Lyon having a history does mean a lot, because it does give them a great value and it should be something that they are using right now. When you have a history of winning, you end up with something that is taking some time but can be great for you financially, it gives you some fandom and some income and they do have that.

Even proven by the amount of money they spent, that's all thanks to them having a good history and I think it should be something that is not really that complicated to begin with and I believe that the best thing to do right now would be just focusing on how to get greater results on the long term as well. I think they are looking like they are making a mistake right now but I think they are going to eventually figure out what the problem is.

Last season Lyon was also very bad, but Lyon managed to rise and managed to finish in a very good position and it was also surprising of course. But unfortunately, with Lyon's success last season, it was related to the success of making very good improvements, but the effort did not continue until this season because Lyon still had a bad start this season. Of course PSG are the absolute favourite to make it. Nobody doubts that after seeing the way they started the season.    Monaco are given a bigger chance than Marseille. I wasn't expecting that. Because after leaving 5 weeks behind, I must admit Marseille have impressed me a little more. They look more capable in the attacking line especially.

I'm looking forward to watching the first game between them. It can be really interesting. And lastly I hope one of them manages to stay in the title race with PSG for a long time. I know it isn't easy but it would make the season more fun. 

Talking about relegation we are too early to see that, the season has only started five matches it is not a thing that can be taken into account, even though the team is now in the relegation zone once they have many opportunities to bounce back because the point has not had a very far gap, but it is true that Lyon is not in good shape, even facing Marseille who has 10 players after the fifth minute does not make Lyon able to win the match easily, instead it makes them lose when dealing with a team of only 10 players, it's a bit embarrassing in my opinion, Marseille is good at playing its rhythm when defending then attacking.

I mean, PSG is sharp in the front line but in some positions they are weak. some PSG coaches tend to rely on their mega star players rather than involving teamwork. it does not mean that PSG does not play as a team, but rather emphasizes its star players too much. under Enrique's tutelage PSG is now slowly building the foundation first, they do not have mega star players at this time, teamwork is more emphasized. although not yet reaching its best level, at least PSG performed well without relying on its star players. because, now they do not have them. maybe, slowly they will reach the time when their dreams can come true. although, it seems not for now.

The Girona team was very strong last season. The team performed well throughout the season. And for a long time the top spot in the table was occupied by Girona. So the team was able to qualify for the Champions League. Girona was third in the table at the end of the season.

As Girona qualified for the Champions League, they should have looked to strengthen the squad. Then Girona would have gradually become a club of the first line of La Liga and Europe. But Girona management was not interested in spending money. So their squad is not strong enough this season.

Girona's goal against PSG was to finish the match goalless and gain 1 point. I didn't see any tendency to score among the Girona players. Girona played defensively in the whole match.

Well, this is what we often see in Ligue 1, yes, teams with good performance in the past cannot maintain it until now, even now almost every season there is always a change of teams that can compete at the top. It seems that there is a problem that most teams face so that they become like that and practically only Paris Saint Germain can be consistent with their performance. If things like this continue, then I will not be surprised when there will be many teams that were good in the past have to be relegated one by one because their game has declined every season. I don't know why big clubs in the league 1 are getting some setback in their performances; it is actually warrying to see clubs that used to compete in the Champions League in the past are now suffering to even make it to the Europa League against small teams that just got promoted some years back. Well, I don't know who to blame especially for Olympique Lyonnais; they have some good quality players that should have help the team to achieve its goal against all these small teams in the League, but it seems like these big players like Lacazate, Wilfred Zaha, Namanja Matic, and other big names are not helping the team, or is the problem from the coach? because with all these big players they are not supposed be out of top four, but these teams with young players like Lille, Nantes, Lense, and others are given us a tough competition in the League from last two season. Nevertheless, Monaco is back again to challange PSG, I hope they will be consistent because I have seen their performance in the Champions League against Barcelona.

What I want to say about this match was that Paris Saint-Germain played football with one goal in mind, like a training match. Girona could not attack at all throughout the match. They tried to repel Paris Saint-Germain’s attacks. I look at the statistics and see that Paris Saint-Germain took 26 shots. Only five of them found the goal. In fact, they had a problem here in the match. Their accurate shot rate was quite low. Still, they managed to leave the match with three points, which was important for them. However, to tell the truth, Paris Saint-Germain could have scored 4-5 goals in this match. They scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.

Lyon started the league quite worryingly, they felt 2 defeats at the beginning and in the last week they also felt defeat again. This is a setback for those who actually have quite a big name in Ligue 1.

However, this is only the first 5 matches where they still have many matches that they can improve in the future. With the note that they must be able to improve their performance to be even better.

There is still time to make improvements, don't let them be late in fixing this, because if they are late then it could be something worse that they could feel. now they should not be burdened with the results of their previous matches, what they have to do is focus on the nearest match.

Lyon has started the season very poorly with only one win so far in the league, thus making them fall to the bottom of the Ligue 1 standings at the moment, what happened to Lyon this season is indeed inversely proportional to what happened last season but I think a long season does not necessarily guarantee that they can be better later, currently Lyon is strengthened with many good players that they signed in the transfer market last summer but in fact the strategy and game scheme implemented by their current coach is very poor, we can even see how easy it is for opposing players to exploit their defense and of course coach it must be improved immediately if Lyon wants to end the season in a better position end season,  Indeed, so far we continue to say that the season is still long, but every time their lose points it will only make them even worse later.

PSG never gave a second thought to spending money, but despite spending so much money, they achieved nothing. They have won consecutive domestic league titles but have not fared much better in the Champions League. 

In the history of the Champions League, PSG has played in the Champions League final only once against Bayern Munich and Neymar and Mbappe contributed a lot there but unfortunately they could not win that match. PSG then bought several players for significant sums of money but without success. The biggest reason behind their lack of success was trying to manage experienced players with inexperienced managers. If a good quality manager had been appointed to the club earlier and if that good quality manager had managed the previous PSG team well then this team would have had a Champions League title by now.

Well even last season they weren't amongst top three so see them at where they are now isn't a big deal and they having hopes of getting beyond that point this season isn't a big deal on its own but I think two tough hurdles for them will be from PSG and Marseille who happens to be the table toppers currently and are even looking at making it to winning the trophy possibly by the end of the season too so even if it sounded early to judge their performance so far, we should also consider that they are within the average rating in their league so much isn't expected of them .

You are right and this season won't be easier but this definitely will be cheaper than last season for PSG to play in the Champions League without their superstar player Mbappe, He was playing there for years and this made PSG thought they always needed this French player and they can't have good performance without Mbappe.
But now they are playing without Mbappe and thanks to their coach Enrique they have much better teamwork than last season which can make PSG to even have the possibility to have better performance than last season in both the French League and the Champions League.

Guys, we have to remember that this is just the beginning of the season and we don't need to worry about Lyon current poor performance and this has happened often. Even in the previous season Lyon had a much worse performance compared to this season but the fact is that everything is proven by the end of the season Lyon is in the top 6 in the standings.
I don't know what the problem is that makes Lyon always start the season very badly but what is certain is that we have to be patient and wait to see that towards the end of the season Lyon will definitely appear more consistent and maybe one of the strategies that this team has.

Yes, there are little signs of PSG being competitive and a contender in the champions league this season. This season they look more ambitious and well improved in term of player recruitment and performance but winning the champions league trophy this season is still a major doubt in my mind. Winning the league trophy this season is feasible achievement than winning the champions league.

I think there is no point for us to talk about the past anymore because if we remember that right of course PSG in the past was also not a great team like now, but what happened to Lyon is of course very tragic considering that last season they performed very impressive and were able to finish in the Europa League zone, but I don't know what happened to them this season, but lyon actually started the season very badly and even from the 5 matches they has  played lyon only get 1 victory, even though Lyon is one of the teams that this summer has done a lot of new player recruitment and has spent a total of 148 million euros for 13 new players ( apart from players who have returned from loan spells), ,but so far the big recruitment has not given positive results for them.

Lyon are currently close to the relegation zone and obviously it will be very dangerous if they don't get up soon, the defeat to Marseille makes Lyon even worse in the ligue and even with the current condition and form will make it difficult for them to compete in the Europa League later, I think Lyon management must immediately fix their squad performance and maybe it's time for them to start evaluating Pierre Sage current performance as a coach.

Lyon is currently ranked 14th in the Ligue1 standings and it is really very worrying because the position is very close to the relegation position in Ligue1 so Lyon must be able to rise in several matches in order to continue to survive in Ligue1 because Lyon is indeed a team that has a good history in Ligue1 even though it is not a winner of many trophies in Ligue1. And what happened to Lyon when they faced Marseille at home was certainly inseparable from Lyon's strength which was no longer balanced with the strength possessed by Marseille this season.

Lyon is a club that used to have a history in the French League but as has been said, their performance is currently and last season is quite bad and makes them below the current standings, they can only get 4 points from 5 matches, 1 win, 1 draw and the rest lost, quite worrying with this club at this time but that's every team must experience ups and downs and Lyon is experiencing it.

Thinking about them being relegated I don't think it will happen because they are not too bad compared to the other teams below them Lyon still has the ability and moreover this is just the beginning of the league and there are still many matches they have to prepare for and I think they can still avoid the relegation zone and perform well at the end of the season.
