Ligue One have comes with surprising results although there's stable outcome for most of these elite clubs. We're talking about PSG, they're always Champions and it have become a seasonal routine for PSG. The UEFA Champions League have to do with formidable clubs, it's really a tough tournament. We're tired of watching the same old Paris Saint-Germain. They've nothing to prove over the past years, and this have become one of the disturbing stats for Les Parisiens.
PSG are no longer worried about Ligue 1 because they themselves are very aware that in Ligue 1 no team has been able to surpass them so far including for this upcoming season. So PSG only need to worry about the UEFA Champions League which until last season PSG still failed and could not get their first trophy there. So that is still a tough task for PSG in the coming season because PSG's target itself is still the same and has not changed like last season where they only need to focus on the UEFA Champions League because in Ligue 1 itself there is only one really strong team, namely PSG.

Honestly, Ligue 1 is not competitive, and that is the reason why PSG has been winning the Ligue 1 trophy every season over a long period now. If Ligue 1 were that competitive, they would surely be worried about winning it. But as for next season, let's see what will happen now that Mbappe is no longer in the squad. I know PSG still has great players and is still signing more players, but Mbappe is a different player for PSG, and they will really miss his contributions.

As for PSG winning the Champions League, that will be very difficult because, even when they had three world-class players in the squad, they did not win it. So now that they don't have them anymore, I don't have any confidence in the team. They should just continue winning their Ligue 1 trophy.

I don't agree with your opinion about PSG in the Ligue 1 title competition, of course because I think the title competition will still be tight even though PSG has been the most dominating team. PSG still has the potential to fail as long as their performance throughout the season is unstable, this has even happened before in the 2020-2021 season. At that time PSG failed to win the title because Lille ended the season with a 1 point lead over PSG.

PSG's concern about failing to defend the Ligue 1 title is definitely there, that's why they will always try to give their best in every match. The Champions League is of course the main focus that they always strive for, but they do not underestimate the Ligue 1 title competition at all.

Marseille a realized that without Mabppe, this would be the first season where PSG looks a little weaker and they are really doing all they can right now, they are getting as many players as they can to get that one title. They are aware that they can't keep getting titles, PSG has unlimited levels of money, and they will make the team good enough, and probably will win this year too.

However, at the very least Marseille hopes that this season they could get the win, if they get the title this season, all this money will be worth it because they can then sell many players as champions, making much more money, that's important situation. I believe that we are going to deal with a great situation when this ends, we just need to pay this team close look. If they do fine, I can see them win it all.

It seems very unfair to only blame the squad and coach, but PSG management in particular must be responsible. Many of their recruits are not very reliable, even this season's transfers. Their transfer activity tends to seem like good business for the player's agent or someone else with an interest, that's been the case with Chelsea too so far.
PSG's way from the beginning is actually wrong where they emphasize more on making PSG as galacticos in Ligue 1 by bringing in players who have enormous popularity regardless of the age of the players they bring.
PSG never understood if there was a process. They seemed motivated by what Madrid did with their Los Galacticos. That's why PSG bought many superstars. But, they kept failing because PSG was not Madrid.
They did look luxurious when they were at the Ligue 1 level but in the end with all the strength and old players who did have more popularity before in the end PSG was unable to make any breakthrough in the bigger competition which made them remain as usual when in the Champions League competition even though in Ligue 1 they were quite extraordinary because of their dominance.

They tried Ronaldinho, Bekham and even Messi and Sergio Ramos but it was a move that only wanted to gain popularity not trophies.
For now there's a difference in that by releasing Mbappe they're indirectly trying something new and Enrique wants to make this different in that he's not going to try the old schemes and rather make some policy with the players available.
It's a good move even though the first season will be difficult but I think PSG can play better without one player who is considered meritorious and considered the backbone of their squad because after all it's about a team game not an individual.

It's not PSG releasing Mbappé. It's Mbappé who rejected their contract extension. Enrique tried something new. But, Mbappé has been very consistent at PSG. He contributed the most to the club.
I think PSG won't be as aggressive as last season when Mbappe was there. I see none in PSG will be able to score more than what Mbappe did last season.

My prediction PSG will be less productive in their first season without Mbappe.
It starts from PSG who are too imposing because if only they gave freedom last season and did not force to keep Mbappe who already wanted to leave things like this would not happen but they were too imposing by trying to keep Mbappe with the duration of the contract running out.
Now when talking about performance everything is still possible because Mbappe's departure could be two conditions that I think are possible. First they may be able to adapt well and will actually be better than before because there is no player they make as a burden on the club or the second possibility is that this could actually backfire especially until now PSG still hasn't found a replacement for Mbappe.

Marseille and Lyon struggled really a lot in the previous season you know. Lyon made a big comeback and even qualified for the Europa League of course. Marseille couldn't even do that.

However in the transfer window so far, it is nice to see both of these teams being very active.  Smiley  So many players left and arrived at Marseille. Lyon hasn't make many player sales yet but signed lots of them.

I believe Lyon will continue to rise from now on and be competitive for top 4. When it comes to Marseille, in addition to these transfers they have De Zerbi as their new manager. I think we will see a positive change in their ranking as well.  Smiley
As long as Pierre Sage is maintained to bring Lyon to a higher level, we don't need to doubt Lyon appearance this season. Because thanks to the coach, Lyon was able to fight hard to continue to be consistent towards the end of yesterday season and could get tickets to appear in prestigious competitions.
But for Marseille, I was honest, a little doubtful and my doubt did not mean saying if this team was bad but the change of coach needed time to give approach and unite the wife by a coach with a Marseille player. Whereas at this time what I know the team is doing a big overhaul after failing last season and that means De Zerbi takes a little longer to be able to get the right strategy to improve Marseille performance.
And as long as De Zerbi continued to try to bring in quality new players in the rest of this transfer season, I am sure Marseille is able to compete to make the top 5 positions.

Luis Enrique, who is expected to improve PSG's quality, must work hard in the summer transfer market, quality players need to be brought in to fill the place left by Mbappe. Other players operating in other positions also need to be prioritized in order to maintain squad stability and improve performance.

PSG will experience a new era next season without Mbappe in their squad but should we underestimate them to win the Ligue 1 trophy next season?
Come on guys, of course we know who is the ruler of Ligue 1 all this time and without Mbappe in their current squad of course it won't affect PSG's chances of still being able to win Ligue 1 even in the next few seasons, financial strength has been PSG main strength so far to their dominates Ligue 1, so I think in the near future we might hear the words: Here We Go from Fabrizio Romano for PSG.

In the last few seasons, PSG main target is no longer the domestic trophy in France, but their ambition to get the Champions League trophy has made them not hesitate to waste a lot of money in the transfer market, the Champions League trophy is PSG main target and they of course that is burden  for every coach and player they have recruited so far.
Next season will be Enrique second year at PSG, after the first season he failed to bring PSG to UCL champions, so next season will be his last opportunity to prove himself as a coach with experience in the Champions League so far.

Luke I said in my previous post, it is only if PSG will win UCL that they should believe that they have achieved success because winning Ligue 1 over and over again does not show any improvement in their performance since no club can win them and they are the strongest.

It is when they are able to win their way through to the finals in UCL that it will be seen as success compared to past seasons. This should be what Enrique is focusing more one if not there will be no difference between him and past coaches which people are saying Enrique is better than. UCL is the only trophy that PSG needs to be happy.

Marseille continues to cook until now it is the goalkeeper's turn to be their concern. Marseille has secured Gero Rulli from Ajax for only 3m euros with a contract duration until 2027. He is not a young goalkeeper but a goalkeeper who is quite old at 32 years old but at least his appearance with Ajax can be brought here and help secure Marseille's goal so that it is not easily conceded.

There have been countless players who have joined Marseille this summer and almost every position has new players who will improve Marseille's performance next season. Now maybe only the striker position is still incomplete and as we know they are still trying to convince Arsenal to release Eddie Nketiah.

I'm not sure if there's been some changes in the management positions at Olympics Marseille but if you ask me, I'll say there's at least one change in one if the management positions and that's because the club have been business in the summer transfer window trying to improve their squad by signing players. The signing of Gero Rulli who's known for his experience goalkeeping is a very good addition to the club. Another important signing they made this summer was the signing of  former Manchester United player Mason Greenwood after his impressive performances during his time on loan at Getafe last season. I will not be surprised if Marseille goes on to strongly challenge for the French league title next season

We cannot doubt Enrique ability in terms of building a squad, but for now we cannot expect too much from PSG ability to compete in the Champions League, the squad that PSG has is very good, especially with the arrival of several new players at the moment, this will not exclude them as candidates for champions in Ligue 1, but if we talk about PSG then for now we will no longer talk about their abilities in Ligue 1, because after all PSG main target has been bigger (UCL trophy) than just to get the domestic league trophy, losing Mbappe clearly makes a lot of changes to their current squad, so it directly reduces the percentage of their chances of winning the Champions League trophy next season because at the moment we haven't seen many changes in their front line.
Talking about the big target for PSG next season with the hope of getting the UCL trophy, of course this must be accompanied by changes to the squad in several important lines at PSG so that Enrique's own ability can be more visible when training the players at PSG. But if until now PSG still has no changes in several important lines, of course there are still many people who doubt PSG's ability to get the UCL trophy next season. Moreover, coupled with the new format that generally every team must be ready to welcome it next season so that the strength level of the team squad must really exist and be tested.
I am clear that the current PSG team will not win the Champions League trophy no matter how much they plan or train this team. Ask those who know football well to find one aspect that would put PSG ahead for the Champions League. If a team does not have a good quality finisher or a good quality midfielder or a good quality defender then how will that team do well in a tough tournament like the Champions League. Last season they had Mbappe at the club but they don't have Mbappe this season but despite the absence of such an important star they haven't signed any players so far. A manager can give direction from the outside but he can't get on the field so if the team is not strong then PSG will have to leave the field with big defeats against the big teams.

I also don't want to have negative opinions about PSG for next season, because basically last season PSG also got a big contribution because Mbappe also managed to become the top scorer. So maybe, next season PSG will experience differences like previous seasons where it was easy to return to the top of the standings even though at the start of the season they didn't have good results. I think only Real Madrid is able to maintain a good team performance even though key players leave, but for other teams I personally might doubt it.

Therefore, I am sure that any results in Ligue 1 next season will still happen because, even though PSG in the last few seasons has managed to win the Ligue 1 trophy, but in reality PSG has never been smooth in achieving it. With PSG having a chance of getting bad results, this will of course be the right moment for other teams in the Ligue 1 standings next season to compete for trophies.

It appears like Marseille is doing a overhaul at this time, I have not seen them do this much in a very long time for some seasons, they had signed several other players and now they have got a goal keeper, no doubt they are aiming for a complete tough squad that can get them to me in the title race this season and if all of this which they have signed fits in well, they may become the next top contenders in the ligue 1 this season, PSG will literally be their almost equal, but I wouldn't want to be too quick, I wait the season to start and let me see what they have got. It's really a good one Marielle is getting more then enough which shows how ready they are.
After Mbappe left Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille, like all other French teams, sees this season as the best season to become champions. Paris Saint-Germain will not be good this season according to their expectations. There was a Paris Saint-Germain that has accepted itself for a long time, but with Mbappé leaving the team, other teams have started to hope. Marseille will fight for the championship like these teams this season. The expansion of the squad is very good for them.

Marseille has been very active in the summer transfer window and they have brought in several players to be brought to Valodrome. Apparently, there are also many who have left in this summer transfer window. So, it is only natural that they are active in recruiting players for several lines. Maybe the efforts made by the club are none other than to overhaul the team squad, also the project behind De Zerbi's plan. However, it seems that Marseille's movements in this summer transfer window are not over yet. The reason is, Marseille has been linked with the young Dortmund and Arsenal strikers. So far, there has been no follow-up for Moukoko. As for Nketiah, the latest news from several news sources reports that Arsenal is now willing to agree but with the price agreed by Arsenal. On the other hand, Arsenal completely leaves it up to Marseille to decide whether they will continue or not. However, it seems that De Zerbi has plans for this English striker to be included in his project with Marseille. Actually, I don't want to speculate too much about Marseille's performance in Ligue 1 next season, but at least Marseille is ready to return to being a team that re-enters the top four of the French League.

I think right now the management of PSG will not be expecting the coach to turn things around overnight with the current squad but they have higher chances of winning the Ligue1 and coming closer to the champions league competition but winning it next season means they will gather all the experience they have got and the team will need to prove themselves wrong to get things right if they must break betrayals of not winning the Champions League for the club. The current manager Enrique is a good coach who knows how to make use of his tactics very well he will definitely want to prove himself next season in the champions league people should not underestimate the PSG team yet.
Turning things around especially overnight is something no one should be expecting of the PSG coach and I don't think even their managers should be thinking in this direction as it's almost not possible, this period is one in which PSG is gradually trying to get back their form and seeing if its going to be possible they get much better than the ahv been so its honestly not an easy work for their coach and he's trying so hard already, thw best thing will be to lower the expectations and give him some more time.
PSG isnt in the business of patience. We're talking about a club with sky-high ambitions and resources to match. Preseason draws? Thats not the PSG standard. Luis Enrique, I respect the guy, but he needs to adapt. Fast. Soccer's about winning, not just fancy footwork. If he cant turn that star-studded roster into victories, well, we might be having a different conversation soon.

PSG's DNA is about dominance. They dont just play, They conquer. If Enrique's tactics dont translate to wins, the club needs to pivot. Not out of impatience, but out of necessity. The clock's ticking.

It seems they are ready to fight this season with all their preparations, with the condition of the squad now i think they can fight for the top 3. Moreover, they already have Mason Greenwood in the squad, + Vitinha, who has also finished his loan period from Genoa, they don't need another striker, so not being able to get Nketiah isn't a problem.
The preparation made by Marseille for this season is quite promising, they have brought in many quality players who are expected to be able to improve Marseille's performance. With what they have done in this transfer market, it is hoped that they can provide competition to the teams that dominate Ligue 1. Now it's just a matter of how the coach can take advantage of what they have, because in terms of the composition of the players they have, it is quite luxurious and that brings a breath of fresh air for them. One of my notes for them is that they must be able to maintain their game consistently after they can display a good game. The reason is that almost every season I see the problem that the teams in Ligue 1 have is that they cannot maintain consistency well so that it makes other teams able to shift them. If only they could play consistently, I'm sure Paris Saint Germain would also get heavy pressure to defend the title.

Everything needs a process, Luis Enrique cannot make PSG perform well in every match in a short time. Luis Enrique job is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand, it takes effort, time and patience to achieve the desired results. PSG have tried to do something that no other team has ever done or even found difficult, they once had a luxurious squad with a series of stars, but still failed in the UCL. Luis Enrique job is to make PSG capable of winning the UCL trophy and he also needs to maintain his dominance in Ligue 1, Management must give Enrique space and time to bring PSG to success in the UCL.

This is what everyone who talks about PSG repeats, the coach needs to be given more time, maybe it is so at least it worked for Guardiola at City, he came close to this goal many times until one day he did it. PSG by the way also often come very close, but there is always something missing, and when Enrique was in the semi-finals, I will say that it was noticeable that PSG needed to strengthen the attack, even despite the fact that they had Mbappe, although in the last matches he most likely thought about Real more than about matches for PSG, because his performance has noticeably decreased.

You are right their striking force at this time doesn't appear productive enough but they have got a really fair midfield and defense, their attack needs few adjustments too, I was expecting they would use this transfer window to make up for the strikers but it appears they still have some resentments holding them back in making the appropriate moves for the strikers at this time. The most I have seen from PSG has been them linked to one striker or the other and still end up not properly sealing up the deal at this time. Most likely Enrique has got his plans and a strategy that can work anyways.

PSG have strengthened their midfield and defense, but for some reason Enrique is in no hurry to transfer new forwards, perhaps this requires special selectivity in order to buy the best forward, or Enrique has a different vision and perhaps he only counts on the forwards he already has in the team. I would like PSG to have a good forward, especially considering how much the PSG attack line has lost in recent seasons...
