Lens team showed us very well yesterday that furball is a team game. The PSG team may be a group of stars, but yesterday they lost 3-1 to Lens on the road. Messi did not play because he was tired. @Z-tight, I have to say that I have been in the same position as you as I have just recently discovered how good Lens have been this season apart from PSG. This is true that we only talk about how good PSG is because PSG is meant to be good with the great individual players they have but I have to really appreciate how good Lens have been so far this season. They have done a great job beating PSG by scoring three goals and I hope that they will give a tough fight to PSG for the league title.
Lens has been able to make it difficult for PSG just because Neymar and Messi didn't play against Lens. So that's actually not a threat to PSG, even though it's very serious because PSG had to lose by that much score. But PSG still has a bigger chance in the next game although Lens will try to make it difficult for PSG to win when they meet again this season, although later Neymar and Messi will play in the squad as usual. If i am to be honest here i had not noticed how good Lens have been this season until they beat psg yesterday, all the talk in the Ligue 1 discussion has all been about psg, but Lens have been just as good as them, the both teams have lost only one game each and Lens are only 4 points behind, for now they are in the title race, maybe later on they will be out of it, but for now they are the closest to psg and they are competing with them for the title, even beat them yesterday. It is hard to imagine, but i wish for Lens to win the title, i am tired of psg winning it every season.

Not only that, I think Donaruma didn't perform well either. Four times the ball into the net he could only one miss. Then in the position of defender Ramos, who is believed to also perform below the best of his ability, he very rarely participates in building attacks. PSG's main player Fabian Ruiz didn't give a good pass either. He looked confused, although PSG had the ball, but they failed to dismantle the good performance of goalkeeper Lens.

This suggests that Lens was better on defense that day, PSG always creates many dangerous moments, this is their style of play, but since their attack was not as effective as it often happens, it means that the team clearly lacked Messi and Neymar in this game. These are two players of the main squad in the attack line, their absence should have affected the result of the match, and this is exactly what happened. The defeat is not critical and PSG will still not miss the lead.

Marseille has starting the league with big win from Toulouse several days ago and apparently this result was successfully to boosted their mentally and today Marseille will attempts to gets 4 winning streak from Montpellier and head to head statistics showed Marseille was unbeatable in the last 5 matches from Toulouse i think this is indicated they probably can able to win the match and for away matches Marseille records was more good than their home matches that from 7 matches total Marseille only lose once and it from PSG and today this match will played at Montpellier home ground and i think Marseille can bringing 3 points from it and the odds for Marseille is @1.74

This defeat again proves a fact that Mbappe relies on his team-mates to play well. He is mostly nothing if can not get support from Messi and Neymar and of course other players. His style is simple, totally relies on his speed and opponent defenders can easily to catch him if he is alone.
You got quite a point on that, bruv. But I doubt Mbappe will learn from such performance as he sees himself higher than both Messi and Neymar combined. Sometimes these big clubs need to be taught a lesson by small clubs and although they sit comfortably at the top spot, a repeat of this may prove deadly as Lens are looking longingly at the 1st position with 4 points the only difference between them.

It was a big win for lens, I'm sure PSG expect the match to be like this. The game was so interesting , it will be good if their are teams to challenge PSG , to make the league very competitive. This victory of lens will encourage them to strive for more win.

Overall, Montpellier still seems to have recover after a long match since the start of the season, they are still in the same standings as last season. Based on statistics the two teams Marseille are far more convincing to come out winner in the 17th match of the French league today. when facing Lens, PSG looked like a small team and I saw the confidence of the Lens players was so great that they were able to win 3-1 from PSG. PSG are still safe at the top of the standings even though they dropped points last night against Lens and of course that doesn't make the PSG team discouraged because they didn't play with a full squad team, so yesterday's defeat made PSG have to improve so they don't lose points in the next game, Lens can just overtook PSG at the top of the standings because they are only 4 points apart
