PSG has only been about one player for a few seasons. Mbappe is their biggest player and they have always performed better when he was around. Honestly, I think they might face problems winning their title again this season. They will have a tough time keeping up with some of the good teams in the Ligue 1. I believe PSG will be struggling to win the league this season and might not even win the league at the end. Enrique is a good coach so he might turn things around.

PSG will struggle to win Ligue 1 title indeed but they remain one of the best teams in this league since their opponents are weak or fluctuating much. It only needs a good team facing them to lose the title like what happened when Lille won it few seasons before and exactly like big Bayern Munich lost Bundesliga title when Bayer Leverkusen popped up and played well.
The first round of Ligue 1 was interesting with large victories by PSG, Marseille and Rennes.

Yes it's true that in the ligue 1 it appears no other team surpasses PSG currently but it's not a room for redundancy els they may loose out two ways, by that I mean the champions league and the ligue 1. I don't want to totally believe that the presence of great stars at PSG at some point was enough to get them the champion's league title and their absence now would mean they may not have a chance at it anymore, just like Leverkusen did last season without any known star, it's possible if PSG continues to putting the much needed work, some day they will get to that point even without necessarily having a cluster of Stars in their squad.

It is natural that PSG is always a strong candidate in Ligue 1, after all they have very healthy financial resources. Although currently PSG does not have a star player name as famous as the MNM trio, PSG still has a depth of players that is much more competitive than its rival teams. Talking about PSG's mega star project in the last few seasons, it is natural that they are favored to win the Champions League. Unfortunately, it turns out that there are many things that need to be corrected so that the team deserves the trophy that the club dreams of. Starting from the coach who handles it, the depth of the team as a whole, and the role of the sports director in choosing to bring in competent players. Unfortunately, in the Luis Enrique era, several of PSG's star players have left and at the point Mbappe went to Real Madrid. In the end, Enrique tried to rebuild the team's strength by bringing in several newcomers in various positions. Starting from defenders, midfielders and strikers. Although it doesn't look ideal, the progress in Enrique's second season seems focused. Regarding their target for the Champions League, I say they haven't reached that stage yet.  but it does not mean that PSG does not have the opportunity to perform optimally in the UCL, it just requires solid team performance and the wind of luck is on their side. but how big the probability they have, I'm not too sure. whether one day they can win the Champions League trophy, yes the possibility will always be there but who knows when it will happen.

after a point I expect PSG to open the gap as usual. Mbappe has left but this team isn't all about one player. You have all seen how they started the season. As long as teamwork is strong there shouldn't be big problems.  Smiley

The teams in Ligue 1 are worse in terms of quality and players. Honestly, I don’t think France’s league is in the top 5 of Europe. And I think we can see the reason very well when they come to play against teams of other leagues in Uefa Competitions. PSG also hasn’t been a top 5 club in Europe for a while. PSG did have the quality players necessary to win the Uefa Champions League but I think they lacked mentality. The mentality is what kept Real Madrid going. Now that Mbappe has joined Real Madrid, hopefully, he gets his hand on Real Madrid.

Psg is still very strong in Ligue 1 because in their first match of the season they visited the Oceane stadium but they still managed to get 3 points where the match ended with a score of 1-4. With the depth of the squad filled with quality players, of course we can judge that Luis Enrique's squad will again succeed in achieving maximum results in every match because their game is still quite impressive even though they no longer have Mbappe in their team.
The Ligue1 competition will still be dominated by PSG even without players like Mbappe because in Ligue1 there is no heavier pressure from rival teams so that PSG is still the leading team this season. And from one example of a match that has been played by PSG, it is also clear that PSG still has more strength in Ligue1, but I don't know how strong PSG is when playing in the UCL this season because the competition really relies on player cooperation besides having to be filled with quality players in a team.
The gap in team strength is still very visible in Ligue 1, with PSG still the favorite team to win even without Mbappe. There is no excessive worry, nor is there any significant pressure, the depth of the squad owned by Luis Enrique is more than enough to continue to dominate Ligue 1. Meanwhile, PSG journey in the Champions League this season is still a big question mark, because with Mbappe alone they are quite difficult, especially after the mega star left. Many assume that PSG will experience a decline in the Champions League, while at the domestic level they will still be fine.

In the opening match, PSG reaffirmed their identity as the rulers at the domestic level, they easily slaughtered Le Havre with a score of 4-1, amazingly the 4 goals were scored by 4 different players. Departing from this fact, it seems that Luis Enrique has changed his strategy, which encourages each of his players to score goals. This means that PSG wants to prove that their goal productivity does not depend on just one player, anyone can score goals, that's what I think is good. If this performance can be maintained, there is a possibility that PSG will be able to overcome the tight competition in the Champions League, at least they can reach the semifinals like last season.

The gap between PSG and other teams in the French League was not because of Mbappe in this team but it was because of the more money they have in this team other than having or not having Mbappe. I think Mbappe was a good player for PSG but they will have enough money to hire more players and be the winner of the next French League regardless of having Mbappe in this team or not.
Also other than the huge money they have in PSG, they have got a coach like Enrque who improved the team a lot and made PSG to have much better teamwork.

PSG will continue to dominate Ligue 1 even without Mbappe in their squad, PSG has absolutely no dependence on Mbappe in the domestic league because they are the strongest club there. Other players took turns scoring goals for their team's victory, a 4-1 victory when destroying Le Havre proved that PSG were still able to dominate the match.

PSG always struggles when competing in the Champions League, even though they are still strengthened by Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, they are unable to make PSG win the UCL trophy. Now that all three players have left the club, the concerns for PSG will grow and they will struggle even more to compete in the UCL.
PSG does not need to worry about themselves in the Ligue 1 competition because until this season no other team has been able to surpass their strength in Ligue 1. So the only thing PSG needs to worry about is themselves in the Champions League this season which generally really needs some reliable players to be able to win a lot there. But on the one hand I am also not so sure that PSG can do more surprises in the Champions League this season because as you said that while there were still many great stars at PSG, they were also unable to bring the team to win a trophy in the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain had a better squad in the past. Everyone saw them as the favorites in the Champions League the year Messi came, but they couldn't win. They've been aiming for this for many years, but they can't win. We can see a similar scenario this year. Also, this year's Paris Saint-Germain squad is more mediocre than last year's. They lost Mbappé and still haven't been able to replace him. Maybe they can reconsider after a good player comes along.

Lyon has starting the league with poor performance because today they have lost with huge scores from Rennes and according to the lineup i can see Pierre Sage did major change because he was dare to played some of new players which just joined this summer such as Mikautadze, Benrahma, Nuamah and Niakhate but unfortunately these players didn't bringing positive impact for Lyon

Especially Niakhate that i have seen as centre back he did several mistakes which makes Lyon can conceded 2 goals within 2 minutes besides that Lyon without Alexandre Lacazette is hard struggling to scores
Rennes played very well in this match so they were able to win with a landslide score. They have effective tools so that they can make good use of them when they get an opportunity. Actually, Lyon is not that bad, it's just that they have fragility in defense, they almost can't anticipate every attack made by Rennes. In the first 20 minutes they were not able to create full concentration, so the hosts, Rennes, could make good use of it.
In the previous season they were in the middle of the standings, Lyon had a better ranking at the end of the standings. But of course there is so much that changes when starting a new season and that is quite visible in this first match. We can still wait for Lyon's next match to see whether they will be able to improve their performance or not. But I think they can do better.

Maybe coach Pierre Sage has another reason for including new names in this match and also what he saw during the training session did not show at all what happened on the field. Maybe it is also understandable if there are players who have not been able to adapt in the early matches and also player mistakes like that are also unavoidable.

I think the most important thing is that everything can be fixed quickly because if you just linger in sadness due to defeat, it will never end. Lyon had to give up the 3 points for the host Rennes and honestly when playing away, the pressure of the fans will put great pressure on the visiting team like Lyon. So this victory is very much deserved for Rennes.

Indeed, they destroyed Le Havre 4-1, but don't get overly thrilled. Le Havre equalised, and PSG appeared wobbly for a short period. That is not a good indicator. Mbappe's absence is really evident. Their onslaught loses edge without his continual threat. They scored three more at last, although it was scrazy rather than overpowering

For the Champions League, this presents major questions. Le Havre turned up a flaw. Ramos is hurt; Mbappe's MIA; and now PSG seems weak. Ligue 1 could be a stroll, but Europe is another animal entirely. They are in peril if they cannot locate a consistent goal-scorer. Luis Enrique must solve this quickly; otherwise, PSG's aspirations for the Champions League would be dashed

Actually there is nothing special in Ligue 1 even though it was previously filled with several big star players there, but it never happened with an increase in interest in watching in Ligue 1, even though PSG always comes out as champions here is what makes everyone reluctant to watch matches in Ligue 1 after Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid makes everyone's interest in watching matches at PSG or other big clubs seem to have started to decrease and there is nothing interesting with.

The 4-1 victory over Le Havre has proven that without Mbappe PSG looks fine so PSG will still be seen to dominate the League for the next few seasons, maybe it is very unfortunate with management who always prioritize the domestic league title rather than winning the Champions League title, which until now PSG has not felt for decades at least PSG is interested in winning the title even though some time ago they brought in world-class players but PSG really couldn't get the title even though it was already inhabited by star-studded players.

French football is in turmoil as Mbappe leaves PSG. In addition to PSG's serious decline in power, Ligue 1's economic leverage could also be severely affected. Reduced resources lead to reduced competition: Ligue 1 will not be attractive enough to retain audiences. Ligue 1 is facing the challenge of losing the face of the tournament for many years - Kylian Mbappe. The loss of the biggest star in French football at the moment has dealt a heavy blow to PSG's ambitions as well as Ligue 1's ambition to be Europe's top league. So what exactly do the clubs and tournament organizers need to do next?
Do you guys still follow Ligue 1? As for me, since Lionel Messi and Neymar left Ligue 1, I have not paid attention to this tournament anymore.

PSG has every reason to be worried, though they are the best club in the French League, notwithstanding, they are also facing some shift from their usual way. How many big names remain in the club at this point? This calls for concern. They are still not without their good squad, especially if we look at it from the angle of what they played on Friday against Le Havre. But we should equally acknowledge that Le Havre is a weak club so PSG's performance could be decisive until given more time. I've also noticed that the lack of strong contending teams in the French League is why PSG always shine, I wonder what they would play if the club were in the Premier League and others. This is why I do not see them winning the UCL any time soon and you are right to be concerned about that. If they couldn't win it when they have enough of key global stars in their arsenal I wonder what they can do when they've almost had them all gone. This current team will try their best but I am sure that the feat will reduce compared to when Mbappe and others were still there.

At the beginning of this season I had speculation that there were several clubs that would try to compete and prevent PSG from winning the title again.

-Marseille
-Rennes
-Lille
-Lens
-Monaco

Of the 5 clubs, I am sure they will perform better than last season because looking at the first match, the 5 clubs have performed very well as if they are ready to face tough obstacles in League 1.

Upcoming match schedule.

PSG - Montpellier
Lyon - Monaco
Lille - Angers

In that match, PSG must get 3 more points if they want to win the title again because Montpellier is not a strong club.

Or if not, Lille will get 3 points by beating Angers.
Apart from PSG, there are several big teams, although not as big as PSG in Ligue 1 who won their first match, the teams you mentioned have had a good start to the season with a good win, but it seems like you are expecting too much from these teams which even I don't think they will have the ability to prevent PSG from winning the championship trophy this season, currently PSG may not be in good condition after they were left by Mbappe but I don't think this will change their chances of continuing to dominate Ligue 1 this season, Montpellier will face PSG in the second week, let's say PSG will lose the match against Montpellier and allow Lille, who beat Angers, to take over the top of the Ligue 1 standings, so how long is it possible for Lille to stay at the top of the Ligue 1 standings later?
If you remember the previous season, of course you can see that PSG never actually controlled the top of the Ligue 1 standings at the start of the season, but PSG actually took over the top of the standings when the season almost entered the middle and that's where they confirmed themselves as the rulers of Ligue 1 and left the  others teams with a large difference in points.

Mason Greenwood is truly a hidden gem and fortunately Marseille managed to get his contract from Manchester United. Through last night's match between Marseille and Brest he performed very well and scored two goals for Marseille's away win. In fact, we know that Marseille made a big shopping spree this summer and the result was that they managed to win with a very convincing score of 1-5 and this was a big win for Ligue 1 so far in the first week.

In fact, if we look at Brest, they are quite a strong team, especially their performance last season was amazing and they even managed to finish in 3rd place in the standings. But it seems that even with such a big achievement, Marseille is not discouraged and immediately shows their prowess under the guidance of new coach Roberto De Zerbi. I really look forward to another win from Marseille and hope to heat up the competition at the top for this season.
Olympique Marseille will always ensure they keep an eye on their key players especially the new signings from the transfer window this season. One of the them is Mason Greenwood, he's been really contributing and active on the pitch, portraying his stellar performance and giving true hints to his teammates. Mason Greenwood fits in so well on his debut and scored a brace. Mason Greenwood will explore more in his new club. The Englishman fall out of favour under Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United, not to worry because there's possible future with Marseille and Greenwood.
A great victory for Marseille with a great winning streak under their new coach De Zerbi, and the victory also proved again how fierce the former Man United player Greenwood is, he managed to score two goals in the opening match or the first round of the French league 1 and that will be an increase in his mentality in bringing Marseille back to explore the league and for him to create a good individual as Marseille's top scorer, this moment will certainly be used by De Zerbi to lift Greenwood's reputation which began to fade because of his mistakes in the past which made him very hated by English fans and not with Eric ten hag, because he was hated there he could not continue at Man United not because of the coach factor because from the beginning Ten Hag admired him and wanted to work with him but with that they had to run aground with the Greenwood problem. But now he seems to have rediscovered himself as a goal hungry player who can create chances with both feet this is a fantastic thing for him and I think if he succeeds with this scenario at Marseille I think he will return to a better team or a top team in Europe because basically he is a talented player so it is a shame that his good skills were mutated by his behavior and now I see him better in terms of attitude hopefully nothing happens to him that makes him have to be held back in the world of football hopefully he can win the French league 1 with Marseille.

Yes, No other club can catch up with them in terms of financial resources, and player strength. This has led to PSG becoming the default name to be the number 1 name predicted to win Ligue 1 every season in the past decade. PSG's dominance has reached such heights that many football fans have even started referring to Ligue 1 as the “Farmers' League”. But with top names like Mbappe and Neymar having left the club, is this the time for a coup? Of course not. Marseille, Lens Lyon, Rennes, or Lille are still teams that are too difficult to expect because of their inherent economic limitations. No team has the potential to match PSG to become a real rival during this time.

As for the Champions League, I won't discuss it, PSG has no chance, I think their current squad is not good enough to dream about.

It is a big win for PSG to start this season and with good and deep player resource, Enrique and PSG will have good ability to dominate the domestic league again. They are able to do this but a biggest task for them in this summer will be Champions League, go far and win it will be a most ambitious and important task for them in this season.
PSG's big win is something to be proud of because they were able to score many goals even without Mbappe, meaning that PSG players are quite reliable at this time by the coach, this club actually has good players but when there is Mbappe all players depend on him but now without Mbappe then everyone plays with enthusiasm and gives their best performance for PSG and continues to be the strongest in League 1, but yes PSG's priority is not only League 1 they also really want the Champions League title but it is indeed very difficult for them to achieve because the competition is very tight.

But unfortunately this victory brought disaster for PSG because they had to lose their main player Goncalo Ramos due to an ankle injury so in the next match against Montpellier PSG could not play without him.

I have always said that PSG is a waste of time for top players and top coaches. The only reason I understand that top guys go there is the money. It is not as bad as Saudi Arabia of course, but if a player like Mbappe wants to play on the highest competitive level, PSG is not an option. What's the chance that he could have ever won a ballon D'or there? It was close to zero unless they pulled off a miracle and won the Champions League, but that wasn't to be expected.

But it was a bit of a surprise that he didn't win the La Liga game with Real Madrid today. I guess even Mbappe is just a human being who needs some time to get accustomed to the new environment.
There are many who doubt PSG's ability when it comes to competing in the Champions League and it is still a mystery why they have struggled so much to be successful there. They have had some great players before but their presence has not been able to deliver the title. If it were not for the money there could not be any other reason that is much more appropriate because pursuing an individual career is almost impossible for Mbappe there especially when it comes to the Ballon D'or.

Although the match ended in a draw he made a good debut in the UEFA Super Cup and he managed to score a goal against Atalanta. But for La Liga they may have been unlucky because many chances were not used properly to score goals.
