Liverpool really have had a very good collaboration with Klopp for a long time. Maybe they are not very good this season but every big team undergo this kind of periods sometimes. And I think it is definitely not related to Klopp. I wonder what Gerrard will do if this replacement happens. Lampard couldn't do much good at Chelsea. Will we see a similar thing with Gerrard too? Or will he manage the team nicely?
In my opinion, Liverpool since being handled by Klopp has improved tremendously and has become one of the best teams in Europa. But this
season Liverpool have been playing poorly, not because of Klopp's lackluster strategy. Because many Liverpool players are injured, especially
in the defender. And Liverpool don't have a substitute player of the same quality. So there's no way Liverpool will fire Klopp. Moreover, his
replacement is Gerrard who has no experience training big teams. Maybe will end up like Lampard when he coached Chelsea. Sometimes
a good player, not necessarily a good coach. If Klopp stops being a Liverpool coach not because of being fired, but it is possible that Klopp will
accept an offer as Germany coach to replace Joachim Loew.
As for Steven Gerrard, I wouldn’t really agree with you.
He has been the coach of Rangers, a Scottish great and one of the world's biggest clubs, for 2 years and he lifted them from the bottom and brought them practically to the title of champion after many years.
They are also very successful in European competitions.
He did great things in Scotland and showed that he has the charisma and knowledge to lead the world's biggest clubs, including Liverpool.
He and Lampard cannot be compared because Steven has already proven himself in successfully leading and coaching his team.
After Rangers I think Liverpool is the next logical step for him and that he is Klopp’s natural successor.
