PSG is already going to next stage, this game never mattered, league and the further stages of UCL matters. I don't think that PSG have much problem with their defense in general. They must have just not cared about the Troyes match as much as tougher ones back then. Troyes benefited from the openings in their defense really great but even in that condition PSG managed to defeat them by 4-3. This is a proof that they can win in every condition against their opponents in the Ligue 1.

I don't think that we will watch the same poor defending against Juventus. It is an important match for PSG to keep their lead. Winning this match will be enough for them most probably. Maybe the match is in Turin but PSG are still one step ahead. I just expect to see them performing much more decently to be able to take the win. But it is really not easy to bet on their win on one hand. Because it is an important match for Juventus at the same time.

I am not really against the idea, PSG is great but not that many other great teams in the ligue 1 left as well so he is sort of right. In the international games we see that ligue 1 teams don't go that further anymore, only PSG plays well and all other teams lose to everyone else.

seeing your post, I tried to find news information related to it. and yes, his words, can carry a satirical meaning for Ligue 1. however, can also be interpreted negatively. he said something contradictory with things that smelled of controversy.

In fact, he tends to glorify himself with the statement, the presence of the world's top players does not control the quality of Ligue 1. The reason, is because I no longer play there.

IMO, I'm not convinced by his statement. however, more than just to get attention. despite all that, he is one of the star players that I idolize wherever he plays. to this day, he is still playing in the AC Milan uniform at the age of 40+.

I really appreciate the performance of Lens so far, with the composition of players who are cheap compared to PSG, Monaco and marseille but they can be in second place in the Ligue 1 standings. PSG are still unbeaten while Lens lost 1 time, PSG must be careful in every match they face in the future, if they draw 3 times or lose 1 time only, then Lens will definitely shift their position.

Lens are just desperately trying to stay right behind PSG now. The point gap is 5 for now but I think that PSG would increase the gap not much time later. They are already very dominant in this season and there is no match for them among the rest of the teams.

We would just expect the other big teams (considering the squad qualities) to perform strongly and close their gap up with PSG. But it is too difficult for this season also. Marseille seemed really promising at first but now they are just a mess with a poor level of performance for some weeks. Losing 11 points in their last 4 league games has caused the gap with PSG to get enormous now. The trio of Lorient, Rennes and Lens ahead wouldn't be much capable of keeping up with PSG I'm afraid. I don't think that any of them are very determined to win the league title either.

Whoever I ended up seeing against PSG in the league table ends up eventually losing to some easy team. I mean it’s quite definitely not Lorients fault to lose, they do not look like a team that would lose towards teams like Nice for sure but that doesn't change the fact that sometimes teams lose to lower level teams.

PSG is not an exception; they do lose when you least expect them to lose but they still end up with more wins than other teams when the season ends and they are more sustainable in that regard. Which is why I am guessing that it’s not going to be easy for anyone to see other teams get close to PSG by the end, they will just grow the lead bigger.

Lille had a lot of chances but none of them were scored, while Lyon had few chances and luckly in the 74th minute, Lacazette managed to score the 1st goal for Lyon. in the standings, despite losing, lille is still 2 points ahead of lyon, the competition in the middle board is quite tight !
