PSG made a pretty good debut in Ligue 1, even though we know that their opponents are not a tough team. The victory over La Harve shows that without Mbappe, PSG is still a strong team in Lique 1. Uniquely, even though Joao Neves played in the second half, he contributed to this match and provided two assists that became goals for his team. Well, we can see that PSG is still one of the strong candidates in the competition even without Mbappe. Enrique did his job well, even though Paris Saint-Germain has lost Mbappe. At least, we have seen their performance at the beginning of the season. Although the competition is still quite long and we don't know for sure how PSG will perform next, at least they also have other players who are able to score goals. La Harve fell at home, while PSG collected three points.

League 1 is not that difficult league that PSG under Luiz Enrique cannot handle without Mbappe. I know how important he was to the squad during his time with the club, but I trust Enrique that he can build another strong and reliable team that will play very good football without Mbappe, and I can see from their performance today that they can keep the League 1 dominance for long unless Monaco or any other teams do well in the coming seasons.

Mbappe has started to achieve his European title dream at Madrid, he was lucky to lift the UEFA Super Cup in his first UEFA game as a Real Madrid player. I am sure Mbappe will soon win the Champions League in his first three seasons because he made the team stronger at attacking than they used to be.

Maybe this is still in context and honestly I am happy to see Mbappe win his first European title elsewhere. Smiley

What would have happened if Mbappe had stayed at PSG? Of course it is impossible for him to win a European title and with this Supercup title, one of many to come will be created. We can see from the hundreds of matches with PSG that he has never gotten what he has wanted for a long time and once he played for another club in his first match he immediately got his dream.

The right decision from Mbappe by joining the Spanish giants and what would have happened if he had stayed at PSG for years and only chased the money, maybe he would have grown forever as a player with a large income and minimal European level trophies.
At Real Madrid, I expect Mbappe to win many European trophies of which the UEFA Champions League title will definitely be one of them in no distant time. Making that move to Real Madrid I think is the player's best decision and I believe it'll pay off for him.

In the words of Mbappe he said going to Real Madrid is a dream come true for him so I don't think he will regret making the move to Real Madrid. Just as the player is expecting to win European trophies, going to Real Madrid is going to make things easier for him cause Real Madrid is the most decorated team when it comes to winning European competitions and having a contract of 5 years with the team Mbappe is sure of winning more than 3 European trophies including the champions League competition which has become the birth right of Real Madrid his team.

Mbappe will also increase his chances of winning individual awards if his performance in the Real Madrid team helps his team to win trophies so playing in the team will give him the opportunity of winning trophies and recognition as a star player.

One of the best career decisions mbappe has made in a very long time was that which he did at the end of last season to join the Spanish team, Real Madrid, he's got a good and perfect start already which is making the anticipation peaked as the believe now is that he's going to be able to do even more.  One thing I will not do even with all this is making the comparison that's been illustrated on the picture above, both teams are very different teams apart and has got a whole lot of differences and factors that could affect the productivity of players of which I see to be one of the advantages helping mbappe currently.

They will definitely lose attacking power because of Mbappe leaving PSG and this can definitely damage the team. But I think PSG can find a solution for it. Enrique was aware of Mbappe leaving the team and since he is experienced enough, I think he will find a solution for it maybe find another player or use the players they already have to fill the place of Mbappe part of Enrique's plan but we can't expect to see the same good performance from PSG.

PSG have suffered significant financial losses due to various contracts yet have not heard from their club or anywhere else that they are in bad times financially. PSG still have a lot of money in their fund and with this money they can still buy the best stars in the world but the big question is why they are not buying any players this season. It is likely that Luis Enrique will continue to try to bring the player of his choice to their club, but the French league is now at a point where no quality player is interested in leaving. But if the player is paid a higher annual salary and if he is given facilities then maybe a star player of good quality can come to PSG. Maybe we will know about a new player signing at PSG very soon because the transfer window is not closed yet. As the club has already lost a lot of money, the hope is that the club will sign a good player, albeit late.
They suffered losses, that's for sure, but it can't be blamed on others because after all, PSG's losses happened because they couldn't manage their management well.
Some reasons that made them have to think again that everything happened because of bad management when talking about profits and losses such as bringing in some old players at a fairly high price and of course a large salary as happened to Messi and Sergio, or they were also too loyal in transfers by always paying high prices for some of their players and the most fatal was trying to keep Mbappe with all forms of Mbappe's desire to move from the start. So it's quite difficult to say that they didn't lose even though the exposure they got from some big players was also very profitable, but it couldn't cover the losses they had.
I mean it wasn't really a "loss". The problem here was that Mbappe always wanted to play at Real Madrid, and he does want that number 7 one day too but right now it's occupied of course, but he is a HUGE Cristiano Ronaldo fan so it's not really that complicated, he would go there the moment he was given the chance.

So far, PSG managed to keep him there, and on his last contract extension he was afraid of anything at Qatar world cup, which is why he accepted two more seasons or something, and he knew that he would leave as soon as the contract ends, and that's what he did. The problem here is that PSG saw this and insisted that they are going to end up with losing him and still didn't sell him, they could definitely sell him and still didn't.

You should look at the summer of 2017, PSG caused a stir when they spent 222 million euros to break Neymar's contract with Barcelona. Barcelona just watched bitterly as PSG snatched Neymar from their hands. PSG believes that only Yamal has the potential to replace Kylian Mbappe. To have Yamal, PSG clearly understands that they need to have an offer that is so strong that their partner cannot refuse, enough for Barcelona to consider. In the context of not yet escaping the financial crisis, is 250 million euros enough? 250 million euros will help Barcelona do a lot of things. I believe that things can change with a lot of money. If Barcelona does not have a reasonable strategy for buying and selling players, I think Barcelona will fall into adversity again. What they need to do now is balance their finances. They need to learn how to make money from players, otherwise they will go bankrupt. Of course, Barcelona's budget is not empty yet, but it is only a matter of time.
PSG made a big mistake when they put high hopes on Mbappe, they believed that Mbappe would continue to stay at Parc des Princes with all the luxuries offered, from a high salary to other facilities. Now they have to bear the loss because they did not get any money from Mbappe departure to Real Madrid. PSG are used to signing big-money players, their bid for Yamal would again break their previous transfer record when they signed Neymar from Barcelona. The offer is very tempting, but Barcelona has no intention of releasing its young star despite receiving a high offer. PSG must look for other targets before the transfer window closes, bringing in quality players needs to be prioritized so that they can compete with other teams in the Champions League.
But it can't be said as mistake because it is only natural that PSG has high hopes for Mbappe because he is the only player that PSG has relied on the most so far in achieving victory or several championship titles.
snip

We need to realize something here, I think this discussion misses out on a very important thing which is player agreement. I don't think a player like Yamal, surrounded by experienced figures will end up in PSG, not after how PSG has fared in recent years. PSG just shows big money moves, but history has shown why that is all that they have to offer.

Yes, there will be most likely a groundbreaking, unbelievable offer to Yamal. But I have a strong feeling that will be turned down by him because I think he is more mature than we think and he knows how to build a good career in front of him. I am not saying Barcelona is the only place to do that, but I know PSG is definitely not that club either.

This would be the first game of the season for PSG to go in a game without their number 1 player Mbappe, who left the side to join the Spanish giant Madrid, as they (PSG) visit The Stade Océane in the opener of the season. How is the squad going to look like without Mbappe? Everybody has to move on and PSG can now give a chance for some of those young talents they have on the bench to come show how good they are and I think Ramos can do better in tonight's game, that's if they give him the opportunity to step up in this encounter against Le Havre. I don't expect the visitors to give more than 4 goals and also they can't keep a clean sheet against the host, let's say a 1-3 win for PSG but I think if they don't get another striker they might struggle this season.

Even without Mbappe, the PSG squad is still strong enough to beat Le Havre. I know it is not easy for a team to go without their best player. Mbappe has been a great contributor to the team’s performances, and they will really miss his contributions. But still, without Mbappe, PSG will go ahead to win the Ligue 1 trophy. I don't think there is any team that has a squad strong enough to compete with PSG. They may try, but I don't think any team in the competition can win the league trophy.

But let's see how tonight's match will look. I am not entirely focused on the winning because I know that PSG is the favorite to win the match, but I am interested in seeing how well the players perform tonight without Mbappe. Honestly, it will be a great opportunity for those young players on the bench to come and show their talents. PSG still has quality players, and if the coach is tactical, the team can even do better than when Mbappe was there.

I was quite happy when PSG managed to score a quick goal in the third minute and won at half time with a score of 0-1 but still, it looks like PSG might also be quite satisfied with the goal because in the second half PSG conceded in the 48th minute and made the match now draw 1-1. If PSG is unable to win this match then I think it is clear that PSG will still find it difficult to have good results without Mbappe.

Also, if in this match PSG fails to get three points then I personally am quite sure, this will provide a slight assessment that makes it possible for PSG to also find it difficult to get the Ligue 1 trophy. Not like before because I also still feel that if it was only for Ligue 1 maybe PSG will still have good results but in reality, playing away against Le Havre is also not easy for PSG to win.

I think it's high time we stopped discussing about the exit of Kylian Mbappé and focus more on how PSG can move forward without him, I believe before Kylian Mbappé joined PSG they were doing fine just that his arrival added more light to the team but he should be allowed to enjoy his new found team in Madrid instead of us continuing to talk about how his departure will affect PSG. However, I still believe PSG will do pretty well without him even though they would find it a little difficult but they gonna heal faster.

As for tonight's game, it has already started and now in the second half of the game and there has not been much pressure in the game even though both teams managed to score each other as the score is currently 1:1 as at the time of writing this but before the match ends, hopefully a winner will emerge but it may not be PSG because they are not impressive in this second half so Le Havre might shock them if they are not careful but I still want PSG to record their first win in this new season.

Paris Saint Germain was only superior in the Domestic League, when they went to Europe, they could not make much to win a title. In the Champions League they are almost every season there, but there is no achievement they can get. Their best note while in the Champions League is to become runner up in the 2019/2020 season. As one of the clubs that once had a luxurious squad, it was clear that something was not good for them and it confirmed that they were very difficult in big competitions.

Mbappe has made a good choice, if he decided to go in the previous season then he could have gotten the Champions League title. A little late but this is not a problem because he is here. His career as a footballer is very bright, especially now he is already in a club that dominates the Champions League with 15 titles they won. I think that in the near future he will also get another pretension (near what I mean is 1 or 2 seasons at Real Madrid).
Mbappe said that Real Madrid is a club of trophies because his first game brought him his first European trophy for playing in a club. Real Madrid is the dream of all players that are super stars and have the zeal to lift European trophies in a short period of time unlike other clubs that the probability of them lifting European trophy is 50-50.

Mbappe will be very happy that he came to Real Madrid because he will be more successful in his football career now that he is in Real Madrid compared to any other club in Europe. PSG is only a local champion and cannot win any trophy outside their territory showing that they are not as big as they present themselves even though they are very rich.
Mbappe has managed to win a trophy that he never got at PSG, but I don't think we can sentence PSG with the words Impossible to get the Champions League or Super Uefa trophy because they notyet get it now but that doesn't mean it's impossible for them to get it in the future Grin,  PSG is make the champions league trophies  as their main target but it seems they are not yet capable and lucky to achieve it although there are many star players in their squad, Mbappe has officially become a Madrid player but this should not make PSG lose  their hope is to get the Champions League trophy, because after all PSG should learn from every failure they have so far in winning the Champions League trophy.

Mbappe's departure to Madrid of course leaves a big hole in the PSG squad and I think Enrique should be able to cover it by recruiting the right players now, but apart from that of course what Mbappe has achieved now is not something to be so proud so high,  because however he only have a smaller contribution to winning that the trophy compared from Joselu who fought in the Champions League with Madrid from begin, so I think this season will be the perfect season for Mbappe to fight with Madrid in every competition they participate .

Just like you, Every fan of Kylian Mbappe was very was very happy to see him lift a European trophy for the first time in his career as a
professional  footballer and that's definitely one of the reasons he left Paris Saint Germaine to join Real Madrid this summer. Kylian Mbappe like we all know is one of the most outstanding players in Europe in the last six years but having no European trophy to his name before joining Real Madrid have been a big thumbs down to his glittering career.
At Real Madrid, I expect Mbappe to win many European trophies of which the UEFA Champions League title will definitely be one of them in no distant time. Making that move to Real Madrid I think is the player's best decision and I believe it'll pay off for him.

With a medium or even low level of competition in Ligue 1 there should be nothing for PSG to worry about with Mbappe leaving, it is possible that they could lose the title this season but next season the adaptation will be better, and facing LeHavre it is very possible that PSG will face difficulties at the start match, I see the match won 3-1 it's quite difficult for PSG, win with narrow scores or even draw it looks like more possible for PSG.

Which means you're saying that PSG won't be as deadly and aggressive as they were last season because they might not have Mbappe but the force of pushing oppositions back as they always do in the Ligue 1 won't be there and I have that believe too. Teams that give them hard time last season will appear very strong to them from how I see it.
Going against Le Havre is nothing to worry about but I feel they are not going to be as fast as before, the smaller teams would want to get a piece of PSG and that's what the home team (La Havre) are going to do but if Luis Enrique keeps the composure of the team intact I believe they can play like nobody ever left and believe me that this opener won't settle for a draw, there must be a win.

That is the issue for a team to always rely on a particular player and now it's a hard choice to make, I hope Enrique's journey to make PSG a great team won't be a failure at the end. Mbappe's exit is something to worry about unless they find a player to cover up that space, but let's hope they play well in tonights game but they can't take this same mentality to the champions league because if they are not well organized I don't think it would be easy to even come out of the group stage, is just a matter of time before we see the true PSG, for now all I see are domestic champions.

If their target is limited to the France league then there is no need to sign any new players because with the team they currently have they will definitely write France and win the championship. But if they plan on Champions League tournament outside of this tournament then they must recruit good quality players. Earlier they wasted a lot of money now if they spend some money then that money will not go astray because the manager they have now will not hire any wrong player to their club. If the management gives Luis Enrique financial freedom then the current manager can make this team much stronger. But if there is a limitation in spending money then it will be very difficult for Luis Enrique to take this team to a good level.
I agree because looking at what is in the current PSG squad with their strength in terms of financial and individual players actually for Ligue 1 they are still quite luxurious and will still be difficult to compete with even though there is no Mbappe for next season but some players still have skills above average so for Ligue 1 actually it is very enough.
But of course the hope is not limited to that, PSG is currently one of the clubs that is still considered big, especially with its financial strength so they definitely still want more in terms of recognition and the Champions League is one way for them to be recognized.
With their strength now although it is still very good but I am quite sure it will not be enough because apart from players and coaches, there is experience which is another factor if you really want them to be in better condition. By looking at that, of course there must be several players who must enter in the transfer season this time which unfortunately they still haven't done.

PSG tried hard to win the Champions League trophy and they spent a lot of money. When they put together some of the best stars in the world including Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, we thought this team was capable of blowing any team away but we forgot that this team didn't prioritize midfielders very much and the result was nothing.

One player after another they bought and they failed more and more then Messi and Neymar conflict with Mbappe in the middle made their club worse. The problem they had earlier was that they failed to appoint a good manager to the club but now they have appointed a good quality manager to the club but they may not have given that manager financial freedom. If a good manager is in charge of a team and given financial freedom, he will definitely be able to bring a team to a good state. I think PSG should have confidence in Luis Enrique.

It is possible to happen but we don't need to wait for it because it will definitely take a long time.
Currently, Mbappe will shine much brighter with Real Madrid but I am quite sure that PSG fans will soon forget him when one day there is another player who contributes greatly to PSG and with the strong finances that this team has I think it is quite possible for them to get that player in the near future.
If we look at it as a whole, Mbappe is not that influential for PSG, the proof is that Mbappe cannot win the CL title for PSG.
I also think so because sooner or later every PSG fan will definitely forget Mbappe even though the replacement player who will be at PSG is not quite comparable to Mbappe. But of course that will not be a serious problem for PSG because the team can still win Ligue 1 even though it might still be quite difficult to win the Champions League because to be able to win and get the trophy in the Champions League still needs some great players who can work together in a team as has been seen in Real Madrid so far.
There is no doubt that there will be a huge sense of loss at this time from PSG fans, so far Mbappe has spent his career with PSG but instead he won the European trophy with Madrid which is actually his new club, I think for now there will be a split of opinion that occurs in PSG fans regarding mbappe:

1. Those who still respect him even though he no longer plays for PSG and are happy with his achievements with Madrid.

2. Those who will continue to hate Mbappe after his decision to leave PSG.

Currently PSG needs new star players who the fans can rely on, so that fans will slowly forget about Mbappe, although I'm not sure that PSG fans will completely stop hating Mbappe in the future.

Le Havre indeed weak team compared to PSG because their status as promotion team of season 2023/2024 but we still don't know the performance of PSG without Mbappe although they have good striker such as Gonçalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani but we still didn't know the performance of these players later so expect PSG win with big scores is very risky for your bets

And here is the current odds for this match

Le Havre @7.00
PSG @1.44

I can accept the odds for PSG although it's quite low to bets but i think this is safe bets for this match and probably easy money because although PSG lost Mbappe but i am sure they still strong and can beat Le Havre without any problem and about the final scores of this match probably 2-1 or 1-0 for PSG

Did you just say weak? La Havre can be the underdog in this encounter but we can write them off till kick off and take a look at what happened in the opening game of the season in Spain where Ath Bilbao made a mess of themselves against Getafe, who would have thought the Getafe side would be that energetic in that game, making the home team to struggle with their defense? You see, La Havre can do the same since the PSG team need to understand themselves since this is the first time they are playing without their Captain Mbappe, mistakes will be made but is something they need to workout on their own, talking about PSG.
Using the odd the bookie gave is a bit tempting I must say, these days odd can be deceiving so we need to be careful and is best to understand how well the PSG side will play before confidently saying they are winning the game, but as for this game I trust them to give a win.
