In this game, in as much as I knew that PSG was the better side, I never kept my expectations high around them because I know they currently have some instability and this was an opportunity for them to seeing how well their abilities can be going into the new season considering all they have been trying to put in place in the most recent times as it concerns the strength and form of the team so far. PSG I believe will use this pre season game to sharpen their tactics and their strategies and aswell in knowing the strength of the players so they will not be making this mistakes in the main season games.

PSG are always upfront to competing for the Champions league title but this time I feel they are not ready compared to how much preparedness I am seeing from most the Premier league teams. PSG just played one preseason match (not judging their potentials from there) but I felt the need for an upgrade in squad since Mbappe has left, I feel no one there in the squad can put in more threat to their opponent the way Mbappe does. Mbappe is a brilliant figure in the squad that attracts more defenders to him leaving enough room for other players to create chance and score, as we know can't depend on Dembele to be that new figure.

We don't get to push aside clubs in that ligue 1, PSG are the favourites but still doesn't guarantee their chances of winning, if they should skip a bit then their chances are limited. PSG will be at their best in the Champions league but definitely not enough to win them the trophy.

While he does need to make the team better, it also means that he can't do it all by himself, he needs help from the staff, from the management and from the players as well. If the players give up because they think they can never be as good without mbappe, then they will not provide 100% of themselves to the games and Luiz Enrique can't do much about that, as a manager he is responsible for making players play better, but after certain point no matter who you are, pep or ancelotti or enrique it doesn't matter, players who don't want to play will not play.

Even if PSG focus more on the champions league and want to win it by all means, they can still try and win it and still win the Ligue 1 title. I haven’t seen any team that is competent enough to beat PSG and refuse them from winning the French Ligue 1 title. They don’t look like the best in the champions league that can win the title, because even if they try, there are other teams that are in the champions league that will defeat them and stop them from winning it. I will like them to put their focus more on the champions league and not really the Ligue 1 because even they don’t put much effort there, they will still win it.


I don’t have much doubt on PSG’s coach Luiz Enrique, he has been a good coach since he joined the team and have helped improve them in their games in all competitions. He did well in the champions league last season and this season also, I expect him to do more even though he can’t win the trophy but getting to reach the finals with the team is another big achievement for him. I have a big conviction on PSG and I hope they’re able to do as expected from them and not fail to perform better next season.

Enrique is actually supported by a lot of convenience at PSG at the moment, especially from a financial perspective, so it shouldn't make Enrique experience difficulties in building a PSG squad more better  next season, Enrique experience should make it easier for him in competing for the Champions League trophy, but instead after losing Mbappe, I see that PSG current squad is not capable enough to make it easier for them to achieve this desire, if you look at PSG performance during pre-season, it is clear that losing Mbappe makes their attack line very dull even though they played Ramos and Muani in that match.

Next season will be Enrique last year as PSG coach, so Enrique should be able to really take advantage of the current transfer market to strengthen their squad so they can compete for the UCL trophy next season, because Failure or success in winning the UCL trophy will be an important factor for Enrique  future at PSG later.

There is nothing impressive that PSG has done so far except for the big loss of losing Mbappe. Without me explaining, most people know that PSG efforts every season are not about competition but are busy maintaining selfishness to prevent their mainstay players from leaving the team. While PSG should think if there are other things that need to be handled immediately to maintain the quality of the team's performance in the long term.
Just imagine what if PSG did not make the Mbappe transfer drama since last season but preferred to find a way to bring in quality players who could replace Mbappe and sell their mainstay player. So that this season PSG will not lose its best performance because there are always replacement players who have the same quality of talent.

And now PSG just feels that what this team did last season was the biggest mistake. So PSG does not need to focus too much on the UCL but should think about finding ways to improve the mentally readiness of the players and improve their performance to be able to compete in the UCL in the future.

PSG players actually have enough experience, although not evenly distributed. I hope so, but for now he also has a lot of work to do to improve the team as a whole. The UCL is no big joke this season, any team wanting it should have to do even better than last season. PSG are going to get competitive but not dominating on the Champions league, I feel there is a lot of team with better squad compared to PSG. It's best they focus mainly on other leagues which they have better chances of securing the victory because it will turn into a hell if they should focused on becoming Champions league winner, not having it at the end and still going trophy less for the season.

PSG should have won against Sturm Graz. Because this team is weak compared to PSg. PSG had a lot of quality players in their squad. However, the PSG team did not play to win the friendly match. Perhaps Luis Enrique's target was to find weaknesses in his squad. And several weaknesses in PSG's squad have been well observed.

I also agree more with what you said because Enrique must be able to maximize the strength of the team he is coaching in order to compete fiercely in the UCL and get his first trophy in the competition. Because PSG still often fails to win the UCL during his career, Enrique still has to be able to give his best for PSG with the support of the best players he can rely on this season and can continue to focus on big competitions like the UCL because in Ligue 1 PSG will still be a very dominant team to win.

in  match PSG against Sturm Graz, I saw that PSG game was still very standard and even when they can dominated but Sturm Graz was able to develop their game under PSG pressure in the match, so It is clear that PSG defense was very fragile in the match, Apart from that, even though they still have Ramos and Muani in the attack line, both of them are still not capable enough to break through the opponent goal, so I think PSG should now look for another striker who is worthy to replace Mbappe in PSG front line next season.

I think PSG's reputation will be lost in the future, it feels like losing Mbappe will not be easy for them and currently there is no replacement that they have hijacked to fill their more competent attack line, how they were held to a draw in pre-season of course this is a tough thing for the coach, I think for PSG domestically it will be tough especially the Champions, seeing Marseille who are getting fiercer by strengthening their line with new names and other clubs also PSG should also work better but in fact there are no newcomers in their attack line, will they rely on their young players next season I think so.

Thought as much too but it is only a preseason game and we shouldn't read too much meaning into the game hence what the results is will not stop PSG from being the better team. PSG drawing is their fault because the players relax after leading with the second goal. If they continue to keep playing with all seriousness, they would had gotten another goal but maybe as it is a friendly match, the coach would had told the players to relax and not over stress. All goals came in the second half and it was very a good first half of football to watch. It is only during preseason that you can get matches as good as this because the smaller teams that have the opportunity to play bigger teams will want to prove to the world that they can beat them. The bigger teams too don't take the games very seriously and it becomes easier to beat them which almost happened but the game ended in a draw and both teams will be fine with that.

I think Enrique will not try too hard to find the right replacement to fill Mbappe's position while PSG already has Goncalo Ramos as Mbappe's replacement and on the other hand the offer given to Osimhen has not given a positive signal so Enrique will stop looking for attacking players and prefer to focus on improving his club's performance.
I think the PSG coach has realized that PSG this season will not be able to appear stronger in the champions league and may only be able to try their best because without Mbappe, PSG cannot do anything.
