where does Mario Balotelli go this time...?

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/balotelli-to-leave-brescia--lawyers-preparing-contract-termination/view/news/362205

this will be his ninth club change in his career. he has never played more than 2 years in a club... Shocked
and he's not even 30 years old... Undecided

The guy is an idiot, totally void of any common sense & will to work hard. He could have been one of the best in the world if he had the right mentality & work ethic but he has demons that he can’t expel. I imagine he’ll move to another average team, no big club will take the risk.

Totally...  He had the potential to be one of the biggest Italian stars under Roberto Mancini at City and he blew it.  No discipline.

And you could def see Mancini's frustration at the time too.  He knew he had something with Balotelli.

There are also some more news on the possible transfer of Ajax Amsterdam's right-back Sergiño Dest to FC Bayern München. It looks like a transfer is getting closer and closer, since the player prefers a transfer to FC Bayern over FC Barcelona. What do you guys think? Will we see Dest moving to Bayern in the summer?

Bayern are in talks with Ajax right-back Sergiño Dest on a daily basis. Bayern players are also luring the player to Munich. According to Dest's entourage, he prefers a move to Bayern over Barcelona who are also interested [@FT_Redaktion]

He reminds me of Zlatan Ibrahimović or Nicolas Anelka
Thought it sad that we didn't get to see the best of him after moving away from Manchester City.

I'll always wonder about guys like this. Anelka also played for Liverpool for a season, I was really hopeful we could turn a bad boy into someone strong and useful, especially after what we'd done with Suarez just before that. Too bad it never turned out well.

Why would Real Madrid need him right now, yet they aren't done yet with Zidane?
Even if he got there, The Real Madrid boss and the fans are one of the hardest people to impress in the footballing world. With all that immense pressure. There are high chances that Poch would crumble.

I don't know about Poch crumbling, he's made of stronger stuff than that and he has had that torrid time at Spurs already (that Champs League final really broke him, but good guy he's stronger now). But yeah, doesn't make sense for him to go there. Not for him, certainly not for Real!

Emerson Palmieri according to Tuttosport is close to Juventus.
Sarri wants him back from Chelsea.

For Juventus financial management it will be a done thing only if they can sell Alex Sandro.
Selling Alex means doing capital gains from the sale for the Financial Fair Play equal the the value they will sell.

I think that Chelsea should not leave Emerson go to Juventus.
He is a great player and adds a lot of value to Chelsea game. Sarri might want him to Juventus but doesn't he really know how long he is going to stay at Turin?

I totally agree that Werner wasn't really needed for liverpool. However I have always said that Liverpool will eventually need some changes, look at champions league this season for example, the team is getting figured out, even barcelona who won like 100 cups a year eventually became bad, liverpool is not like barcelona, at least barcelona has money and youth organization that could keep them at high level, liverpool do not have it that well. At the end of the day, having couple different very good young stars would make sure that Liverpool keeps on being good, if they continue without changing nothing at all they are going to eventually be figured and going to start becoming the liverpool we always remember from the past 20-30 years.

Of course they do. And no, we didn't really get figured out. Atletico does that with all teams superior to them, and it can work, but it doesn't always work (see their history coming up against Real Madrid). Liverpool does get caught out eventually, it's just a case of what consistently works and what doesn't. Were it not for a bit of bad luck, and Jan Oblak on his super A game, we'd have won and should have won. Anyway, you're right we don't have yet an incredible youth system, so that's what we should work on.

Bringing Werner in could still work, for the time being, but overbidding Chelski might not be a good idea, and it certainly isn't how Liverpool do business. We'll bring others in, and do what we know works. Patience!

Not arsed about Werner, he looks like a really good player but I don’t want anybody who isn’t solely focused on playing for us. Van Dijk turned City down, Alisson turned down Chelsea. If we are not the first & only choice then I’m not interested.

Klopp won’t let us down, he’ll sign some stars this summer, I’m confident on that.

This is the other point I really agree with. Werner looked like the sort of guy courting everyone else at the same time and that probably also threw Klopp off. I still don't know the whole truth but yeah, we want players who absolutely only want to play for the club, and not just the club who wants him most. Because we don't and never will put any player above the club.

We'll sign some more stars, for sure. Or we'll make stars out of the guys we already have. I'm still keen on Taki for example. Could be a monster yet. Wilson when he returns from all his loan spells. We're okay.

Any news on where Pochettino might manage next, I don’t see him being out of a job for too long sureoy. He’s a good manager imo, he could manage a big club.
He has been linked to a number of clubs over the past few months, and I don't think he would have been out of a job till now if all leagues didn't enter a forced break.
United, Madrid, Newcastle and City are among the names that have been rumoured as the possible next destination for the Argentine.

I can also see him managing a big club like Madrid or Bayern Munich and succeeding there. There likely be more transfer speculations when most too leagues resume over the next weeks

Transfer Market LIVE from Marca.
Lautaro Martinez has already told the coach that he wants to sign only for Barcelona.
Is Antoine Griezmann really thinking of continuing his career in America, in MLS?
After some rumors, Matthijs de Ligt confirmed that he is staying and that he is happy at Juventus.
It seems that Gareth Bale does not want to return to England after all.

I understand that Werner is a good player and everyone thought that Liverpool who has won the champions league and about to win the premier league and be on champions league next year with a good squad should have gotten him. However, what you are forgetting that this team already played very well on the league, they could break the 100 point record as well so they are one of the best teams ever. Do they really need another player to make it even better?

Would getting Werner really make their team better? Are we 100% sure about it? I think they are already very good, they do not need Werner at all, it has to be someone superstar to make any changes for a team like Liverpool. This is not mbappe or neymar or anyone like that we are talking about, its Werner and he is good but he is not a worldstar player.

If the Werner thing is true, then I won't be upset. It's been in the news at least a week now.

I've said it at least twice before on this forum that while I think it's great he's interested and he said all those things -- plus he's a decent player -- I actually still think we got a really good front 3 already and we just need a couple more loanees to develop (thinking of Wilson for example) to take the place. Juggy I fully agree with Liverpool's side if it's true it was the cost that was too much. VVD and Alisson were different prepositions. We absolutely needed them to plug our holes, and they were worth that much at the time of Coutinho's 140M price tag.

Today? $50M is way too much for someone who's not going to be central to our team.

So I'm actually happy if it's true.

@toke yeah sorry man haha.

juve, inter, fiorentina, napoli or fc barcelona - which club is the next in his (Sandro Tonali) young career?

Basing it on the calcio news I have seen Tonali from Brescia's president said that he already declined a move happening from Barcelona as he already knows that he will be covered in depth of the squad. He will likely stay in Serie A where you already mentioned the likely clubs he will go. As for the Brescia club I know that Serie A clubs won't be able to match the offer of Barcelona but the thing is if the player denies the contract the transfer won't even push through so Tonali here is the one who really has the choice of where he would go next.

Manchester City is ranked second in the 2019/20 English Premier League standings, but that does not necessarily make Pep Guardiola feel satisfied, the latest news says that he has called Ismael Bennacer who is now defending Milan to join Etihad.

Unfortunately, hopes to get the player's signature will likely be difficult to realize, according to Football Italia reports, the Rossoneri reportedly had no intention of releasing the player and would reject all incoming offers.

They're about to sign one of the best left backs in the PL. Madness...

Wow...  I never thought any transfer above 30m GBP would happen this year.
Remeber the transfer ban? Well, since they've been saving for so long now they're free to spend as much as they can (:

@examplens  that's amazing, slippy G just can't catch a break lol
