To be honest, this thread is getting a bit boring (to me) with all that drama around over-payed players like Neymar, what anyway will end rather sooner than later (latest in a week, when the windows close in Spain, Germany, France, Italy etc.)

Thus: Who here is interested in sharing odds / bets?

Absolutely agree with your post, don't want to read another headline regarding Neymar & Pogba until they finally go somewhere or end up in 2nd team.

Regarding odds/bets, I would say most of us but we have other topics where there is more talk about that stuff. For instance all the topics regarding particular League.
Anyway, just watching Norwich-Chelsea after betting on over 2.5 goals and both to score. There is nothing better than winning the bet in first half hour of the game Smiley I have the same bet on Liverpool - Arsenal match and hopefully it will pass as easy as this one.

Pjanic is one of the best free-kick takers in the world (behind Messi probably), Dybala has been one of the best players in Juventus over the last couple of seasons and he's only 25yo, and Matuidi is by far one of the best box-to-box in Europe...These 3 great players just to get Neymar? Hmm, i don't know, doesn't sound like a fair deal for Juventus.

Yes I watched all Juventus matches for the past 5 years and I can tell you 3 things Cheesy

Pjanic, you right is one of the best free kickers on the world, but we have other good strikers, like CR7 and Dybala for example.
Pjanic is a common mistake, he plays good 2 matches and bad other 2.
He good only to pass the ball 5 meters away, do you know-how may assist he did last year over 20 meters? 1.

He is very slow with verticalization, and he does like 1 good long pass every 3 matches if lucky.

(This is why I want Pogba I remember him back when he was with us, a lot a long shot on the foot of the player, Pjanic is not capable of then and we need to use Bonucci do some verticalizations)

I prefer Pogba and Isco over Pjanic AINEC.

Dybala was good, GOD 3 years ago, after that he lost his way with Allegri, was great amazing when he was 22 yo, now is nothing special. We must see with the new coach.

Matuidi is too slow for Sarriball, the new way of play is a tiki-taka with high pressure, his control of the ball and 1st touch is awful for that.

He is a very strong "passive" player, he probably can't play on "Guardiola" way.

I think a lot of Juventus supporters think this.

Barcelona has no money for the operation Neymar.

My dream? Exchange Pjanic + Dybala + Matuidi + 20/30 Cash for Neymar

I dont also see neymar in Juventus, he wants to go back to spain but a lot is demanded in the trade that everyone is looking at having a better part of it. Dembele is now considered a possible part of the trade, he is more of a liability to any team because of his character and team playing ability. Juventus had spent enough for this transfer period IMO

Napoli officially get Hirving Lozano. The Mexican player was imported from PSV Eindhoven and became the fourth recruit this summer.

Il Partenopei announced the transfer through the club's official Twitter account on Friday (8/23/2019). Not mentioned in detail the transfer value and 24-year player contract.
But according to Italian Football, Napoli reportedly had to spend 40 million euros (Rp. 628 billion) to bring Lozano to San Paolo.

lol glad you like it  Cheesy

• Man Utd and Inter still can't reach an agreement for Alexis Sanchez. The Red Devils do not want to pay more than 50% of his wages during the loan. (source)
The fall of Alexis Sanchez is a perfect example of how Greed and Ego can bring you down. With the amount of salary he's earning at United with almost no input from him at all i bet no club wants to have him right now and think of paying that kind of salary to him again.
Should have remained at Arsenal back then.
I've been following Alexis Sanchez since his Udinese days, and honestly, I don't see him as a greedy and egocentric kind of person, don't know him personally but he strikes me as a humble/down to earth footballer. He went to United because he was looking for a new challenge (I think he said something like "i want to be in a team that fights for titles" or something along those lines), not because of greed or a bigger paychek, IMO...And honestly, who would say no to one of the biggest (if not the biggest) football clubs in the world? I don't know how you made that connection (greed and ego with Alexis  Sad )

• Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich) close to signing with Lille.

Some rays of hope for Sanchez to resurrect his dying(If not dead) career. He was a very promising talent and well sought after during his days at Benfica, before he joined Bayern, I hope he does find his feet again.
Typical overhyped/overrated young talent that ultimately doesn't have what it takes to make it into the big leagues. He joins a list of portuguese players that were thought to conquer the football world but ended up being just average: Bruma, Andre Gomes, Andre Silva, Pereira, Gelson Martins, etc.

I thought they made the last offer a few days ago? lol  Roll Eyes Barca looks really desperate to sign Ney, I wonder if they're scared of what Messi could do if the board doesn't sign his friend.

The deal is totally out of the Barcelona's board capacity, If Messi want he's so called friend around him, He should have convinced him not to leave (In such an absurd manner) or Pay for the transfer now that his friend is tryna jump ship again.

In the same time (and probably thats the reason for Bayern to release Sanchez from his career-stopper in southern Germany) Bayern is likely going to activate the buy-out-clause of €40 million for Roca from Espanyol after they have seen their initial offer (€18 million + bonus) rejected some weeks ago.

Well nothing new for now on this "big day"

What is the better offer for you?

These days I start to dislike how football looks today more and more. Everyday it feels a bit more like we´re on an animal-market.

Should have remained at Arsenal back then.
Or should have moved to city,  I'm still surprised how Alexis chose united over city at that particular time, we were playing good football and were favorites to win the league at that particular time which we eventually did.

Alexis would keep kicking himself for not capitalizing on that opportunity to play for us, win the amount of trophies we have since then and be coached by the best(pep).
I think Sanchez' career is over, he can never attain the height he envisaged and it's due to his greed.

Yeah he would have a few titles more but he would have played even less in City then he does in United. City definitely had too many options on wings at that time. Even now when Sane is injured, Mahrez is almost constantly on the bench.

Rumor can be big today.

They are saying in 2 hours Barca will present the last offer for Neymar.

In 2 Hours also from now, the Vice President of Juventus will do a Press conference.

Today the saga Neymar-Barca-Dybala-PSG-Icardi-Inter can ends.

Barca already bought Griezmann for big money, I’d be surprised if they get Neymar because it’ll be a huge cost. It’d he a real statement of intent if they can though.
PSG may end up agreeing to the initial one year loan deal and later make Barcelona pay the amount that they paid for me Neymar in 2017 when the loan is eventually over, according to some sources they rejected the previous deal because they weren't sure Barcelona were going to pay the total amount in full when the loan was ever.

• Hirving Lozano (PSV) to Napoli done deal. source

A very good transfer by Napoli by recruiting a 24-year-old Young player. Lozano presence is also expected to sharpen the attack line of Napoli  in the 2019-2020 season later.

Regarding the borrowing of Alexis Sanchez, both Manchester United and Inter milan were actually doing just fine, but it was true that in the final seconds Manchester United decided to postpone the agreement.

Well, as said @tomahawk9 that the agreement might finally be related to salary distribution.

As for the transfers. Two different cases. One player that finally reaches the higher level and two that have to build-up from scratches. I'm cheering for Hirving Lozano since the last World Cup, a hell of a winger. The explosive, magical technique, great dribbling. Everything suggests that he should strengthen an Italian side.

Renato and Alexis? If it would be 2016, I will surely treat their transfers as hits but nowadays... They're in a really big hole of their careers. Renato for 3 years, Alexis for about 2. In theory, they could come back to greatness but they can get even deeper into their holes as well. At least for now, their transfers are the puzzle for me.

I hope that Icardi will finally get a transfer to another club and especially in Napoli.
This guy has a great future and he is so talented. A transfer to Napoli will be his change to prove his dominance as a Striker in the Italian Serie A league.
I also want him to go to another club, he's a great striker (wouldn't mind him in my Real Madrid tbh, but we already have Jovic). Icardi in Napoli with Insigne, Verdi, Mertens, Callejon, etc, could be deadly.

Btw, did you see Mundo Deportivo's cover today? Seems like the catalans are not ruling out Juventus from a possible transfer? Cover here

It's been reported that PSG had just reject Real Madrid's offer of €100M + 3 players.
I think that's what it says on the cover of today's L'equipe newspaper:

(source)

IMO that's the dumbest news I've heard in this transfer window. Does anyone actually believe that Real Madrid made that offer and, not just that, but that PSG rejected it? Really dissapointed on L'equipe for releasing such garbage article.

Some updates

• NKoudou (Tottenham) to Besiktas done deal. (source)

• Bayern 04 Leverkusen keen on Lovren (Liverpool).

• Inter and Napoli agreed terms for the transfer of Icardi, now it's up to the player (and his Master, Wanda Nara) whether to accept the move to Napoli or not. (source)

I hope that Icardi will finally get a transfer to another club and especially in Napoli.
