Manchester United is linked to several names: Xavi, Southgate, and Terzic, and Thomas Frank. Bu, a report said United is intensively in talks with Xavi instead of other candidates. However, not all fans are happy with it. The majority of United fans wanted Amorim instead of Xavi.

-snip
I think only a small number of fans disagree with Xavi if he becomes the coach of Man United. And I am also sure that even though they disagree, if Xavi can provide positive results, surely the fans disapproval will turn into trust.
Of the several candidates, I only have 2 choices that I think are worthy of becoming the coach of Man United, Xavi or Ediz Terzic.
Both coaches have been recognized and in my opinion have good experience and even Xavi was able to overcome problems when he was still with Barcelona. I am sure that if Xavi becomes the coach of Man United, there will be many positive changes in the team's performance.
In my opinion, Xavi is the most appropriate choice, because what Manchester United needs right now is a manager who has a champion mentality. We can imagine if Xavi was in The Red Devils dressing room, all the players would acknowledge his greatness and would respect him wholeheartedly, because as a player Xavi has won everything. As a manager, Xavi has proven his ability, leading Barcelona to win the La Liga trophy when the team was in a financial crisis, and their main competitor was Real Madrid. I would put Edin Terzic after Xavi. We realize that there are many differences between La Liga and the Premier League, but in my opinion Xavi has the ability to manage Manchester United to be better. Apart from all that, what the Red Devils fans need right now is consistent victory, once again, I think Xavi can offer a solution to that.

Though you made mentioned of pep guardiola which truly is the kind of top manager that can handle real madrid, but his affiliate with Barcelona will definitely not bring this deal to reality, so in my own opinion, I think that the ideal person that can take real madrid forward after carlo ancelotti is xabi Alonso, the current manager of Bayern Leverkusen, he has already proven in his short coaching career that he has what it takes to lead a top team, so I believe that he is the ideal man to take real madrid forward after carlo ancelotti.
That's what I mean and maybe Pep Guardiola will not hurt the feelings of Barcelona fans or management by going to Real Madrid so if you look at the chances it is very small. I still doubt Xabi Alonso because it takes time for him to become the best coach and for now he has not been tested regarding his capacity in handling a big team like Real Madrid. His success at Leverkusen cannot be used as a reference for his coaching quality unless this season he successfully defended the Bundesliga title for the second time for Leverkusen.

As the team's performance is getting worse and worse for Ten Hag, Manchester United should sack this manager as soon as possible and replace him with a competent manager. For Manchester United, this manager has not been able to prove himself as much as he has been given the opportunity. After a manager takes over a strong team, the team may perform poorly for a season or two, but since taking over, Manchester United have underperformed under him and that consistency is still there. Manchester United must find a good quality manager, Manchester United must fire this manager and hire a new one even if the team needs it.
I fully support the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag since he took over this team there has been no impressive change and instead looks increasingly depressed, especially this season his reputation team declined, he got a ticket to the Europa League and should have performed well in that tournament because when compared to the Champions League the quality of the UEL is different but unfortunately Manchester United could not perform optimally and in the Premier League it was the same I am very fed up with Ten Hag's performance so far but the team management always gives him a chance and still trusts him if the club is still determined to retain this manager we don't need to be surprised by Man United's result bad throughout this season.

Daily mail has revealed that Manchester United has been in talk with Xavi Hernandez over 10 days now. It appears that it is more obvious that Manchester United needs a new coach after ETH has gone 7 matches winning only 1.
The Catalian legend is among the top priority of Manchester United. While many argue that Xavi is not a better coach than Erik Ten Hang, I have a huge confidence in Xavi. He really did some nice job inCamp Nou even with limited funds. However, he has his own weakness which is inability to play well in European competition. But the introduction of a new coach in Manchester United will change many things for the club.
I have heard many rumors regarding Coaches linked to Manchester United, I still will not be surprised should the owners of the club choose to give more time into next season. I have heard Simone Inzaghi, Gareth Southgate, now Xavi, and just I will not be surprised to see ETH given more time, I will not also be to hear that Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken over and has been given an opportunity. Manchester United are in need of desperate improvement, and maybe having a coach who played in the club during it's greatest years and has a record of one of the club's best strikers can help bring back the club to glory days. Will you be surprised?

Also, a very important name is Edin Terzic. He may come to Old Trafford. Many fans are negative about him after his sacking by Dortmund. Still, he's reliable enough. It's weird to see you mention Simeone Inzaghi. He has confirmed he stayed at Intermilan and is happy there.

And it seems Van Nistelrooy is no longer a candidate for the Manchester United coaching job.

This is something often seen with Manchester United management with some of their coaches, though Ten Hag own has been much special, I guessed they have been blinded by his past two trophies and couldn't realised that Ten Hag socks in the Europe and EPL.

Nobody did really pressure him until now when he had been the one choosing the players he signed and till now there haven't been much changes. Though the fact that he's still backed by the Management, if humble himself and try to do better maybe he can turn things around with time since we can agree that there have been a notably improvement in Onana and Harry Maguire.
It's not enough, the improvement is small and not yet enough to fight against top teams. Onana and Maguire are currently in their prime ages, so I don't think they will make a big change if Manchester United keep them. Manchester United still need to find better players to replace them.

Ten Hag need to be sacked ASAP or he will ruin the team more.

Xavi is better and he is very good than Erik Ten Hag, anyone who thinks Xavi can not coach Manchester United does not know anything about football, Xavi had a good season for the first time he came to Barcelona and he won the La Liga trophy for the team, I know that many people will use Xavi performance in Barcelona last season but if we look at what happened to Barcelona we will know that Xavi is not the problem of Barcelona, Barcelona did not have good players last season and that is the reason why they can't play very well.

Last season, Barcelona faced financial issues and also lacked good players which made Barcelona loan some players who were not in good shape to the team In the end, they started blaming the coach, Manchester United should get Xavi as the new coach in January and be able to win a trophy but if they did not get any coach in January the team will end up without any trophy this season.

Erik Ten Hag has been a very poor tactical coach of recent at Manchester United and because of that I also personally do believe he needs to leave as things aren’t getting better at the moment but I will argue with you that Xavi isn’t better than Erik Ten Hag because the stats are there, many will argue the Erik Ten Hag has been successful in the the Dutch league with AJAX and has won many trophies more than Xavi Hernandez. Xavi might have meet Barcelona in disarray but he has the backing fully of the board something i wouldn’t say Ten Hag lack but it is certainly not the same in the two clubs. Sorry to say but Xavi won the league with Barcelona when Madrid where not at their best or Atletico weren’t even challenging, in the EPL such success isn’t guaranteed again as it is not a two horse race like there in the Laliga.

Whether Xavi will win trophy with Manchester United is still a question that we wouldn’t know but for me I will certainly have another more experienced coach than Xavi at Manchester United, this doesn’t mean he is better than other options like potter and Southgate though
After two and a half years coaching Barcelona and helping the team win another La Liga championship. This achievement is enough to say Xavi Hernandez is better than Erik Ten Hag. In the context of Barcelona facing many financial difficulties, Xavi does not need to buy much to create a winning team. Barcelona winning La Liga in 2023 against a mighty Real Madrid is proof. Xavi's controlled but effective football philosophy could turn MU into a competitive and consistent team like Arsenal. Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag has full authority to buy and sell players at will. But last season MU only ranked 8th.

Xavi Hernandez also pursues a balb-control style of play, so if he replaces Ten Hag, this coach won't have to spend too much time arranging the squad. MU needs to be quicker if they don't want to "miss out" on Xavi Hernandez.

Some real shit spilled above. Xavi Hernandez is no better manager than Erik ten Hag and I will agree with that. Most of these Manchester United players are low when it comes to morale and if anyone things Erik is the man upping that I don't think I know what to say to them. Do you think Enzo Maresca is a better manager than Erik Ten Hag? I don't think so too. I don't want to compare but most of what these managers are doing in their first season has got to be what Erik Ten Hag did during his first season likewise for Manchester United.  Well, not expecting shit from him, whatever the plans the club management has should be executed.

Sadly man fans wouldn’t see the point that before Erik Ten Hag Manchester United had greats like Mourinho and Van Gaal who have won silverwares with top clubs and couldn’t reflect it at Manchester United. To even break a bubble I will tell you this for fact, it is usually the second season that each of these managers usually ran into problems and we get a kick at them, check their performances in their first season it usually puts the club in the right direction but then the second season you see internal problems sufficing and the ever ready English medias write almost as everything about kicking the manage out,

I don’t like Ten Hag and even if he got the whip today I wouldn’t be bothered but mate it is high time we realize that the club hierarchy needs to sort themselves out. Currently I like the new management under Ashworth and Barella as they seems to realize it is not the coaching problem only but beyond that and that’s why they’ve been making moves to clear the top first. My only problem with Ten Hag is actually his lack of ability to change this pattern and make things simple

The introduction of a new coach will change things but for how long will the things change stay that way until they begin to return to the normal way. Manchester United are in a mess that they need to not only replaces the coach but some other staffs and players need to go for the club to start moving forward. Xavi Hernandez isn't a better coach than Erik ten hang but it's due to the condition at the club that things aren't moving as smoothly as we would have expected. Manchester United losing against small teams is due to some issues that we don't know and not due to the coach being poor at his jon. Even though he's poor, atleast the players should be able to win some games on their own but that isn't happening.

No one knows if Guardiola will leave City when his contact expires or he would renew it, but if he leaves and Xabi Alonso becomes City head coach, that means City will continue to maintain their form but if he doesn't accept coming to City, then it will be a problem for them, so City needs to have an alternative coach in their mind incase he turns doan their offer. Xabi Alonso would be very happy if he is called upon by Real Madrid to manage the team, because that is every coach dream.
In sports, nothing is certain. Xabi Alonso might be having a good time in the Bundesliga and have nightmares in the English Premier League. I also do not know the source of the rumour that Pep has plans to move out of Manchester City. The only news I heard was that the English FA wanted him to take over the Three Lions. And he turned down the offer. For now, he is focused on winning more trophies for the Cityzens. I might not be correct, but Pep might be enticed to coach a country because he has won everything at the club level. Maybe winning the Euros or the World Cup might be a better motivation.

Meanwhile, the Bayer Leverkusen coach is enjoying his stay in the club after turning down job propositions from Bayern Munich and Leverkusen. The next moves of these two great coaches will become clearer after this season.
No one can say rightly how a coach or a player will play and perform in the next clubs even though their are doing well in their present club's, we have to understand that there are factors that contribute to success of a player in the club's and same thing goes with a coach too, so saying that because Xabi Alonso is doing well in his present club, means that he will do well when and if he get sign up to Manchester city, that could be far from the reality when the time comes, and that is also subject to numerous factors whichever ways it will take time to be achieved.

I also don't think that the contract for the coach to get through to Manchester city will go through because of some interest that is at play and how those interest can effect the club decision to get Alonso onboard Manchester city for this coming season when his contract expires.

This is still a rumor and actually I think in this case the media is too raising rumors about Xabi in conditions of Pep Guardiola who still does not have clarity for his future at Manchester City.
Indeed for Leverkusen they have always emphasized that they will not try to hold or send Xabi away from coaching but with Xabi's statement last season it still seems difficult for him to leave because he also emphasized that he still wants to continue to be at Leverkusen until he is really ready to start a new career in another competition.

I think in this case as long as there is still no certainty about Pep and Xabi then everything will continue to roll like a hot ball and it is not impossible that in the end there will be some rumors about other coaches being linked with Manchester City when there is still no clarity about Pep's future.

Wow, I see you still believe in Ten Hag  Grin I remember you defended him last season, but it seemed impossible to continue doing so now. Whatever local "victories" he may have, it is obvious that United are underperforming.
It seems to me that literally any replacement will be no worse than what we have now under him. Even if we fire Ten Hag and put Nistelrooy in until the end of the season, it won't be worse.

Yeah, slightly but I feel Manchester United do not need all of these bloody excuses no more. I did defend him and that because,  I saw him during his first season for Manchester United,  the players he had then had the zeal to play for him and represent the Manchester United badge, it wasn't same during the second season players did not fight for the manager only a couple few did. He is not a bad manager, things hasn't just clicked. Manchester United  did well against Jose Mourinho,  No? I currently do not care what they do. Arsenal would have sacked Mikel Arteta during his third season if they lacked patience. They should do better and if they're to get a replacement, it should be a goddamn upgrade.

That's exactly how it is and the sad thing is that under Ten Hag very good players have been portrayed very badly. The best example of this is Cristiano Ronaldo, who was sent away from ManU because of the coach. It's already time to change the coach, I don't know who else to blame for the team's poor performance?

At least for Cristiano he left quickly and still contributed well when he was still needed because if you look at the worse conditions, the examples of Casemiro or Varane and even some new players who actually have potential such as Antony who did play very well at his previous club were destroyed in the hands of Ten Hag.

It is difficult indeed it seems for Ten Hag to be in the EPL because this is not a friendly place for him to train let alone the pressure for a big club like Manchester United this is certainly even more difficult for him.

Many of the fans are still proud of Ten Hag's trophies in his coaching but actually with the big name of Manchester United and with his current performance I don't think it closes the fact that Ten Hag is actually not worthy at Manchester United but the officials seem to turn a deaf ear and close the facts in the condition of Manchester United which has become an ordinary club not a big club anymore.

The possibility of this rumour is sticking out because there are indeed several statements from Pep that seem to hint at him to leave so that even though there are no direct words when there is speculation like this from Pep, especially since the contract at Manchester City is also running out and there is no sign of a contract extension, the news will clearly be fried bigger by the media so that rumours of Pep leaving become news that cannot be missed.

But in this case I have a situation or possibility that will certainly be very difficult for Manchester City if in the end Pep leaves and looks for a new adventure. Not without reason, until now at Manchester City Pep is the only coach who has reached this stage of dominance so losing Pep will be a severe blow to them. Although we are certainly aware that in the end something like this might be minimised by Manchester City trying to keep Pep but they also won't be able to force when Pep wants to leave the Etihad Stadium because he has been in the EPL and Manchester City for quite a long time.

When I saw this report earlier today, I felt Manchester United management doesn't actually know what they want. Xavi Hernandez during his time at Barcelona did amazing job but I feel he's not the kind of manager that's needed to improve Manchester United current form. There are a lot of available managers who I think are more experienced than Xavi Hernandez at the moment and are more tactically fit to handle the club. But if at the end Xavi Hernandez gets the job, it'll be a better option for Manchester United than their current manager Erik ten Hag
