Onana isn't as bad as you put it. His performance was bad last season because of poor defense but this season, Onana is the goalkeeper that has made the highest save in EPL currently. The mistake that he made in their last match was a mistake that no one is above. Amorim believe in him, and he is fit to be United number one goalkeeper. Onana has saved United ass so many times this season.
I also admit that Onana is actually able to give the best contribution to United. And last season Onana had to fight alone when the defenders could not contribute to Onana who seemed to hold back every attack from the opponent.
However, even so, I will not judge Onana too much because in fact MU best guard is only De Gea but unfortunately we have to forget about that and can only hope that Onana can develop his talent to be able to have talent like De Gea.
I believe that if Amorim later makes a reshuffle, Onana will definitely be maintained and Amorim will actually sell some defenders and replace them with new players.

I quite agree with the 4 players who will be sold because apart from their age, they are now starting to be no longer relevant to the attractive game that Amorim wants to bring. Rashford performance is also not too prominent but Onana can still be negotiated because he only needs motivation and is given high trust by Amorim. With the results of the player sales that if successful, Man United has the opportunity to improve several vulnerable positions.

Onana can't become a stable goalkeeper, which is very important for any team that wants to achieve great results, I think that Manchester United should have a goalkeeper of a much higher level, because when in some games the goals conceded are the goalkeeper's fault, then this problem needs to be solved, and it should have been solved a long time ago, long before Amorim arrived. This is not the only problem of the team, and often there are even more of them than there were, I think to make Manchester United great again, a lot of changes need to be made.

The rumors seem to be true, Mo Salah and TAA are planning to leave. Contract extension offers have been made and the decision is between the players and is not yet agreed. We must be prepared if next season has to be without Mo Salah and TAA. The Reds will clearly feel the loss of the spearhead who has contributed a lot so far. I wonder where these two players will end up if they do decide to leave?
I refuse to believe that both TAA and Mo Salah have refused to sign a new contract at the club. Mo Salah has been quite vocal about the club not giving him a new contract. If the rumors are true then Liverpool probably gave them a contract with a low salary or no future guarantee for the player at the club. Mo Salah and Trent are important players for the club and their contribution so far for the club has been great, helping the team to achieve success. Without them, Liverpool title chances will diminish.
Yes, Moh Salah may demand a higher salary than before and the club cannot comply, that's what makes Moh Salah delay signing the contract, and for Trent Alexander-Arnold he may want to leave Liverpool and want to anchor at another top club like Real Madrid he has also felt the bitterness and sweetness at Liverpool he contributed to the club for almost 10 years so he may want to feel a different experience and challenge and his chance to leave is next year when his contract expires.
Yes, I agree. After many years in Liverpool, maybe he might want to use this interest. Trent is a player of sufficient quality for Real Madrid. He should make the best use of the interest shown to him right now and make plans to transfer to Real Madrid and stay there permanently. Of course, if he stays in Liverpool, Liverpool fans will be very happy, but every football player dreams of playing in a team like Real Madrid. Maybe it's time to leave England and go to Spain.

Victor Oshimen, Viktor Gyokeres and now Dusan Vlahovic are linked with Manchester United will the club recruit many strikers this season and play them together? Cheesy
I think it would be better for Man United to determine one of them but if I were myself I would prefer Victor Oshimen because this player seems to have a stronger mentality previously he was at Napoli and won the Scudetto and now at Galatasaray he also creates many goal opportunities, Man United is a big club they need players who have a strong mentality.

I really don't know what they are up to. Having 3 strikers in the squad by selling a LW is meaningless unless you plan to make one of them adapt to play there as well. But I don't think that they plan to do such thing.

Osimhen and Gyökeres seem better strikers to me too. We haven't watched Gyökeres in a bigger league than the Liga Portugal yet though. I hope there wouldn't be another Nunez case.  Tongue

Anyways, if they are going to sell Rashford for sure then they should focus on finding a reliable and productive LW.

If you see what Salah said in a recent interview that said if he was dominant out rather than in, signalling that he might leave Liverpool even though he intends to stay at Anfield, Salah has experienced a salary increase in the previous contract extension and he is as the highest paid player at Liverpool at this time, so I think salary is not the main problem that hinders contract extensions, unless maybe Liverpool wants to cut his salary given his 32 years of age at this time.

As for the not yet-renewal of Trent Alexander Arnold contract, he reportedly wants be the captain positions as a condition of the contract extension, so that it is a complicated situation for Liverpool because on the one hand they also want to keep Van Djik in the squad and guarantee his position as captain at Liverpool.

Onana is actually a quality goalkeeper but seems to be a detriment for Manchester United as his potential for making mistakes is much higher than a goalkeeper. However, every goalkeeper makes mistakes. Only Onana makes more mistakes than acceptable. Goal is not the priority but they can also transfer a good goalkeeper at the end of the year. I think they should focus more on other areas than goalkeeper area.

Trent Alexander Arnold thinks he will go to a team other than Liverpool. He is playing really well at Liverpool right now. He also has the potential to play for any team in the world, including Real Madrid, if he wants. I think Liverpool will continue to make efforts to keep him on the team. It will be very important for Liverpool to keep him on the team for a player who is 26 years old and in Real Madrid's announcement.
Real Madrid are very optimistic about realizing Trent Alexander-Arnold's transfer, Bellingham also played an active role in convincing the Liverpool player to join Real Madrid. Liverpool are still trying to convince the player to stay at Anfield, Arne Slot also continues to give him confidence in the hope that the player is open to extending his contract. Currently there has been no agreement with Real Madrid regarding the transfer process of the player, perhaps the next few weeks will bring clarity on whether he will stay at Liverpool or move to Real Madrid.

I think if Real Madrid wanted him and made him feel this interest, Alexander Arnold may have decided to wait for Real Madrid. Maybe Real Madrid will consider adding him to the team at the end of the season, as it did with Mbappé. Trent could be one of the best options at right back after Carvajal. Liverpool want to keep him but they should try harder than ever to convince him.

Onana is a good goalkeeper, but I agree that his performances are not so consistent that it makes Manchester United's defense easy to penetrate sometimes. To bring in a new goalkeeper, of course they have to sell their main goalkeeper, unless they will make one of them as a second cover. However, usually when a team brings in a new goalkeeper, they have to sacrifice their main goalkeeper to be sold or loaned. But this is also not something that can be guaranteed to be successful, I mean sometimes a change does not bring anything better. The point is they have to be very selective when they want to bring in new players.
Whatever it means, Manchester United goalkeeper is improving in all matches, he's no robot but a human being that's not above imperfections. He makes mistakes and apologized, the team pardons his acts and also exhibits potentials that served him to be in great form, atleast in the red jerseys. André Onana have both a great goalkeeper and a bad one for Manchester United since his arrival at Old Trafford. There are some games, where the Cameroonian makes crucial mistakes that would definitely lead to goals and there are important matches, he stands up as the promising savior for the Red Devils.

Ruben Amorim wouldn't accept the ideology of signing a new goalkeeper because he has more compressing issues at hand, his squad in not balance and in January transfer window, he will simply make efforts to appoints the specialized targeted players he pleases. There'd something to noticed about Amorim, he's working so hard to get Manchester United back on track because it's never an easy task task to handled the managerial role in Old Trafford and in one of these elite teams where the expectations is driven high by the fans and the team's management. Watch and see if he's potent to elevate the club's level of performance this season or wait till the next.

Alexander-Arnold have longed been linked to Real Madrid for a while now and this news is not coming as a shock to me as Real Madrid is really in need of a player to take over Carvajal’s position who is already out of season and his age also won’t make him to perform optimally as he use to in the past. If Alexander-Arnold did not renew his contract, that’s already a big sign that he’s ready to move to Real Madrid when they come with the offer by January and it’ll be a boost to his career too.
It's true. Liverpool's Trent Alexander Arnold has been linked with Real Madrid in recent time. Real Madrid is a club most footballers dream of playing for in their prime years. It is possible Trent Alexander Arnold will not sign a contract extension at Liverpool as he will be hoping to play for the biggest club in the world and write his name in the history books alongside with the greats that have wore the Real Madrid shirt.
Trent Alexander Arnold once spoke to the media that signing a contract with Liverpool before was not publicized even now we will not do that, so this is still curious whether he is quietly extending the contract or going down another path?
Liverpool fans hope Trent Alexander Arnold stays at our club, but the decision is in his hands and the media is still finding out where he will go.

What makes you think he lacks motivation though? From the last few games that I watched Onana makes too many mistakes and it's doubtful a lack of motivation is the issue. He performed quite well before, saving Manchester United from losing. Judging from interviews he has a strong personality, if that's the right word for it. I don't think motivation is the issue for him tbh, just consistency on stopping goals. It's not a bad choice to look for another first-choice goalkeeper and put Onana as backup IMO. CMIIW.

In the past, Manchester United failed to scout and sign younger talents but rather went for overrated players which didn't turn out well, but i think this new Sporting management of the club led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his crew are beginning to figure out the errors made by the previous management (Glaziers) and seeking possible solution, so i believe that's why they're beginning to prioritize younger talents over made players that would be signed for a huge figure yet they won't make much impact to the team, it's a welcome development and highly needed concerning the transition stage they're currently in, Ruben Amorin would be pleased with this cause he needs younger talents who would hit the ground running and blend in immediately they come in for him to succeed as a manager here.
Experienced players are also quite important to make the team stronger but previously they did not take advantage of the young talent they had so they spent a lot of money to recruit expensive players but the team did not develop. Some positions need experienced players because they can motivate young talents and the experience they have can give them confidence when facing crucial matches in the competition. Now the method is starting to be improved and young talents are starting to be integrated into the team so we can see that there are many young players who get the chance to play. Amorim's strategy has also not been fully implemented by the players because it may need adaptation and maybe if he is given a longer chance there will be a big change for Manchester United.

Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Harry Maguire are players who have the potential to be released by Manchester United in the upcoming transfer market, because they are over 30 years old. Several other players also have the potential to be included in Manchester United sales list, even Rashford and Onana are currently rumored to be released too. In my opinion, it is time for The Red Devils management to rejuvenate the squad, this step is also a form of support for Ruben Amorim. Actualy, a player like Antony also deserves to be released, the former Ajax player has failed to meet expectations, it can be seen that his market value has now dropped significantly.

I do believe that Manchester United should include one or two new players and give them a chance to see how they fit in the team. The performance of them is on the decline and we are seeing this in this season where they have won only 5 matches in premier league and lost 6 matches. They aren't in the top 10 teams currently on the points standing and it is obviously against their standard. Also keep in mind, just bringing new blood in the team won't have an immediate effect but in the long run, it will be beneficial for the team.

Not many managers can join a team and make use of the old players there to get success, they have to alter the team by selling some, loan others and bring in their own players to get better results. In January when the transfer window opens, we should be expecting Manchester United to be very busy in the transfer. Even though they don't bring in the players that we are expecting, atleast they have to let go of alot of flops that they have currently at the club that isn't contributing anything to the team but only receiving salary weekly and making Manchester United to be at a lost. The summer transfer should be when the buying of players should be active.

I'm thinking Manchester United's priority is to release Rashford instead of those old players. I know they have to offload a lot of players, but as far as i know i see no demand came to their old players. They're lack of budget to rebuild their club and has to sold the players who have big demand.

The only best way is that selling rashford. I don't even see a reason to keep him much longer in the club. He's been consistently declining. It's good to sell him first, then think about how to offload the rest later.

However, there may be some fans disagree with me, but that's fine. Selling Rashford is the only way for Amorim to get money asap.

Real Madrid has been received the offers from several big clubs for Arda Guller including Leverkusen that apparently Leverkusen is really serious want to bought Arda Guller from Real Madrid this summer even they are willing to pay with expensive price for transfer fees as long as Real Madrid want to release this player but Real Madrid has give their statements regarding these rumours that Real Madrid said Arga Guller is important asset for them so they don't have any plan to sell him in the near future moreover Arda Guller also looks happy to playing with Real Madrid and he don't want to leaving this team
Real Madrid seems to be assembling young players that will take over from the aging stars. That was why they focused on getting players who were below twenty. I am not sure that the Los Blancos will be willing to sell the Turkish international outrightly. A loan might be a good option considering that the young player is clamoring for more playing time.

The problem is not to release players but to get the required replacement. Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana shouldn't be on the list of players that will be offloaded. The English player will do well under the right coach and support. Onana has the highest goalkeeper clean sheets in the EPL, so they might not find a quality replacement in the market. The Red Devils will also need to consider the financial fair play.

If I were Arnold, I wouldn't go to Madrid and keep an extended contract with Liverpool, because this season is good for him, just look at how Liverpool is in 2 of the top standings League (Premier and Champions League), and this is a special moment is rarely happen during his career. He's been with Liverpool for 20 years, And now, there's a chance for him to get those double titles. he must be at the peak of his career on Liverpool, don't be easily influenced by big club like Madrid, because who know when he move there, there will be a substitute for him who is much younger and he'll be a player on the bench like usual.

So when he keeps stays in Liverpool, he will be a legend form fanatic fans, forever.
