The local league has never been a problem for the PSG team because they have been dominating other teams for a very long time even last season when they had a lot of poor performances they still managed to finish as the best in the league as they won the league trophy once again. Now that Mbappe has left the team, I think they will still maintain consistency in winning the local league win e they still have a better squad when compared to other club in the league but they still need to show good performance because other team will try as much as possible to compete with them this season but their performance will see them dominating the league yet again even when they have no key player in the team yet.
Their real job is in the Champions League, while in the domestic league they still have enough strength to bring them to dominate the league. Every season their target is to win the Champions League, but they have not been able to achieve it until now. Their ambition seems to be blocked by themselves or blocked by their way of making the team even more solid. They think they will be able to get something instantly when they gather many star players in the squad, but that way, apart from not being able to bring them achievements, also creates new problems in their squad. Internal problems have emerged, one of which is conflict between players and even between players and coaches.

In the first week of Ligue 1 PSG won big win and for the second week they will meet Montpellier and play at home, this is good opportunity for PSG to maintain their victory at the beginning of the season and get as many points as possible.
Montpellier is not strong team and they are certainly an easy opponent for PSG to beat, PSG superiority is really visible and they are also the favorites for this match.
I took several options to choose PSG, I have confidence that PSG will be able to take advantage of all their advantages since the first half started.

The right choice and maybe even if there is a mistake, it is very unlikely. Actually, PSG has no doubts about winning easily, especially playing at home will guarantee the result. However, I want to see them play more aggressively from the start of the match and not be late in realizing the need for goals like what happened last week against Le Havre.

With the addition of full points, PSG will certainly be able to shift Marseille's top position, but with the note that they must win big against Montpellier if they want that to happen. The goal difference is the difference for PSG to be able to shift Marsille and at least they must win by 3 goals more. So it seems that later I will be interested in the over 3.25 goal result with odds @1.70 because if I take a normal time bet, the odds are only @1.33 and that is very small.
In my opinion, the bet used by #HiroseUK is indeed safer but a little risky on the first goal option.
Actually, taking a bet like that with odds of only 1.6 does not match the risk taken because if a surprise occurs when PSG can score big in the second half and Montpellier scores early, the bet will definitely fail.

I agree more with you #Rendravolt choosing to bet on over 3.25 is more convincing because PSG can definitely score big at home because PSG's performance without Mbappe is still the same and with odds of 1.70 it is equivalent to the risk you take.
Maybe I will also bet on PSG's victory -1.5 with odds 1.79.

Indeed another easy opponent for PSG, last week win was just easy and I don't think they can score more goals in this game like they did last week. Montpellier might use PSG previous opponents to learn a lesson to face the champions and it would be bad if PSG don't start the winning from the first half of the game. Last week the striker of PSG got knocked out and Luis Enrique has confirmed that Goncalo Ramos could miss weeks after the striker suffered an injury in their opening game against La Havre, could it affect the or can Randal Kolo Muani help out his team since Ramos is out injured? Is a matter of time to find out if the attacking position will still be effective.

It is not in vain that Marseille spent a fairly large amount of money for a middle club like them in this transfer market.
It is recorded that they spent Expenditure funds of: €84.50m
While their own income so far from selling players is: €76.00m
Marseille has made many changes to its squad this season including making de zerbi as coach, apart from that, Marseille ambition to be able to compete with PSG requires them to spend a lot of money to recruit new players, after losing Aubameyang and several of its main players last season, Marseille continues to be active in the transfers market in fact they are continuing to try to bring in several other players at the moment,
Indeed, they don't stop there.
Even at this time, Marseille are competing with Leipzig and Leverkusen to get Arthur Vermeeren, the 19-year-old Central Midfield from Atletico Madrid for loan.

Source: RB Leipzig, Olympique Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen are keen on signing Arthur Vermeeren on initial loan deal.

He is a young player, even his reputation and contribution are very different from other Atletico Madrid midfielders. However, currently, his market value is €25.00m.

Psg is still very strong in Ligue 1 because in their first match of the season they visited the Oceane stadium but they still managed to get 3 points where the match ended with a score of 1-4. With the depth of the squad filled with quality players, of course we can judge that Luis Enrique's squad will again succeed in achieving maximum results in every match because their game is still quite impressive even though they no longer have Mbappe in their team.
The Ligue1 competition will still be dominated by PSG even without players like Mbappe because in Ligue1 there is no heavier pressure from rival teams so that PSG is still the leading team this season. And from one example of a match that has been played by PSG, it is also clear that PSG still has more strength in Ligue1, but I don't know how strong PSG is when playing in the UCL this season because the competition really relies on player cooperation besides having to be filled with quality players in a team.
I have no doubt that, even though they no longer have Mbappe, the composition of the players they have is still the best in Ligue 1, it depends on how the coach can utilize what he has in the squad. The results of this match prove that they will still be very difficult to stop in Ligue 1. This is the first season where they no longer have a star player like Mbappe, but the overall quality of the team is still good. Luis Enrique is an experienced coach, so I don't think it will be difficult for him to make Paris Saint Germain dominate. But this is if we talk about them in Ligue 1, it will be a different story when we talk about them in the Champions League, but let's see what they can do in the Champions League later.
Even without Mbappé, they can win their local league title with the players they have in their club now. There is no strong team in the local league that can challenge PSG and beat PSG to win the title. PSG has been single-handedly dominating Ligue 1 for several seasons.

The local league has never been a problem for the PSG team because they have been dominating other teams for a very long time even last season when they had a lot of poor performances they still managed to finish as the best in the league as they won the league trophy once again. Seeing your multiple picks and having PSG in them all shows how much confidence you are exercising on them and I wouldn't be so surprised if they make it through and gets to make you win this bet, PSG is still a solid team, I don't know why some people fail to recognize this and attached so much of everything that concerns PSG to the exit of mbappe, maybe this is one of those times they could prove they are much better than people have seen them because of mbappe, looking at the depth of the squad, it still appears really solid so it's possible they have still got all the chances to make the team proud but I will advise they look out for Marielle, that squad is going to pose a slight threat.

That was always too obvious, anyone who doubted their dominance doesn't understand how football works. You are not good and dominate 10 out of 12 last titles just based on a single player, you have to be good overall as a team to dominate, that player of course helps, but with one single superstar you do not dominate, hell even Barcelona won a la liga after someone as great as Messi left, imagine that.

So, we should consider the fact that we are talking about PSG as the most dominant team and will never change that at all. This doesn't mean that we are going to end up with bad results, it just means that we are going to end up with PSG dominating again. This is why this league is famously called farmers league, because we do not have anyone else in the entire league that can rival PSG and they are going to keep winning unless another team is taken over by another rich person, because that would be the only way PSG could ever lose this league.

PSG isn't relying on just one player to dominate Ligue 1; they have a solid team structure, smart management, and of course strong financial backing. Their dominance does expose a major gap in the competition in the league itself. There should be more than one team capable of challenging for the title if a competition is to be labeled as competitive. When one team can win all the time, just like PSG do, the league loses its attractiveness for both fans and neutral observers.

This is why Ligue 1 is called a "farmer's league." When one team is too dominant, the glamour of competition wanes, and the hope for real contests wanes too. The only way to change this would be some heavy investment in the other clubs, as we have seen in other leagues in Europe. If not, then PSG are likely to keep on dominating; and that can make the league lose its worldwide appeal when compared with others that are more competitive.

Mason Greenwood is truly a hidden gem and fortunately Marseille managed to get his contract from Manchester United. Through last night's match between Marseille and Brest he performed very well and scored two goals for Marseille's away win. In fact, we know that Marseille made a big shopping spree this summer and the result was that they managed to win with a very convincing score of 1-5 and this was a big win for Ligue 1 so far in the first week.

In fact, if we look at Brest, they are quite a strong team, especially their performance last season was amazing and they even managed to finish in 3rd place in the standings. But it seems that even with such a big achievement, Marseille is not discouraged and immediately shows their prowess under the guidance of new coach Roberto De Zerbi. I really look forward to another win from Marseille and hope to heat up the competition at the top for this season.
Olympique de Marseille football team won the match by 5-1 . In last match,we saw Olympique de Marseille team in good form where they performed very well and did 5 goals in the comparison of 1 goal of Stade Brestois 29 team. Stade Brestois 29 players could not give tough time to Olympique de Marseille players. Greenwood and Henrique did 2,2 goals for his team and we saw them as match winner because their team won due to their great performance. At that level, performance has great value and they played critical role in last match after this match, team is more confident and team will be better in next match that will be happen in August 25 .
It seems that this season PSG will find a tough competitor in Marseille, a 5-1 victory over Brest is a signal that every Ligue 1 contestant should be aware of. De Zerbi appointment has had a major influence on Marseille improved performance, although we know this is only the first week, but the signs of the intended revival are clearly visible. 5 of the 7 shots on target have all become goals, how effective Marseille game is, and it looks very different from the previous season. On the other hand, Brest, who finished third last season, had to admit Marseille greatness even though they acted as hosts.

The main spotlight is certainly on Greenwood, the former Man United player managed to score 2 goals and 2 assists, a perfect debut to erase the controversy in the past. His move which broke the club transfer record seems to be as expected, I think Greenwood will be an important part of Marseille revival this season. Besides that, Marseille this season only focuses on domestic competitions, they are absent from any European competition because last season they finished 8th in the standings. As such, their quest to become a title contender may seem easier, as they are not burdened with a busy fixture schedule. We'll see if the positive trend can continue when they face Reims in their next match.

With the departure of Kylian Mbappe from the Parc des Princes stadium, I thought it would affects Les Parisiens performance but it turns out to be reversed. Luis Enrique taking proper stands with PSG as they're excellently having good records on opening Ligue One matchday. Paris Saint-Germain have no competitor that would stop them this season because they're ready to take on any opposition with good amount of positive energy.
In Ligue 1 this season, PSG can still dominate which can even last throughout this season even though there is no more Kylian Mbappe in their squad, but the problem at this time is not in Ligue 1, but rather in other competitions such as the Champions League where with the new format for this season has forced each team to be able to have better mainstay players in order to win more matches there. PSG has several advantages to achieve another big win, PSG quality is superior to Montpellier, they will also play in their proud stadium and PSG dominance so far in Ligue 1 places them as the favorite team. There are no obstacles for PSG to achieve their second victory this season, Luis Enrique certainly will not underestimate his opponent even though the quality of his team is superior to Montpellier. Conceding a goal in the first match when beating Le Havre became PSG's weak point in the defensive area, Enrique will start to improve the quality of his team slowly to score as many goals as possible and minimize the number of goals conceded.

I think that the new format of the Champions League is just in the hands of strong teams, because if PSG could lose points in one of the matches with a weaker opponent, then the more matches are played, the more chances strong teams will have to show their superiority.

In the match against Le Havre, PSG did not have any big problems, they were ultimately able to show a good game in attack, I see that Enrique was in no hurry to buy another forward, instead he decided to involve in the game those players, that he already has in the team, even gave a chance to younger players, and maybe instead of buying an expensive forward, Enrique will try to find him from those players, that he already has at his disposal.
Actually, in every season, the Champions League is more in the hands of strong teams, so this format change as a whole has no effect, except maybe there will be a slight difference in the standings later. Because now there will only be 8 teams that can directly qualify for the round of 16, while the other 16 teams must compete for tickets in the play-off match to be in the round of 16. So that will be a challenge in itself because they have to compete tightly if they want to qualify directly without having a life and death match.
In Ligue 1 they will still dominate, but it will be a different story when they are in the Champions League. The teams they will face are at the same level as them, or even some teams can be said to be stronger than Paris Saint Germain. That is why they always have difficulty when they are in the Champions League.

It's very obvious that PSG are once again going to dominate the french ligue1 as usual, they kicked off their campaign for the season with an excellent win sending a clear message to all their counterparts in the league. Coach Luis Enrique has numerous high profile of players at his disposal at PSG this season and will look forward to taking advantage of all that to see that his team wins the title and perhaps break the deadlock in the champions League, however the expectations are high in the city of paris and just maybe they could get it right this season, though it's looking like they are already getting over with departure of kylian Mbappé.

Sure, they started Ligue 1 with a victory. And losing Mbappé is a serious loss. Of course, they are still loaded. Still, that attack is different without his speed and finishing.

Enrique's a top-notch manager, which is advantageous. Still, requiring late goals? That raises warning flags. They are still learning how to function without their superstar. Marseille, Rennes, they are rather acute. Sleeping on them is not advised. Ligue 1 is no more only PSG's playground

PSG's true test is High stakes games versus strong rivals. Enrique will be able to see if he can get this team clicking here. Can they change with tightening resources? Can they identify objectives without the magic of Mbappé?

Though it doesn't necessarily bring titles, money speaks. PSG needs to gel even if they have potential

Mbappe was there for a long time, so PSG fans dreamed of the Champions League, but now Mbappe is gone and no other player has been appointed to replace him, so PSG fans may not expect much from the Champions League next season. Most of the players in the team have been sold by PSG, so they should have revamped the team in the previous season, but they could not do so at the end of this season's transfer window.

Dominating Ligue 1 is not a difficult task for PSG. The strongest squad in Ligue 1 is PSG. Also, PSG is the richest club in Ligue 1. PSG's squad this season is a bit weaker compared to previous seasons. However, PSG's squad still has plenty of talented players. More importantly, PSG have an experienced coach. With the help of Luis Enrique, the PSG team is slowly getting stronger.

PSG are expected to battle it out for the title this season with possibly Lille, Marseille and Monaco. So I am looking forward to watching the PSG vs Lille match. If PSG can dominate and win against Lille, then I'd say Ligue 1 PSG will dominate this season. PSG will play against Montpellier in the next match. PSG will easily get 3 points in this match as well.
I think Olympic Marseille will be the team that will challenge PSG for the league 1 title this season. They have a young coach who knows what he is doing. And he has managed to assemble a good squad that's is going to push for the league title. With Mbappe gone PSG does has a little weakness in their squad and that's not a fact that can be hidden. Judging by the performance of Marseille in their first match of the season I think they are the only club that can provide real competition for PSG. PSG main fear factor has left the club and with his absence, PSG won't be much of a threat that they used to be. They got a good scoreline last weekend and so did Marseille. PSG should not think that they will be getting the league title cheaply this season as they usually does in previous seasons. There is a breath of new era in league 1.

There are some forgotten concerns where Lens won after defeating Angers with a narrow score of 0-1 and this made Lens' first away win this season. Even against a weak team like Angers, it still feels difficult for Lens and I hope they don't continue to be in trouble like in this match. Because Lens won with the only goal in the 28th minute but since the remaining minutes were still very long, the most worrying thing was conceding a goal and thwarting their victory and they should have been able to widen the winning margin by scoring another goal.

Judging from their playing style, Lens really needs a lot of improvement. Starting the season against a promoted team, they were only able to score 1 goal. Not many attacks were able to threaten the opponent's goal. There are still many shortcomings that must be evaluated and fixed by w.still, otherwise Lens will have difficulty facing big teams in the future. Last season, Lens finished in 7th place, after previously being able to finish in 2nd place in the final standings. This indicates that Lens' performance has decreased drastically.
Winning away is very difficult for Lens regardless of the opponent is a promoted club we also do not know what the performance of the promoted club is like because at the beginning of this season it is not yet clear whether they are a weak club or not or will even be a club that appears surprising this season so we can not judge the club from 1 match only even though Lens was only able to score 1 goal at least they were able to keep their defense strong enough in the remaining time I saw Anger take many shots and 3 of them were on target but none of them resulted in goals, Lens goalkeeper was quite good in this match he made 3 saves, Lens was able to make it difficult for the home club.
