listen I need your help. $500 was stolen from me and the monthly wagering contest 2 months ago. It was a complete disaster. Many people were robbed with their money as soon as the contest concluded. Here's my user number. I want the $500. Please make this right 53314860

That means that someone is in theory there at least doing something at freebitco.in whether or not it's anything big or small will just say that somebody's there doing something. And if that is the case, the least they could do is acknowledge that some BS happen with the wagering contest about a month ago and the top 10 wagers all had their money stolen. Oh and by the way we're looking for new staff.

However, no mention of any kind of problems going on, just to mention that they're looking to staff free bitco.in.

That's pretty pathetic. At least acknowledge that there's some s*** going on. That's not right and then ask for staffing.

Why do we keep sitting here speculating whether or not free? Big Cody and is still a legitimate place and to be trusted. Hell no they're not to be trusted. Absolutely not. No question. They are not to be trusted. Just end the conversation. There doesn't need to go on anymore. They are not to be trusted until we get a resolution to the monthly wagering contest that was corrupted.

The insight payment has been hanging for an 5 hour! Worrying again...

So it looks like there's been a lot of happenings since I've last checked the forum. Is there someone that's going to give me the $500 that is owed to me from the wagering contest? Did we get that figured out or what's going on? And obviously I hope everybody gets their due funds as well

That freebitcoin PR's post can be called reassuring as it was actually the first reaction from the freebitcoin team in the last couple of months. That's something rather than complete ignoring of the community.


Has there already been an official announcement from freebitcoin that he is no longer part of their team? In fact, he has become less active in this thread since last November, although he posted a response as a freebitcoin representative in early April.

The pity of it is that with the customer base they have on this forum, the help you just provided would have to be provided by someone in-house like TheQuin as for a long time it happened.

There were some issues with authorization emails, but I received the email for resetting password yesterday and I could do that successfully.
I also enabled 2FA and changed my withdrawal address and received the emails for them too.

I just tried to reset my password again and I received the authorization email in a few seconds.

I keep trying to reset my password, but I don't get any emails or promos at all. Still having trouble resetting your password? Or is there anyone who has already managed to reset the password? Before that, the mails came to me, but with a delay. Now there is no email for about a week.

Yes, that's why everyone only trusts Thequin so far because previously he was very active on this forum to answer every problem and case from users of this site. I had suspected this for a long time when I saw Thequin was active but didn't reply to everyone's complaints in this thread. is it possible that he didn't see it while all this time he has been quite active in solving the problems of all users of this site through this thread, I'm already thinking maybe there is an internal problem that we don't know about but I don't want to guess too far.

At least we know that for now Thequin is no longer really part of this team and is waiting for freebitcoin to find a new team that can take care of every problem of active users in this forum, because of course the reputation of this site is also at stake if there are no unsolved cases and piling up in this thread, of course it will bring a bad image to this site in the future, I know freebitcoin is a big site and has been active for a long time so that all bitcoin users can get their free bitcoins through this site, it would be a shame if they stopped here. Hopefully they will stay alive for all future bitcoin communities and also solve all existing problems.

The new "announcement" is quite good actually, I feel like it means something. It means that we are not going to hear from thequin again, or at least we should not expect to hear from him at all, seems like he is gone. But that is not a terrible thing for the website, sure we liked him as a person, but just because he won't be around doesn't mean that we are not going to have any contact with the website.

It means that we are going to see from the PR account here, which is quite good and we should probably try to see that as a good thing without a doubt. I know that it is going to take a while, and I know that it is going to be something that will not be all too bad. We should probably consider how this means that the website will continue as usual.

Not really seriously. He just addressed the pending withdrawal issue for now by fixing the email backlogs but still didn’t answer the security issue that was brought up first before the withdrawal issue. He doesn’t make any statement about it and now he is back from being a promotional bot that doesn’t about other user complaints.

It’s scary that he acknowledges the issue yet he failed to deliver the message to any of thequin or wetsuit about the importance of their appearance here to reassure users. It’s very easy to become online and release official statements like they are doing before yet didn’t done even after 5 days since he posted that “reassuring” message.

I could be wrong but I believe it is because the timer refreshes every 25 hours instead of 24. If we look at the time the current timer ends it will be 8 am UTC, which is a weird time. It doesn’t make sense that it would be fixed at this time.

Also, if you’re a gambler you receive a promotional email telling you how close you are to winning the daily jackpot. This email arrives each day but with around a +1 hour difference from the previous day.

Because of this extra hour, every few weeks we will go a full day on the calendar without a jackpot winner.

Honestly, that freebitcoin PR's post from May 30 is encouraging and gives hope that the freebitcoin team will still be able to fix all their flaws. But it's still unclear why it was necessary to bring the situation to this point. I think it was a bit shortsighted of the freebitcoin team to ignore the community's requests because they've just ruined their 10-year reputation by doing so.

I think that Freebitco made many of us worried. There were so many withdrawal requests recently that I believe, if Freebitco was about to scam, they would do it but instead they processed almost every withdrawal request and this makes me believe that they stand strong but at the same time it's clear that Freebitco has an issue inside, they lack customer support, they much likely lack web developers and TheQuin has to become active here again. Basically, they need to hire more people and here we go. It will be a bonus if they upgrade their website.

PR said that they are hiring a team. They probably need some time. PR did a great job that they informed the team and things got better but it makes me sad that TheQuin doesn't appear. We are all waiting for answers from him.

I don't know how much funds you had in your account, but the other user has said that his account balance (withdrawal amount) was 0.0038+ BTC. There is no need to complete the captcha if your Freebitco account balance stays above $100 in BTC. TheQuin has said about it a few many times in the past.


You may also play without captcha if your account balance remains below $100 in BTC. In that case, it depends on "free winnings to wagered ratio" which has been described by TheQuin here. The reduction of base reward is also related to the 'free winnings to wagered ratio'. You can verify it through this post of TheQuin. The user 'attempt_n_t' may not face the IP block error during faucet claim if he keeps his account balance above $100 in BTC.

Even myself cant believe that Freebitco.in did really end up on this situation on which considering that this is one of the oldest sites that we do have. I do remember this one
is known to be that having that good faucet amount in the past with that hi-lo game plus huge rewards but now look at on where we at?

As the creator of the flag I tell you that when I created it what I wanted was to warn visitors and people who do not have so much knowledge, as the newbies, of the danger that it could pose, and as the official thread is this and the creator is wetsuit, I created the flag against him, leaving the other two representatives negative feedback as well.
