Slava Ukraini!
RIP Sala...  Cry
It's nice gesture from club that they retire number 9. But at the same time Nantes demand for transfer fee from Cardiff in such sad sad situation. Football is business, but it's not right time to talk about money...

Dorset Police declared yesterday that the body recovered from the plane wreckage earlier this was that of the Argentinian Striker, the body of the pilot on the other hand is yet to be found. According to news from Goal.com

It is said that Nantes will retire his number 9 jersey.

I think that's a great gesture from the club, even though the loss is irreplaceable.
My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

Interesting. So Napoli loses the chance of selling a 31yo player for a huge amount of money, they'll probably won't get another offer for him again (unless they can sort out the payment issues with the chinese club). Well, at least they get to keep him for the rest of the season.
The transfer window in China is active until the end of February so there is still time to sort it out. Now when the club has agreed terms with the player and he has said his goodbyes I think they will come to some sort of agreement soon.

^  Wow Ozil's way over paid imo.  And so is Sanchez (Mou's fault).  Lol.

Anyway, what's the latest news on Coutinho leaving Barca?  Last time I checked, Man United is interested.  Lololol.

Coutinho hasn’t set the world alight at Barca so I could actually see that move to Chelsea as Hazard’s replacement happening. He would be a good fit for Chelsea.

To be fair, he wasn't exactly ever going to have a proper chance at Barcelona. He simply is not a good fit, even though earlier days even the media did their best to make it seem like he was fitting in with the others especially with Luis Suarez.

I agree he will make a really good move to Chelsea, Sarri ball is what Coutinho can do better than now. Hazard's replacement I'm not sure though.

The transfer of Hamsik has been suspended due to payment differences

Also it seems Hazard may not leave Chelsea as Madrid want Neymar, thoughts on this?.
As a RM fan, I'd take Hazard rather than an undisciplined and injury prone player like Neymar.

According to The Independent, Chelsea wants Coutinho to replace Hazard 1. It seems like the belgian will leave the english club at the end of the season.

How will this move happen now if the season is not yet over and the January transfer window is closed? Is there a special exception for non-european teams buying players outside the transfer window?
The transfer window is closed for new arrivals to Serie A teams but they can still sell their players to leagues were the transfer window is not yet closed, like in China.

I read rumours that a Chinese club offered Mario Mandzukic a $10 Million a year contract which he turned down and he is expected to extend his contract with Juve until 2022/2023.
Well I haven't seen that kind of move, maybe I haven't notice is since mostly the transfer window moves I only see are from European countries as well as South American Countries besides that other regions are silent when it comes to big moves, but all of that can change especially when China is going big for their Football League, the advantage for this is European teams can sell their unwanted players even if the transfer window is closed, but I think there would be a change in regulation once they see an abuse with the system.

Yes it seems Hamsik is actually leaving. Reports yesterday suggested that he would be flying for Madrid to carry out medical examinations. After that it is expected that he will sign a 3 year contract with Dalian Yifang.

The transfer of Hamsik has been suspended due to payment differences, and he even skipped training which I feel is a bad decision on his part as he’ll be fined for that. I believe many players are now looking to play in the Chinese league due to higher salaries, but they’ll be forgotten by fans as it’s not a popular league. Also it seems Hazard may not leave Chelsea as Madrid want Neymar, thoughts on this?.

TBH that was a shocker for me when I saw the news but its his future to decide. There have been many who got transferred to Chinese leagues but I would say the most foolish players are the ones who at young age are moving to China just because of some higher salary and thereby fail to see the difference of play quality b/w Chinese and European leagues. A best case: Oscar perhaps?

Decision of players who are in the brink of retirement (have just 2-3 years left to play) are understandable but if someone who is young takes it and has a good potential takes such then I would only think of it as a foolish idea.

By the way calciomercato is not the most reliable news for Football in Italy, most of them are even recycled from other news sources that are also unreliable.

Transfer window is still open in China.  Wink

Hamsik's transfer isn't done yet. There seems to be disagreements about the transfer fee.

Surprised to see Hamsik take the easy route & go there for big wages in a crap leagues. I guess it’s a nice pension to get at the end of his career.

Napoli's Marek Hamsik seems to be on his way to Dalian Yifang, China for a transfer estimated between 15 and 20 millions Euros.

Not bad price even for Hamsik but i guess he will stay until summer
Now Napoli need to buy somebody to replace him
If i'm not mistaken, the transfer window in china closes at the end of February, so it wouldn't be surprising if he actually leaves right now...Some reports are saying that he played his last game with Napoli yeterday, even the fans gave him an ovation when he left the pitch at 74' min.

I would rank Hamsik as the #2 most important player in the history of Napoli, right behind Maradonna...what a legend!

Hamsik presentation in his new club will be Monday
So he is leaving now
real Napoli legend over 500 games over 100 goals
He was very popular in Neapol mafia was protecting him
It was possible for him to not lock his car for night or even house
People are loving him

He was below form long time club gave him green light
He will make 9 mln euro a year in China now
