I'm interested in the odds of winning the top prize. On the face of it, it would seem the odds of rolling a 10,000 would be 1 in 10,000; however due to the way the hash is converted into a five digit number, I suspect this may not actually be the case. But I am not proficient in the math to be able to understand how the hash is converted anyway, so I cannot figure it out myself. (Side note, with the number of rolls this site gets per day, if 1 in 10,000 of them were winning $200, I don't see how the site could generate enough money from ads to stay in business.)

So basically, I'm looking for the odds of rolling in each tier when taking into account the conversion from the hash to a 5 digit number.

0001 - 9885, implied odds: 98.85%; actual odds: ?
9886 - 9985, implied odds: 1.00%; actual odds: ?
9986 - 9993, implied odds: 0.08%; actual odds: ?
9994 - 9997, implied odds: 0.04%; actual odds: ?
9998 - 9999, implied odds: 0.02%; actual odds: ?
10000, implied odds: 0.01%; actual odds: ?

Are the implied odds and the actual odds the same?

How are rolls calculated?

Two strings are created :
STRING1 = "[NONCE]:[SERVER SEED]:[NONCE]"
STRING2 = "[NONCE]:[CLIENT SEED]:[NONCE]"
For your last roll :
STRING1 = "5250:1464797785-lIL61ZFZyuaDg8Bb1dxq42CbphyIyos2YUL9itCr3WKIdps1P7ns71eWWcuMjJDa-96.95.116.29:5250"
STRING2 = "5250:3EkoE4cLHBBrGCnx:5250"
Then HMAC-SHA512 is used to hash STRING1 with STRING2 as the secret key, giving us a 128 character hex string.
The first 8 characters of the hex string are taken and converted to a decimal.
This decimal is then divided by 429496.7295 and rounded off to the nearest whole number.
This whole number is used as your roll, with the maximum possible value being 10,000.

Emphasis added.

I think that converting the string to a decimal, dividing the string by 429496.7295, and rounding to the nearest whole number probably makes the odds that the result is 10,000 far less than 1 in 10,000.

Does anyone know?

It has been calculated earlier in this thread that the possibility to win biggest price is 1 in 20000
Here is that post quoted for you.

Can you calculate how much he get from publicity per roll compared to how much he gives away?
Too many unknowns, do you want to start a similar faucet? Smiley I can tell you probabilities of payouts, and therefore average payout from one roll (without referrals):

[0 - 9885]: ~ 1/20000 + 9885/10000 = 0.98855
[9886 - 9985] ~ (9985-9886+1)/10000 = 0.01 (~ once per 100 rolls)
[9986 - 9993] ~ (9993-9986+1)/10000 = 0.0008 (~ once per 1250 rolls)
[9994 - 9997] ~ (9997-9994+1)/10000 = 0.0004 (~ once per 2500 rolls)
[9998 - 9999] ~ (9999-9998+1)/10000 = 0.0002 (~ once per 5000 rolls)
[10000] ~ 1/20000 = 0.00005 (~ once per 20 000 rolls)

sanity check: 0.98855+0.01+0.0008+0.0004+0.0002+0.00005 = 1

average payout (using values right now): (0.98855*0.00000438)+(0.01*0.00004376)+(0.0008*0.00043764)+(0.0004*0.00437637)+(0.0002*0.04376368)+(0.00005*0.43763676) =  0.00003750 BTC

Whoa, that's much bigger than I thought, but math checks out, it seems.

Any proof of lottery pls..

Huh, what kind of proof of lottery are you asking for? This is probably the longest operating Bitcoin faucet that is still paying, and you're implying that the lottery is staged or something? Just go back through the 73 pages of posts, and somewhere, you'll find a post about people hitting the lottery on the site.

I've claimed my bonus a few times yesterday, but I can't find how many times a day you can claim? It's also not in the FAQ section?
As the title says, you can claim every hour.

You sir, you are a very dumb person
No need to be rude it was a mistake on my part.
lol, I hope he was just joking.
But if you didn't, it is the same amount, zeros at the end after decimal doesn't make any difference.
1.10 and 1.1 and 1.10000000000000 are all exactly the same.
Thank you for answering and being nice about it.  Tongue

I didn't get paid the amount I was supposed to. There's a zero missing at the end. Is this a bug or a mistake on the admins part? Either way I would appreciate it if you could clear this up.

Perhaps there was a fact of hacking?
Not really difficult to "hack" you, because you are using the same login and password([email protected]; BOG23R10A1979BOG) for mail.ru, stoloto.ru, coinbase.com(found $3 there Cheesy ), poloniex.com and some others Wink Currently, anyone can change your freebitco.in password knowing your mail.ru login Wink

Jesus, he really give us his email and password? And he is using same email and password for every site he log in?  It's not wonder he lost money, maybe he gave email and pass before on some other site, and someone else just pick it up and log in in freebitcoin and who knows elsewhere

Blocking by ip does not make effective. The portal freebitco.in losing users because of this. All ip for a long time occupied with the same ip address can have many users. It is strange that it is still not clear. Maybe freebitco.in should consider registering for another ID. Joseph, I hope you get justice. I do not understand how they could lose your account? It really sounds like a hoax or incompetence of specialists freebitco.in

I don't think that the ban is the problem here.
It is about that 34btc he lost playing the multiply game.

On the portal must be stored in the history of the game. What is the evidence that the money is lost? Only words of encouragement? They can provide a screenshot of the history of the game?

After going through and translating the post to the best of my ability, this guy actually sounds like a legitimately concerned user that what he claims could have happened. In order to spoof or forge all of the documentation that he has provided would be very unlikely. But the whole having multiple accounts logged from the same IP thing is peculiar. Possibly VPN or proxy traffic?

If this is some kind of big elaborate scam, then it's pretty well master-crafted. But I dunno, for some reason, I'm starting to feel pity on this Joseph Shtern dude with the desperation that's coming through his posts. He private messaged me after his alleged brother got his coins back (the 77BTC incident from several pages ago), and he explained the situation then. His story now publicly is the same as it was in my private messages, and I have no problem forwarding that to you, if you need, wetsuit.

Other than that, I think his allegations deserve some looking into and researching. Only you know if there are any holes in his story, but yeah; it at least deserves some diligence in fact-checking what he is alleging.

My 2 bits.

I did look into his account the first time he posted here and this is what the database shows:

Total deposits: 48.3397
Total withdrawals: 14.0730
Multiply wins/losses: -34.2729
Free play winnings: 0.0082

The numbers all seem to add up fine from my end. Disregarding the fact that there were 107 accounts from the same IP address (which is why his account was blocked), there does not seem to be any problem here.

I am more than happy to make things right if there is legitimately an issue but we do tend to get emails from people who have lost coins in the multiply game making elaborate stories to get it back. Unfortunately if someone loses, I cannot refund them because if someone wins equally as big (which many do), we do have to pay them and we cannot ask them to give us back their winnings.
On my screenshot April 16 seen a positive balance. link here: https://yadi.sk/i/27tI6OMrs5G3V I know that did not make big bets. It's true!! The account was zeroed due to violation of conditions of use of the site (107 accounts). BTC was 33.34 with my memory to balance everything well. At that moment I made a bet 0.00000005 BTC. The rate has not been accepted. My balance was zeroed. It's a message, (quote) that the funds in your account have been revoked, the money was stolen. Where is the story of rates? The fact that you have shown this is possible, and there are charges for a violation. Indeed, a total of 34.2729 is obtained BTC. I said earlier that it was lost about -0.9 BTC. If you take away from the amount of 34.2729 - 0.94 = 33.34btc. Here everything converges !!! Provide screenshots please rates (16, 17, 18, 19 April 2016). I am sure that in history they had to stay !!! At the moment, it looks like this. My account was closed, check their rates can not. You should be in the history of the last write-off from the account balance and the time when it happened !!! Please carry out the investigation.

Nothing to lose. I was robbed. Password exhibited at the show, because I have one account. It coincides with the mail. In this, I screwed up. At the post office changed the password. I do not advise her to break

I found a lot of reviews and approvals on the Internet where the blocked accounts with great balance. freebitco.in this HYIP. Withdraw from their accounts the money until it is too late. There is no guarantee that you too will not block no. They attract people to the game, then block the accounts under various pretexts, accuse you of violating their rules !!! Access is not, they say, that you are lost. Very competent fraudulent scheme. I think that on this website must be a criminal investigation !!! Now I'll take care of this site in a dense. I have enough evidence. I shot the video from the screen and give it to the full !!!
I have a video size to 1,200 hours of recording from the screen! At the time when I played. This is not blackmail. Do not think anything bad. I just want justice!
