When I saw this report earlier today, I felt Manchester United management doesn't actually know what they want. Xavi Hernandez during his time at Barcelona did amazing job but I feel he's not the kind of manager that's needed to improve Manchester United current form. There are a lot of available managers who I think are more experienced than Xavi Hernandez at the moment and are more tactically fit to handle the club. But if at the end Xavi Hernandez gets the job, it'll be a better option for Manchester United than their current manager Erik ten Hag

Daily mail has revealed that Manchester United has been in talk with Xavi Hernandez over 10 days now. It appears that it is more obvious that Manchester United needs a new coach after ETH has gone 7 matches winning only 1.
The Catalian legend is among the top priority of Manchester United. While many argue that Xavi is not a better coach than Erik Ten Hang, I have a huge confidence in Xavi. He really did some nice job inCamp Nou even with limited funds. However, he has his own weakness which is inability to play well in European competition. But the introduction of a new coach in Manchester United will change many things for the club.

While they need to be thinking of replacement for Harry Maguire, who's currently age 31,Andre Onana still has many more years to spend at Manchester United since he's still 28 years and may even be able to remain after a decade if he can be consistent and continue with his form, just every other top goalie in their late 30's now.

Ten Hag has ruined the team most especially from the fact that, he has spent a lot on players and still nothing as change , while majority of the players has failed to meet up to expectation, not forgetting they were often bought with a high fee, they don't really worth. This is the part I think the next coach coming to replace him will suffer from more, since I wonder where they will see funds to get the players he wants or team who will even sign some players in a cut off price of a loss.

Wow, I see you still believe in Ten Hag  I remember you defended him last season, but it seemed impossible to continue doing so now. Whatever local "victories" he may have, it is obvious that United are underperforming.
It seems to me that literally any replacement will be no worse than what we have now under him. Even if we fire Ten Hag and put Nistelrooy in until the end of the season, it won't be worse.

Guardiola's contract with Manchester City will expire in the summer of 2025, so this season is his last season if you look at the existing contract. Speculation about Guardiola leaving is actually something that I myself am not surprised about, because from several names of clubs that he has handled, he will soon leave the club after he feels satisfied with the achievements he has presented. Xabi Alonso has made a big name for himself in football, not only as a player at big clubs but now also as a coach and he has just started, he will be one of the young generation's big coaching names with time. He started his coaching career just a few years ago as a Real Madrid youth coach in 2018 and has built a good name in coaching. The guy must be exceptional and lucky judging by how many good retired footballers are failing as a coach and no doubt that every club wants him now. His move from the Real Sociedad B team to Leverkusen in 2022 was an excellent choice and he was able to win the Bundesliga after coaching a full season to beat the likes of Bayern and Dortmund. I pray he is consistent in this coaching journey, but he might want to spend more time in Leverkusen than people thought even though Leverkusen is now in doubt but his contract still extends to 2026.

It would be natural if Alonso's name was associated with Manchester City, Alonso only has to continue the legacy left by Pep Guardiola. Yeah, that is if Pep does not extend his contract with Manchester City. We believe that even if Pep has chosen his future, he will not say it that quickly. Just because of some of his statements regarding wanting something new, many sports media reported that Pep will soon leave City. In addition, Pep has also expressed his desire to coach a national team. So, wild speculation in many news reports has become a rumor in the world of football. If there is a rumor or issue that reports that Alonso will be Pep Guardiola's successor at City, that is natural. Because, he was able to bring Leverkusen much better. Although Alonso once made a statement that the former team he once defended would be his next destination. However, if the offer comes from City and Alonso is ready, it could happen. It's just that, for now we just assume it's just an issue. After all, Pep Guardiola never made a statement before this season ended. perhaps, he will extend his contract even if only for one season. what is certain, Pep is focused so that his team can defend the Premier League title again and maybe they are serious about prioritizing the Champions League trophy.

With this rumor, it is likely that Man City has monitored several coaches on their radar, if for example Xabi rejects the offer then another option must exist if Pep Guardiola really leaves.

After Bayer Leverkusen stated that they are ready for Xabi Alonso's departure next summer, there has been a lot of speculation about Xabi Alanso's future. Currently, Alonso is a strong candidate at Real Madrid and Man City, but what is most visible at this time is that Man City has shown real interest and is preparing for the possibility of Pep Guardiola leaving next summer, although Pep Guardiola has not yet decided his future with Man City.

Xabi Alonso would be very happy if he is called upon by Real Madrid to manage the team, because that is every coach dream.

Xabi Alonso also has strong ties to Liverpool which makes it even more difficult to consider a move to Manchester City. I’m sure Manchester City will do everything they can to convince Pep to renew his contract to avoid falling down the pecking order like Manchester United and Chelsea did. If Manchester City cannot get Xabi, they may turn their attention to Mikel Arteta. It’s a safe bet that they would be interested in a manager that has worked under Pep. But I don’t see him leaving Arsenal for Manchester City.

It's not enough, the improvement is small and not yet enough to fight against top teams. Onana and Maguire are currently in their prime ages, so I don't think they will make a big change if Manchester United keep them. Manchester United still need to find better players to replace them.

Ten Hag need to be sacked ASAP or he will ruin the team more.

This is something often seen with Manchester United management with some of their coaches, though Ten Hag own has been much special, I guessed they have been blinded by his past two trophies and couldn't realised that Ten Hag socks in the Europe and EPL.

Nobody did really pressure him until now when he had been the one choosing the players he signed and till now there haven't been much changes. Though the fact that he's still backed by the Management, if humble himself and try to do better maybe he can turn things around with time since we can agree that there have been a notably improvement in Onana and Harry Maguire.

I partly agree, but for me he ended his career in Qatar in the World Cup final in 2022. Messi was a great player, but I don't think any team would be scared to play against him now. I would be surprised if he even plays in the 2026 World Cup.

Manchester City will need a replacement for when Pep Guardiola leaves the club. I think it is wise that Manchester City is preparing for the possibility that Pep has had enough of the Premier League and may be leaving the club next year. The only problem is that Manchester City are not the only club interested in Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid are also in the race for the manager. And I don’t think Xabi will pick Manchester City over Real Madrid for obvious reasons.

Pep has been coaching for many years and I think he might want to take at least a year off like Klopp. I truly hope that Pep will take charge of the England National Team and win the World Cup. Only a genius like Pep can lift the curse on the English. If he can win the Champions league and Premier league with Manchester City this season, I think Pep will leave the team and go on vacation for 1 year
