Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of joining Inter Milan. Romelu Lukaku played a key role in convincing Sanchez to accept Inter's offer.

The Nerazzurri have a deal with Manchester United to borrow the Chilean soccer star for this season, Tuesday (8/27/2019). However, the agreement does not include Sanchez's permanent purchase option after the contract expires.

Is this agreement official or is it still being processed?
If the transfer (loan) of Alexis Sanchez happens in the near future, it is certain that Inter is very enthusiastic this season to compete for the Serie title. I hope this transfer will happen soon and there are no more problems in the future between Manchester United and Inter.

Following Inter's signing of Alexis Sanchez Juventus made a new attempt to sign Mauro Icardi. I read somewhere that the offer was €35 million + one of Juves midfielders (can't remember who) and Inter immediately turned it down. I still believe they would rather die than to sell him to Juventus.

@Daniel91 Neymar saga is not over as Barcelona is very confident that they’ll be able to take him on loan this season, and then buy him permanently next season. According to news reports Rakitic has accepted the transfer, but Dembele is refusing to join PSG but if he changes his mind then this transfer will take place immediately. Honestly this saga needs to end now so PSG can buy players to replace Neymar, and I can’t help but feel bad for Squarez who’ll have to either exit the club or warm the bench once Neymar arrives.

I can't see how it can happen.

PSG paid to Barca 220 M € 2 years ago to get Neymar, now the player want to leave and they will loan him back to Barca for free?

This will never happen, PSG wants a deal done stop for the same amount of value of money spent 24 months earlier. (with Barca)

Chiringuito TV from Spain, announced that Neymar's return to Barcelona had failed.
In the last offer, Barcelona offered 125 million euros, Rakitic and Dembele and PSG accepted it but both players refused the transfer to PSG.
What a saga! Smiley

This actually sums up how incompetent Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Ed Woodward are in the management of the affairs of the company

I was watching an analysis of the Manchester United equation some time this week, and it  made me see it as more of a management (board) failure, than coach (technical staff). This is the fourth manager since Sir Alex, man United has been steadily dropping as they moved from one to the other.

Lots of money has been spent during that time, and not much has been gained by the club on the field. No distinct style of play. And they are already losing most of the pedigree gotten over the decades they were successful.

I had expected that the Neymar transfer drama would continue until no agreement was made. Actually it was very good PSG accepted an offer from Barcelona, whether with the disapproval of Rakitic and Dembele this agreement failed. If Barcelona forces Rakitic and Dembele to PSG, is that possible?

But honestly that attempted transfer was kind of silly. To me, Neymar doesn't deserve such a very big price tag and hype. If it was Cristiano Ronaldo in his Mid 20's then this kind of deal would make sense in the current situation.

It's also weird to see a player can reject things like transfer deal like this. Does that even possible? I mean, take a look at Iwobi case. Arsenal suddenly sold him, and he was not also expecting it. It seems like the player are kept in the dark.

On the other hand, 125 million euros is a crazy number for a player who got injured a lot. Is this news even real?

Imagine! Especially for the case of Dembele. He literary rebelled in Borrusia Dortmund to get a chance to play in Barcelona and now they are just trying all possible ways to get rid of him?  Grin

He would definitely never agree to leave... Maybe after a couple more years.

Looks like one of the big trasfer sagas in this transfer window may have come to an end:

That's good news for Alexis.
I hope that Inter is going to have a very competitive team this season and why not finish on the third place easily.
He needs a team to build his career finally, he is always on the run.

@Tomahawk9 what do you think of Neymar's transfer?
I think it'll be a fantastic deal for everyone involved. Barcelona will get the old MSN back, PSG will let go a player who, due to this transfer, was spreading a toxic atmosphere throughout the whole club, and Neymar will finally be able to focus on what he does best: play football.

You mentioned his ego and how he's spoiled...Don't think that'll be a problem in Barcelona with the likes of Pique, Messi, and Suarez, keeping him in check, unlike in PSG where he had way too much freedom and he could do whatever the hell he wanted because he was the main star of the club. In Barcelona, he will be the second fiddle, something that I think will suit him best right now to get his confidence back until he can be a top-class player again.

I read that he’s on over £350,000 per week at United, what a shitty signing he turned out to be. Media are saying he will be on loan to Inter but United will have to pay half the wages.
Yeah, Man Utd will pay 60% of his wages while Inter will pay the rest. Terrible deal for Man Utd lol

^  I hope he does well under Conte.  What's left of his career anyway.
He was pure quality in the last Copa America with Chile. He's still got a few more years left in elite football.

Anyway, anybody got any rumors on Pogba and Real?

TL;DR 200M is too much for RM, and Pogba won't force a move, meaning that RM could sign either Eriksen or Van de Beek if Zizou gives the green light.

Also, this happened today: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9811019/man-utd-pogba-out-spray-paint-sign-carrington/

@Tomahawk9 what do you think of Neymar's transfer? For me, he is a disgrace for football as a whole. Not only PSG, Real Madrid or Barca. For the whole of football. He's so spoiled and has so big ego that I even wonder how he still stays on the ground. He should be playing in some Martians league or something Wink

But for being honest and serious, it's a shame that the footballers have not only all the money but all the power in this world. They can do whatever they want, whenever they want and with whoever they want. Neymar is a fantastic player, a pure genius that gathers millions at the stadiums and in front of TVs. But it seems to me that he's even better in being a bad person than in being a good footballer. Unfortunately.

I'm surprised Manchester United are still letting players go without buying replacements. Ander Herrera, Romelu Lukaku, and now Alexis Sanchez. They have a thin squad and this would create problems for them later on in the season. They have the January transfer window, but have 15 games between now and then.
The title race can not be won by then, but it would be lost by then for many clubs.
This actually sums up how incompetent Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Ed Woodward are in the management of the affairs of the company,A technical director is needed at the club so that Woodward can do the financial aspects of club because he isn't good when it comes to player acquisitions and transfers for the club and with Solksjaer he is way over his head and will be sacked soon.

If he is strong, they will never send him on loan. I'm guessing he is not on his bast shape anymore.
