Strangely James Bilal Caan claims that he was the founder of bitcoin.. But lost his hard drive.. Is this possible??

What you guys think about James? Why he use this type of statement.. Specially his explanation about his hard drive?
I can say I am the founder of bitcoin. Does this makes any sense? Anyone can make a statement that he or she is satoshi and the creator of bitcoin but you know what a really satoshi would do he would make a comeback in his own style by sending a signed PGP message from hit bitcoin address to prove that he is satoshi otherwise we can't believe anyone at all.
Honestly speaking, everyone can claim that they are the founder of bitcoin, do not be fooled by their statement where its obvious that they are lying. Public statements such as is just their way to make themselves more popular, dont easily belive to anyone claiming to be the founder. You must have a proof before you believe them. Since the creation of bitcoin, no information was leacked saying that they know the real founder, or they have known the founder.

The  one evidence that  can  change  the whole  issues for him login in into  satoshi BTT account  to  make a post for that  one we can  believe  him.
Why would anyone want the real Satoshi to log into his account here to prove that he is the real owner, Theymos has control over the account and if he logs in and tells that will you believe that the real Satoshi is communicating  Tongue Roll Eyes.
The forum has undergone many hacks in the past and i am sure the admin has locked his account to prevent any abuse. But for anyone to prove someone is Satoshi all they need to do is to just sign a message from the initial wallet address.

James  Story  is  a story of kiddie  script, I wonder  why everybody  is  claiming to  be a real  Satoshi Nakamoto. If James is real  satoshi why would he  change  his  names but he must  come out with  evidence.  The  one evidence that  can  change  the whole  issues for him login in into  satoshi BTT account  to  make a post for that  one we can  believe  him.

What you guys think about James? Why he use this type of statement.. Specially his explanation about his hard drive?

Let say everything he says is true, in his own mind at least. The problems are these:

1) If he really did lose the HD with the development coins on them, feeling stupid, he would not tell anyone ever. He would have

simply said they were 'development coins' which they kinda were and say he 'burned' the keys. No one would admit being that

stupid, even if you were that stupid, especially with the ego of someone to think he/she could make a cryptocurrency to rule the world.

This would stay a secret till his/her grave! I mean really, why tell anyone something like this on development coins? At worst, you could

say you never bothered to keep keys because you were testing the concept and development of BTC not in its final form.

2) So say above happened, Satoshi is feeling low and a bit dumb. So what to do? It is obvious, fire up the laptop and makes some

more Bitcoin and this time secure the keys. So IF this guy was Satoshi and IF the above (1) happened, he/she would have at least

mined some 'early BTC addresses' and accumulated some 'decent' coin and say, I realize I have no real proof that I am Satoshi, but see

I was at 'least' a very, very, very early Bitcoin Adopter. Sh*t he said he lost faith and did not even do that.

3) experts have stated since he has pop'd on the scene that the picture is a computer composite.

There are about 9 more things that don't jive with this and his P.R. plug for $$$ on the site.

It is like everything else, people take shortcuts, no 'real' true evil scammers anymore. It is like they never saw an 'evil genius' cartoon!

At least be up to the level of my expectations of such when I was 5 years old. Alas, no skills!

Brad

You make some very good points. no. 2 especially. Whole thing could be a script for a movie but reading everything, it looks like they are shilling tabula rasa. Then again he could be satoshi. When you live in certain parts of the world, you know how his story is possible.

Another new name pop up again claiming that they were the real Satoshi... interesting, but why do these people have to do it?
The answer may lie upon on the genesis address of real Satoshi, once that address funds been move or been signed message it is final that he is the real Satoshi.

True, everyone can say they're Satoshi Nakamoto and lost their hard drive that consists a lot of bitcoins. Even the personnel of this forum doesn't recognize him as Satoshi.
People are just making names on the crypto community to start their own platforms, I really doubt that.

Satoshi can reveal himself through this platform.

Not really. His forum account was disabled so he no longer has access. To reveal himself he would have to contact theymos and prove to him that he's the real owner. I just don't see him doing that. Ever.

If he ever decides to reveal his identity he will do it through his coins. moving genesis block bitcoins or signing a message would be the best proof. I wouldn't do it if I were him. He doesn't need this fame and I'm sure he was mining in secret and has enough money.

First, I will start off by acknowledging it was a fun read. Just one important piece to the puzzle here. Anyone familiar with my websites/projects 10 years ago I am very simple. I would never toss up anything short of the Mona Lisa. Additionally, I want everyone to please stay calm my 980,000BTC are tucked away securely in between 19,600 addresses which all have their own wallet.dat file located on my google drive. (I would never use the same wallet.dat hence I personally suggested to never delete a wallet.) Oops, I am currently locked out of my gmail account for 7 days because I upgraded my iPhone last week. This is why if you goto the BTC lending area you will see my post asking for a $40 dollar loan. Good news though I keep the private key for the genesis block I mined almost 10 years ago stored in my leather wallet. I can sign a message from it if you'd like me too.
Now hypothetically if this Pakistani individual was me. I would use spell check to ensure my website had no visible errors.  They don't know the all the facts!

Did he claim I did not do much coding?

Code:

Sorry to arrive abruptly on 08/31/2019 after about 3,052 days of absence. In addition, I have no plans of a new coin seems counter intuitive to my vision.

Now in all honesty who feels like this is Craig Wrights ploy to take the heat off him? Also, I believe if the real satoshi did reveal himself and truly lost all his bitcoin and some way some how we all confirmed that individual was the real satoshi. I have no doubt in my mind that 1000's of people would send 1000s of bitcoins to satoshi.

P.S. I am not satoshi. So I am allowed to make grammatical errors.

Thanks for the read BCT!

I think you have used the wrong word not the founder but creator, I never had the slightest idea that he is from Asia, but the hard drive issue is unacceptable, I could accept that Satoshi could be dead, but losing his private keys from his hard drive is just too much.

I hope if he is the real Satoshi he'll forgive me but I want to say that he is an idiot, this is such a newbie mistake, when he is creating Bitcoin's code, why did he not create a code or a way that you can retrieve your private keys, he knew all along that losing your private keys means losing all the coins, it should be imprinted in his mind when he made that huge blunder.

His statement might be trust if the million bitcoins from the satoshi's wallet never moved until the bitcoin's existence but still there are other reasons for not using that bitcoin.

We knew that satoshi is really an intellectual person for creating the blockchain and bitcoin but did you ever think that he/she will lost his/her own creation? I know it's a dumb thing if you lost something valuable and definitely he's not the real satoshi.

If you wanted to reveal yourself, you should have the proof to make people believe you.

Another pretender with nothing to do with the claiming of bitcoin. People keeps pretending things that they thought can benefit them. I would also wanted to read the article but sadly, there isnt any links available. If bitcoin is really valueable to him, he shouldnt make his hard drive lost or has any back ups with him.

I expect that too because his story does not really ix up and I think that he is just trying to create a system that would be the biggest scam of the century.

Biggest scam of the century? Please. All of these forkers and scammers are so blatant and such drama addicts that none of them have the sass to pull of the biggest scam of this very new century. Trust me. Nobody outside of crypto even knows about them, never heard their name. I even only see their name because the news and threads keep pushing them to me.

What I learned in crypto is that you can't prove ownership if you don't have proof.
just like us, no one can prove that we own a certain wallet address if we don't have a private key on it, or if we can't sign it.

Same thing with this guy, claiming he is satoshi but he can't prove.
The market is better off without knowing the real satoshi actually.

He will eventually end up like Craig Wright who lays claim to bitcoin that never exist. Expect more and more false claimers to the creation of bitcoin. Everyone wants to be in the news, but there are better ways of doing that other than being an imposter.

Like you rightly said, he will soon end up like Craig Wright very soon too.

So, it's just a way for self-promotion and nothing more. I doubt that there will ever be the real creator of bitcoin
