Ah well, misunderstood and misread the previous post. He meant BCC... Everything is a bit confusing. Now we have another wallet to think about. I hope the split won't happen at all, I'm just getting used to BTC..

Yes, that is correct. We shall use BTC like we always have. BCC will be for exchange or withdrawal only.

You will only have 1 balance - BTC. BCC will only be available for internal exchange to BTC or for withdrawal to your BCC wallet. You will not be able to play with BCC or earn interest on it.

To claim BCC for your other coins stored locally, you need to download a BCC wallet from https://www.bitcoincash.org/ and import your private keys/seeds to that wallet.

You can deposit your coins to FreeBitco.in before the fork, wait till withdrawals are re-enabled and then withdraw your coins back to your wallet. You will get BCC based on whatever balance you have on 23:00 UTC on 31st of July.

Yes, I think you need it or at least you have an address on that blockchain.
Personally I would just wait for an exchanger that accept this Bitcoin cash and transfer it from freebitco.in to that exchanger.
Since I have no intention of keeping both, I will just use the one with majority user support.
Either one that would prevail, I will just move (exhange) my coin from one to the other.

You are absolutely right. i just need to get off that game and keep claiming. Have enought RP to claim for a month. Are you using freebitco for the interest btw ? The benefit is very small without atleast 1 btc in wallet.

I'm using the faucet every hour and keeping some hundreds of thousands of satoshis to generate daily interest. Not so high income, but it's good to diversify the investments with the additional reason FreeBitco.in is a reputable site on Bitcoin world.

I believe the Bitcoin price will increase a lot yet on next few years, so even the little satoshis it generates will worth a lot when this time comes.

I did once upon a time and I lost everything I won plus my balance (around 20K satoshis). I've turned it off since and converted all my lottery tickets to RPs.
