+25% = 20m /year.
It is not big if you think at Higuain and Khedira (with the old law) they cost 15m/year and 13m/year...

The salary is a smaller problem here.

you may be right, but I think the reality is different if it is not a burden to them, why did they ask from players to give up parts of earnings to help the club to pass through more easily Covid19 period.
For example, Ronaldo's salary is a very serious expense for Juve. Also as far as I remember, they had to hire a third (sponsor) party to pay for Cristiano.
it is well known that PL clubs much richer than the others and these cannot match them in the amount of payments.

I think it's high time Paul Pogba left Manchester united he needs to go to a team where he will be much appreciated, united doesn't know his value and contributions to the team that's why they do criticize him often...
Manchester United obviously 'knew' his value when they bought him for a world record fee as of the time he signed for them IIRC, but he has not contributed to the team as much as the fans would have expected and that is why they criticize him; as you mentioned with Lukaku, Pogba could leave to another team and start playing brilliantly again, but he's currently not doing that at Old Trafford and I would not question the criticisms he's receiving.

Of course, they gave him maybe too many chances, but he decided to be relaxed and play without any passion. He is completely unprofessional but because of that, no one disputes that he is a great talent and has top quality. If he leaves MU, Pogba will be biggest loser in this transaction.

Chelsea's next target: Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen).

Chilwell (Leicester) and Havertz would be great signings, but Chelsea really need a centre back, and Upamecano (Leipzig) is on the market. Papa Roman, do your thing  Grin

The German Sky Sports News just posted some more information on the upcoming transfer of Leroy Sané to FC Bayern München. It looks like Manchester City and FC Bayern München are still negotiating the transfer fee.

A new round of negotiations between Bayern and Manchester City for Leroy Sané took place last week. City made it clear that Sané would only be sold for an adequate fee. The English club demands €70m while Bayern are offering €40m [@SkySportNewsHD]

I have said it before, City won't sell sane for the price Bayern Munich are offering, if Bayern buys Leroy at that price, city will be the team losing, letting go of one of the best wingers in Europe for a price as low as €40m is not 'good business' for City. Bayern thinks the price is good also cause of his ACL injury that kept him out for over a year, but imo it's not a reason to buy Leroy at that price. Sane is young and has recovered fully and I don't think there will be any recurrence (of the same injury).

^  Doesn't Zidane at Real want Pogba too?
Not anymore https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/05/07/5eb4815a46163f3e1b8b45ec.html

TL;DR:  Zizou wanted him, but he's too expensive for RM + top priority for Real in the next transfer window is to sell players.

^  Doesn't Zidane at Real want Pogba too?  I think it's a more likely destination for him tbh.  He'll be in a great club earning good money.

I know that you are a big Juventus & Pogba fan, but you must be more realistic. even if @indykaila is a reliable source. Do you really think Pogba will accept a lower salary out of love for Juve? I don't think so. he had already left ManUTD once just because of more money, then he leaves Juve because of a higher salary, what are the chances that he will go for less money this time?
btw. If United buy van de Beek, with Pogba they will have a much more respectable team than Juventus.

^^ Yeah its unreliable source. We have yet to see a good source talking about such bid. van Beek will be a great addition, at least UTD will have someone committed in central midfield. He is young and is a good potential. But yeah there is interest from Man Utd. in this central midfielder. Pogba is not committed like he was earlier so its likely that he will leave Utd. But Juventus again? seems doubtful.

EDIT:

I don't think Man Utd will ever be that club for him.

Yeah not the current Man Utd. atleast. Maybe Madrid? at some point they were interested right?

Maybe Pogba managed to grow something between his ears and realized that it isn't all about the money while you are still developing as a player. He is entering his best years and he should focus on playing in a club that suits him personally and I don't think Man Utd will ever be that club for him.

But considering that it is Pogba, he will want more money this time as well.

If this will happen, we can assume Paul Pogba already sold, lets see if the news will be confirmed during the day.

I do not know much about Gelson to chelsea deal. But Manchester united offer for VDB is very much on deck, with Van der sar coming out openly to say both madrid and MUFC are interested in the player.

It is ofcourse in a bid to raise the fee, but i feel Van de Beek will join Manchester united in a reported  40m fee

We all know Demiral was a great defender when he played and he was doing so well that he actually took some time off from de ligt as well and between them they played bunch of games in turns. However with Demiral getting injured he kinda got lost in there, everybody remembers how good he used to be but he is very young and got a serious season ending injury, plus he plays very carelessly to defend as well as he can, which means he is a great defender with big heart and ambition but he could get injured with one wrong move if he plays so carelessly and being injury prone is not really that cool neither.

If Juventus decides to send Demiral and pay a bit more money on top (or give costa as well) I feel like it worths it 100% of the time, they still have good defense and they will get a player they wanted so much and need so much as well, totally worths it for both teams if you ask me.

Juventus is now doing a move on another defender, a very interesting defender https://www.transfermarkt.it/marash-kumbulla/profil/spieler/371371.
...
They don't need one more strong defender especially now with the COVID crisis
I also don't understand why they would need another defender. Maybe there is a plan to offload someone

Exactly the only reason could be to sell Demiral and Costa both wanted by Manchester 1 month ago.
In addiction to this, we have the rumor abound Van De Beek to Man U.

The last move of the puzzle is Pogba to Juve.

As Juventus side, we have this info.
Man U is interested in D Costa and Demiral. (40+40 value ish)
D Costa would be a good addition to man United's wings. I love his energy and dribbles. Right now, United Have no good natural winger. This would be a great move IMO

Adding one more thing on Van De Beek.
The source about the Manchester United interest is very reliable it seems the same who announced DeLigt to Juventus while 99% of the world was saying he will go to Barcelona.

Lautaro Martinez seems to have communicated his intention to leave Inter to the team.

where does Mario Balotelli go this time...?

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/balotelli-to-leave-brescia--lawyers-preparing-contract-termination/view/news/362205

this will be his ninth club change in his career. he has never played more than 2 years in a club... Shocked
and he's not even 30 years old... Undecided

The guy is an idiot, totally void of any common sense & will to work hard. He could have been one of the best in the world if he had the right mentality & work ethic but he has demons that he can’t expel. I imagine he’ll move to another average team, no big club will take the risk.
Totally...  He had the potential to be one of the biggest Italian stars under Roberto Mancini at City and he blew it.  No discipline.
And you could def see Mancini's frustration at the time too.  He knew he had something with Balotelli.

you are right. But look, actually he is a very good player. Only downside is Mario Balotelli could not stay in any club for long and he has some disciplinary problems too. I think if he able to stay at a club permanently and can change himself a little bit, then he has a lot of potential energy to come to the top list of the world.

https://metro.co.uk/2020/06/07/manchester-united-begin-talks-ajax-sign-donny-van-de-beek-12815985/

Does this mean Pogba is leaving at the end of the season? I highly doubt Man Utd would sign Van de Beek as a sub, he'll go straight into the starting XI so that means someone in the current midfield (Bruno, Pogba, Fred) is leaving.

Maybe.

This is a strange move because Juventus at the moment have

Bonucci
Chiellini
De Ligt
Demiral
Rugani

Romero on loan

They don't need one more strong defender especially now with the COVID crisis

Yes if Man U will go on him, Pogba is already been sold to someone.
