Except Antonio Rudiger, I don't think there's any German centre-back defender that's better than Jonathan Tah at the moment. If Barcelona manages to secure the signing of the Bayer Leverkusen defender, I think it'll be a great addition to the squad and will made the team's defense more formidable to break for opposing players. Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is a German and that I think is an added advantage because he'll surely know how to bring out the best from his compatriot so I expect Jonathan Tah to be better than he is currently is he signs for Barcelona.

It is obvious that Barcelona is having money problems that are affecting their ability to make important player transfers and fix internal problems. Dani Olmo would probably do better in stable and secure team environment which Hansi Flick coaching could provide. However club money problems especially fact that they spend more than they earn are big hurdle. Selling players they do not need could help bring in some money but it might not be enough to complete transfers like Jonathan Tah which cost a lot of money. Barcelona needs to fix their money problems so they can move forward and compete with other top teams.

21 million euros looks expensive compared to other rumors like Transfermarkt. On the other hand, if you compare it to other young players' transfer windows that doesn't sound expensive. I guess that's just how the market is today. Where does this number come from though? Based on what I read Southampton bought him for less than 2 million euros. 21 is such an odd number, is it simply because he's young and his contract is still quite long or are there any additional add-ons besides the transfer fees?

I think it is time Arda Güler takes the next step in his career and move to another club that will guarantee him playing time. Arda Güler is a young and promising footballer that needs a lot of playing time to be able to realize his full potential, Carlo Ancelloti has not be able to give him that since he moved to the Santiago Bernabéu from Turkish League. Arda Güler has not received the kind of exposure that he needs to boost his career. Seeing Bayer Leverkusen pushing for his signature should would be interesting as they will surely guarantee him a place as a starter which will be essential for his growth and progress at this crucial stage of his career.

He was never going to be a starter there, he knew about it t before he signed the contract, he's only a prosper and not a crucial member of the team. The best solution would be to go on loan for to mid table team with less pressure to get more playing time to help his development. He's not going to achieve that on the bench week in, weeks out.

Arda Guler is seen as the future of Real Madrid. And just as you said he is aware that he needs to be patient. Karim Benzema had to wait until Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid before he began to feature consistently or enjoy first team shirt in Real Madrid.

He's not leaving... several reliable football sources have already published that Arda Güler has stated his certainty to the Real Madrid board that he does not intend to leave the Santiago Bernabéu to play for Bayer Leverkusen.
