Man Utd are doing well without Pogba, it isn’t essential that they keep him. It finally looks like Ole knows what he is doing. Pogba is not paramount to their future success. They can continue to develop without him.

It is not wrong actually. Despite Pogba's absence they still succeeded in defeating City 2-0 away which was great for them. Pogba has played in 28 matches in total - 4 goals and 3 assists. But I believe he is still one of the valuable players for this team. Unless they find a better alternative, I'd like to see him continuing at Manchester Utd. But we should also keep that in mind that he has only one year left on his contract. They should make their final decision about Pogba this summer and act according to it.

Keeping Pogba is indeed a pretty good choice for Man United, but if the player concerned has stated that he does not feel happy and there is no desire to renew the contract, then a sensible option would be to sell the player while he was still under the contract.

Even though Pogba's contract with Man United still has more than 1-year remaining but if there is still no agreement between Pogba and Man United until the contract expires, then Man United has the potential to lose a lot of money because Pogba can go anywhere on a free transfer.

More Transfer rumours:

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke is not expecting any big offers in the summer for Haaland or 20-year-old England winger Jadon Sancho. Does anyone believe him?  Grin

There is no way that even one team won't make an offer for him. He is just daydreaming.  Grin  There will be many offers from big clubs especially for Haaland. And for Sancho, I think it is very likely that we can see him at Manchester Utd next season as they have been very interested in him.

It’s probably just a show for the local public and cheap ''PR''  Grin
Haaland has definitely become the biggest story this year and a lot of clubs want to bring him into their ranks.
He has already outgrown his current club and is ready for new challenges.

new rumors about west ham's Declan Rice...

Quote
West Ham boss David Moyes insists he would not sell Declan Rice even for £100 million (the equivalent of about €117 million). Hammers co-owner David Sullivan is understood to value his prized asset at somewhere around an eye-watering nine-figure sum. Chelsea and Manchester United are regularly linked with Rice but even those powerhouse clubs face being priced out of the running.

Manchester United are in the dark over 27-year-old France midfielder Paul Pogba's future, with no current dialogue between the club and his agent Mino Raiola. Pogba's deal is due to expire at the end of next season. Is this turning into another football soap opera?

Pogba hasn't been playing for a month and maybe he thought about this in this period but didn't make any statement about it. Some people believe him that he will stay, some people think that he will go to Real Madrid or Juventus. Considering Manchester Utd are having an awesome season in the Premier League, I think he may stay. Besides, Manchester Utd seem that they will strengthen the squad more next season. So, who knows maybe they could even become the champions next season.  Grin

With how bad Liverpool's performances have been this season, they could really do with an important signing such as Mbappe, I believe Klopp is going to make a couple of big signings at the end of this season to ensure his team bounces back to challenge for titles next season.

Without CL football (which we almost surely lost after today's game vs Fulham) we will be in no position to buy players with such quality. I assume due to financial implications (losing CL revenue) we will be even forced to sell - I expect at least one of our star players to leave.

Mbappe, Haaland and such players were something I wanted us to pursue only a few months ago, after today I'll jump from joy if we keep what we have going into 2021/22 season. Whatever the media will write - Liverpool is out of the transfer market for players of such calibre.

IIRC few weeks backs, rumors had it that Pogba could extend this contract at Old Trafford, I don't know what United's plan is for Pogba or if the French international really has any interest to remain at the club, but for the sake of United's fans and people who like Pogba, the club and his agent really needs to reach a decision, Pogba still has a lot in him, he can't afford to have his future hanging in the balance, settling it once and for all will be the best for all the parties involved.
Liverpool will challenge Real Madrid for the signing of PSG's French forward Kylian Mbappe, if Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, leaves the Premier League club.

Paris St-Germain are tracking David de Gea's situation at Manchester United and may make a summer move for the Spain goalkeeper. Is a big goalkeeping transfer on the horizon? David de Gea is in a big crisis and the question is how much he can help PSG.
Liverpool will challenge Real Madrid for the signing of PSG's French forward Kylian Mbappe, if Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, leaves the Premier League club. Mbappe for Salah, a good plan but the question is what Real will say about the idea? Salah wants to go to Real or Barcelona and Real have no reason to help Liverpool raise money for Mbappe.

Chelsea are growing increasingly confident of winning the race to sign Europe's most in-demand striker, Norway's 20-year-old Erling Braut Haaland, from Borussia Dortmund this summer. Is it possible that Chelsea will beat all the other greats in this race for Europe's most wanted footballer?

Haaland IMHO will go where the team can pay the highest fee possible to Raiola.
Raiola probably wants to wait until 2022 and use the clause for the sale of Haaland with the bid out of 75m€.

If he will sell him for only 75m he can easily double his fee.

Real Madrid believe Manchester City will be their main obstacle in the pursuit of £100m-rated Haaland but are optimistic they can tempt him to the Bernabeu.
That could very well be true, Manchester City I believe have every right to be interested in Haaland, it looks like Sergio Aguero could be leaving at the end of the season, thus City will be Keen to replace him with a young and exceptional talent in Haaland that can serve the club for ten years and even more. Real, City and PSG are the teams I'm pretty sure wouldn't mind spending so much to sign Haaland, there are a few other teams that can afford it, but I don't know how willing they'll be to spend that amount on a single player.
Leeds have joined Tottenham and AC Milan in the race to sign Real Madrid's Spain winger Lucas Vazquez, 29, on a free transfer. Leeda is on track to become a competitive and serious club again, after a long time.
I think the deal with be a good one for Spurs if they can beat the other teams to Vazquez's signature, he has won quite a lot of titles for Real Madrid and that's the sort of players Tottenham need now to challenge for titles.

I think it is very true. Bayern also seem as one of the big threats but I don't think he will go there as Lewandowski is the main CF (and he is playing great) so it wouldn't be a very sensible move. Real Madrid are having so much problem on scoring in the absence of Benzema and they really need another talented striker. But City also want to sign him so much too. They could really become even a more insane team on scoring with him. Messi is also linked with City so I wonder whether they will be able to afford them both (even though there will be no transfer fee for Messi).

I just realized Haaland was born in Leeds. That makes him homegrown for any English club and players that are homegrown reach a much higher price due to quotas of these players that english clubs have.

After realizing that I'm positive that all of english's top 4 will be in the race to get him next season. I'd love to see him at Liverpool but for that to happen, we really need to get into the CL spots.

Chelsea's job will be too hard as they will have very powerful competitors when it comes to signing Haaland. I think that the winner of the Champions League can be more ahead of the other teams for this transfer. If Chelsea manage to do it which seems not very possible I think, they could have an extra advantage.

Pep Guardiola will continue to be an admirer of Jack Grealish because there is no chance for Jack to enter the city seeing that aston villa still wants to keep him.  If there is an opportunity then Man City will compete with Man United who have planned to buy Jack.  However, it will be very hard for Pep because of the fact that Jack deserves to be admired by many clubs for his abilities as a defender.  My guess is that Aston won't be that easy to let go of their best midfielder for a rival club.
You are forgetting how much money City has, and how much they will make as well, of course this covid season prevented them making more because of fans not being in the stadiums, but they are still going to be the champions of the league that sells to nearly 100 nations, hence I think it is going to be obvious that they are going to be even richer than today.

So, if they want to get Jack, they can get Jack, obviously they wouldn't want to overpay him, who would want that, but they can offer Villa 200 million pounds if they want to, not like they would because he doesn't worth that much, but they "can" that's the secret word here. It means Villa and City needs to reach to a deal where Villa would finally give in and sell, and City wouldn't be screwed which I think may happen, it all depends on Jack pressuring the team to move if he wants to, one sentence would be enough "either sell me or I will not play anymore" and he will be gone.

Thats true, City has a lot of money and could make a high bid for Jeck. However, Aston also won't be that easy to let Jack go to another club. And the interests of both will not give Pep the new player he has admired for a long time. How long will it take Pep to get him? No one knows when that happened. And City won't be that easy to get Jeck even though they have a lot of money.

Other clubs are not giving up in this race either and also have their arguments.
Real Madrid believe Manchester City will be their main obstacle in the pursuit of £100m-rated Haaland but are optimistic they can tempt him to the Bernabeu.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer says the Bundesliga giants will have the financial muscle to compete for the signature of Haaland despite reports declaring they have no interest in the striker.
English goalkeeper Dean Henderson, 23, expects to be Manchester United number one next season - with David de Gea facing an uncertain future at the club. What happened to David de Gea, once Europe's best goalkeeper and a great talent?

Napoli have reduced their asking price for Kalidou Koulibaly to around 45m euros (£38.7m), with Bayern Munich believed to be ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race for the 29-year-old Senegal defender. Bayern has been doing a very good job lately and bringing very good and talented players to the club.

...

Bayern seem to me as the biggest club in Europe now. So they have a big advantage when it comes to signing talented and world-star players. As for Koulibaly, I actually would like him to be signed by Liverpool as they are having big problems on their defense especially in the absence of van Dijk. He could make a really nice duo with van Dijk (when he is back from his injury) on the centre-back position.

Donnarumma still not reach an agreement for contract ext with Milan. Chelsea linked with him. Several clubs maybe will try to sign him if till the due date Milan never get the deal. If Gigi left from Milan, this would be disaster for Milan next season.

~snip~
It could be a good GK transfer for Chelsea. Kepa is very prone to make big mistakes and Mendy is the main GK now. So if they sign Donnarumma, he will be the main GK and Mendy will be in the subs.

That's right from the list of names that Tuchel wants next season, one of which is Gianluigi Donnarumma. Actually, it is very strange to see that
Chelsea currently still have Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga, still wanting to bring Donnarumma. Even though both of them are very worthy of
being the main goalkeeper for Chelsea.  This means that in other words Tuchel is not satisfied with the two goalkeepers who have Chelsea. But if
Chelsea manages to sign Donnarumma, either one of Chelsea's two goalkeepers will have to leave next season. Most likely Kepa Arrizabalaga will have
to leave, considering that nowadays he rarely gets the opportunity to play.
